Wow! One of the best supermarkets. This one near Bethany Beach where we were vacationing was spotlessly clean, great selection of fresh produce, well stocked shelves and (when we went) well manned and fast checkouts.

My newest hero’s at Giant are Ms Kim and Brenda. Today, November 5th, these ladies helped pull together 2 carts of groceries heading to Mariners Bethel Church “Clean My Sheep” ministries that will provide nourishment for numerous families and individuals. Not only did these ladies pre-shop my list, they alsoassisted me to my car and loaded it up while smiling and thanking me for shopping Giant.This store continues to exceed my expectations and I will remain a loyal customer.On a previous shopping trip, Joey pulled together a cart of sale items for me; which will go to local food pantry. I called the store day before and shared my list of products and Joey had the cart ready the following am. This is typical behavior for staff at this Giant….Professional, friendly and always willing to assist.

Plenty of pretty much whatever you need. Just be prepared that it can get pretty crowded and parking lot is usually full. Best thing to do is not go during peak hours.

So impressed with Giant Foods because they employ mentally challenged people. Unfortunately customers dont seem to realize and understand that. They get frustrated with them. Maybe a sign to explain this policy would be helpful.

I was buying CANT BELIEVE ITS NOT BUTTER VEGAN .I AM A LOCAL AND BOUGHT IT ALOT . THEN YOU STOP GETTING IT AND REPLACED IT WITH SOME OTHER VEGAN BUTTER THAT TASTE AWFULL. PLEASE GO BACK TO THE I CANT BELIEVE ITS NOT BUTTER VEGAN !. I CANT EAT ANY THING WITH MILK IN IT .

This Giant is right around the corner from my house. The seafood is amazing, the staff are friendly, and the store is always clean. Our refrigerator is stocked solely by Giant and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Generally well-stocked. Very crowded. Only 3 staffed checkout lines, the rest were all self-service.

Crowded, aisles are very close, hard to move around, shelves are very high and hard to reach, lots of self checkout and not enough open. Will try another store next time I am out.As a shopping experience goes I hated it....

Well I must say shopping at Giant all my life I surprise how dirty the front of the store. Trash can over flowing on to the sidewalk.

I know there is a labor shortage, but having most of the aisles as self checkout during a very busy time creates a really negative experience. Ill try weis next time.

I went to the Giant pharmacy this evening needing a small syringe to administer medicine to my child. I brought the medicine from home but forgot the syringe. The woman working at the pharmacy and the pharmacist would not give me one but were also extremely rude. I left and went to cvs down the street and had the opposite experience. If you are looking for a pharmacy cvs is far superior toGiant, and would highly recommend cvs for friendliness . To need a syringe to administer medication to your baby and have a pharmacy treat you rudely and deny you is really cruel.

Love shopping here when Im in Delaware

I usually go very early between 6 & 7am or after 8pm. I feel safe then and enjoy shopping in a nearly empty store. Today I got there around 9. Trying to social distance was a challenge; not with other shoppers but with the many vendors stocking the shelves. Ill stick to the early hours from now on.

This store used to be so good. A few years ago, the store was always kept well cleaned and stocked. I understand that due to the pandemic it is not possible for the store to get certain items in. However, it doesnt stop them from cleaning trash out of the carts and near the produce. Certain employees can be very helpful and fun. Pizza Paul and Shannon are my favorites, and they are without a doubt the best employees in the store. Without them this store wouldnt be worth shopping at.

Cashier was so unproffesional told me I must have been getting busy because i had 4 children 2 of whom are my neices with me

This is the best Giant I have been in, in a long time. When you walk in their produce is not only neatly displayed, but the quality and variety of the products is exceptional. It does not end there. The rest of the store also has variety and is very clean. Needless to say, I was impressed!

I didnt purposely give1 star, but I had to give something to enter a review, I love the store.....Open 24 hrs now? Nice

Giant Foods has gotten terrible this summer. The shelves are empty; its like a plague of locusts descends every day. Go early, go late, go any day of the week, its the same. The staff is very frustrated as well.

So clean, very friendly atmosphere, helpful, and had an item that I was looking for for over a year everywhere else. This was my first time at this giant and since it is only ten minutes from my house I will be there often. They greet you when you enter, how nice is that!

Deli section needs a bell to ring for service. The lady with the red and black hair was too busy chatting with another employee even after a third employee pointed out she had a customer. She could have at least turned around and acknowledge my presence. It wasn’t busy as I was the only customer waiting for service. I finally walked away. I will go down to Hockers. And since I have to buy my deli products there, I may as well do the rest of my shopping there. It’s not that much further for me to go down Cedarneck Road to get better service. Lately the only thing that has kept me as a repeat customer has been your checker, Miss Doll.

