It didnt feel incredibly welcoming here, and nothing really caught my eye. Im sure its better for classes.

This store is a delight! They carry an ever expanding array of arts and crafts supplies, all beautifully displayed and fairly priced. Their fabrics and yarns are top quality. They carry book binding supplies, rubber stamping supplies, art supplies, paper supplies, art ideas for children. I could go on and on. I feel like a kid in a candy store every time I venture in to this lovely shop. You will be inspired to try new things!

Sad to say, this shop has decided to close. However, if you get there soon, they are having some great sales now. Im hoping someone will buy this business and keep it going. Its small so limited selection, but good quality items and I like what they offer for sketchbooks, pens, and other drawing materials.

Excellent Store. Very Friendly people. While on vacation in the area I found out my best friend might have her baby 2 weeks early. I went in Once Around needing supplies for the baby blanket I promised to crochet/knit for her and came out with a beautiful selection of yarn and the size crochet hook I needed. Plus! I couldnt help myself from getting a present for my daughter and some new watercolor pencils for myself. Very nifty place, and very pleased customer.

Really nice craft store, has a good selection of things for every type of art, like acrylic and oils, pencils, rulers, stationary, knitting, sewing fabrics (most of which are organic cotton fabrics), scissors, etc. It is a good place to pick something specific you need for a project.

Hey 2016 reviewers, Still open 😏Nice assortment of crafts, paints and supplies, although it’s hard to shake the feeling that the store is set up more for an impressive visual display to motivate tourists into impulse buys rather than to supply actual artists.

I was shocked when I went to Once Around when they were on Miller Ave. and they were CLOSED! At first I thought they were closed because of the street repair. Then I kept going back- and finally saw that they were completely moved out! NOT ONE NOTICE ON THE DOOR telling customers what happened, or if they would be relocating. It would have been a courtesy, and would have saved me a few trips from Stinson Beach. I was so disappointed. I used to have to go all the way to S.F. to FLAX--but found that ONCE AROUND had many of the things that I was looking for. I can not wait to see the new store--but for sure, I will phone first.I was so happy when I saw that they had gone back into business.

The store is small, but packed. If you dont see what you need, they may have even more in the back or in their storage.
