It specializes in gelato, but has so much more. Strawberry was great, the brownies were fantastic. It was a hot day for me to order coffee, but I will definitely come here regularly for the coffee when the weather turns. It has a little bit of everything.

Ive only been to the cafe a few times and plan to go more. The drinks are fantastic along with the delicious savory sandwiches & crepini. Personally i like to get the white chocolate mocha.They have great customer service, always engaging with customers while making the order. I got to meet the owner and he is nice. Definitely will come here again!!!!!!

Very cute interior, plenty of parking. Very nice barista and my latte with whole milk and two pumps of vanilla was delicious! Would definitely come here again.

They asked if I want avocado or cream cheese for my smocked salmon sandwich. I choose avocado. Turns out, they were putting spicy guacamole, instead. I have to throw the whole thing away, it was terrible and ruined the taste of the salmon completely. Also, the whole sandwich was a tick pieces of bread, and not chiabatta, as they promised, guacamole and 2 small pieces of salmon. I am not gonna go there again. Pictures looks nice, but the inside is not that good.

This is my new favorite hang out and homework spot. I cannot get over the nicest baristas, Lauryn and Kathleen. This cafe does it all in a timely manner, the baristas are talented and kind, and is just beautiful inside.

I do not usually leave reviews, but definitely need to place a wonderful review for these genuine folks. I cannot give this place enough praise. Good job thus far. Owners and staff are caring. And the drink/food items are all very tasty to say the least. A+!

I have only ordered in, but the food/drink is so good! Very reasonably priced, always still warm, and absolutely delicious. I cant wait until covid is over and I can go in regularly. Ill never go back to Starbucks for my chai tea lattes again!

If you’re used to traditional craft coffee or espresso, this is not good. If I’m rating the coffee, I would do 2-2.5 stars.Desserts are fantastic with exceptional presentation. Food is typical coffeehouse food with paninis bagels and such. Bagels are locally sourced ‘Blazing Bagels,’ which I’m a big fan of. Also offers a small selection of beer and wine.Quite frankly, the main draw that keeps me coming back (as well as 4stars) for me is the space. Lots of open table space with outdoor seating as well. It’s not as busy as any of the neighboring coffee shops, so if you’re wanting to get some work done or have some quiet time to get away, this is a great space.Also has a meeting room, but I believe it requires a reservation and a minimum $20 purchase limit to use it.

Stopped in for a double affogato. Their gelato selection was great. Had the espresso chip with my double espresso poured on top. Very delicious. Will be back for sure. Cant wait to bring my brother here who loves affogato.

The person making coffee and food in the morning isnt wearing a mask. When I come in she quickly puts it on but people should know their food and drinks and getting her germs and breath all over them.

There is not enough words to describe how much my partner and I love the Newsroom. First off, the drinks and food are SO good. We have become suckers for the lotus drinks, but were also big fans of the chai tea lattes, which are MUCH better than Starbucks. The pizza bagel is also a house favorite, not to mention basically every sandwich. We even tried a keto crepini, even though neither of us are keto, and that was delicious. PLUS the service is incredible. They are so nice and friendly. When the pandemic is over, well probably be going here every day.

I understand Washington is an at will state-- but firing someone via email with absolutely no explanation is a pretty awful thing to do.

Wanted to have breakfast there this morning. Waited for 20 minutes to start ordering, then was told that making panini would take an hour... The barista was trying her best there, but it was too busy for her. 7 doordash orders and 1 family dining in... Poor management, 1 barista is definitely not enough for a busy morning on Saturday.

We visited for the first time for the songwriter open mic. Not only was the music well done, the entire staff was very welcoming and our desserts were excellent. Cant wait to come back. Its a gem! Friendly and inviting...

Love the ambience and decoration, but thats all this place has. The coffee was surprisingly watered down and the food was very bland.My friend ordered a chicken pesto sandwich and it was literally just pre-made diced chicken with canned pesto smothered on top. I ordered a breakfast sandwich and it was made with basic sliced lunch meat and grated cheese. You could tell it was all from bags and honestly I could have made something better with a microwave.Only one person was on shift when I was there and it took 20 mins to get my food. There were also crumbs on the tables because they werent wiped down.

No one was there when I came in, but when she did come from the back, she was kind. I ordered tea, and she added like warm water to it (you need it hot to steep lol), and the lemon poppy muffin was hard as a rock.The helpful lady at the counter did go back to get a frozen one (they were busy last night), and heated it up. Outsides were warm...center was still frozen.Maybe just an off day?

DO NOT order crepes and make sure the person in front of you did not order a crepe. Been there twice with the same guy working there. Ordered a crepe last time and he went through like 6 crepes trying to make one because kept messing up. They need to train their employees better. Also I waited like 45 minutes and ended up late to work. The second time I went there was today and we ONLY ordered drinks (2 chais and a latte) and little did we know the person before us ordered a crepe. Guy kept messing up again and we waited for an HOUR. One of the ppl we were with had to abandon his drink and leave for work bc he was running late. This whole time the worker didn’t even check in with us.

Loved the atmosphere/vibe of this place. Great place to lounge, and get some studying done. Owner/employees are very nice and helpful, in addition to a great menu of foods, desserts and coffee. Will for sure be coming back here!

Excellent little coffee shop at the base of the 164th Street Hill. Cozy and quaint. Excellent espresso done just right. I bet this place is the real cozy corner come fall and winter.

Adorable cafe with delicious drinks and desserts. They have private room rentals available for free if you want to have a quiet place to study or a dedicated board gaming space with friends.

Love this place! Drinks and gelato are excellent, and they really care about their customers. Bonus: theres a separate room where you can schedule a small group meeting without loud ambient noise from the cafe. This is really the complete package!

I wish I was joking when I saw that on my first visit there was a coca-cola fridge full of expired product, they had no gelato and only one flavor of ice-cream and the only food they had were Safeway cookies still in their plastic clamshell container.Not somewhere I recommend.

Ok folks... Hands down the BEST GELATO Ive ever had! Ive sampled and had my share of fantastic gelato from around the world... And at one point I seriously thought the best was from Eataly (Chicago/NYC). Holy smokes... who knew this crack creaminess existed in Mill Creek, Wa! 😃 Yes!This organic gelato is from a local company, DAmbrosio... amazing! Just the right amount of sweetness & creaminess, while whipped lighter without compromising the density of a true gelato. How is that possible? Kookoo for Cocoa puffs! 😜This coffee, bakery/desserts, gelato, wine, etc shop is such a great addition to the Mill Creek neighborhood! When I stopped in here there were several tables of baby boomers, genXers & millennials engulfed in their laptops... But the one thing about this cool cat scenery... Its totally quiet and not brash like how Starbucks may be at times...A must try place!! Even if its just to hang out on a lazy afternoon with your laptop!
