Today October 18th, my wife had to pick her script up and unfortunately pills are missing. On the phone trying to get someone on the phone contacting her Dr as well as maybe having to contact a higher authority… Be careful count your pills. One of 2 things happen either they can’t count are one of there employees have a serious problem but either way will figure it out. If there was negative stars they would get plenty. The reason we started counting is a last we know goes there for her scripts and she had this happen to me.
Great and easy location to get to. Love that theyre open 24/7 for everyones needs, and really appreciate the staff for being there all day (I know staff members rotate throughout the day, but you know what I mean).
If I could give it 0 stars I would. Good luck trying to call the pharmacy to get things fixed. I ended up driving over there to get some excuse to why one of my prescriptions wasnt filled. Then she argues with me about it when I have legitimate proof when I last put in a refill of my prescription. Be sure to count your pills because they either short your or give you way more than youre supposed to get, not sure how thats allowed. Ive also been given the wrong birth control TWICE. Called when I saw that they had the incorrect birth control in my account that was waiting approval to be told, oh someone put it in wrong. I never write bad reviews but Im done dealing with a pharmacy that is so bad. Whatever you do go somewhere else youll be saving yourself so much hassle. Trying to help other people out so they dont go through the same frustration I go through so often.
Horrible customer service experience. They have a pharmacy worker, Hispanic male slightly overweight acts like he hates his job. Hes rude and short with customers. I just spent 30 minutes trying to speak to someone. Only to be hung up on twice.Should I try again. (Eye roll)Anyone else have a lovely experience with him?
1st time I ever used Walgreens and they shorted me 2 bottles of medicine. Talked to pharmacist, manager but they insist they gave me 3 bottles of my prescription. Now I am completely out and they dont care like Im lyingKept saying its around my house somewhere. I have called my insurance and physician. This is wrong on so many levelsI wish my insurance would put CVS on their network. Very disappointed in Walgreens.
I work nights and usually shop at night, but whenever I go to this Walgreens. I always find something I’m looking for, sometimes it’s a miss and things not stocked like my flex disc in the women’s section, but other than that the have something I need. The staff is really nice and helpful never rude, they seem to like working with each other, very clean as well .I LOVE THAT ITS ACTUALLY 24 hours which is a HUGE PLUS IN A NIGHT SHIFT WORKERS WORLD. So thank you Midlo Walgreens.!!!! Please for the sake of us all keep up the good work 😉🥳❤️🤗
I guess its just me but I am not ready to see cashiers eat at their registers. At the camera register a long time employee was eating cool ranch Doritos in front of me I find it disgusting. There isnt a sink anywhere near there so when is that person going to wash after eating? I will not come to this location again it was by accident that I had to go in. There is still cold and flu going around and im not willing to get sick. I want to rate 0
My favorite Walgreens. I have never had a bad experience and the employees are always friendly
The Pharmacy and the people who work there are phenomenal! Everyone at the Pharmacy is patient, professional, and hard working. They will answer all your questions if you have any and they are extremely polite. This location is much better then the one on 135th st which I have had terrible experiences there. If you live near the area and need to chose a Pharmacy I recommend this location 110%!!!
Sat on hold with the pharmacy for 25 minutes, twice- and both times was hung up on before even getting to speak to someone. You have to literally drive there to speak to someone. As someone who works in pharmacy I have no idea how this is even allowed. If I could give zero stars I would.
I have been frequenting this Walgreens for 21 years. I absolutely love the staff. They are friendly, helpful and provide positive customer service.
I used 4 coupons and got home realized only one coupon of mine was used and my tide pods weren’t even scanned nor given to me. I won’t be shopping here again this is the third incident I’ve had with the older black lady cashier she acts as if coupons are fraudulent or wrong to use. I’m over it and I’m pretty sure she stole the other three coupons I have since they weren’t even scanned
I was in line to pay and the older lady who was working as the cashier looked at a customer and said look we have a little shopper today!!!Thank you for STATING THE OBVIOUS and treating my disability as a joke. Its difficult enough to walk in without the stares but a cashier pointing out my disability to someone else out loud is beyond rude. Please teach your employees to be kind or at least keep their ignorant comments to themselves.
I would give this Walgreens 5 starts but the only reason I’m not Is because of an employee named Dot! Her attitude is very disgusting to people who don’t look like her 🙄! She needs to be in the back stocking products rather than being at the register being a prude!!!
