I have been getting my oil changes from Honda of Milford for my last few oil changes. I never had any issues until the last one. I always appreciated the cost and service was usually pleasant.My last oil change was on August 13th, 2021. On September 10th, I was driving like usual on local roads. The red oil sign you can see on my dash started to flicker. After waiting for some time and shutting my car off, I started it again and the sign was still. It was my oil. It was leaking as you can see in the picture.I assumed for 2 days as I tried to get my car towed that I may have hit something and busted the oil pan. A professional mechanic informed me that the oil pan was NOT impacted/leaking. However, the oil bolt was stripped and fell off the pan. He informed me the last person that did my oil change (Honda of Milford) stripped it.An individual that also works for Honda informed me that most likely this is correct.After contacting Honda of Milford to inform them of what happened. I spoke to service manager JOE RICCIO. This is where I lost complete respect for this dealership. I dont understand how they can employ such a non-sympathetic individual that has no customer service skillset whatsoever. After telling him the whole story, he said the only thing they can do is check my car to make sure everything is okay. He was not willing for one second to accept a possibility that someone from his dealership made a mistake.You might ask, why didnt I take my car to them to get it checked? Do you really think after this terrible experience with the service manager AND knowing that my oil spilled out of my car after they are the last ones that touched it - that I would want them touching it again? And do you think they would EVER take responsibility for it?? NEVER. That is the corruption and disappointment you will experience with a dealership like this.The last thing he said to me on the phone was to call 911 and my lawyer! How despicable. Is this how Honda treats their customers?I spoke to a lawyer and Honda corporate twice. The proper complaints were filed.God forbid if this happened to someone while driving on the highway or if it were a much older person, it would be a nightmare. Also, I caught the mistake in time. If the car was running any longer than it was, the engine could have messed up significantly.AVOID this dealership at ALL costs for your service needs!!!

Brendan went above and beyond to get me a lease deal that suited my needs, gave me the max value for my trade in, and answered all my questions patiently. Great service staff as well - Bob helped me figure out the cause of a strange dash error and did extra tests to make sure the car was running smoothly. Everyone is very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful, and they love dogs. My pup got lots of love and treats during the wait.

I had a great experience with buying a car here. I had surgery on my ankle and everyone was very accommodating with helping me move around. Our salesperson was great. He was human and to me that means a lot. I have bought many cars and he wasnt pushy or trying to sell me stuff we didnt need. He was friendly and gave us tons of places to visit in CT. I would definitely buy a car from them again and that may be soon as my 18 year old is looking to buy a car. We are a Honda family and love their cars and now Honda of Milford is a part of my family.

If you are in the market to buy a new car, youd probably be shopping around different dealership to get the best deals and promos. Stop wasting your time and just go to Honda of Milford. They may not be the most enthusiastic let-me-sell-this-car-to-you type of salesperson, but they are the most transparent, no surprise added fees, and helpful honda dealership around the area. Honestly i’m not a fan of Dealerships, it takes forever to make a good deal, the paper work, even trade in with cars. I have been to numerous places.BUT I have to say Honda of Milford was the best experience. Everyone was super nice and well organized. I didn’t have to wait for my appointment. Always right on time. Brendan asked me what I was looking for, going through the payment plans, all the options and going through all the details. So nothing was left out, laid out all the options for me. And was able to answer all the questions I had. Just super nice and friendly. Even finalizing the paperwork with finance was great. Honestly no complaints.They also get an extra star because they have the most adorable Australian shepherd mini. But yea, everyone was super kind, answered all of my questions and concerns!

If youve had the unfortunate experience of working with the service department of this dealership, you have my sympathy. I have recently, as an out-of-stater who had the misfortune of dropping a clutch nearby.Be forewarned: you will be held over a barrel and your wallet will be bled. You will be lied to and you will be gaslighted. You will be charged an extraordinary amount of money for restocking fees for parts you never authorized ordering. Stay away.

When I leased my car in 2019, there were no issues, great service & I left a satisfied customer. Every time I have gotten my car serviced at Honda of Milford, there’s something else wrong when I leave. I don’t know if when I drop of my car, that anyone actually does any work because I constantly have to go back after just about every service because my tires have too much or too little air after they rotated them, they claimed to have replaced my fuel pump due to a recall which would typically cause the car to take a while to start, & when I picked up my car it was worse. I don’t know how everyone else gets treated better. I like having a reliable car and it’s not fair if someone keeps messing with it when I am paying all this $$ for service & the car itself. Don’t get me wrong everyone is kind in there, but something just isn’t right & I want to get down to it. Either fire the mechanics who can’t do their job right or actually fix the car if it’s not really getting fixed when I drop it off.

