I think Sundberg needs to evaluate their parts desk staffing needs. It’s always a huge wait time to get anything even if the item is called in before hand.
I called in early on Friday, open at 7 AM, for available parts and the gentleman on the phone was both informative and helpful.Stopped by later to pick up parts and both the person i spoke to on the phone and the cashier were speedy, friendly and professional.Will be sure to give them a call next time. Reasonable price too.

The parts supplier ordered in the dishwasher parts set I needed and had them in 4 days. I picked them up the next day and had the repair done and departed from the customer’s house the following morning by 10 AM.
After a frustrating search online I did find the correct part, but shipping was 10 days out and cost more than the part itself. Ive used Sundberg before and always found them helpful so I thought Id go in and check with them to see if they had the part.Unfortunately they did not, but said they could order it for me and itd be in the next day. Their price was VERY close to what I found online (without the shipping cost).Very happy to be able to use an actual local business than a faceless online retailer.
Kind of seemed like I called when everyone had decided it was the end of the day and completely checked out.Called to ask about two parts for my washer was given a price on one part and when I asked about the second part I need I was told it would be a lot more... I tried to press further to get the rest of the info I called for but they werent interested

Showed up at 12:30 on Saturday when store hours are listed as open until 1pm, only to find the doors locked and no one answers the phone. If you’re going to close early, a heads up would be nice. Not happy with the way business was conducted, or lack thereof.

Looked up my part online and it showed $39.99, sent my wife to pick up the part and charged her over $60.00... Called the next day and got hung up on.. I used to send business there way as I work in a supply house in a similar field. DONT ADVERTISE A PRICE IF YOU ARE GOING TO EXTENSIVELY MARK UP AT THE COUNTER!
Received help confirming the parts I requested were what I actually needed. I got the parts I need quickly and have not had any issues since. Great place, Id go back for sure.
After calling several other companies in the Twin Cities area, sundburg correctly found the right pump for my LG washer machine and had it in stock! My washer was fixed before 10a vs next week with the other guys.

I have used Sundberg in the past for parts to my wash machine to my stove. Being from North St Paul area, always loved supporting local business and giving back to the community; well that has actually changed as of today.On 03/02/17, my Whirlpool Refrigerator, needed a new door gasket, you know the rubber strip that goes around the door. So before taking a trip to downtown North St Paul, I looked online and saw online retailers selling the part from anywhere from 43-56 dollars. Needing the part today as condensation was forming inside my refrigerator, I drove to downtown North St Paul.I entered the store and was met by one of the two clerks working in the small storefront. One clerk was sitting on the phone in the back of the store, the other greeted me at the counter. I Informed the guy at counter of the part I needed, and gave him the serial number to my Whirlpool refrigerator. After looking it up on the computer, he informed me that they had none in stock, but had several in St Louis Park, and could have the part for me first thing on next day. Great…well that was at least what I thought until he informed me that rubber molding strip would cost $130.00 dollars. Yep you heard me correctly $130.00 To be honest I was a little set back, and even appalled at what they were asking. I informed the man at the counter what the part was going for online. That’s when the guy on the phone on the back decided but in the conversation and state “You don’t know what you’re getting from an online dealer.” I asked the gentleman at the counter if I could how him what the part was going for online. I took my smartphone out, and showed him several online retailers that were selling the same exact part (serial number and all) for a fraction of the cost. Even after showing him, I asked if they could match it…which they refused to do. Yes, that is their right, but in doing so they lost a sale and a customer.It’s no wonder why a lot of mom and pop stores are losing to online retailers. I am all for supporting small business owners within reason, but when a store is charging double the price for the part, and isn’t willing to match other retailers, that’s when I have to step in and give them a 1-star review.So let it be known, if you are looking for an appliance part, do some searches online compared to Sunberg, you will save elsewhere. As of now they have lost my business and will let other know of the prices and to stay away.
