We recently moved to Midlothian and I discovered this gem of a coffee shop when I needed to find a place to work.It is relaxed and eclectic, which I appreciate in a real coffee shop. The drinks are great, I have had the Dublin Ditty both iced and blended. And the brown sugar latte.I haven’t tried the sandwiches yet but the desserts are a nice portion and tasty.There are tons of little nooks to sit in and work and couches for a relaxed visit with friends. Super inviting and very pleasant.I noticed an advertisement for live music and they have a beautiful gallery of local art for sale. Very nice. I highly recommend.

I love Lighthouse!I really have a special attachment to this place. I can honestly say it’s the “overall” best coffee shop around.The place itself is clean, very spacious, and very comfortable. There is a multitude of comfortable couches and great study areas where you can easily clam down for hours.The walls are surrounded by local art that is also available for purchase.As far as prices go, it’s not only reasonable, it’s affordable. The homemade pastries are always great, and very cheap. The prices on sandwiches are a bit elevated for what they are, though.Their quality is always consistent. I have tried every single signature latte, and some blenders and food items and Lighthouse has never disappointed.To rate this place as “the most incredible coffee in DFW” would be a stretch, but they’re all pretty good. Much better place, much more affordable and much more unpretentious than a certain Rhinoceros down the road in Cedar Hill.

Great place to go if you want a nice quaint get- away coffee spot. A lot of seating both inside and out so you dont feel like you are crowded by others. Both the food and coffee had a good taste and the staff was friendly as well. Will definitely go back.

Awesome place. Great atmosphere. Roomy area. Multiple sitting spaces. Comfy seats. Beautiful artwork. Outdoor seating. Stage areas. All around great vibe and place.The important part. Delicious coffee. Im not much of a latte drinker but highly suggest the lavender honeycomb. I got it with an extra shot and was delicious. And my wife had the Rainy Day with oat milk. Hers was great as well. Will for sure be back.

One of my favorite coffee shop in town. They have a lot of hot and cold coffee and tea choices. Plus, love all their comfortable couches, tables and meeting spots. Way better option then Starbucks! 😉

Very comfortable atmosphere, great place for small business meetings and get-togethers with friends. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Waay better than Starbucks...their beans are much tastier and they have fresh-baked goods along with a great deli style menu.

They offer a large variety of delicious food. I liked eating here. The employees are always super nice, pricing is fair and the spot is always kept clean.

Cute setup, nice menu. Friendly staff. Id have given it 5 stars but they didnt have the sandwich from the menu that I really, really wanted (I might end up changing to 5 stars when Im not 9 months pregnant and sad about the craving anymore. Lol)

Made the decision to pass up Starbucks and came right to Lighthouse Coffee instead..and I do not regret it!When I had off campus lunch in high school this was my favorite place to stop by and grab a coffee and snack/ sandwich at. Still the same great quality from 8 years back.Loved it then & love it now!

Great ambience, friendly staff, high quality eats and good coffee, with all the typical hot and cold variants. Tons of seating with three semi private rooms, one large open area and outdoor seating as well. We will definitely go out of our way to be back again!

Good coffee, cozy place, nice staff. From iced to hot I like a good amount of the drinks. However if you get a blended drink and hear the blender get stopped early your drink is not gonna be that great. Its crunchy...

The lighthouse coffee shop in Midlothian Texas. I meet my friend there we have chats very private nobodys be nosy you can relax takes a long time for them to make the coffee not like Starbucks. But they have computer access they have places for people to sit and chat internet Wi-Fi believe. A cool location and I just like the fact that I get to meet my friend there and have privacy. The drinks are kind of different though the prices are not as cheap as you would think they dont taste anything like Starbucks

Came in Sunday after church. The food was great. Blended drink? Seems like the blender stopped working halfway through, there were huge chunks of ice all throughout. For a coffee shop I hoped for better drinks. Ill come back and hopefully its better

I love the Oreo Blender!! And that they have art from local artists on the walls!!! The staff is nice and the atmosphere is great for everything from business meeting to live performances from local bands and they ever have a regular open mic!

Their baristas are always n.y ice and friendly with great attitudes! The coffee is always very tasty as well! If youre in Midlothian, I would definitely check them out!

Awesome coffee bar with the kindest baristas. My coffee was made perfectly with just the right amount of coconut milk and vanilla. The venue has so many areas and it has the perfect small town charm. I was surprised to find avocado toast on the menu! It was delicious. Definitely a must try. If I lived closer, I would make this a regular spot.

