Great variety of spices, food products and meat - lovely steaks. the owners are always helpful and kind! they even have ready made food for takeout or you can sit outside and eat.

Handmade family sausage is great!

I saw that they had Tacos, beans and rice with toppings and decided to try it out. That was a great idea! the Tacos were freshly made and very good and the rice, beans and beef was excellent. They have a great selection of fresh meats and fixings to go with so I picked up some steaks, thick chops and ground beef. (all very good).

I moved to Mims about 21 months ago. Today was the first time I went here. Was always curious, just never tried the place. Saw a sign for for gyros, and decided to buy one for my fiance. Bought a gyro, some hot pork and yellow rice, and sampled the hamburger mac and cheese. So now my biggest regret since moving to Spruce Hills, is not trying this place sooner. Everything was absolutely amazing. All the meat looked amazing. The staff were so friendly and helpful. I cant wait to get one of their meat packages. The gyro was one of the best Ive had in a long time. I will be back and definitely would recommend this place to anyone. Awesome staff and even better food.

Service and selection were great. You could tell everything was fresh. I stopped in for a sandwich, I left with steaks and a smile. This is definitely a place I’ll return to for a meat package.

What a small town gem! You walk in and the owners are very nice and greet you with wonderful hospitality. They have a huge section of Goya products, which is an awesome American food company. If they dont carry a certain product you need, they will order it for you and give you a call when it comes in. Thats a great business practice. Their meat is fresh and the butchers are awesome! A rare find! Very basic! Does excellent meat and sells some onions, veggies, squash to go with it. Also cornmeal type products, all good for regular family food. Cheaper to go there than all the way to Publix, but then you dont get the extras youll be buying there!

Tons of frozen vegetables and frozen fish to choose from. Large bags of french fries, Mexican/Spanish seasoning and a hot to-go bar.

Love this place. Been going here with my family for about 3 years now. The owners are super nice.

I shopped there three times because it is not very crowded and I dont feel comfortable trying to social distance in larger stores. Unfortunately, the beef I bought from the Family Meat Grocery was mostly inedible and ended up feeding my dogs. From Sirloin Steak to London Broils, the meats were gristly, waterlogged and tasteless. After three chances, low quality beef was not just luck of the draw, it was pretty much confirmed in my mind.All of that aside, if you are going there for the chicken or bacon, you are relatively safe as long as you can stand the sight of rotting vegetables on the shelves.

The meat is very good, they have packages of assorted cuts and different prices.The stakes we got where big and juicy, they also sell condiments and canned foods.

Granted, its only my first experience at this place, but dont let the generic name fool you. They have got some really good cuts here and on top of it they make a mean stew, and by mean I mean really really good!I would definitely recommend coming down here on two points. Number one, theyre a locally-owned place and you dont see too many meat markets that arent part of the chain anymore. Number two, the food is pretty darn good! Try the stew!

Great selection of meat at good prices and bulk containers of herbs and spices alongside normal general store fare. nice little lineup of fresh food like Jamaican meat pies, oxtail stew, braised chicken, rice and beans, and yellow rice. ask for a sample if youre interested, the staff was super friendly and welcoming.

I buy bulk meat here at a great price. I feed my dog a raw diet so the prices are perfect. I also buy produce and meat for myself and I’m always happy with my purchases. This is a great local place!

Wonderful little market that in some senses feels like youve stepped back in time 75 years ago. Please understand, its clean, well stocked and they were very friendly. But it just had that atmosphere of Olde Florida, the one before the Mouse House and Rocket ships ruled our state.They made me a killer fresh sliced roast beef sub bringing out a beef roast that was gorgeous and slicing it right there. The meat selection was awesome but limited on produce. They offer great meat packages.

I just looked in the freezer case they got a lot of cool stuff and large bags Frozen Seafood hot wings boiled peanuts lots and lots of stuff. I looked at their meat case beautiful cuts of meat. And I got one there small hot meals its in styrofoam container they fill with rice and beans and top it with a pork or chicken stew its a lot of food for $5 I guess its Puerto Rican Style cooking good stuff.

I had a great first visit here. A traditional meat market with competitive bulk pricing (hard to find in Brevard) and their customer service is more like becoming an instant family member. I see myself taking the 30 min drive to get here many more times in the future.

The prices are kind of high but the meat was good. Spend less at Winn Dixie.

Dont get me wrong but the people are nice, just the new owners dont know how to run a business since pops left, it went downhill ....It was handed over to:Pops nephew,Gilberto and his wife shefaliemeat prices arent that bad, but there service is poor, (Examples)1)one pair of gloves for all day use, never change gloves when working with one species to another, unless glove brakes or a customer asks them to, and even when asked to, they will change them or will even make it appear that they changed gloves.2) if you decide to order a sub make sure to check their produce out first, bc if its bad they will cut off slim/mold/bruises, and will serve the remaining .3) I would never eat from there hot case, bc food is 90% never fresh, what doesnt sell will be reheated for the next following day, BEEF- HAlf OR THREE-QUARTERS OF IT IS OLD BEFORE THEY COOK IT, (Green or may even be slimy.PORK- Same as the beefCHICKEN- you may be safe unless it didnt sell and they serve for the next day4) NOW if you tell them you dont want some thing they already cut, bc you dont like the way it looks, or bc it fell on the floor Do, dont be surprised that you went home with it,5) they Des cross-contaminate allot of times and still serve it instead of throwing it away.6) dont be surprised if you see a mouse or a rat......................
