Great prices for good food. Look for the special sales through the store. Prices are good anyway. Remember to bring your bags & bring your quarter for the cart (its a small price to pay for the safety of your car) The employees at this location have always been more than helpful! The male manager especially. He is always helpful and courteous. I have even witnessed him carrying groceries for a disabled woman. (Chivalry is NOT dead)

Store brands are exceptional. If you need eggs for baking theirs are the freshest. There stock rotates quickly. Milk shelf life exceeds date by use by a good week. Prices are really good. Sales are great.

Great prices and selection of foods are getting better. Sales on the meat are fantastic. Meat looks excellent in packaging and cuts of meat are cut for small or large families. Nice red color.

I travel all the way from Dover because there is no other store, let alone any store like save a lot. Good prices. Good food.

Eclectic mix of basic, inexpensive stock. Semi-warehouse layout. Limited variety. Caters to Latin and diverse other local minorities. Fresh meats from local sources. Staff skill levels vary, but always friendly and helpful. More like a huge bodega than a supermarket. Well worth a regular visit.

I enjoy this save.a.lot. personable employees and stocked shelves. Fresh veggies 95% of time and great meat that crushes other store prices.Dover sav.a.lot closed.It was always being repaired at freezer and frankly scuzzy.I am shore LIDL had an effect on their future spread sheets.

This is hands down the cheapest place to buy meats. The almost always have nice rib eyes or T-bones for around 6 bucks a pound.

The cashier Pete is very rude and has no respect for customers and should be fired

I usually dont shop here because the store up to this point was very cluttered, dirty, and the coolers were nasty. To be honest I was afraid of disease and cockroaches. BUT, I went there yesterday and got the shock of my life, the store looked AWESOME!! There is still more to be done but this store looks like it finally has a manager and crew that cares. I was impressed and had no problem completing my shopping there. Way to go people, keep up the great work!!!

Save-A-Lot is my go-to grocery store for kitchen staples and meats when needing groceries. The prices are very reasonable, and you must bring your own bags or purchase plastic bags on site, but the savings are passed along to the customer that way. The produce section at the Milford, DE location is small, but the meat section more than makes up for it, in value, anyway. There is a nice bakery shelf, and the Crown Creamery line of ice cream cant be beat. The frozen orange juice concentrate has the lowest price of any competitor without compromising taste in any way. The frozen food section is my favorite, where values abound. Highly recommended!

The staff here is always very kind and courteous and I have never left the store without a smile on a face! A very nice general selection, however produce could use an improvement but they do very well with the space the have to work with so I decided they are worthy of 5 stars.

How are you suppose to shop with all the carts locked up. One cashier and busy. I walked around and didnt see anyone. I left. Reddners, Food Lion and Walmart dont have locked carts. I left.

We wanted to check it out we werent impressed. People that shop there arent rich yet some of the prices are terrible. Some of the products arent good for you at all why even sell it. I wont be shopping there I like Aldis better. The meat is robbing the people of there money they would be better off to go to Walmart

This Save A Lot location used to be the best for deals on meats and a friendly staff. Not so much anymore. We shop early Sunday mornings and have found the meats are not yet stocked. They tell you to come back later in the day, so off to Walmart and back again to Save A Lot to pick up meats. Still limited meats out on the shelves and the sale items (meats) are no where to be found. Reported this to the company and they said they would speak to the manager. This was about six months ago, no change. Unfortunately this store is no longer the go to place for great deals on meats. Heading to the butcher and BJs instead. :(

Helpful staff but please, if you wanna work. Turn your light on for your counter. Six people on one line ..you are open but no one knows it because your light is out

Okay I get it they charge for plastic bags but when the person working the checkout decides to play favorites and hand out bags for free to 3 other customers and then make up some fake price saying bags are 30 cents each when it is my turn. Poor customer service, the produce was less than satisfactory. I will be shopping at Walmart as usual from now on. It was my first and last time at a save a lot store and I am willing to pay more at Walmart so I get treated with the respect I deserve as a customer.
