Im very pleased with how my new garage door motor/opener was installed. The technician arrived early for the appointment. The best part is that I wasnt required to be there. I have a two-door garage, so I was able to let him in by remotely opening the one with the motor. Everything is in working order. I would hire Polar Garage Doors again in a heartbeat.

When we bought our house the garage was not in a favorable condition but the doors still rolled up. After a hail storm, we contacted Polar Garage Doors company and they replaced them and worked around the construction and did a wonderful job! They were prompt, respectful and very proficient. They were able to make it out the same day I called and their price to replace BOTH springs was barely more than the cost of ONE for other company I called. Alex showed up when he said he would and was extremely professional and efficient. He also took the time to explain maintenance requirements and ensured we were completely satisfied.

I just had my garage door overhauled. What a great job was done! With the new belt driven opener installed, the door is so quiet and smooth. After he left I had to keep opening and closing the door. I want to start off by saying how truly disappointed I was. I called polar garage door on a Saturday to get my spring replaced on my garage door. The lady that booked my appointment stated that springs range from $50-$150. They also charge a $39 service fee. Totally understandable. Had someone come out the following day. Upon completion found out the total came out to almost $600. I contacted this company and they said who quoted the springs was new and that prices range from $150-$250. She was also shocked that the charge $255 labor cost. She was very friendly and going to email the manager and have them call me. I called back a few hours and Phil answered. Explained again what was going on. They hired a contractor named FIX and GO. Asked him why the lady said $99 labor charge and he was very abrupt and said that’s what it starts at. Explained how they break down labor cost which he could not. Then asked Phil if this contractor was listed with the BBB (shouldn’t you know) since you contracted the repair out to them. He said I don’t know you have to look that up. Phil stated that he was the Office Boy and acts as the manager. I was burned by them and own that I should have stopped the repairs before and called other people. Read the comments and loved to support local businesses. I would NEVER recommend this company or Phil. Live and let learn and remember to get a written quote from lots of companies before you get it done. My mistake and will learn from this experience.

They were able to send out a technician the same day and he was able to get it working within a very short time.He was very polite and professional.
