Second to none. They cleaned up some tuning issues and what a difference it made. You go anywhere else, you’re wasting your time and money.

10/10 would not recommend if you want your car to run right. Have had nothing but problems since being tuned by them. Had them install intake manifold took them a day, when picking up the car it had no breaks. Took it back they fixed that then my car kept dieing. They said “ car was self learning that it will fix itself” drove for a week died 5-6 time every time I drove it. Then couldn’t get them on the phone for another week. Finally get the car in the shop they have it 3 days “ they couldn’t figure out the problem “ tried blaming it on everything but what it was the tune!! Not the first time this shop has done this to me or friends so stay away. Save your money and time go to someone who knows what there doing.

I had a bad experience with this company it took them an extreme amount of time to complete work, they also didn’t complete everything and after trying too get my vehicle back in their shop to get the work completed they told me I hadn’t paid for the work anyhow, the work was just finishing putting exhaust Tips on, folks I’m here to tell a guy doesn’t just keep calling for 8 months for nothing, I found that these men are not honorable and would not recommend!! I was very patient in dealing with these guys .. BUYER BEWARE!! Your response is Ridiculous, as I stated I wasted 8 months of my time waiting on you all to complete installing the tips, I called two times asking to get in, each time you all were to busy with no mention of further charges to install the tips, I finally decided to go to your shop and see if you all would complete the work, that’s when you skillfully informed me that I hadn’t paid for it anyhow, and that you had done your homework and looked at the invoice and it did not show that the tip installation had not been paid for, ladies and gentlemen here’s where this company is dishonest there invoice merely states without breaking down what was done as exhaust $660 dollars and another line for tips at $99.99, once again no breakdown of what was done in the exhaust line, I’ll also add they installed used magna flow mufflers, once the truck was on the lift and I seen the mufflers and asked about it they blamed their supplier on the used mufflers. They dyno tuned my engine at $500 dollars which I had to have retuned, which I have receipt for, they also charged my a/c system which was wrong, I had to pay again to have that corrected.. whoever responded back to my complaint is a bold face liar at Able Racing, folks I treated these people with respect and patience the whole time I was dealing with them…. They are not only not reputable but they are liars as well… SO BUYER BEWARE OF THIS BUSINESS

Not your average plug n load tuners. Even though my project truck had its issues both time it came in all employees were very helpful.

I searched around and Abel Racing was recommended to me by a friend. I drove the 11 hour round trip and I’m glad I listened to them because the work they performed turned out excellent. I needed a 8.5 nhra spec cage for my car and they knocked it out of the park. Great communication keeping me informed on any issues they ran into in the timeframe I needed it done. I have 20 years experience dealing with race shops. I dont like to rant but will make an exception for this one. With Abel, if you dont have what they like, your out of luck in getting good service. They do not have the experience to serve all race applications. If you dont have what they like, they dont even want to work on your vehicle. I really just wanted to get a dyno run after another mod, but I wont be back. They obviously dont care about the engine I have, because the dyno numbers were way off. The guy(Andre I believe) didnt want me to run all out with full boost because he claims my engine couldnt handle that much. Excuse me? My engine is fully built and I have ran full boost for over 8 years now with no issues. How is it that I go to two shops in okc with the same boost ran at Abel and come out over 215 hp more? I dont like shops that treat you bad just because you have something they think is a waste of time. You need to respect all racers no matter what they have.In reponse to the owners response:  my comments on They do not have the experience to serve all race applications, I did not mean you didnt work on a lot of different stuff. I mean that if someone comes in with one type of fuel system and it is setup correctly and running fine,  you shouldnt act like its the worst system out there and try to convince them to change to what you use.  I was told that my system wasnt very good but that you never tuned one. So how do you know its not good unless you have did it?You convinced me to take off my $500 boost controller and put one of yours on that you said would work better. I believe I gave you $45 for some $5 pipe fittings from home depot.  I still have the pieces if you want them back or if anyone questions what I got from you guys, I still have the receipt also.  Not that it didnt work at first, but within a week I had surging boost, and pulled it off. I put mine back on and have had no issues since. I run over 30 psi daily.  You had me lower it to 10 psi for the dyno run, which was irritating.  Like you didnt want me in your 500 & up club. That makes a huge difference in power.  I have never brought any of my other cars to you because I do my own tuning.  I just wanted to see what the hp numbers were so that when people ask me I can tell them something.I go by your shop on Douglas practically everyday.  I am not trying to disrespect you guys and may drop by another day just to see if the makeover has changed anything other then your looks. I raised my rating because you took the time to respond and apologize.I have included a pic of the receipt and part so that you dont think Im just making up my story.