Its Walgreens aaaaaannnd Its Open 24 hours...need I say more? This visit was a late night snack run. Reeses cups, chocolate filled with caramel & Yorks peppermint patties...all sugar free & amazing! Bless yaself😊
I like this location. They have many long term employees
I personally prefer this walgreens for one reason and that is Sean!! Hands down the best employee ever! There is no one like you! Always friendly always caring and definitely full of jokes! You really do help your customers moods get into a better place just being you!! ❤
I feel like I was taken advantage of today by a pharmacist with the initials CL who either miscounted my script or stole half of it bc a competent professional wouldn’t mistakenly count only 30 pills out of 60 pills. I left the script there because they couldn’t print out a new label for me because it was beyond their authority to do so with out the pharmacist who filled it being there or the manager of the pharmacy. They reviewed the security cameras and couldn’t see if she miscounted or stole any which brings my attention to the lack of security within the pharmacy. I believe cameras should be placed directly in front of the scales while the pharmacist do their counts for any and all prescriptions. I’ll return Monday with hopes of being able to write a positive review on getting my proper prescription with the correct count. Otherwise that pharmacist who filled my prescription should be identified as a professional who cannot meet the standards of what it means to be reputable pharmacist.
Not sure what the point of having the pharmacy open at 7am when no one wants to acknowledge you when you are standing there or while you are in the drive through. Quite nice to watch an employee sit there near the window and act as if they cant see or hear you. Great job this morning.
Convenient hours and location. Just south of 147th & Cicero (west side of street, next to White Castle). Plenty of parking. Drive up pharmacy pickup window in back.
I like going to this store, everyone is very nice and helpful. I like coming to this store because I can find most of the items that I look for and if the staff is aware about any additional coupons or discounts, they tell me about it and apply it right away to my purchase. For me, this is my favorite Walgreens and I recommend it 100%
This Walgreens is spacious, organized, and always very clean. Great quick stop store for many every day must haves.Terrific expanded candy selections for all during Valentines, Easter, Halloween, and Christmas.❤ 🌰 🐇 🍬 👺 🍫 🎅Though lines do form at times, clerks regularly step in to man extra registers to help speed up wait times and shorten the lines.Located in a strip mall at 147th St. and Cicero Avenue, this Walgreens is easy to spot and easy to access from either cross street. Huge parking lot also provides ample parking for shoppers even during the Christmas holiday season.👍
I’ve had some issues with the pharmacy staff at this location but for the most part they’ve been helpful. Despite that the reason I am giving 5 stars is for one outstanding employee. Sean is the absolute best and makes me laugh every time I come in. Today I was at the check out with someone else, Sean was behind the check out as well and overheard that I was looking for a product I couldn’t find and explained where it was. I couldn’t find it because I was in a bit of a hurry so I just figured I’d get it later. Sean actually went through the store and found it and came out to the parking lot to tell me where it’s located and that it was on sale for when I come back plus ended with “I just love to see my customers smile!”. Awesome customer service and great human being. Thank you Sean!
This location is extremely better than the location north at 135th Street. While I can’t say I’ve had many problems with the pharmacy at this particular store, the few times I did use them were more pleasant than the 135 store. In comparison, this store is much cleaner, organized, well stocked, and the employees are more helpful and friendly than the neighboring Walgreens. When need be, I will only visit this Walgreens, for lesser of the 2 evils.
They have everything I need and good customer service after midnight
Pharmacy picks up the phone and hangup even on a prescriber. Super unprofessional. Go somewhere else
Arrived at the store approx. 11:50 PM . When I arrived at checkout at 12:08 am I was refused the Saturday sale prices by the Store Floor Lead, Lynn Kerns, she then shut her register drawer and walked away. Seriously? I would have checked out sooner, but there were about 6 people in line and I went to pick out a card, rather than wait in line. Additionally, some items I intended to purchase were NOT ON THE SHELVES!I called the store when I arrived home, for her name and mentioned that my Walgreens Rxs are approx 8 or 9 HUNDRED $$$ dollars a month and I was considering pulling them from Walgreens. Ms. Kerns said Thats alright! I asked why she didnt tell people about prices when they walked in the store. No answer... I said Gone.. pulling my prescriptions, Gone! She hung up on me! The reason I gave this store a single star rating... there is no lesser choice! Gone! Click.
I have never had any issues with this store, its always a good experience when I go in. Yesterday, however, was the best experience and I just wanted to say thank you! It was my grandmas 76th birthday and I unfortunately waited until the last minute to get her gift. I went into this walgreens to print out a picture of my entire family the last day we were ever in my grandmothers house (she sold it and moved into a senior living community. When I printed the picture the kiosk told me the order wouldnt be ready until later in the day. I thought since it was only one photo it would print instantly. I panicked and found an employee. I asked her if she could print it right away since it was only the one photo and she saved my bacon and helped out with a friendly attitude. I didnt catch her name but I wanted to give a shout at and say thank you because that photo meant alot to my grandma! It was a small gesture but it meant alot!
Had a prescription that I had filled at Wal-Mart that I wanted Walgreens to fill instead. Big mistake. This place is a joke. I had talked to somebody there and said no problem. WELL one day latter I call to see what is going on with prescription, they have no idea what Im talking about. This place is a joke of a pharmacy. DO NOT GET YOUR PRESCRIPTION FILLED HERE, THEY ARE INCOMPETENT AND SHOULDNT BE ALLOWED TO OPERATE .
