I must say it was a quite pleasant visit. To my surprise. I thought the prices would be outrageous but in the contrary it is not. Especially for what you get. The food produce and baked goods were quite impressive I bought some organic grapes which are absolutely delicious and a pretty very reasonable price better than the big box supermarkets. They also are tied in with Amazon . Somehow you show your Amazon number or code Im not sure but you still get a discount of the sale items I guess. The store is very clean they provide by the CDC rules of the pairs and it was a pleasant visit. I will definitely go back now I know that the pricing is quite reasonable and all the food is very fresh
Im not a regular shopper at Whole Foods and I didnt find what I was looking for, but I did get something else. The store itself is very clean and organized and they opened up right at 8 am. I liked that.
Good place for fresh veggies and fruits. Good seafood and beef. No good selection of chicken. You cant get chicken by the pound only packaged. Nice bakery, cookies and cakes. The selection for prepared food is wide and international. Otherwise you cant buy basic stuff here like other supermarkets.
The service I received today from the young man at the bakery was top notch. He was so helpful in making sure the birthday cake was exactly what I wanted. I appreciated his patience and time…. Thank you very much.
The meat and seafood are great but most other boxed items are processed just like the regular food store so what is the difference as far as health goes !!
I had a gift certificate for this place otherwise I dont believe I would have went there. It has a big selection of fresh fruit but it just not my cup of tea.
Like the rest of new haven this place drips with apathy. People working there are nice but half the people shopping don’t wear masks and the produce is rarely ever fresh, it’s often wilted, assuming it’s stocked in a timely manner.
At our last visit, we were warmly greeted by a very nice customer service rep named Daniela. They also have delicious prepared foods to go!
Love their Strawberry short cake. We place a order every time we have parties. I have spread the word.
Huge lines to get in even when unnecessary! Welcome to the Amazon/whole food warehouse — where they allow limited in person shopping. They seem much more interested in fulfilling home deliver orders. Too bad. Was a pleasant place to shop at one time.
Enjoyable place to shop. Prices are decent compared to other stores. Great place to find healthier alternative for many types of food.
I love this market. I will travel from Stratford to shop.
Had all the dair free cheeses i needed plus some.
Still no inside seating and buffet. Too many shoppers for delivery walking around. CSh register area also has Too much computer equipment for delivery. Other whole foods far superior
Store is pretty, very nice selection of supplements and holistic meds. Also grabbed an apple pie for dessert and was extremely disappointed. Crust was overcooked and dry, apples undercooked and hard, very little flavor. Would never buy their baked goods again
Good food but pricey. They had a sale for strawberries 2 for 10 the total came out to 12.56 I asked if I got the sales price and its was. Im still not clear why. The shoppers are incredibly rude and so are the employees the do the shopping for curbside pick up. I feel like Im in times square, not a fun shopping trip more agitating then anything. Well they lost my business.
Wish Guilford Connecticut had a WHOLE FOODS MARKET!!!This place is wonderful
Excellent place for your organic foods. Fresh vegetables and fruits. Counters are wiped clean after every customer!
Trendy grocery store for Karens. They got rid of their deli seating so I had to eat my slice of Bianca pizza (ok) on a bench down the block. I dripped pizza grease on my pants. Sorry...but this is a Needless Markup joint and stuffy..And now it makes me think Im eating Amazon...
Meh! Not impressed. Honestly wish all stores were like the one in Providence Rhode Island. Or Jericho New York. They are just so over priced they should give complimentary reusable bags. They can most definitely afford to give customers free bags. Lines are long. And when your paying so much to begin with doing self check out makes no sense. Friendly staff. Wasn’t in the mood for small talk but she was nice while ringing us up. They have the cutest yellow duck clear plastic shower caps. Couldn’t help but pick one up. Ample parking in a strip of other retailers. Wish they’d put a Whole Foods in Waterford or New London. Long drive!
Very expensive. I can buy some of the same products in shoprite for 3 or 4 dollars cheaper.
