If you want to go back to a simpler time, when Clinton was in office and the biggest debate was NSync or Backstreet Boys, visit this Luckys. The products and brands will generally be in stock, even if you havent found them for years.This place was a blast from the past, in a good way.

I don’t even know where to start but weeks ago I called ahead for this particular baby food that was all my dying dog would eat. Christopher pulled all of it and has been helping me out for weeks. Safeway has been where I shop for years because three of them are closer then this Lucky store. But Safeway is always out of this one baby food (ALWAYS) Honestly I would drive several cities now to shop at this Lucky’s. Since that first incident of getting that baby food, everyone has participated in helping me and my dog. I can’t thank you enough for whom ever manages this store. You should be so proud of your customer service people I’ve never seen anything like it!!!! Lucky’s will always be my go to store from now on!!

I went to refill my 5gal jugs. I have it 4 stars because this place is more expensive compared to the 1 i go to in San Mateo. It was convenient for me though.

This is a nice store overall, especially if you shop the sales. The prices tend to run higher than Safeway otherwise, but the produce can be nicer. They also have digital coupons you can download. The people are friendly and helpful, but the store is a bit under staffed, so finding someone can be a challenge. I shop there fairly regularly.

Ive gotten to like this store a lot more. When their meat goes on sale the prices are very good. I have been going here more often.

Pretty Cool to shop at Luckys store after 45 years. My Mom use to shop there all the time when I was a kid. Loved the fresh-baked bread when I was a kid.

Very nice employees... however the items that I purchase turn out to be expired somewhat often. Never had that happen as much here as any other store Ive ever been to

Very clean and well stocked however the staff wasnt very attentive. We were never greeted during our visit. It was rather late and Im sure they were as tired as we were. The cashier never greeted us, ask if we found everything ok or thanked us for shopping. It was as if he was already home and wanted us to GET OUT!! Customer service is everything.

Store is really old looking seems like they are doing some remodeling sections at a time can’t wait to see when they finish. Not overly crowded good prices especially on liquor and beer.

Lucky offers something Safeway doesnt. And Luckys sandwich is better, fresher than Safeway. The bread is softer. And the store is clean and organized. I dont know why not a lot of people come here.

I generally visit Lucks as a back up grocery store, to my primary more favorable one, which I leave unmentioned, that would be rude.And I must say, that Luckys was fully stocked on most products, that others have been plundered out of.Which was a pleasant surprise! I havent seen bleach or windex in my cupboards for quite a while. And I also stocked up on sponges! LolThumbs up also to the very friendly and alert staff!!!

Floor is a bit messed up but despite that, even while I was in a rush with 20 percent left for an Instacart order, carts were sanitized and the butchers were nice enough to make a max pack for me. Though the produce person doesnt talk very much he pointed to where I needed to go

They got less going on than Safeway, BUT they are way easier to get in and out of.

Reasonable prices, clean, easy to find what youre looking for. Theyre making extra effort to be virus free.

Is a very clean store all the employees are very friendly and theyre always asking if you need any help. When the line started to get backed up a little bit they called in for another cashier. They had nice sales today, the only item I could not find was Crew Pomade for hair.

No matter what time you shop at the Millbrae Luckys youre always going to find friendly and courteous Associates waiting to help you. Over the past couple of years Ive noticed this Luckys slowly improving. When I walked in the other night I was blown away it look like a different store. It was extremely clean, that that is ever dirty, but very clean, bright, and extremely welcoming. Whenever Im in the area I will make it a point to go by the store before others such as Safeway. Also the prices at Luckys are fair and they have some great deals always.

They have a foreign female employee who was unreasonably and unexplainably rude & she refused to get a manager for me. None of the other employees would call the manager to the front for me either, so I refused to spend any money there and left to continue shopping elsewhere

A good store, overall. I like the staff, and have come to know many of them over the years. I prefer the produce section over the Howard Safeway. Meat section nearly always has what Im looking for.The restroom is now in good shape, so Ive added a fifth star to my original review.

I usually shop at Safeway because its literally right around the corner from me, I think Im going to start driving that extra mile only because this store is clean, well lit& has plenty of parking! I have a tortoise she lives her red lettuce at $2.49 every other day it can add up Luckys has red lettuce for a $buck 99, the quality of the lettuce is far better than what I receive from Safeway at the higher price. I thought Safeway and Luckys merged so why is the quality so much better here? & They still call for another checker/cashier when 3s a crowd!!! Way to go Luckys

Millbrae location is huge with no big crowds like Safeway . Its clean and always stocked up. Itd be nice if they lowered their prices or have better sale deals like Safeway.

The items are often over priced. I can get most at other grocery stores for less than half what Luckys charges. But the employees are wonderful! Oscar, Roseanna and Fernando... All are very professional and friendly.

Very outdated. Customer service was bland. Visited the bakery and no one asked if i needed help till after they finished stocking pastries for about 15min. But the lady that did help was very nice and informative about ordering a cake.

Reasonably good collection of everything you need from a grocery store, open 6 am-12 am, checkout lines never very long plus has self checkout, helpful and friendly staff, free and ample parking - whats not to like?

This Luckys market is a very very nice and clean store. The prices are not bad! The workers are very nice and some very helpful. The produce area is big with a big variety of everything! The meat dept. is also big and everything is arranged nicely and all is fresh!! The prices on meats are reasonable as well, especially when you hit a Managers special oh wow!! Theres also a public restroom! Theres a Luckys store about 7 mins. from my home, but I go 15/20 mins out of my way to come to this store and its worth it!!

They couldnt figure out a transaction before me for gifts cards or something, the manager and cashier tried, kept trying and trying. I received one acknowledgment from cashier, frantically trying as fast as I can. My cart full had been sitting on the check stand going on 15 minutes, I left. MPO Manager should have handled this in customer service ohhhh and not completely ignored this customer, mauh. Sick of bs like this. .had to still do my grocery shopping, elsewhere like San Bruno Lucky

One of the better grocery stores in the California area. Wouldve given it 5 stars but they often dont staff enough cashiers and the lines can get annoying.

Terrible place to shop! The place is gross, the staff are rude and there produce is not fresh, the meat department is so small and the bakery isnt fresh. Luckys never has what Im looking for, self check out takes forever because it can never scan and I always have to wait for assistance. Most importantly they over price products. Im SO glad Safeway opened back, much cheaper!!

Today i came to the store with wic voucher as i empty my cart to check out the old lady was on the cash register saw me holding a voucher starring at me starts wobbling her head i was offeded by her and store.This grocery store is the closest of where we live very convenient. i go here very often even though me and wife encouter a very rude female cashiers. booth of them ages around 60s. When wife reached to check stand with a wic voucher she start starring my wife and starts shake her head and took a deep breath and paused a few seconds while shes starred my wife again and at the same time my five year old daughter coughed twice and she extended her forearm to her mouth,Attendant said to my wife can you tell your daughter to cover her mouth the way she said is not the right tone talking to the normal person she was just very rude there a few customers behind us it wasnt a pleasant my drove home srart crying. It seems like they dont want to help us... i thought about reporting these incidents to the govent agency. next time when i go there i going to video her
