The worse ever, it took me 3 different walmarts to go to, to have 2 tires installed on my car and after that Ive been having issues with my tire pressure indicator and flat tire indicater. Every Walmart had non working equipment and not enough employees and closed automotive department earlier than what was indicated.
Theyre incredibly busy. They do great work... their customer service is excellent.. they, like every oil change business in vicinity, have too business not enough team members

Came in for an oils change. The tech came out and said he couldn’t remove the oil plug as it was stripped. It was not stripped when I brought it in. Walmart refused to assist and would not admit to messing the plug on. They also tightened it way to tight. Overall no one knew what they were doing and this location should be avoided.
I have been trying to call them on their phone number. No one picks up. This has been the case for last 5 days. No recording. No callback.

Called them up Saturday afternoon at 3:30 to ask for tire service. No answer. Just for fun I let it ring for 3 minutes and four seconds. Still non answer.
I ordered 2 tires and made an appointment at 4pm. When I came they said nobody can install your tires because we are short for employees. If you do not have employees do not make an appointment for the people do not make them to come there or at least inform them. Then I asked to get my tires so I can install in somewhere else. After waiting for 2 hours they brought 1 tire and said we can’t find another one. Such a worst place to come, shame on store manager...
Good prices but long wait
Just installed 4 Pirelli tires for my Lexus. They have very cheap 235/55R19 Pirelli Scorpion Verde AS+2 tires, much cheaper than Americas Tire and TireRack and they installed the tires very well. Recommended!
DO NOT GO HERE unless you have whole day to waste. I dropped off my car this afternoon for oil change and the nice lady at the register told me there were 2 cars ahead of me. I thought 2 cars for oil change would be fast but I was totally wrong!!! I ended up pick up my car after 6 oclock!!! Meanwhile there were few customers were complaining other issues. I felt bad for the lady who worked over the register. Seems most of the customers came very angry. Worst oil change experience ever!!!!!!!!
Worst experience when trying to call and schedule an appointment. Bought the roadside assistance package when I bought my tires. Have been calling for over a week now and no one ever picks up the phone
Completely unprofessional. Waited over 45 minutes just to get a battery and I didnt even get one I ended up leaving to go to OReillys. The people who work in this department dont even have the keys to the products that they sell. The batteries were in cages they paged someone 6 times, & no one ever came, the manager never came it was horrible.
Extremely reasonable price tires for your car from a name brand company Goodyear, as you would expect from Walmart. However, the store assistants do not answer telephone calls most of the time.

No good job on my oil change I had one of those Twenty Thousand Mile oil filters I let them know when not to change it cuz it was new and they changed it anyways and put some $3.50 pram oil filter on my truck
Very long lines and poor staffing in this location makes customer experience frustrated and pathetically managed at counter. No one receives the phone for appointment, very difficult to manage get service if you have tire hazard and lifetime balance purchased here. No waiting room for customers add to horrible experience

I was initially here last week, they charged double the posted price(what should have been $20 was 40) and they didnt bother resetting my TPMS. I came back today so they could do what they should have done the first time, and ended up waiting three and a half hours for a simple TPMS reset, only to them be told that the person who knew how to do it isnt here today and to come back tomorrow.Also, I have tried calling them half a dozen times and the only two times they picked up, they immediately hung up.

And they can only do that pace because all are older people. 1 flat tire, it took 2hr to fix, no one care. I could rather go somewhere to fix in 10 min. But I had insurance for the tires. It’s provocative, and I’m tired.
Good luck getting any service here! They ignore you and purposely hang up on you. They left my phone ringing with no answer several times. The longest was 10 minutes before they picked up the phone and hung up on me (I was curious at how terrible their phone manners were).I called the Fremont Walmart and they took my phone call the first time and scheduled me that day!

