Excellent experience! always go to Q Gardens first before anywhere else because they have an amazing selection. You dont have to buy a complete set; you can buy pieces individually. Bobby, the manager/ owner was absolutely amazing! I couldnt find a table to fit my chairs. He problem solved and was able to shorten the length of the legs of the chairs to fit the table that I bought from there. And they have awesome accessories for your patio and yard, such as bird feeders and wall plaques and decorations. Bravo Q gardens!!

Outstanding service, excellent quality and unbeatable price! I was impressed with my experience purchasing a beautiful patio dining set today! It was refreshing to be able to take my time looking around without being pounced on by a high pressure sales person. When I needed assistance, Jimmy was right there to help, sitting and talking with my fiancé and I as if we were old friends. To top it off he arranged for same day delivery on a holiday weekend!!! Will certainly be returning for all my garden/patio needs going forward and can’t wait to recommend Q-gardens to family and friends. Thank you all so much! I walked in to inquire about river stones. The man asked me to wait and said someone was getting them and that they were expensive and would be 10.00 a bag... A man walked up about 10-15 minutes later and dropped a dirty bag (covered in moss or mildew, so you could not see through the bag) on the floor in front of me. The older man then proceeded to tell me these were rare stones and it was 15.00 a bag. I said they were not because even Lowe’s sells them, but I chose to try someone local. He looked at me and shrugged his shoulders so I walked out. I will never go there again.-New Milford resident

I was in the market for a cantilever patio umbrella and wanted to support local business so I headed over to Q Gardens. Many of their inventory is stored out in the yard and as one reviewer noted, some items are weathered. What ultimately got me to leave without making a purchase was the religious radio station they had on. Not only was it in the store, but they also had it piped into the yard with loudspeakers! Please, I have no issue with religious choice. I am baffled as to why the owner believes that pouring Christian guilt over your customers is a good business move. Are they being exclusive to non-Christians? Are they hoping to only pull in customers that share their beliefs? Or, are they just plain old ignorant? Anyway, the power of christ compelled me to leave.

So I went to look for a grill the one o wanted was cheaper than anywhere but didnt have in natural gas, so showed me the next model that they had in natural gas, beautiful grill, I said throw in a cover which is 80.00 he said if u put it together no problem, wow I will definitely be doing more shopping there, and put in my jeep for me wow great family place glad to do business I will tell all my friends

This is our go-to place for pond plants (and normal plants). I love their outdoor decor/lawn decorations. Ive got my eye on a cooler that looks like a wicker seat. The people working there are so nice, I always find myself conversing with someone. And a man there helped carry the plants to our car. Completely helpful staff.

We purchased two wreaths for Christmas. One of the wreaths had a short in the wiring causing it to work intermittently. Tried to get them to replace it two weeks later and Q gardens would not stand behind the product. Instead they choose to blame the customer. Beware of their handwritten policy not to accept returns. In our case that also meant not to exchange a defective product. It was not an expensive lesson but one that a spoke clearly to us about Q gardens way of doing business. We will still support small business whenever possible, just not here. Heading to Treeland now to purchase a replacement. Hope this helps others not to make the same mistake.

While I have not been here... My friend Stevie has and he redid his whole backyard and garden beds through these guys.. said prices and availability great.. right now his backyard is looking awesome.. he gave the stars . I wrote the article.. I only stay here half the year.. I live in ft. Lauderdale.. one happy camper.. he says thanks to the guys😀😎

The place looks like a dump and there is absolutely no customer service...maybe its better in the begining of the season, but if this is what it looks like now I would just close in August.