My wife and I were happy with the treatment and professionalism we received at Milford Honda. Josue Rolon our salesman was pleasant and knowledgeable and was able to put us in a brand new Accord. We were pleased with our purchase and even my mother in law said she might be in the market for a new car soon. She was also impressed by Josue and will ask specifically for him when shes ready. She has been going to that location for many years and is quite familiar with the staff in the service department which she gives an A1 rating. Hopefully in a year I too will be trading in my Versa for a new civic.

Based on my experience I would say that if youre Hispanic dont go to this place. My wife and I were helping her parents to car shop and we usually go to executive Honda in Wallingford, which is an awesome dealership by the way, but before making a final decision we looked at other places as well. Until we came across this place and found the car my mother in law wanted. To begin it seems like everybody but me noticed staff were looking at us funny. The other thing is that staff seem to get annoyed if you dont make a decision promptly and loose interest in helping you. As other reviews state they dont truly bother to show you more options once they loose interest in you. Things didnt work out trying to buy the first option and we tried the second option and once everything was ready go it turns out they dont have the title and car cant get registered. We actually needed the car at that moment so we decided not get the car and check somewhere else. As we are ready to leave we come up with a plan so we can afford to wait for the car and tell the staff we were actually want to buy it. The person helping us says OK and walk away. He comes back and tells us the car has been sold to someone else. I dont know if this was true, but it felt to my mother in law like this was just an excuse to not waste his time with us any more. Another thing is that my wife headed to the bathroom and she happened to noticed a small group in one of the offices that was mocking us. The last and must annoying thing is that we walked away empty handed. Personally it aggravates so much to have my credit score checked and not solve anything. Please save yourself the frustration and go somewhere else specially if you have trouble communicating in English. If that is the case go to Executive Honda in Wallingford and ask for Xavier. He helped us with our lease on our 2019 Pilot Touring and it was a smooth transaction.

Wonderful experience at Honda of Milford! Leasing or financing a new car can be a very difficult decision, with many concerns. Sales Manager Manny was there to put my concerns to rest by providing an answer to all of my questions.I walked into Honda of Milford with two specific options for a new car, Sales Manager Manny first question to me was, “Did you test drive any of the two cars?” My reply was no! Manny then stated “I want you to test drive the vehicles, and then we will precede. I will never let a customer purchase a car without test driving it! Putting my best interest from the start!After I made my selection, I informed Manny I wanted the vehicle in a specific color, which unfortunately they did not have in stock at Honda of Milford. Thankfully, Manny was able to contact another Honda dealer and have the specific vehicle delivered.Manny and Luigi made this experience a great one! My husband will be returning soon to purchase his car.

Couple of good eggs in service, rest are hacks! My 2006 Odyssey started to lose an engine splash.....brought it in to Courtney Honda, now Honda of Milford. The little advisor with the mustache.....quoted me a price of $350.00 to repair. I said let me think on it! Found the part for less than $50.00 online, however, car was going in to another mechanic for repairs, he said all it needed were the clips to put the splash back in place. Yeah, I would look elsewhere. I did ! Stopped bringing my Accord and Odyssey to this place in 20018.

Glad the used car manager was so rude to not be willing to talk price from 18k on the used Honda Civic, all that rudeness and the car is still sitting on the lot I drive by on my way home everyday. Looked up the price for fun today and noticed they dropped it 2,353 dollars. Not a very friendly dealership. Would suggest going to one of the many other Honda dealerships in ct.

I contacted the service department on Thursday and was told there were available appointments for Monday. Mike also explained that I could drop the car off and it could possibly be looked at on Friday. I get a call Friday afternoon & was told by Mike that my car would need a closer look on Monday. Monday comes and pretty much goes with no update I called a few times to be told it hasnt been looked at and they will do their best no time frame provided and I explained I was paying $72 a day for a rental and needed a more concrete answer to no avail.I pick the car up and take it to Acura in Milford who was booking a week out for appointments. I bring the car in and within 1.5 hours my car was diagnosed and I had an answer to what the next steps needed to be.Called today to speak with the service manager Joe who compared appointments with Acura and said they give preferential treatment to loyal customers. Wow... Okay never heard that one before. So if you arent a preferred customer you arent getting good service! 😉First and last HondaUpdate & Correction to the response from the owner.1. I did not drop my car off and ask anyone to fix it as I was told there were available appointments for Monday morning. It was 345pm when I picked my car up and was told good luck this is going to be a very involved job.2. It was not a check engine light.3. Acura did not recommend that I bring it to Honda it was someone else.4. Acura did in fact diagnos the problem and the car needed to be taken to Honda for the update.5. How would Joe know that Acura makes 10 appointments a days versus the 250 he makes a day. And what was the point in comparison.Maybe contacting the customer by phone versus replying to a review would have been a better way to prove a more positive update.

