Agent Brandi verbally abusive - incessant verbal one-upmanship. Talking over the top of you. Keeps grudges. Rude. Hands up on you. Laughs at you. Absolutely abusive patient relations and patient care. Absolutely, abusive. Avoid this retrograde place. Furthermore, when my insurance says things are covered no problem, this place doesnt trust what they are repeatedly told by insurance companies. Yes, theres coverage for canes with my insurance. Yes, theres coverage for inhaler spacers. Verified again, and again, and again, with my insurance. But this place only trusts their Broken Computer which gives Wrong Info on this front. But above and beyond all this, dont forget about the Verbal Abusive you can and and shall receive from Brandi. Also when calls are routed to their Ogden office, that office hangs up on people too. This really is a retrograde place.

If you have a billing questions good luck trying to communicate with someone, they transfer you to tin buck two and you try to speak with someone who barely speaks English. DONT EVER GIVE THEM YOUR CREDIT CARD, PAY WITH A CHECK. Once they get your card they can just bill you any amount and time. I finally turned off my card. Apria is one of the worst companies Ive ever dealt with. Stay away if you can.We used Apria to rent oxygen and an oximeter for our son and the entire experience was a nightmare. First, we could not get a hold of or coordinate delivery for over 72 hours. Then, upon delivery, equipment was missing.Once we had all the equipment, the Apria representative was rude and unprepared to provide training on how to use the equipment. We had to get help (outside of Apria) to show us how to properly use the equipment.

Worst company ever!!! Billing for CPAP equipment is confusing and the worst. No one understands English and you need to talk to 3 people to resolve their billing issues. Seeing the negative reviews, I had to give my input. Though I at first experienced difficulties with this company after they took over from Praxair, since then they have steadily improved. One time their respiratory therapist even saw me on an emergent basis during her lunch hour and resolved my problem. Over time I have gotten to know them and they me. As an established patient, I order CPAP supplies from them and also rent an oxygen concentrator. At this time I feel their service is excellent and dependable. I fully trust and like their respiratory therapists and their equipment. My oxygen concentrator is reliable and works well for me. Apria will be my DME provider as long as possible.

I never even received a bill, they just charged my card. When I called to figure out what the charge was for, they said they charge monthly. For the light equipment we received, we were told it was daily. It is not right to bill our insurance and charge us a whole months worth of co pays when we only had the equipment for 4 days. When my daughter was born she needed bilirubin lights and St. Marks so kindly had this company drop off the biliblanket to our hospital room. My daughter used the lights for 2 days and I called them to have them pick up the equipment. Lady on the phone said my doctor needed to fax in a form saying my daughter no longer needed them, but they would stop billing us. Called the pediatrician, got the fax sent in and scheduled a pick up for the next day. Equipment got picked up. My daughter is now 5 months old and we are STILL getting billed for the lights. My husband has called multiple times, each time being assured that the problem has been taken care of. They refunded money they pulled from the HSA. We thought we were finally done. HAHA, NOPE. We got another bill in the mail from them today. Please go anywhere but here.

Worst billing department!I changed my insurance a while ago. And, the Apria billing department charged me twice for the same device because of it! After spending about 10 hours total on the phone with the customer service on several phone calls, they still sent me new bills. This was the worst customer service experience I have ever had by far. The Apria representatives did not have the knowledge nor the will to help me. Their indifference was staggering. All they care about is sending bills and expecting me to deal with the problem that they created in the hope that they can squeeze more money out me. It is sad to see them take advantage of patients that need their supply and equipment to survive and not care at all about their health. I understand that they are trying to run a business, it just is not an honest one.

If you need equipment from them for any reason you better make sure the prescription is perfectly written or it will never be filled. You will not be notified of an issue either, you will find out when you just dont get the order. You can try to call but you will be on the phone for 2+ hour trying to find someone that can figure out what is going on. Only to find out you need to call your doctor and then call Apria back and jump through the same hoops. Do not plan on having your order filled immediately. They will not accept any accountability to contact you or your medical professional if there is an issue either. Please have your doctor type the prescription and their name and then sign it.They are too big to provide decent customer service. Even if you have a local office you will not be able to talk to them unless you show up in person. Took 48 hours for me to get my prescription even acknowledged but then the delivery drivers were too busy and I had to wait till the next day for my O2. Hopfully if you need anything from them it is not an urgent situation. You will not make it.

Each time I call their call center, I’m told that they are processing a refund. Still don’t have it. Then, yesterday, July 14th, I receive an automated message that APRIA will be coming today, July 15th, to pick up their equipment.UPDATE:It is now August 14th. They didn’t charge my card for July! Hooray! But, they sent me a paper bill in the mail. So, they are still billing me, for something I have not have in over 5 months. Once the equipment was picked up, they billed our insurance incorrectly, and when we called to ask them to re-bill the insurance, they skirted around it and wouldnt answer whether they would or not. We asked to speak to a supervisor and they refused to let us. They then hung up on us. We called back and spoke with someone who agreed to re-bill our insurance and said that we wouldnt have any more problems, and today we just got a call from them asking for us to pay the whole balance. We explained that we are waiting for the insurance to be billed first, and they insisted that we pay the balance and have our insurance reimburse us, which is not how it should work. I’d give Apria 0 stars if that was possible, but 1 is the minimum. We were forced to use Apria due to lack of other options. They’re nigh impossible to get a hold of on the phone, and even when you do finally get to talk to a person they have no idea what’s going on with their delivery folks. I cannot believe this company is still in business. If I could give negative stars I would. Their staff is very rude on the phone, always sounds annoyed with me, and every time we call to see why the equipment hasnt been sent they can never give us a straight answer, or they claim they never received the fax for the order. our patients would rather pay 100$ out of pocket to go through IHC because it is cheaper than an ER copay. we have never had success with this company. we dread going through this company. They were the ones submitting it in the first place. I started to wonder if they knew how to do their jobs. They are unorganized and don’t communicate with the customer. They showed up at my door with another product, never contacting me to schedule a delivery. The system is hard to learn they are unorganized and still too new. The job is stressful and made me hate myself. The only thing I enjoyed was the pay. The management is horrible you ask a supervisor a question and you get different answers from all of them, or they make up answers. They have a group chat with over 80 people where you are expected to get your questions answered. You usually take calls out of state and it is almost impossible to get a hold of the local locations which is frustrating to you and the caller. Sometimes the calls get too overwhelming, its every one of five calls someone is yelling and they dont train their employees well enough so youll be correcting a lot of other peoples mistakes. Their guiltless salesmen lies are inappropriate in the medical field and may cause my child to be admitted to the hospital when I go this morning, which is 6x later than the nurse suggested.