I feel so lucky to live within 5 minutes away from this Whole Food in Milford. I have been coming here for years. The philosophy of Whole Food in general matches my philosophy when it comes to what to feed my family especially my kids. They did all the hard work in screening what ingredients goes in each packaging of foods they sell, whether it is a dry products, fresh products or even frozen items. I trusted Wholefood whole fully. By this year, which is 2018, they will require all vendors that doing business with them to list whether their ingredients is GMO Free or not. They will carry more GMO free items in results of these requirements, because it will force vendors to source for more GMO free ingredients, which at the end will benefits us a customer. Since Amazon bought Wholefood, they are cutting down the prices for some items, now you could get Avocados for less than $1.50 a piece. It used to cost a lot more than that. My Favorite items to buy here are the photos I captured here. Their bakery and fresh meal sections also selectively choose their ingredients that goes in their bake goods. They have freshly prepared Pizza that baked in a brick oven. They also carry a massive selections of freshly made buffet items that you can buy by the pounds. Recently they added a coffee shop counter, where you can get turmeric latte or matcha latte. I hope they keep slashing prices for more items, so more family could afford it.
As always as all whole foods markets, Milford location is a great place to shop. Just like all whole foods locations offers.
I enjoy most things I buy in Whole Foods. My contacting you today is tocompliment you on your bread selections. I usually buy 5 loaves ofyour Bread Alone Sour dough Rye and or San Francisco Sour Dough. They are beyond compare and I hope you will continue to buy them. You have some other good breads but these are the best. I have diabetes 2and since I need to limit carbs the rye especially fills the bill for meNo sugar and rye flour and sour dough are healthy for me.Thank you (Love Bilinski sausages as well as your meat counter)
Great selection of all natural foods, only con is there no ATM inside the store.
The staff here is incredibly rude. I saw a Whole Foods employee scream at an Amazon shopper because her mask fell off by accident. And when I asked for help looking for an item, another WF employee gave me an annoyed tone for simply asking a question. You cant even ask for help without being seen as a nuisance. Its gross. The environment here is so unwelcoming. Its disgusting how people can work here and treat other people so poorly with no consequences. Im never shopping here again.
Sorry not happy, I had 10 mins before class at Orange Theory next door, I go to buy seeds lettuce and more, go to counter and have to wait as they won’t scan, miss my class and cannot buy seeds as not in the system ! Are you kidding me !!!!
They are very rude the manager was very rude i recommend trader joes instead. Way better customer service way better people
Safety at its finest! Head count at the door 2-3 minute pause before entering. Definitely appreciated! Beautiful looking produce, helpful & happy associates!
The best supermarket hands down. Bit nowadays there are alot of pickers that do the shopping for online whole foods orders. The people are discourteous as they see their shopping as essential and a job and you as a customer are there with all the time in the world and are leisure shopping. Not the case! these pickers should be instructed to shop at certain times of the day. it is just unnecessary to have so many people in the store and it makes the store dirty in appearance when they are all in front of the store getting their orders ready. whole foods amazin really destroyed you premium upscale vibe. Just go to market 32 and see how clean their store looks.
I love to shop at my jewish friends stores . SHALOM. 🤘😎
When I decided to change my eating habits I chose wholefoods because you get lessons there when you shop. The staff is well versed and has information on the selections you make when making purchases as a newbie health fanatic. Prices are a bit steep but I figure Im worth it. Their produce and meats are always fresh, the store is immaculate and the staff is always cheerful and delightful . They have an app now that you can clip coupons straight to your account to get reduced pricing on alot of items that may be on your shopping list.
Shiny new Whole Foods. They do lots of online orders here. Beautiful produce section.
Fresh hot food and great customer service
I love that they limit the people in store during this pandemic. It makes me feel a lot safer. The line also goes pretty quickly.
Nicely organized, polite staff, aways fresh and tasty stuff. Love shopping there
Maybe not as big or diverse as some Whole Foods I have been to but I cant fault it for quality and shopping experience.
Great store so many healthy food choices and alternatives. Best cheese cake alternative also.
If you ever get a flat tire & think that Whole Foods is a safe place to wait for Roadside Assistance, think again. I look over & not one but two dudes begin walking in my direction. I say Yes? Multiple times & they say nothing & instead turn around, walk back & sit in their truck/jeep. As far as Im concerned they are douchebags because if someone asks you a question, wouldnt you answer? Ot seems they could be the owners of the store because after they sit in their vehicle, they go into the store. Creepy as hell.
Love the organic variety!
Nice variety of items and some you can’t find anywhere else!