Manolo was awesome! He helped me check and replace my battery within the hour. For being short staffed theyre friendly and try their best. Other customers just have to learn patience, especially when its 6:30pm and demanding service. Definitely coming back when I need help on my car in the future
Was looking to purchase tires at this location as the price was very competitive. Called the Tire center several times to find out how to schedule install. Waited on hold 4 times till the service kicked me off. Finally someone answered and I could hear carts smashing together and people talking. Employee hung up. I called back thinking it might be the connection and again the same thing. I feel so bad for the team members that have to hear their department phone ringing off the hook for customers that want to purchase products and support their jobs. Must be terrible!!!!!!!! Called Discount tire they matched Walmart’s price and provided EXCELLENT customer service.
Took appointment for 12:00Called 10 times to let them know that I will be 15 minutes late but no one picked up my call.Got at auto center around same time. A gentalman named Mr Hact*r just told me I will not let you in for being late for 10 minutes and sent us back... and we will not accept you untill you make next appointment for tomorrow... customer service at its worse... Bought a brand new car battery, which died only a week after it was installed. When brought back for the replacement, assistant did some checks and recommended recharging the battery, which was reported dead (~9.5V). It took a while until they finally agreed to replace the battery under the warranty, but they still wanted to charge me with the core fee - I had to speak with the manager again to get that fee waived.Also, if you want them to do any job on your car, prepare to wait long hours.
Bad customer service. No greeting what so ever. Ask them a question, they just respond by moving his head. the man work there are way too smart for me. If you ask him a question, you’re bothering him. Give your to a dealership that is way more qualified than Walmart
Bad customer service, some of the workers in the “ Auto Service “ are not knowledgeable even, also their attitude is not good, not helpful. When I ask them to get appointment for oil change, they said no appointment. You have to wait for hours until your turn. You can not get appointment even for tomorrow.
They are very understaffed. Waited close to 20 minutes on hold on the phone to have a question answered. Appointments only for oil changes now, although they are still behind even without taking walk-ins. If you remember to schedule beforehand and have plenty of time to kill for an oil change (at least 2-3 hours) then it’s no problem, otherwise spend an extra $20-$30 and go somewhere much faster that doesn’t require an appointment.

It doesn’t matter how early you get here, when I brought my car I was told there was no other car for them to fix, I walked around for a hour waiting for a phone call and nothing, I just had to repair or change one tire, I came back and my car was still where I parked, they completely forgot about it and were doing another car, the explanation was the tire guy left for lunch, in the morning... now I have to wait on the line to get my tire, so, busy or not you are going to wait a long time because they just can’t get things right, they are simply not even trying
Calling them for 2 days, waited for more than 10 minutes, once associate said Hold On and never came back, second time they picked and hang up.I left my car at 8 for tire installation and they said it will take 1 hour. I came back to home and still waiting till 11 30 now. Not sure if they will complete it today
I could give them zero stars. Went this Saturday to inquired about getting new tires. The first person who helped was rude and did no effort to help when I explained what I needed. The second person was even worst. She was not help at all. Take your business somewhere else or Walmart, please provide training to your staff. I went around 1pm. Terrible customer service.

Kinda busy now, appoiments are required for tires rotation and mounting, oil change is done the same day but youll have to wait long.
We called and asked if we could bring our car to get balanced. They said appointments are recommended but they accept walk-ins. We drive 40 minutes to get there and then they tell us because we dont have an appointment and therefore we cant get our car checked out. Bad customer service and a ton of inconsistency.

Second time bringing my car here. First time the wait time was forever but this time I woke up early and was the first one in the store. This time the service was much quicker. Staff was very professional. Price was awesome but if you go here I recommend going in super early that way the wait wont be as long.
Walmart auto what happen to you? Seem like they are short staff. The guy on the register isnt always there. Hes sometimes helping out the oil change guy or just hanging out there. I think they do this on purpose to make sure they dont get too many customer? Maybe so they arent overwork? Who knows. All I know is the customer experience is so much worse than before. Wait to find someone to to check you in for oil change 15min. Wait get the oil change. 2 hours Wait to pay. 15min Shouldnt take more than a couple min to check you in and 30 min per car for oil change. The way its setup if the car in front has problem, the whole line of car is screwed until they contact the customer. Now you should plan a whole vacation day to hang out here for your oil change
I made an appointment yesterday and incame in today at 3:00 pm and i left at 4:30 pm very good job staff were cool i just shopped around and hungout, I expected them to take a while so i just chilled. Would come back, pretty good price.
I’ve had 2 tires replaced before and today I did a power and performance oil change. Each time they’ve been as efficient as they can. First time I came in the afternoon and I did have to wait for 2 hours but it’s to be expected. The second time I came at 7:20am and they had everything done in about an hour. No complaints so far. I like it that there’s lots of restaurants and shops around that you can kill some time. Also, you can’t beat the price!
Was here to drop off my car for oil change service. Stood in line for 1 hour just for the drop off (other places this would be few mins) and when my turn came and I asked him how much time would it take he said there were 4-5 cars ahead of me. I said I need to know how much time as I don’t have a clue how much each car would take. He said “I DON’T KNOW!!” Why are you standing behind that desk if you don’t have a clue about your own field your own job??? Has it ever happened you’ve gone for oil change and they didn’t give you a time estimate?? Never happened to me before so I left without getting oil change and after wasting an hour. This place sucks in customer service!! They need to hire new more efficient workforce here!! Walmart HR are you listening?
They have economical pricing and time spent is reasonable like 1.5-2 hrs for tire change with appointment. But on a busy Saturday they messed up my work order. I had specifically told them to replace only the front tires but put new tires at the back. Instead this important piece of info was never communicated to technicians and they happily replaced only the back tires. When I went back to them telling My problem was not solved (since one of the front tires was very bad), they first acked their mistake and then when they took out the back tires they just removed the day before, refused to put them back citing even those tires were bad and just gave me back those tires.. That actually turned out to be true.. But if they had done their job properly they would have told me that ahead of time and saved me more confusion and another visit to them..

