Excellent brake job on my 2010 Toyata Rav-4 V6, the charge was lower than similar job done by a Toyota dealer 6 years ago.

This is a full service auto repair shop (not just brakes). Ive been bringing my cars here for years. Its a great alternative to high priced dealer shops. They have sent me to a dealer if its a problem involving certain software upgrade issues. Its a great first stop and quick fix at half to three quarters of what a dealer will charge. Ive really come to appreciate and trust them over the years.

As a single woman, I have experienced car repair shops trying to rip me off about pricing (some have succeeded because I didn’t know any better), Worku has always given me fair pricing, and has shown me the work that he has done once the job is complete. He can get busy because his work is so good so you may want to call ahead of time. This is my first car and he has even taught me some things about cars and what to look out for when it comes to repairs. I recommend him to everyone!

If you have any brake-related issues or light car maintenance, take your car to Worku. He is the nicest and most honest mechanic, with fair prices and great work. I came in with a clutch issue and was told that he couldnt be certain that the problem was completely fixed, so he told me to come back in three months and only pay if the issue had gone away, otherwise he would keep working on it.

This guy is awesome! I was not able to drive my car because the alternator wasnt working; to save me a tow, he came himself to help me get the car to his shop (without charging any extra). I could tell that he really cared about me and wanted to help me out. On top of that, his prices were great. The total cost was over $100 less than the other estimates I got and that was with replacing the serpentine belt! AND he did the job quickly so I was able to make it see the rest of my clients for the day. Overall a great guy and great mechanic!

It was convenient that I can drop my car off after hours on top of that I was also able to pick it up after hours since my work schedule collides with theirs. He was able to get it done in a day and explained to me exactly what it was that he was doing. I hate going places that treat me different just because I am a women but it was different with this business. My car was in really bad shape it needed new brakes, rotors and calipers. My car now drives great he was even nice enough to give me the third brake free. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

I cannot thank enough to this guy! During the past year, I brought him my old sooby at least 4 times (twice for brakes, once for the power steering pump, and once for the air conditioning). The service was always great and speedy, but this last time I brought it in, it was EXCELLENT. I brought it in for an AC problem (not cooling at all). All other shops were saying that my compressor was bad, and it needed to be replaced together with the expansion valve, which meant $900 in repairs. This guy found a lose wire on the compressor, connected it, topped off the freon. That fixed the problem and he only charged me $60

Worku is a very honest guy. He could have easily changed all 4 breaks and rotors as I was at his mercy but he only changed the front 2 and did an oil change for a very reasonable price. I took my car to bobby and steves to fix a problem they caused... they charged me 900$ and gave me a 50$ discount because they felt bad they ruined my breaks.My brother told me to take my car here and Worku charged me 570$ for the exact same services. Ive come back to Great Breaks Inc over and over. Moved to a neighborhood farther away and still come back for my car service.

They surpassed my expectations by far! Dropped my car off for rear brake work at 9:30 am on tuesday, and planning to pick it up 5 days later, so no hurry. (I travel out of town each week for work). The manager called me at 1:30 pm to tell me it was done already. I still hadnt left town yet, so went to get it. Hed noticed a rattle noise and tighten that up too. GREAT service at a fair price! AWSOME! Will go back for future repair needs definately!

Refreshing service, incredible price and perfect timing. I dropped off my car in the late afternoon for a strut replacement and picked it up at 6 to find that Worku had fixed the suspension of the car. But that wasnt all, he even superglued a precious carving that I used to hang from my rearview mirror! Its refreshing to receive honest work especially when the price is $300 less than the dealer. Very highly recommended!

He is not your typical auto mechanic. He diagnosis the problem and fixes it.. Seems like nothing special right? WRONG!!! As far as auto mechanics go,(not trying to be stereotypical but I have dealt with many and a trend has been noted) they are shady, manipulative, greedy, uneducated, and unpleasant douches! Worku on the other hand, is a friendly, honest and EXTREMELY knowledgeable man.A few days ago I was driving my wife and I to work. Our car, literally, started dumping coolant all over the road. I was able to make it Great Brakes where Worku was more than happy to get started right away. Panicking, as funds were low and we were approaching payday, Worku worked with me to ensure my car was fixed by the end of my workday (not an easy task). As I was leaving, with my newly fixed water-pump and only a couple of dollars to my name, Worku noticed that my gas tank was running on fumes. He offered to give me $10 to put in my tank. Seeing as he had already done so much for me, I couldnt take him up on his offer. But DAMN... People dont do things like that in this world for people they dont know. Worku does! He is an all around good dude, great mechanic, and cares about his customers.If you have luck with cars like myself and a wife with driving skills like mine, Great Brakes should be the only place you trust with your vehicles. Worku Moges is a great guy, honorable mechanic. I brought in my 02 VW Passat that was overheating badly and returned to the car to me in 2-3 days fixed, or so I thought it was fixed. Drove car from St Paul-St Louis Park, car overheated there and back, this was 4th of July 2014 Friday. He was gone for the weekend. I was upset, angry not being able to use car for weekend trips. Monday morning I left car with Worku with an angry note taped to steering wheel, in 2 more days Worku made it right, he fixed the car, drove it from St Paul-Minnetonka and back for 2 days-high speeds, rush hour traffic. Car doesnt overheat anymore. Worku made it right. This is the kind of person and mechanic you want working on your car, if there is an issue he wants to make it right. I flip cars and need them repaired, Great Brakes and Worku Moges is my repair shop of choice. You wont go wrong with him. Character, Integrity, Honorability, Work Ethic mean a lot and Worku has it all.
