Ive been meaning to check out this shop for awhile after following them on Instagram, and finally made the trek from White Bear to their MPLS location yesterday to check out a Veer wagon Ive been considering. This shop is incredible! So thoughtfully curated with a huge variety of items for all ages of kids, from clothing to toys to gear.I especially appreciate being able to stop by and try out larger baby gear, like the Veer wagon, especially as its quite pricey. The salesperson was wonderful and walked me through all aspects of it, and I ended up purchasing. Their staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and I cant wait to come back!

Came in to browse and wanted to exchange a gift that was given to us by friends for our daughter. First time shopping here as we are not local. So wanted to look for accessories for our stroller and got the opportunity to work with Stephanie! She is so pleasant to work with and was very knowledgeable about the products that this store carried. Will definitely be returning here to shop when we come back to visit family!

My husband and I came in looking at car seats and strollers. We are expecting our 1st child. We worked with Stephanie and let me tell you…she is amazing! She is well educated on her products and listened to our concerns and answered all of our questions. She made me feel heard and reassured me that my questions were not too silly! We couldn’t make up our minds on which stroller to get and Stephanie was so sweet about it. I highly recommend this baby store!

This is the most lovely store. The best kids things and the owner and staff are so helpful. They offer great advice and sell you truly what you really need. The other amazing thing is that they will do a car seat check. We bought our stroller and car seat there and Rachel is certified for car seat safety and so kindly helped us double check that we had it in right. Wonderful place on all levels.

We bought a new car seat yesterday at Pacifier. Rachel took it out of the box, installed it in my car and John double checked to make sure it was in safe and secure. They are both certified in car seat installation which is so awesome. They walked me through the whole process and made sure we had everything we needed. Absolutely amazing customer service. We will be back for sure!

A friend and I had such a good experience at this store today. We went to browse for baby gear. We had such great help from the staff. Especially Rachel, she gave us a great overview of strollers and car seats. I especially liked that she noted features to consider when buying and gave a thorough demo. The best part is that I felt like I was making a new friend who was trying to help educate me versus pushing to buy particular items. Overall great customer service! I will definitely be back.

My wife have always shopped here for other peoples kids just because its convenient and they have cute stuff. Now that were pregnant, Pacifier has become much more. Theyre a resource. Their staff had educated us so much on child safety, and our buying experience of our carseat and stroller was above and beyond. Well be going here for all our needs from now on.

Shopped here often when I lived in North Loop. It was very nice to have a baby stuff shop within walkable distance from my apartment for emergency gift occasion.

Jon was extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and kind in helping my husband and I buy our stroller, car seat, adapter, and base at Pacifier. As first time parents, we had a lot of questions, and Jon went above and beyond to answer them and show us the true differences and features in the travel systems we were considering. His advice helped us walk out of the store with all of the things we needed! I would absolutely recommend working with Jon and visiting the adorable Pacifier store!

We love shopping at pacifier! They always have a great selection of modern childrens items. I can always find the best gifts. I usually bring my son along because they have a fun little play space that he really enjoys while I shop. Its the one store he actually asks to go to.

The Pacifier staff, Rachel and Jon, were great and helped us figure out what we needed for our baby. They showed us how to install our Nuna Pippa XL car seat so we are ready for our baby to arrive. We will be back to buy the other awesome products and quality toys as our baby grows.

I stopped in Pacifier with a friend yesterday to look at the car seat and stroller I was registered for in person. What I got was a much more in depth experience which in the end had me switching out the one I registered for for a different one (a less expensive one- so not an up sell situation). Jon and Rachel took a great deal of time to talk though all of the features and differences of each car seat and stroller and continued to switch out parts so that I could test them out and make an informed decision. I had such a great experience and got such better information then what I had read on line when researching. Not to mention the adorable clothes they have in there! Would definitely recommend to any parents to be or family and friends shopping for unique and adorable gift ideas!

Pacifier North Loop is hands down the best baby store in Minneapolis!! Alissa, John & Rachel and the entire staff are so amazing and always super helpful and so kind!! If you join their rewards program they always send great coupons and they have some great sales as well. You can get everything from clothes to books, cribs, essentials, accessories & toys! Shopping there is easy as they have a great area for the little ones to play and be entertained while you look. Thx Pacifier!

I love boutique shops. Pacifier is a boutique baby store located in the North Loop of Minneapolis. The owner and her employees are very welcoming. They are very helpful and have great advice. I have purchased swaddles, headbands, and other accessories like pacifier clips in the store. What prompted me to write this review was their multiracial babydoll display today. Its very nice to see that the non white dolls werent hidden behind the white dolls. I understand that multiracial dolls dont always sell as well as others, but it is very important that they be sold in stores. A friend of mine recently visited a top rated baby store in Denver and could only find one doll that looks remotely like her child. It was shoved behind other dolls and the employee was surprised that they even sold black baby dolls. That sounded crazy so I was out on a mission today to see what it was like in Minneapolis. Im happy to have found what I found at Pacifier.They are $$$$

I cant say enough good things about Pacifier and this store specifically. They are so incredibly patient and helpful. I have been wanting a good running stroller and final bit the bullet to get the Thule running stroller. My husband and I went in last weekend and Kelsey was so helpful in helping us pick out the stroller and even put it together for us. I then unfortunately had some issues with the Thule stroller and Alyssa was so helpful. I brought it back in, she took a video of the problem and then called the Thule rep herself. She offered to take the stroller back even if the store had to eat the cost. I love the stroller and didnt want to return it so she tracked down a new one at a different store I can go pick up. Unbelievable customer service!!!

