The staff is always knowledgeable, helpful, and they have excellent products (especially shoes) for running or walking. They will evaluate your gait and measurements to get the best fit for you!

Went to the Runners shop in Midland. Greeted at the door, helped with all of the correct shoes for my feet. I even learned a few things while in there... GREAT customer service, and very helpful. If they dont have it in store they also have drop ship. Great people. Would highly recommend this store to everyone I know.

Update: 5 stars now! 4/25/19. Ive been meaning to update my review. I did receive a quick same day response after I posted my initial review. After talking with the owner personally, I was provided an explanation of the system process after the register is closed instead of a stern, We cant open it back up after it is shut down - case closed type of attitude/situation. The owner was polite enough to take the time to call me back and apologize for any inconvenience. And I was able to easily exchange my shoe. Today I went back and bought a new pair of shoes and was greeted by everyone and was helped with professionalism. I look forward to being a repeat customer and glad that any previous issues were addressed quickly and accordingly. Thank you Runners. :)Old review below: (1 star given)Ive been shopping here since I moved here 2 years ago and today was my last time. I arrived 3 minutes before it was supposed to close at 7 pm. The guy said it was already 7 pm and had already shut off the cash register and said he couldnt help me. In my mind I was thinking that it must be fairly difficult to turn the cash register back on but I didnt say that. He was pretty defensive about the whole situation even though I was very nice and said I only needed a shoe exchange size for shoes that were already set aside for me. I asked if he could do anything to help me because Im leaving out of town in the morning but he replied with, Usually the door is already locked. You can come back tomorrow. And he wasnt even nice about it. I mean, the door was open, and the Open sign was on so I was able to walk in. I guess it was too much trouble to help me, and I was not even rude about it. Ive worked at several places with cash registers that arent that hard to turn back on but it must be some kind of sophisticated system. Im all about supporting local businesses. The owner is extremely nice and Ive always had a great experience but its amazing how one experience can make you feel unappreciated. I mean, it could be a very sophisticated cash register system so I may be in the wrong for asking for any kind of help. Maybe if he wouldve been nicer about it, I might have been less frazzled. I am perfectly fine with taking my business elsewhere from here on. I first walked through the doors in 2013 where I met Emily. After nearly a year of buying cheaper shoes from other stores I went to see her for a Gait Analysis and sizing. She changed my life for the better. Between the fitting process and her expertise in product knowledge Im glad I finally listened to someone who knows her job and has a passion for what she does. Best place to get athletic shoes in Midland! Especially running shoes. The staff is extremely helpful and will put in as much time as necessary to help you find the perfect pair. Theyll even help you out with accessories, such as socks, shirts, energy tablets, etc. As with most specialty athletic stores, the prices are high, but so is the quality. If you want a great great athletic wear, this is the place to go.

Sales person completely skipped me after waiting more than 30 minutes. Took a customer that just walked in the door. Not like he didnt know I was there he walked past me at least 7 times. Their loss I was going to buy expensive shoes and the other was just looking for inserts. Wont consider them again!