Fantastic service. I purchased a Weber Grill set up for natural gas. They assembled it for me then when I got it home and installed it, the igniter failed. So I called the store and within 10 minutes Bob Jr. called me right back and offered to come by the house and fix it instead of me having to take the grill all the way back to his store. I was so impressed with the service I actually went back to thank them. So I just purchased a new Teak Table, Chairs and chest. I cant wait to have it delivered tomorrow. I would absolutely recommend this store to any of my friends. I will follow up tomorrow after my delivery! I will never go back to Any other store for my outdoor needs. Love supporting locally owned businesses. Its not easy to make a living with national owned chain stores with poor service and cheap products. And damn sure not buying a teak outdoor furniture set on line and deal with broken products due to poorly handled freight. Thank you to everyone at Q Gardens!

My fiancee purchased me a Big Green Egg for Christmas from Q-Gardens, which was missing some parts from a factory sealed box. Bob was kind enough to get a whole new BGE from the factory (with the updated improved hinge), and drove it to the house. He dropped it off and hauled the other one off, no questions asked. Top notch service, thanks to everyone at Q-Gardens, especially Bob!

I walked through Q-Gardens and fell in love with three separate outdoor patio items. A cast aluminum table and chair set, a wicker sectional with a coffee table and a side table, and four cast aluminum chairs for around my fire pit. Very pricy, but beautiful and sturdy. The first delivery of the table and chairs obviously were not new, just straight off the owners display lot! Pointed that out to the very nice delivery guys, and a new table set was delivered the next day. Then my wicker sectional was delivered with bird poop, scratched sliders, broken wicker pieces, and stained cushions! I walked in and called the owner out on it! He denied it was from the lot and that it was new because he had ordered it! The conversation got a little heated because I paid full price for a damaged floor model. The owner said there was nothing he could do. I said I was calling the police to file a report because I have my receipt, pictures, and surveillance cameras to prove nothing was delivered wrapped or boxed to represent it being new merchandise! Meanwhile, one of his employees stepped in and admitted the furniture was from the lot and he, the owner, needs to make it right with me! Once again, a NEW wicker sectional set was delivered the very next day by the owners son! He was very apologetic! Nice guy! So, I made a request for my cast aluminum chairs for my fire pit to be delivered fully wrapped and to be opened in front of me. The chairs were perfect, but, unfortunately, the owner had ordered the wrong colored cushions. I reminded him that after spending over $10,000 and having three bad experiences, I dont know why I am still giving him my business! He apologized to me and thanked me for being such a nice and patient customer. He also told me to use the cushions until the new correct color ones came in. So, I did! In the long run, everything was resolved, and I am very happy with all of my purchases. I get lots of compliments! I hope this review can be helpful to past and future customers. Maybe you can learn a lesson from me...if you pay full price, make sure the merchandise is delivered wrapped up!

I have bought several things from Q Gardens including furniture, umbrellas, and furniture covers. In the past few years I have spent several thousands with them. However, they are the RUDEST people I have ever encountered. They make you feel like you are inconveniencing them with your business. They are also quite pricey, but are conveniently located and always have what I am looking for. With that said, I will be going out of my way in the future for my outdoor needs. This last time I went in, my husband and I spent $1,600 on 3 umbrellas. When we returned home they did not match the other umbrellas we bought from them last year. The next day we went to exchange them for the correct color and were given a VERY hard time. They were beyond rude and were practically refusing to exchange the items that had never been used and in fact only one was even taken out of the box.It is too bad as this is a small family owned store that has been around for a long time. I would much rather support a business like this and have tried for many years, but cannot reasonably spend my money in a place that does not appreciate my business.

STAY AWAY!!! Q-Gardens has the WORST Customer Service!Today I visited this nursery for the first time & was admonished for not knowing it was a family owned business by an elderly man behind the counter.I wanted to buy a rose bush & every single one they had was dry as a bone, with dead blooms that looked like burnt marshmallows! I actually asked an employee to water the poor things.When I told the elderly man working at the counter that his roses were dying; I was met with a RUDE attitude & a dismissive indifference. How does this place stay in business?I would have bought a Mr. Lincoln rose bush today if I had simply been treated with courtesy & kindness.DONT GO!!