We purchased a 2021 Honda Odyssey. My first contact, Nicholas was friendly and didnt pressure me to make and immediate appointment which some other Honda dealers did. He called on the day I said I would be ready to make an appointment. The sales person, Josh was though and worked with us to make a deal for a Obsidian Blue, we would have liked a red car but none were available. Josh and Manny made us a deal that was good and we accepted. I did not feel pressured at all. It was one of the best car buying experiences we have had!

I just bought my first car at Honda of Milford and it went great. I test drove the CR-V, loved it, and then was able to negotiate a great deal for it. Mark was very nice, when he had to go ask about a price he was super quick and came back with good news. The paperwork was all very straightforward and they did not try and push any extra costs onto me like warranty which was a relief. Overall buying experience was a 10/10!

Richard at Honda was the greatest and so helpful, his level of patience and professionalism was outstanding, he made me feel so welcomed and even acknowledged my work as a first responder. Thank you to everyone for your instrumental help in allowing me to drive away with my certified preowned 2017 Honda accord. Excellent customer service. Manny Costas and Mark Mcgorry made the lease deal seamless for us. Majority of the work was done by Mark and Manny prior to pick up. On signing day, we were in and out of Honda in less than 2 hours. This included reviewing and signing all paperwork, contracts and having remote starters installed on both cars. By far, the easiest car purchase Ive ever made.

My husband and I purchased 2 Honda CRVs a week apart and love them both. Took one of them on a break-in trip to the Cape this week and so enjoyed the ride. I had to change brake fluid. Bob was very helpful in taking care of it in very short time without an appointment. Used service special for fluid change and was very cost effective. Also he checked the brakes and suggested my front brakes will need service soon.

I cant say enough positive things about this place. Im on my third Honda and buying it was the most pleasant experience. I had Ed, who I happened to get transferred to when I called because I saw a car I wanted to upgrade to. We set up an appointment for the next day and I was in my new car by the afternoon. The entire experience was great. Ed went above and beyond what a usual salesman does, by even looking for my beach sticker when I realized I left it on my old car, and making sure both key fobs had new batteries. When my appointment was made to replace front tires on my car -he made sure I had a ride home.When the car was ready and I needed to wait for a family member to get home to drive me there ( due to needing a car seat) - Ed actually drove it to my house so I would not be without my car for any longer than I had to be. Thanks for the great experience Ed! I know I wasnt your only customer that day or this week- but your remarkable customer service skills made me feel like I was. You truly know how to treat a customer.The guys in service were also wonderful. Yes they are busy, but you are treated with respect and fairness.

Wonderful service. My sales rep Stephen Courtney went above and beyond on his customer service. I sold my honda crv to this place. He provided a personal ride back to my house which is 20 minutes away with a smile on his face. Everytime I asked for documents that I needed to show proof the car wasnt owned by me any more; he was speedy with providing me with them. I will definitely be buying a future car from him at this place. Very personable.

I had a Honda for 17 yrs. I had a recall on my a couple of years ago. I went to the Honda dealership to have it fixed. I walked the lot just browsing. I met a sales person Ron who left a big impression on me. He told me to keep my car . I didn’t need a new one. This coming from a salesman. Recently I was looking at cars. My heart was with getting a Honda again. My brother in law knew a sales person at Honda so I met with him. I asked about Ron but he retired. I only wanted to test drive some cars. Mark set it up. I called back a week later and asked to test drive the cars again. Afterwards we ended up sitting down and I bought myself a Car. I am very pleased with what I bought. Everyone was nice and helpful. If your looking for car and good service I recommend this Honda of Milford.

We first called ahead inquiring about what options were available and indicated that we would be in the following week. I was impressed that I didnt receive a pushy phone call urging me to come in! When I called for an appointment, my salesman was Zack, a very nice young man who was knowledgeable, not pushy instead thoughtful and considerate. We ended up with a beautiful shiny metallic red CRV. Previous 2018 car was an HRV, which we loved. We are happy now to have a car with so many safety features, as well as a stunning interior design. I appreciated how Manny wrote out the three options of deposits and payments allowing time to decide.