Good market. Or great. You have to dig for the deals. Lots of overpriced items and the produce is overpriced and awful. Not a head of lettuce to be found. Just $4 bags of shredded junk. Needs more veg variety. Checkout people are very nice and staff is helpful. Wish they focused more on produce and healthy choices.

Largest grocery store in the area. Bakery can make a cake for your special occasion. Donuts here are better and less expensive than the donut place in the shopping center. Starbucks inside the store. Plenty of parking.

Manager on evenings of Aug. 12 2021 was very rude wouldnt let one of workers help us when my husband asked where dip was said you can see it.

This particular Giant is just special. The fruits and vegetables are always fresh and plentiful. The people that work there are friendly and helpful. The store is clean and well stocked. I prefer to shop here over any other markets in the area.

I witnessed 2 people enter store with no mask and they refused to wear one so management was called and the store manager escorted them so they could shop even though they didnt wear mask. Please tell me how him escorting them kept the 300 other people in the store safe. They should have been refused to enter are u that desperate for business? Because of this I will be shopping across the street at Weis for the rest of the week during my vacation. And I have family living here and will inform them of this ridiculous practice.

This is one of the better groceries stores in the area, but it can be really crowded in season.

The store was recently remodeled so its clean with most refrigerated items in enclosed cases, aisles are marked for traffic designation & 6 foot markers are frequent.Prices are reasonable especially with promotions & flyer coupons.Seafood, deli, bakery & on premise butchering. Fresh made meals, pizza and other specialties are available. Last but not least local produce in stock.Self serve check out available however there are still many friendly cashiers present.This is my go to grocery store.

Best grocery store in Lower Delmarva. I mean, its a regular Giant, but its big and has a good meat and seafood department. Good selection of Asian sauces and Italian pastas and sauces. Nothing like youd find in DC, Philly, or NYC of course.

I was really impressed with this store, The variety of food and service was great! Only one flaw which I feel is really gross- I got cantaloupe cut up to snack on and it had hair in it!! Dark hair about two inches long. Not just one pierce, there was a couple!! Please check who is preparing your food! I don’t know if I will go back there and I live in this area!! Really gross!

Employees are extremely helpful. Any problems that arise are quickly taken care of.

Alot of selection, very big

Normally great. But once you get the miserable cashier who hates her existence & chooses to make you feel like shes gonna make you pay or its your fault. Its a huge turn off. No one was at her register. She was rude & unhappy. I went to customer service to report her & she followed me, yelling she didnt do anything. All of it was her doing her best to get fired & I was the person in that path. Im there every week. Every week. Welp after that rudeness, Not anymore.

Very clean and well stocked market. Lots of gluten free items (in the organics aisle). Good selection of fruits and veggies, and the rotisserie chicken is excellent.

Its close to home and I can go in and out without having to deal with people. Since the store has been updated the layout is so much nicer. They really did a nice job.

Customer service is lacking

I used to love this Giant store, but havent been here since the Covid-19 started. Theyve changed a lot of the displays as well as some remodeling being done. In general, a very good grocery store that mayve had to change a few things...still like them, just not as much.

The staff was amazingly helpful and patient. This location was packed with people when I shopped, however, and items were not very streamlined. For someone that was coming from out of town it was a very disorienting shopping experience and took me much longer to get the items I needed than it should have.

I love the Bakery at Giant. You can get a Birthday cake on short notice. They sell most everything. Their Rosemary Baked bread is to die for! The prices are more expensive than Weiss. If you follow the sales, you will make out pretty good. Always have a list as too easy to get distracted on what you came for.

Nice selection. Very well kept. I like going here from Salisbury. Its worth the trip every time.

Prices are too high and produce was ok, just make sure to check it first. On the positive side, the store is clean and recently renovated.The staff is not very friendly, with the exception of Pizza Paul. He is literally a day of sunshine and the only reason I shop there. He makes my day every time I see him.

Well stocked and recently remodeled. Very busy (late June) with tourists. They had toilet paper and hand sanitizer in quantities I havent seen since before covid.

I just went to pick up a few things so i could cook a nice Italian dinner for my two daughters and their families . They had a wide variety of everything to choose from. Cashier was friendly and expedient. So the sauce is on the stove simmering all night and into tomorrow. U got to ❤ that.

A very good supermarket with good prices. Surprisingly good artisanal breads available. Nice clean well stocked with good prices. Have earned their place as our primary grocery source. Staff friendly and proficient. Deli staff not always friendly but they get you your order and get you on your way.

Nice cashier clean store nicely stocked but too pricey there were similar items at Walgreens that I brought on the fly that were cheaper just saying