I have been shopping at Pacifier since I moved to Minneapolis 2 years ago. It is a place where I know I can always go for the perfect gift for a friend with kids, to find a much needed item for my 2 year old daughter, or to find lots of fun, expertly curated baby items I didnt even know I needed. Most recently I purchased a Veer wagon and a Rumble Seat attachment for my Uppa Baby Vista stroller in preparation for the birth of my second child. Rachel at the North Loop location walked me through what I would need to make my Vista transition to a 2 child stroller very clearly. Hannah at the Edina location helped me pick a wonderful new baby arrival gift. I cant say enough wonderful things about this store, the environment it creates, all the employees and managers and the amount of help and information you get upon walking through the doors. I dont shop anywhere else for baby things!!

Recently we were gifted a few very lovely products from Pacifier Kids in downtown Minneapolis (baby due in late Fall). When we arrived to the store to pick them up (which was more convenient for us, they were more than happy to ship them had we preferred), Rachel was incredibly kind and patient with us (especially as we had showed up within an hour of their closing), and took us through how to assemble and interchange any and all pieces (bassinet, carseat, stroller). Rachel (and co) called us when a few of our other registry pieces arrived, stored them safely, and greeted us happily when we returned, as well as lugging them out to the car for us. She has also been more than adamant that we call if we have any questions about any of our products. If you’re looking for an expert to provide non bias information on car seats and strollers you need to go see Jon at Pacifier. My fiancé and I are expecting twins and found ourselves online searching for car seats and strollers, reading various reviews and ultimately becoming overwhelmed and confused. We decided to go to Buy Buy Baby and Nordstrom but found not only was the staff uneducated but they also didn’t carry some of the products we were most interested in or items that were compatible for twins. We were frustrated; not knowing what to buy and hesitant to simply make our best uneducated guess on products we knew little about and haven’t even been able to see in person. On a whim, my fiancé and I stopped by Pacifier and were almost immediately greeted by Jon and felt very welcomed. Unlike the others, he not only carried the products we were interested in but had a wealth of information to share about them - everything from safety to ease of use and anything in between. Beyond Jon’s expert knowledge, we appreciated his non-pushy, fact based approach - he asks questions to learn about your needs and based on that information provides the best personalized solution.Needless to say, if you’re looking for someone to cut through the fog, you owe it to yourself to go see Jon at Pacifier. We couldn’t be happier with our purchase and overall experience.Almost forgot to mention, Jon and Rachel (Jon’s colleague) are 2 of 8 certified and licensed car seat installers in the state of Minnesota - they literally go to your car, install the seat(s) perfectly and then have the other check their work to ensure perfection.Lastly, I was surprised to notice there were a couple of the negative reviews mostly revolving around price. You should disregard them; I researched extensively and everyone is priced the same or higher than Pacifier. Sadly, I think these reviews are from uninformed people who have a case of sticker shock - the reality is they won’t find a better deal anywhere else.Thank you Jon and Pacifier!

Super cute selection, but the prices are insane. They just started carrying Honest products and marked the laundry detergent up to $18. (From $12.) Theres a 30-40% higher mark-up here than anywhere else. We dont shop here because wed rather support a competitively priced store. If youre looking for fantastic baby gifts, head down a block and over a block and check out, I Like You. Adorable, handmade and much better pricing.

Pacifier has amazing service and things you wont find anywhere else. They have strollers you cant get anywhere else. Clothes you cant get anywhere else. Toys, books, gifts you cant get anywhere else. The owners are personally involved in all aspects of the business and are parents themselves. Pacifier is the epitome of authentic, local high quality shopping.

I’m baby naive and was overwhelmed when it came to registering. I was greeted with smiling faces and had the most lovely baby shopping experience to date. What a fantastic store!

Its hard to imagine an owner of a business -especially a trendy little baby boutique, can be so rude to his customers. If you see a middle-aged little bald guy who walks around acting like hes better than everyone else and is trying so hard to look way cooler than he actually is, I would walk the other way and save yourself the time you would otherwise have wasted. What a jerk.

Cute store, seems a little unorganized. Very pricey for small name brands that arent even organic or handmade. I really thought they would have a larger selection of items that were. Did grab a couple cute finds tho!

We love this place for many reasons! Their selection, price matching of strollers and carseats to other major retailers and their customer service. We had an issue with a carseat and 3 months later they helped us by giving us a new carseat and handling the return with the carseat company! We love them and will continue to give them our support.

As a single father on a budget once upon a child not only has better value but a larger selection. I had the displeasure of meeting one of the owners, a nasty little man, backstabbing others in the biz, leaving a very bad taste in my mouth. This place is a overrated waste of money.

Management at this location is rude to paying customers. If you want customer service with attitude, this place might be for you. If not, other locations have much better customer service; this location should be avoided.
