You can smell the books when you enter ❤️ the ambiance is amazing. They also have trinkets, bookmarks, games, funny decor, greeting cards, etc. It was a pleasure. Very few of these precious sanctuaries are left around with everything online and the pandemic. These places help to explore and find new gems. Support your local businesses.

This may be the best bookstore ive ever stepped into. Lovely vibe and great people working there. Overall great experience, I will for sure be frequenting this store more often. Make sure to ask for Jake and Erics book recommendations! The staff and owner are very friendly

A cosy bookstore with great ambiance and a friendly, accommodating owner and bookseller. Although a small bookstore, staff are knowledgeable about a variety of classic and new authors in a variety of genres and age groups. They are more than willing to order any book if it’s not in stock and the wait is usually just a few days. Book orders can be picked up in front of the store, or staff can even walk up to your car and give you your purchases through your car window. But true bookstore lovers, if wearing a mask and keeping proper distance from other customers, should come inside and enjoy this small oasis of calm. Love this place! I have been wanting to visit for a while and finally stopped in. The store is not big but dont let that turn you off if youre the kind of book lover who loves to get lost roaming the stacks (to be honest, I visit a bunch of bookstores, and I appreciated that this one was smaller, well organized, and uncluttered. Sometimes independent bookstores are just covered in books everywhere and that can seem overwhelming. While I love books it was nice to just see an awesome selection displayed really well). Like I said, I am impressed by their selection (especially horror - which is often under represented), and feel that the books are very well chosen and displayed. It is obvious the owners thought about the store layout because the genres are organized well and I found it enjoyable to walk around and browse. Also that best seller wall is just beautiful and a gem to look at if youre a book lover. Definitely will be back !

It’s a nice little shop. Very clean. Very small selections, although I loved the True Crime section. Books are all sold at retail price, though, no bargains, which takes away the small-town-bookstore feel.

What can I say. The BEST book store around. Fantastic selection, not to mention great coffee and artwork as well. We believe in giving back locally so most of the birthday presents for our daughters friends birthday parties are gift cards to the Book House. Highly recommended.

What a beautiful addition to downtown Millburn. This is a lovely bookstore that has such a warm and open feeling. I love that the bookcases are fairly low so they dont feel so imposing. They also have amazing art from a local artist and a room downstairs thats used for book clubs and others to meet.

This is such a fantastic independent bookstore. Im so glad that we have one in the downtown area, finally, and that its such a great-looking, well-stocked one, with a great owner. I look forward to spending a lot of time browsing and buying here in future.