AWFUL!!This place is absolutely awful! I was 3rd in line on a Monday to change ONE TIRE and it took 4 hours. I got there at 645am and didnt leave til 1030am. Theres no effort on behalf of the employees to keep you updated on your vehicle. I wish I could give this place 0 stars. This department of Walmart needs to be revamped. They will no longer be receiving my service until this change is made

Waited an hour, just to ask how long changing two tires would take (2 hours +). Listened to the tire expert ask somebody which way they want their tires put on white or black out?. Tires are not Universal they are mounted one way only, so the question was quite troubling to me. Lady on the way out said she waited two hours for an oil change and she requested they dont lock her car because she didnt have a key for the door. Ofcourse they locked her car and she was stranded there, trying to get them to help her get in her car. Stay away from this place.
Had a flat tire. Other store said I needed a new tire. Came to Walmart planning to get a new tire. Asked the guys to take a look and they told me its repairable. I was happy. Then after they checked the cut they said no leak! So nothing to repair.. Even happier!!
Horrible customer service I’ve been waiting for the store auto center to open at 7am as stated on the website I was waiting for 35 minutes nobody had a clue where any techs where or what time they come in when I asked to speak to a manger they said no managers are available they start at 7 but aren’t here yet. The cashiers where laughing amongst each other I’ve never been somewhere with such horrible customer service I wasn’t aware Walmart employees can start whenever the want and open certain departments whenever they want ! I would hope that nobody waste their time or money it has now been 45 minutes and still nobody has a clue
There is never anyone at the counter. You always have to wait forever.And once a person comes, he doesnt care about you and takes forever.Horrible service here. If you dont want to wait in line for hours, only go in the early morning on weekdays. And you still have to wait for someone to come assist you.
The worst auto care department I ever seen. They broke the tire pressure sensor of my car during replacing the tires and nobody took responsibility. My car is 2018 and they didnt have upgrade system to scan and know which sensor is broken. Finally, I went to a tire shop and paid out of my pocket to fix it. Never go there for replacing or cheking the tire pressure
The service was very unprofessional and rude. I was instructed to leave my car and go inside. I did exactly that. After doing some shopping I came back to the manager explaining that they hadnt started on my oil change. Unlike the first technician, the manager rudely informed me that I was supposed to go inside and get my work order processed, not something I was told. And then he belittled me by overexplaining this miscommunication and making it sound like it was my fault when I was just doing what the first technician told me to do. After waiting about 20 minutes after processing my work order, the manager told me my car was finished. I paid and went outside. They were not finished but I had already carried my groceries out to put in my car. The technicians outside yelled at me for going into my car and did not give me an update so they just had me standing outside in the hot sun. The whole process took over an hour. This shop is mismanaged and understaffed. If youre going here for a quick oil change, youre not going to get that. Better off going to. Jiffy Lube for the same price and much much better customer service. This ordeal has been miserable. (Im still waiting for my car to be finished by the way.)
I dont know why people have so many negative reviews about this location. These guys are pretty nice and they do work perfectly. I got all the 4 tires installed on my Car in less than 45 minutes today morning. A really nice guy Michael was amazingly helpful. This location works on First Come First Served basis. So, on any given day, if lots of customers show up, last ones will really need to wait for long. Im happy with todays experience and special thanks to Michael -:)
They said it costs 50$. I ended up paying 95$ and endured a lot of trouble. Also, my oil tank was overfilled.They apparently were not qualified to do the work. They charged me for 11 liters of oil. But my car was indicator showed that they had over filled my tank. So I paid for the extra oil that they put in my car.In addition, the front desk lady, first charged me 130$ by mistake. She was quite rude and I had to be very polite and attending to point her to her mistake in calculating the price. It took a lot of effort to convince her for her obvious mistake. I think she disliked me because I had a nice car.
Wait for 6 hours already and they are not even start to work on my flat tire.. they took about 3 hours for changing 4 tires on an old Mercedes E240..3 hours for changing 4 tires is bit crazy... I waste a whole day here!!! Not sure why Walmart still hiring them? The money they earned from customer is less then what they got paid by Walmart!!! Never come here for any auto service!!! Never!!! And their parking had screw.. and the a needle almost pass through my shoes .. I shall to sue them if I injured!!
Dont you expect knowledge, speed, or any kind of service, it is Walmart after all. Cheap is what you get, in any regard (and folks will patiently wait in line for that, but not me).
Tire change, 4 tires, arrived at 6:58am, second customer that day, and first for tire change. Told will take 1.5 hours, which is OK. But at last, out at 10:30.Work efficiency is hell low. Both the cashier and the mechanicians. Attitude OK and did the work at last. So 2 stars not 1.

