One of the best gameshops Ive been to. Super cool staff, super cool players. I have been to several shops in Portland and Salem and this is by far my favorite one.

This place jacks their prices way higher than other lcs but I still bought from them for awhile because they are so close to my house, that is until they had the nerve to sell me resealed obviously tampered booster boxes and then when I complained tell me they are bought from the secondary market and there are known quality issues but offered nothing to make it right. $180 for 36 packs that already had most of the good cards removed? I think not. Already disputed with my bank since they refuse to reply to my emails

Hi TJ! Ive sincerely enjoyed watching your stores growth & success. Plz remember the ideals you had when you first opened, back when 50% of TCG price made sense cause being competitive brought you new business. I remember when your employees actually WERE concerned with whether they might lose a customer.I have no problem keeping my review at 5 stars but that was earned by YOU given the respect youve always shown me (regardless of whether I had earned it). But a couple of these new employees have only known a very respectful Kenny yet I got the impression customer service came as a hassle or an obligation to em. (Sorry no names, Ill make a mental note next time though, should it happen again)

Friendly and knowledgeable staff always willing to talk magic. Also a decent selection of pokemon and final fantasy cards. Tight parking but with 2 good restaurants in the same plaza its a great place to play.

Pre pandemic and hopefully post they do pre-releases events for a lot of games as well as Pokemon TCG, Magic events and video game tournaments.The staff are extremely knowledgeable about the products and friendly. They do pre-orders usually at a discounted price and they buy collections and single cards at least for Pokemon TCG and Magic

Epic is a great home for fantastic community and game playing of all kinds. Their prices are very reasonable even though their selection is limited. The events are always run with professionalism and efficiency. A great community and even greater staff.

Great little gem of a game store. Stumbled on them a few months ago and have been very happy. They go out of their way to learn who you are and make sure you feel welcome when you come to their store. Everyone who works there is knowledgeable and friendly. Great place to play board games, magic the gathering and other card games. Nice selection of several products.

The Employee Team here is fantastic. I have had one awesome experience after another. I cant tell you how much I really enjoy playing at a place that doesnt look down on you for being a n00b about something. They honestly want to help you be a better player and have gone way out of their way for me time and time again. They also have taken my 13yo son under their wing and have advised him on his game skills and have gotten through to him where I could not. A lot of other shops I have visited made him feel unimportant and a bother. Hes a kid. Hell be a pest, thats just the way it is. Thanks guys. :)I am very impressed by their business model as well. Best prices in the Portland area hands down. Definitely doing business right. I cant say enough positive things about them. If youre new to something and you want to learn, show up! WTG Team Epic!

The staff was not pushy but very good at answering questions. I would definitely recommend checking this place out if you have gaming questions or just want to ask some questions. They also do Adventure League which is awesome!

My brother-in-law and I go draft once a week here. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The other players we have encountered are all friendly and great sports. I couldnt recommend these guys more!

Fun little shop great for Magic the Gathering game play and Dungeons and Dragons. Get your group together and have a fun time defeating monsters and hanging out in their AC while the weather is hot!

Great shopping experience. Very friendly staff who will really make the effort to get to know you rather than just see you as another customer. I especially appreciate that theyll not only talk to you about the many games they offer, but will even offer to play with you during down-time. (Theyll quickly address any concerns at the counter, so its not like theyre slacking off from their jobs either!) Overall the people working here have alone made this store stand out from others in the PDX area!Great selection of products (Numerous card, miniatures, and board Games). If they dont have something you want or need, theyll do everything in their power to get it for you.Overall, excellent service with amazing staff who are willing to provide a great place to meet and game. Seem to have nothing but magic and Pokemon. Lots of space for gaming, just not a lot of product to be had. When I came in nobody greeted me so I stood around for a few minutes and left without a word being spoken. Oh well..

Terrible selection and the prices are way too high. There are plenty of much better shops in Portland. Even in Milwaukee there are better shops. I dont recommend this shop for buying or selling cards. Try Guardian gaming instead.

I live about 45 minutes away, but wanted to check this store out. Called them a couple days early to be sure an event on their calendar was still happening, but showed up today (4/27) and was told it wasnt. Probably a miscommunication that Id normally be willing to give a second chance on, but its enough to make me not attempt the drive again.

Great place to learn about different trading card games, relaxed friendly atmosphere. My 10 yo son got into a recently released tcg and we were able to go in and the staff there played a few games with him to teach him the game, explain all the rules and answer any question he had! Overall great experience! We will definetly be back!!

Fun game store with more than just table top supplies. Plenty of different events during the week and nice staff.

Always fun. Has board games, weekly/monthly video game tournaments. A strong magic/Yu-Gi-Oh/Pokemon scene. Not to mention Smash players and other fighting game events.

Been in a couple times. I used there kiosk to pick out a few cards. I was sold a card in a foreign language I dont speak. My fault I didnt catch it. Now Im out over $10. I will never shop here again.

I have been coming here for a good while now and its a very enjoyable place to come and just chill with people who are down to play a variety of games. The staff is knowledgable and always courteous.

They have a large area for play. I go for D&D Adventure League. The only reason it is 4 instead of 5 stars is the very small product variety for everything other than MTG. I like to spend money at stores I play at to support them, but the small product selection makes that difficult.

If you want to play the big CCGs, Epic is great, but they stopped catering to board games and gamers who like second tier games a while ago and seemingly never looked back.

Low quality store, very limited selection. Good play space, and food locations near by.P.S. dont think of selling your cards here, extremely low buy prices when they buy your cards, but really high selling prices when you want to buy cards. Youre better off buying and selling to TrollandToad.

My kids love Pokemon and they have a great place to play. Their staff are very friendly and the prices are the best.

Wednesday nights Commander gatherings are always a great time. And they give it free boosters for winning pods.

They do honor there 30 % of value of the card when selling cards. Often has a bad smell as well

Epic Gaming is my favorite hobby shop. The owner, Dan, cultivates humor and wisdom with his repertoire of customers. There are many communities of players who converge at Epic.Inside are more than enough places to sit and make yourself comfortable with a friend to play Magic or any other card or board game. There are a rotation of other staff in the store, so Dan isnt always around, but his comrades do a good job as well.On tournament days, the store is packed, so service is a bit choppy, but this is understandable. Also, Pogys is next door, and they will deliver your sandwich to where youre sitting in Epic, which is arguably the most communal feature of this location.If youre patient, love your game of choice, then Epic is a sure-fire place to be in Clackamas County.

Small but friendly. Its a card shop not much more than that but the owner is a great guy and will give fair trades if you are looking to sell your cards.

Been going to epic for almost a year. The staff is knowledgeable and eager to help you. Its a very open place were most people know each other and a fair amount of the staff is actually gamers. The drafts are fun and you can find lots of different games going I would advise likeing them on Facebook for the schedule.

Best place in town for Pokemon! My kids love the store and the staff. And they know what they are talking about, and if they dont know, they dont make something up