We recently purchased a Kingsley-Bate teak outdoor dining set along with four adirondack chairs from Q Gardens in Milford, CT. The price was right and we found exactly what we were looking for during our first visit. We dealt with Joe and Jim at the store and Bobby for the delivery. Overall, we had a great experience and we truly enjoy our new furniture.

Im sorry I missed these reviews- would have saved a lot of grief. I spent $3000 for USED furniture! Dirty cushions and I was told I got a NEW set & a good deal! Offered new cushions after I told him I will post a review, then cushions were never delivered! When questioned again about the cushions he said he didnt remember, said he would look into and get back to us--he never did. Looking over other reviews listed here this shows who they are. Clearly not a misunderstanding -- steer clear!!

We ordered a dining set and seating set and we had a great experience. Furniture is gorgeous, delivery was great and everyone at the store that I spoke with was friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend this store!!

Absolutely the worst place Ive been. Their prices are not posted on anything outside and drastically change from one day to the next even when you ask the same person. When questioned about it, the answer is sorry you werent paying attention. They are rude beyond belief and disrespectful to their customers. Stay away.

Q-Gardens is my go to place for grass seed, lawn fertilizer, garden supplies(fertilizers/specialty products), etc. They have everything you need that you cant find at the box stores. Must visit to appreciate.

This place is terrible. Had an issue with an artificial christmas tree we bought there. Got it home, it didnt work. Brought it back, they didnt have another new one in stock. Forced to take floor model display. That is fine but I watched them between yesterday and today discount display trees sold. Guy lied tight to my wifes face saying they dont do that. Guess what, you do, saw it first hand. Willnever shop there again and I will do my best to make sure that anyone I know doesnt shop there either. Not a good way to run a busisness. One star is really too high for this place

I will NEVER be returning here after the RUDE service these miserable people have to offer. After spending a fortune on christmas gifts, the old couple working couldnt have been more ungrateful if they tried. They followed my shadow around the store like I was some kind of scumbag ready to stick all of their wares in my jacket. The old man behind the counter literally threw my debit card back at me and couldnt be bothered to say thank you or anything along those lines. Its a complete mystery how these terrible people are still in business.

This was my first time there and spanish guy was really a sales person. I felt like i was either in dating market or car market.Well first he asked what i was looking for and after i told him. He then asked how much im willing to spend??? Why u ask that?He then kept asked me personal questions : am i married ? Do i have bros and sis? Whats my nationality? And after i said im not married, Spanish guy said oh come on! Like he didnt believe i wasnt married. He also said ...dont think too much on what religious statue to get.He kept pressuring me to buy by saying...why dont u get one and come back for the other piece? The other guy at cashier will give u good deal. I felt very uncomfortable when he asked me personal stuff about me.And i agree with the other person that did the review..items are overly priced. I understand like mother mary, st francisco and all religious statues are expensive coz they are made of cement. I bought statue 14 inches mary and jesus both of them under the price thats given here. I purchased dining set : glass square table and 2 chairs under $100.Some places are $160, some places $90, here its $200 plus.As soon as spanish guy as talking to other customers i dashed out to my car and drove off. At least, the owner, i think the owner is the cashier, he was nice and respectful and helpful.

Very pricey

There is a guy that works there who is extremely rude. He comes off as a little slow so I felt bad for arguing with him. Im in your store planning on spending over a thousand dollars on something and he is arguing with me about the price. I was wondering why its $200 more expensive than whats listed on the companys website. He immediately gets an attitude and says if you dont like it too bad. Those are our prices.Extremely rude. Go anywhere but this hell hole

The owner was extremely rude when asked for help. He was disciminatory and made derogatory comments. Will NEVER return and suggest no one else bother to give them business either.

Rude customer service. When the first salesman walks up to you with a cigarette and coffee in hand you know youre in for a whopper of a shopping experience.