Like all the other reviews said, wait times were ridiculously long. I was told my car would be ready in an hour or two. Three hours went by before they even brought my car into the shop, and over four hours before it was finally ready. Great prices but Ill definitely go somewhere else next time.

Went there to have them investigate and repair a leak in my tire. For past few days when i got up in the morning my tire would be flat and wanted to see if it could be fixed. Took it to this auto care center and was told they were busy and would be 4 hour wait which i agreed to and had no problem with. After 4 hours was told the leak is in my side wall and could not be fixed and i had to replace my tire. I then asked them to mark the area which has the leak. Took the tire to get a second opinion at another place. When i went there they inspected the spot that was marked and could find no leak in the area Walmart had marked for me. They proceeded to find the real leak and fixed it. The real problem is that they had no issue in me waiting 4 hours to follow up with a lie and scam me into buying a new tire. If you ever go here always get a second opinion on any work done if you have them do anything at all.
If I could give zero stars, I would. I was the FIRST walk-in this morning. I went in for an oil change and tire rotation and 3 hours and 10 minutes later, my car was finally ready. The gentleman that took my order was surprised to see that I was still there 2 1/2 hours after he took my request. He checked-in on the status on my car and it turned-out that after changing my oil, the technicians set-aside my vehicle and forgot all about it. The auto care manager, Krystal, was ineffective, ineffecient, and overwhelmed.
The treadwear warranty is free when you purchase tires from Walmart (and a separate warranty from the optional $10 road hazard warranty), and it is provided to the customer by Walmart, not the manufacturer. Prepare to spend two hours explaining this to multiple levels of managers yourself with the warranty document online and with the warranty preprinted on the back of every tire order, despite Walmart having stated they would train their employees better about this warranty after paying out an $820,000 settlement.The discounted tires arent worth the hassle compared to purchasing them elsewhere, but because the prorated refund is applied as a credit on the next set of tires purchased from Walmart, Im stuck dealing with this again next time.
Do not go there if you have any other choice. The waiting time is ridiculous long there.I tried to replace my battery of my car there on a Saturday because the AD said free installation. However, I was told the line could be 3 hours long. I went there again in a work day. It was still 3 hours long. I had to install the battery by myself.

Dropped my battery off on Saturday so they could test it to see if it could still hold a charge. They said they would call me when its done. Now its Monday morning and I never got a call and nobody picks up the phone there. Been calling for the last 20 minutes, phone off the hook. Would never have come here but my car already had a Walmart battery when I bought it from the previous owner and there looks to be something left on the warranty. Its looking like it may not be worth it to pursuing at this point. My thoughts on Walmart: Never purchase any product that requires you to talk to an employee.

Wait too long for just s battery change. I waited three and half hours. They kept working cars after me and kept telling me I am the next. The only reason I can think of is my car need jump first before drive into garage. Its not fair that the technician skip mine and do the easier job first. I asked them nicely but not work. Until I got mad, they changed it.
The Automotive Center of the store closes at 7 and I got there at 4:35. I waited and waited for someone to help me, standing there for 20 or 25 minutes till one of the techs come out to tell me that its too late and that theres nobody that can help out at the counter. I waited for almost 25 minutes just for someone to tell me NO!?! I needed my tire to get repaired to because I ran over a nail earlier in the day. Ive showed up around the same time and been able to get help in the past. I know theres a cut off for bringing in cars, but they should at least have someone working at the counter till 7. The fact that I waited that long just to get an answer made my day worse, because it was too late for me to go to any other shops to help with my tire. Now I have to drive to work tomorrow with my spare donut tire.

I complained this issue when I pick up my car, and the front desk said they dont have enough people here to pick up the phone call, they are so busy. After he gave me my car key, he was playing his phone. its ok, nobody is working full 8 hours straight, totally understand, but you gotta to finish you job to call the customers. After I got my car, I found out my AC is on Max, and they changed my radio channel. I assume they really had good time while they are working outside of my car to change the oil...I really like this Walmart, which is my favorite grocery store to go every week. Please improve the customer service at auto center, they seems not get enough pay to be motivated to do their job.

They did an oil change on the wrong car !!They used my car key to open and start another acura (which was not my vehicle)and also which didnt need an oil change ! The customer was there for an axile problem and thought his car had been stolen !!they didnt offer to comp me for the extra 45 minute wait while they serviced 3 vehicles out of turn . If i hadnt spoke up id still be sitting there 😠😠😠😠
