I recently visited Halford Motors for the first time. I had rust proofing on my truck, oil change, air in the tires and they discovered a tail light out. They are reasonably priced, quality of work was great and they have wonderful customer service! They were patient and kind. I highly recommend them and will return for all my automotive needs.

The employees and owner of Halford Motors went out of their way to introduce themselves to me since I was a first time customer. I had picked this business as a friend had recommended it because they were friendly, honest, family oriented mechanics which was very true!They put on new snow tires, rotated them, new air filter, belt and front and back brakes in 2 hours because I had to get to the hospital to be with a relative. All 3 to 4 of them worked on my car tirelessly through their lunch hour to finish my car! And their prices were fair and less than other places.They also showed me where and why my car needed work so I could understand exactly what and why they were making repairs which I found very helpful. I will be driving out of Chittenden County up to Georgia, VT to have all my cars fixed there from now on!!!

Incredible service! I was driving up I-89, about 300 miles from home, when my transmission started having problems. I got off at the next exit and found Halford Motors. Despite showing up unannounced, they were empathetic to my situation and took care of me right away. They were very well staffed and everyone was very friendly and helpful. What a gem to find this shop in unfamiliar territory in a tough situation! I highly recommend for all expected and unexpected maintenance!

Literally the some of the nicest people. There’s no reason to go to a different garage if you live the area. They are also very timely, I expected to stay for 2 hours but was in and out within 30 minutes.

I would highly recommend Halford Motors. My 5 year old vehicle unexpectedly needed a full engine replacement, and after shopping around and talking to different businesses, Halford Motors was a clear winner. They were recommend by several people, and even another repair shop. Lukes wife was fantastic over the phone, getting back to me quickly and emailing me a clear breakdown of costs. AND she was nice! Other employees that I spoke with over the one were also very pleasant and prompt. Luke himself (the owner) kept me posted on progress, and other concerns with the vehicle. When I came to pick up my car, he took me into the shop and showed me what he did, what happened with the old engine, and even pulled up pictures of the various stages of repair he completed. Halford motors is located in Georgia, VT. My sons mothers car was making a grinding noise that was very concerning. The mechanics at Halfords assessed the problem and fixed it in no time (less than a day to replace 4 calipers, rotors and bake pads. Not to mention putting on winter tires. Less than one day!!). If youre looking for fast, friendly service for your motor vehicle, Halfords is the place to go.

Halford Motors is a wonderful shop. Ive only had interactions with the owner, Luke, but he was so accommodating; he returned my original phone call in under an hour, had my vehicle in the shop that evening, and had my vehicle fixed and ready to pick up the next day. We just had our car serviced there for the second time. So far, everyone I have met is very nice!At the first visit, the owner introduced himself. I especially appreciate that he looked me in the eye and spoke plainly about the condition of my car and what was needed and didn’t push me into any added services. As a woman, you don’t always get that respect from auto mechanics. I was able to sit in their warm, comfortable, little waiting room and watch a short video off their wifi while they serviced my car. The service fees seem very reasonable and are worth the 50 minute drive. My husband use to fix our cars, but he’s getting too old to crawl under the automobiles. He says Hanford’s is trustworthy and does A+ work.This last time, I accidentally left my wallet on the front floor of my car and was out of town for the day when I noticed. I called and left a message. They assured me everything was fine as there were security camera’s everywhere. When I got my car back, my wallet was exactly where I had left it and nothing looked out of order at all! I highly recommend Halford’s!My car is a 2010 Prius.

I have been going to Halford Motors for years since a friend recommended them to me. I have never had an issue with work done for me. The staff is very personable and remembers me even if I have not stopped in since last inspection. They know all 4 of my vehicles and a camper I own, and are very supportive when a family member has a health issue. (cancer). I saw Luke in town on a Sunday and even asked how my son was doing, and a few months had passed since I was last at the shop. My sons and his girlfriend goes here and so many others. The equipment is modern and up to date. Just a comfortable shop to go to and do business with. One of the Tech / mechanic even made up a display board of actual parts to use as a reference to show the part to them. I feel its a great idea to educate people about their cars so they have a better idea of why things can get expensive but routine maintenance get in most cases prevent issues. These guys are professionals and know their stuff, but are also gear heads and know how to customize your ride whether its a motorcycle or a car / SUV or Pickup. But safety always comes first at this shop. Thank You so much Luke and the Halford Team for all you do for my family and the community by providing safe and affordable service.. Most of my life, i have dealt with untrustworthy mechanics.. spending multitudes of money for parts that never truly get fixed... the guys at Halford are the first mechanics that i could truly trust.. it’s not easy spending a lot of money on your car, but i finally felt enough faith in a mechanic, to just say “what the hell” and get it done... and i was not disappointed... sometimes things still need a little work but when they say they will get it fixed, they GET IT FIXED! And now my car runs like it was supposed to when i first bought it... i’ll never go anywhere else for service!

This Mechanic is amazing! I have gone here for a few years now and they are wonderful. Today though they went above and beyond. My car was stalling and within hours of it being towed to the shop they had it fixed. They are incredible!

Georgias best kept secret... The kind of place you want to succeed so you refer everyone you know but, you selfishly want to keep it all to yourself. Thats when you know youve found a truly great place.

I had used this shop for years. I had scheduled a service for an oil change, state inspection, and new tires. I arrived they tell me they don’t have tires for me and that I am all set my tires are fine. I point out I can see the steel belts on my tires, these tires are not safe. They scheme for a second appointment the following week for an alinement and 4 tires. I pick up my car I am told you won’t be happy. It’s Friday we just want to go home. Your new tires are on but the alinement it’s correct your steering wheel is pulled to one side you need to come back. They wouldn’t reschedule me. Next week the car went back. They did the Alinement a second time. On my way home the car still pushed. I made an appointment with a shop in town the alinement was not done correctly. They gave me the printout to prove it to me. He was nice enough to tell me I was over inflating, y tires. He was the only person inflating my tires when did oil changes. My new tires had uneven wear on them with 3k miles on them. Be careful with this shop. Things are not always as they appear. Lack of integrity and honesty.

I cant say enough good things about Halford Motors. Owner operated and everyone there is a real auto enthusiast - its not just a day job. Kind, knowledgeable folks that do a fantastic job. Luke bends over backward to help everyone as many of the other reviews attest! Its awesome to have you as a local resource, but worth traveling for!