Known Andre and J.R. for a long time. They are great guys, very knowledgeable and do amazing work. Andre is an amazing tuner who will do all he can to make your car right. Prices are fair and beyond reasonable for the quality of work youll receive. Their shop is awesome, lots of room with a viewing area for their regular 2wd Dyno. They also have an AWD Dyno in the back now as well. Highly recommended if you need someone to tune, build, or repair your car.

I never review anything but today I feel like I was taken advantage of. I called and made an appointment and was told the price would be 175$-275$ for a tune adjustment but at the end i was charged 700$ for a tune adjustment. I would haver never made this appointment if i had been quoted 700$. My car was already tuned but needed a couple changes. This was not a full tune or initial tune which is what I was charged for. Andre didnt really know haltech software and when any issues arose i was told there were mechanical problems with the car and had to take sensors apart and chase phantom timing issues. Also I had to do the research and speak with haltech tech support which their few suggestions fixed the issue which was all done through the software. Andre did want to help get everything right and spent alot of time with me but hours of wasted time could have easily been avoided with the knowledge about the engine and software for the amount of money charged. I would of walked out feeling better about it if it would of been 350$ to 400$ for the service due to the extra time spent working with it.Edit in response to owners reply.1: I never spoke to your secretary when the appointment was setup.. I spoke to one of your guys and told him everything I had and what I wanted done which he told me the price of 175-275 for that to be completed which was obviously a lie to make sure you could take extra money from me.2. Yes you tuned another car for me that was in fact a full tune including licensing and software for uprev because the car had no tune on it and we agreed upon the 700$ charge for that.3. You made 2 very minor adjustments to my fully tuned car which Id be glad to post side by side map comparisons showing what was done. Also haltech told me how to fix it and I had to relay the information back to you.. 700$ to adjust a trigger angle and make very minor fuel map adjustments is Ludacris and i would have never agreed to that so yes you took advantage of me and no I will never be back to your establishment.4. I was fine with paying some additional charges for the time spent and that should of been covered with me before the car was ever pulled into your shop. Its a scam and youre aware of it and how to pull it off. Standing in a room trying to argue about being over charged with armed guys next to you didnt seem like the best idea at the time.5. YOU CANT TELL SOMEONE OVER THE PHONE A PRICE AND THEN WHEN CHECKOUT COMES JACK IT UP 500$!!! ITS JUST BAD BUSINESS AND I HOPE EVERYONE OUT THERE READING THIS DOESNT GET SCAMMED LIKE I DID

Everyone has their own opinion on shops in the local area. Ive known these guys for years, and this is the shop I feel most comfortable with, Andre & J.R.are very knowledgeable & straight forward with you, and provide you with good advice on whatever project youre currently working with. Just understand that good work may take a moment to complete, so if you are a guy looking for someone to throw a bunch of junk together for you in an hour or two, this is not the shop. This shop has produced a lot of nice high horsepower cars of various manufacturers.

Best guys youll ever meet. Great service too. They explain everything to you in layman terms and theyll even show you what theyre going to do to your car and why they do it. Man went to Abel to have my 2010 Camero SS dyno tuned, talk about some badass gm guys there. Had a great time. They let you watch, video, ask any questions you have and most of all you dont leave unhappy. I highly recommend going to these guys, and they build some cool stuff.

Abel has helped me with all my setups. Built motor NA, turbo on E85, retuned with bigger injectors, and soon to be a Holley setup with a 6 speed to auto swap.

Ive taken my car there a couple times, Andrei did a great job tuning my car. The 2nd time I came back for a retune, after I made some changes and had issues with my car, and they litterally spent the entire day trying to help me and diagnosis my problem. Most tuners would just leave you hanging and tell you to bring it back another time. Andrei, JR, and there crew care about pleasing there customers! I would recommend them to anyone!