Store was organized and the product was fronted.. If you have never been there I would check them out.. Good store plan and product selectivity was smartly presented... The staff was friendly and quite organized.. Produce looked very fresh across the board.. Well it is worth a see and you may leave with a full cart..🔤😀🐟🐡
Convenient and clean. Had what I needed and somethings I wanted.
Very well organized and efficient inside and out. Their employees are well trained to help and maintain a steady flow.
Quite frankly, Ive had better sandwiches from gas stations. Really! So yesterday partner and I needed a bite on the road and opted for WF figuring we could get a range of options. He (wisely, I think..) got a slice (to go - theres no in-store seating, dining here now...) and I opted for a chicken salad sandwich. Got in the car, took a bite and thought, hmm. Uh, no flavor, seemingly no mayo. Kept eating since I was really hungry and kept wondering how chicken salad could be so BAD. Halfway through I look again at the label - a green (dark) circle says Vegan. Vegan chicken salad. Well, interesting. First of all the chicken salad sandwich label is large, and the Vegan designation is in different type, smaller, in a dark green background. VERY easy to miss when the sandwich blares chicken salad sandwich. Why not label it Vegan chicken salad sandwich or something, all in the same type, color and line? To top it off it was something like $7 (the tab for it, the slice and a 59 cent bottle of water was nearly $12). I would have brought it back in for refund or swap, but had already waited 10 minutes in the cold in their line for entry. Experiences like this make me think WF is a joke, and not a good one. Yet people continue to flock there. This Prime member is going to think twice next time for sure!EDIT/FOLLOWUP: SHORTLY AFTER MY INITIAL REVIEW THE MANAGER, OR A MANAGER, RESPONDED. IT TOOK A BIT OF EFFORT, BUT I DID GET A REFUND. I DOUBT THEYVE CHANGED THEIR PACKAGING/LABELING, SOMEHOW, BUT THEY DID DO RIGHT BY ME IN THE END. ADDED 1 STAR
Its okay I was disappointed with the fish department.
WAY too many people inside - you can barely walk without bumping into other people, let alone keep your distance. Left on the verge of a panic attack - couldnt find what I was looking for anyway as there were so many people I couldnt see the shelves.
I’m there every day and the coffee bar is closed quite a bit. This is one of the smallest Whole Foods I’ve ever been to. I see workers standing around. Cmon guys get it together with the coffee station.
Love whole foods, although its very different since amazon bought it and due to covid-19. I used to work here in the meat department, the environment was/is still cool. This whole foods in particular is pretty small compared to fairfield but its still a good one.
Store has become trashy lately. Feels like an Amazon warehouse, with more employees filling orders than regular customers. Has lost that whole foods shopping experience.
Amazing Service welcoming staff clean environment
Best place for getting healthy foods and organices and theres pizza is amazing beautiful fresh 😊😀💕💞❤️😍
Smaller than most Whole Foods I’ve been to. Line to get in during COVID can sometimes be a bit lengthy. Manager of the cheese section has been very helpful, we’ve enjoyed trying a lot of the regional cheeses we have never seen before.
Every time I go in into Wholefoods the staff is wonderful and very friendly. The store is very clean everything is very well stacked from the produce to the meat, shelves, and food bar area always neat and clean. The prices are good to . Love this store! Keep up the great work Employees!!!
First time visiting this store, was a bit pricey. I was happy to find scallops, I have been waiting them for a while. I also saw different kinds of sweet potatoes cant wait to see if there is any different between them. Also they give a discount for prime membership if item you purchase are on sale. I like that would be good if it was on your whole purchases.
Super convenient for a quick takeout lunch. Lots of great shopping in the same mall.
It’s perfect yet the only downside is the lack of quick restock of some items. In many occasions it takes days to be shelved again (even pre-pandemic). An issue that I didn’t encounter in other nearby locations.
Very crowded right now. Generally well run store with great selection of organic produce, meat, poultry and cheese
First time at this location; Nice selection throughout the store.
Clean and nice place to shop
My wife went in and had no issues. I was waiting in the car and saw a number of cars park in spots designated for EVs despite not being EVs.
Milford CT location needs to put vegan cheese on their pizza/calzone like Glastonbury and East Hartford do
A small version of Whole Foods. Dont expect a full inventory of dry goods. Excellent customer service. Temporary prepared foods service by handlers. They fill your order by request.