I think its time to switch pharmacies. Waiting in the drive thru is just ridiculous. I dont no how many times they shorted me on my medicine and Ive had to call and let them know. And half the time they say my insurance isnt on file. Been going here for years. Time for a change
Dont bother... they have NO respect for their customers, they are ignorant and will leave you waiting for upwards of 30 minutes without saying ANYTHING when you come into their drive thru... Go down the street to CVS on Pulaski they appreciate their customers and if you have a green tag card you get bonuses even when you have no co-pays!
Theres a man or maybe its a woman .Idk . Names Tony . She accused me of stealing ....... Pushed me up against the wall....dumped my purse (which im pretty sure is not allowed) found nothing in my purse. Proceded to open my makeup bag and took my urban decay. And too faced eyeshadow palettes . Claiming i took them from walgreens. Which is funny because they dont sell GOOD makeup at walgreens. I never got them back. The pharmacy......i take 2mg alprazolam.......they gave me 1mg.....i think someones pocketing scheduled pills
Pharmacist here are so rude especially over the phone
Was here Wednesday November 23rd at around 11:40pm I just got off work stopped to grab a few things... wanted to buy a bottle of wine went to the checkout, I guess at this point it was after 12am. I put my items on the table the lady abruptly grabs the wine and said well youre not going to buy this now...moves the wine off to the side...offers no explaining why i dont frequent Walgreens so Im not sure the rules I just believe she could have been more decent about it. Then as Im paying the phone rings another employee comes to the front and says in a mocking tone are you guys open, how late are you open Im assuming mocking whomever is making their call they hadnt answered yet. If youre so miserable maybe you shouldnt be in retail. Very poor service in my opinion I left feeling like I wont return and maybe go somewhere where I wont feel like Im going to be mocked or treated poorly.
Store is well stocked, I usually find what I need and the staff is friendly, except everyones not so favorite grumpy cashier, Dot, but other than that, I usually come here instead of the one down the street because of how well the store is kept and their supply.
Love this store. Never have any issues here.
This pharmacy is a freaking joke!!!! I switched to meijers. Prescriptions ready in 15 minutes instead of 3 hours. And the pharmacist heta too no tou and remember. Walgreens pharmacy employees apparently needs more training. They say one thing isnt covered so I pay out of pocket well over 100 dollars next day my insurance made it clear the medicine was covered. And employee are very rude. and the drive thru make sure your prepared to wait at least 15 minutes. MEIJERS is the best! Never again going to Midlothian Walgreens.
I would give it 0 stars if able, the staff working on Friday March 4th 2016 at around 10:00 pm are so rude, waited in the drive through lane for over ten minutes with no acknowledgement from the tech working there even though he walked by the window about 4 times. So he obviously knew I was there, finally the Pharmacist came to the window and the first thing he says is You cant wait for your prescriptions to be filled in the drive through, no greeting, no how can I help you, this just really infuriated me. Absolutely no customer service at all!!, I explained through gritted teeth that I wasnt waiting for a prescription to be filled I was here to pick up a prescription but since nobody has even come to ask what I needed for over 15 minutes while there where no other customers there when I first pulled up, what should have been a 2 minute process has become this ordeal. Then to top it all off he had trouble finding my prescription, I just couldnt take it anymore, told him to forget it, transfer the prescription to the Walgreens on 159th and Central. I have never had bad experience at that Walgreens, this one here on 148th and Cicero totally unprofessional and incompetent, a joke really, will recommend to everyone I know to never come to this store, they just plain suck!!
Went to the drive thru for my medicine and had to wait almost 20 minutes while they filled the car in front of me. I have been told to pull around and come in for the 20 minute wait and to update my insurance. I call my script in 4 days ago and it was the wrong inhaler they couldnt get that right either.
Up until this year, I have had nothing but positive things to say about Walgreens. However, this year has been terrible!!! I have a regular prescription that I renew every other month. And, the last time I placed my refill request via the new automated service, the Walgreens I have gone to ever since I was a child failed to place an order to refill my meds. They used to keep them in stock, but they were no longer doing so. I understand that if something is out of stock that it needs to be ordered, but how about some follow thru and communication??? After FIVE days of hearing nothing, I go out of my way to stop by in person only to find out that it doesnt look like its been ordered. That was two months ago. Now, just last Friday 10/10/14, I stopped in to personally submit a refill request. Again, they are not in stock and the lady tells me shell have to order them, so they wont be in until Monday 10/13/14. Fine. Today, I jump thru hoops via the automated call service and hold for ten minutes, get disconnected, call back, get patched thru, only to be told it doesnt look like the order was placed once again!!! Is it that hard to order out of stock medication??? Especially ones that I have been taking and obtaining thru Walgreens for years??? At this point, my entire lot of family and friends are just about done. I dont know what happened to their customer service, but we cannot be well if staff continues to disregard customers.
Right by my house!
Nice store to go to
There is good and bad employee like everywhere
Its ghetto and NOT open 24 hours!!!!!
Has a 24 hour pharmacy