We arrived only to find we had issues whike on the dyno. We were running out of fuel at 680 hp, and it was more than we could cure on the dyno. JR was quick to reachedule us, and the entire crew handled this with a professionalism rarely seen today, and even moved that achedule up when we got the fuel system repaired.Once on the dyno, we once again ran into an issue with the boost controller.Once again, these boys took it in stride, and Andre even jumped in to lend a hand!Then the magic began. Seeing Andre work his magic in a seemless, methodical manner was indeed a sight to see, as the hp numbers kept climbing.We finished the pull with the best of 884 hp and 713 ft lbs torque!Yea baby. Andre is da man!Next up: May 5th he gets my LSA supercharged 1974 Stingray Corvette to apply some magic!

I have taken my cars to Abel for over 10 years. They have helped me with tuning, E85 conversions, custom turbo kit for my lightning that makes 850 rwhp and drives like stock, built and tuned my Procharged Magnum that makes 620 with help of a methanol kit on 87 octane. They match Summit Racing prices on parts and they have below advertised prices on Prochargers.These guys are fair and friendly. They even installed a pool table for customers to play while waiting on their car. It is hard to not just want to hang out there and talk cars with other car guys.I couldnt recommend them enough!

I was originally hesitent about taking my vehicle to them but I decided to give them a shot despite what people say about them. I got my car back from Abel and I could tell an immediate difference in horsepower and torque but still the numbers seemed kind of low. I only saw a 22 horsepower and 25 torque more to the wheels off of full header, catless, and cat back So I decided to get a second opinion I went to a different tuner. Needless to say they made 48 more horsepower and 80 more torque. Also I noticed that the car was shifting really rough from 2-3 and 3-4. After I got the retune I have not had that same problem. Abel your problem is that you do not put enough time into each tune. My newest tuner put 4 and half hours into making sure it was perfect plus my graphs were not straight. At all. Needless to say the new tuner straighten everything out. I will give credit where credit is due Abel did a fantastic job fabricating mid pipes and installing my full exhaust system from headers to catless but they did not satisfy on my tune. My new tuner even let my drive around the block to see if everything went fine or if there was anything he could change. Abel just doesnt spend enough time with each individual person. I would like a full refund on the custom tune. Maybe they will deliver this time but who knows. I made a typo my numbers came out 345 for horsepower and 414 for torque. And I really love how they paraphrased some of the things I said in order to make it appear like I gave them a good review. My max power 399 at 5750 and 406 torque. To the wheels.

When I need it they make it happen. From mild to wild they can get it done.

The truth is that I do not recommend this place for a month to install it. A procharger ami jeep 2007 st8 before they installed it, I asked them if my engine with 146xxx miles would hold up and they said if they just needed to change the spark plugs because they were clean because it had an oil leak from the chain cover. Timpo and they advised me to fix it then I told them that it was fine and they fixed what they had to fix, a few days later I went for my jeep and it was working well, the truth is not even driving it except for once I went to Dallas and came back I did not drive it or Even the 800 miles and for a few days the engine got out of commission because it lacked 2 quarts of oil I had them checked and they changed the starter motor and they told me that the engine was out of control because it was missing oil then I asked the owner how is it possible in such a short time 2 quarts has been spent in less than 800 miles traveled, Estonian told me that it was normal, a built engine uses a lot of oil. Well the engine of my jeep is all original except for the procarger and the headers repeated that how was it possible to spend so much, Im not an idiot to believe that then the owner told me I didnt have to start pointing my fingers So they that he is not jiffy lube to check the oil and I asked him how is it possible if I spent about 12,000 dollars, he told me that it does not matter how much he spent, it is not his fault, it is the fault of whoever gives service to my car. But no one ever touched my jeep more than them, as it is possible that they fixed the oil leak from the timing chain cover and then they told me that they had nothing to do with the engine oil, I dont want anything for free or to be put on A new engine just k take responsibility for their actions maybe for them it is nothing what I spent on my car but for me if it is much the saddest it is because they do not care about the cars of others, so I would not recommend it.