One of the best coffee houses in the South Dallas area . Great food and beverages. You cannot beat the atmosphere . Very cozy . Always enjoy seeing the same friendly faces behind the counter. A shout out to the severs who are always so kind and patient Natalie and Riann .

Nice place. The Tuscan chicken panini was good, as well as the coffee. There are plenty of tables, and comfortable chairs and couches.

I always customize my drink and they took care and making sure it was exactly how I wanted it. plus the staff is really friendly!

Its got a beautiful interior space thats inviting to study/lounge/converse in. Lots of light upstairs.The food and coffee is really good as well. Their chicken Caesar salad was really good(no scrimping on the chicken) and the banana/peanut butter frozen coffee thing was great. Didnt go overboard on the sugar.Service is very good and friendly. One of the dudes at the register was walking around and grabbed my trash and refilled my water.This will become my go to study/reading coffee-shop.

This place really reminded me of the coffee shops I spent so much time in at home. A wonderful mellow atmosphere, a great place to gather with friends or even to just sit and drink coffee and read.

The food here is excellent. Good sandwiches and amazing coffee and drinks. They can be a bit slow, but they are doing things from scratch, so its an acceptable wait. I am not much into the entertainment portion, but I am happy they offer something and people seem to appreciate it.Additionally, as a non-member of this local place of worship (whom sponsors the location), I really appreciate that they do not attempt to preach, ram, or push their beliefs or place of worship onto you at all. In fact unless you pay attention, you would never know this was sponsored by the local lighthouse church.

I love this place. Its such a relaxed place with rooms and sitting areas scattered about with a windowed upstairs area as well. The coffee is also pretty good and simple which great along with a varied menu. Its a great place for quiet study or reserved meetings - the best for either in my opinion. Theres wifi as well with pretty decent speed. They arent the fastest but the place is still great for study and its purpose packs some heart. They also have open mic nights and events which is cool.

What a beautiful hideaway. I had the pleasure of taking in the Coffee Bars ambience, interesting flavors, and awesome artwork with a very special friend of mine. Though outside the city, maintains an eccentricity that is as encompassing as it is unique. I tried a Sgt Pepper Latte on my first visit, and I was not disappointed. The Lighthouse Bar offers satisfying sandwiches and paninis; a stage and upstairs art gallery, and so many great pieces on its walls.

Favorite coffee spot in the cedar hill area, always consistent. Sad to see the menu has shrunk. The pastries are also very delicious. Highly recommend.

This is a great locally-owned, nonprofit Cafe and Coffee Bar. They have really good salads, sandwiches and soups. Im not a coffee drinker, but they have some really great teas and other drinks. They also have events including concerts and Open Mic nights. There is also a really huge thrift store on the premises. This is definitely a place youll make a regular stop for hanging out and good food and drink.

Love the environment of this coffee shop. I definitely would recommend going here. If you are looking to support a local coffee.

Nice hangout, friendly employees. Latte was good, but my wifes coffee was lukewarm, though. Had to ask them to warm up in microwave. Which leads me to wonder how fresh it was.

Lighthouse is by far my favorite coffee shop. The service is exemplary, Ive never gotten a bad drink. Ive tried almost everything on the menu and you really cant go wrong. The atmosphere is very cozy and relaxed. It is a great place to come if you have to get some work done, a great place to write. The Batistas are very knowledgeable and friendly.it cant get much better. I highly recommend this coffee shop.

This coffee house is amazing! Love the local art hanging on the walls, and live music plays at night. The menu has some true gems! They actually make the items on the menu so it does take a little longer for a wait, but because of the quality I do not mind! I have asked for vegan/vegetarian options and they have been able to accommodate me!

I love this place its very very cozy I think its the quintessential of cozy. Their coffee is fantastic the people are very nice and the food is actually pretty good too I had there sausage soup the other day ( Im sorry I really dont know the name of it) and it was magnificent.The reason I took a star off of my review is because I just dont like their hours. They dont open early enough for a coffee shop which is when I really really desperately need coffee: On my way to work.But all in all it is an incredible place to take a friend, colleague, or client!

Ive been coming here for about five years, the drinks are great, and so is the food. Its a fantastic place to get a little work done, or just to meet up with a few friends. Lots of seating, and its usually pretty quiet.

À sweet find in the middle of nowhere. Really good drinks and lots of special Lattes to to choose from. They offer a variety drinks and their custom grilled cheeses and paninis really hit the spot. Nice staff and plenty of seating. The absolute perfect spot for meeting someone halfway.

This is my favorite place to go for lunch. The food and drinks are all so tasty. It can get very busy, so if you want to be there to experience the atmosphere when its peaceful, go after 1:30pm. Great place to read and relax.