This is a pretty decent Whole Foods. Not as large as the bigger ones, but has fish and meat departments that are quite good (but not crazy good since they are smaller). The selection of hot foods and pizza is good, and the bakery has good fresh bread. The pastry shop is decent and has good cakes that are fresh but could use a bit more selection. Overall, a very good place to shop: I got there twice a week every week.
Always clean. Shop early because the produce section gets empty quickly.
Nice fresh produce but expensive compared to Trader Joes which is nearby.
The store is clean and usually well stocked. Shop during off times, after 8 PM preferably since the local shoppers have the New York attitude of rushing through no matter what is in their way. Late night crew and crowd much easier to bear.
It is a great store. So much fresh organic food.
Great! Loved shopping there. Even though the cost might be more you feel more at ease consuming items in your body from here than other places
Great selection but they need to enforce mask rules. Lots of open noses.
Love their products and variety of foods ready to eat.
Clean safe loved it. Great variety
Very nice clean store they have almost anything you could need. Lovely and a bit pricey.
I love whole foods market. My favorite part is that I can fill up my little box with a whole bunch of yummy stuff for lunch or dinner grab a table and indulge to my hearts content. The food bar is incredible from fruit to Indian food and everything in between. This is the place to eat if you are not eating at home. Everything is so fresh and tasty. What needs to be hot is hot and what needs to be cold is cold. Wonderful place!
Friendly service
Very safe and clean during this COVID-19 pandemic. Staff is very friendly and understanding of the rules of the covid-19 pandemic. Line to enter the store is safe and easy. Last but not least, the food is great, local, and priced fairly.
Whole foods has great sales prices. Use your store APP and always buy the stores brands. I love the store made sushi, I think its well priced for the quality. I care about sustainable sourced seafood, it cost more, so that hopefully humanity will not collapse wild fish populations. Purchasing seafood from sustainable companies is a vote for a future. The bakery is nice. The produce is exceptional all year long. I spend more on their quality fruit and veggies but I save more because I waste less. I always bring a list, but the impulse buys are the most fun. The checkout lines are always fast. I dont buy the pricey prepared foods. In a nutshell I go because of the nut butter machine, fresh peanut butter and almond butter are worth the trip alone and the large bulk section is unbeatable. I love buying bulk food. I visit mostly for bulk food, exceptional produce, DIY nut butter, store brands, sushi and sustain-ably sourced food.
Nice Location!
Starting to be disappointed in the selection such a shame this store used to be great
One of the biggest and cleanest whole foods!
Staff is always polite and helpful. Good variety of healthy foods. Fair prices.
Excellent service
Very fresh produce, good selection of hard to find items
I love the fresh produce meat and fish. No need to sort through the veggies they have already been culled. All good. The salad bar/buffet is really diverse and healthy. A go to vegan/ vegitarian food lunch stop.
Long lines and extremely rude staff. The guys at the meat counter were especially rude and neglectful.
I am Impressed!!! I have not ever been to a Whole Foods store. No I dont live under a rock! Just hadnt had the chance. We walked the entire store. I didnt see a crumb, grain of sand, or debris on the floor, even tucked under/near the shelf units! You could actually smell the cooked and cooking foods across the entire store. What you didnt smell was, old food not properly cleaned up, or dirty water used to wash the floors. And the food bars!! Oh my goodness!! It was like a restaurant!!! The variety was astounding!! From the breads to salad bar to soup, the actual entrees and then dessert!! Wow!!!!
Great food and selections. Love the bakery and lunch bars but should change name to Whole Paycheck. So expensive
What can you say about Whole Foods, theyre selection is great. The store is clean. The workers are courteous and the service is quick. My wife and I came in for a bite and we were pleased as always. Had a wonderful conversation with our cashier which is part the course when coming to this Whole Foods.
If you are looking for sustainably sourced seafood or exceptional produce you will find it here all year long. But shop carefully or you will be hit with sticker shock. Check for sales; best buys tend to happen on the weekend. Come with a list. Eat beforehand. Purchase the store label 365 brand whenever possible. If you use the Whole Foods app check your receipt to make sure all the coupons have been applied to your purchases; this does not always happen. This store and its restrooms are always neat and clean. The manager makes sure the checkout lines don’t get too long. The prepared foods are amazing but really pricey.
Everyone respected each others space
Their vegetables are the best; fresh and flavorful.
Great selection of good food and an incredibly happy and friendly staff. Shopping here is always a nice experience.
