Amazing experience! I am in a variety of furniture stores fairly regularly but I had not been in the Becker Minnetonka location before. Tonight I stopped in quick looking for a coffee table - not really expecting to find what I was looking for and furniture lead times are painfully long right now anyway. My expectations were low. I was so surprised to not only find an amazing table set - but to also be able to take it home same day! In addition, the sales people working there were so happy and kind and helpful- they greatly exceeded my expectations. Thank you to Nina and the very helpful crew in store on 9/30. I recommend highly and will be back soon! Thank you for a great experience!
Michael helped me. He did a great job of showing me options and then giving me time and space to consider. I ended up buying a couch and a coffee table on sale. I’m very happy with my transaction and I can’t wait to have the couch delivered.
In shopping for furniture for my new home, I primarily was looking to try and find pieces that were in stock, so I wouldnt have to wait weeks/months for my furniture to arrive. Becker not only had the largest number of pieces in stock, but quite the variety. Upon visiting the showroom, Nina provided flawless customer service. I appreciated her expertise and knowledge of the different options available. She clearly knows her stuff! If youre in the market for some new furniture, be sure to stop by Becker and ask for Nina!

Had many choices of furniture to view and look at. We found some stools we liked but we had to get the floor model with some from other locations. Limited delivery times also. We will consider coming back in the future for a sofa purchase.
I always enjoy shopping and/or browsing at Becker Furniture. in Minnetonka. The associates are friendly and willing to answer questions and give advice on the layout of the store, as well as explain any sales that may be going on at the time. We bought 2 chairs and an area rug there recently and it was so easy. I really like the free delivery option, too.

I walked into Beckers with very low expectations of finding or even buying my couch. Juan was a great help with a laid back approach. We had been looking for a rocker for our living room for quite some time. We went to the Minnetonka and Becker locations and didn’t find what we wanted. We decided to look at the Burnsville location! Totally impressed. Loved the showroom. It was nicely laid out. The other two locations need some work. From the moment we walked into the store, we felt it was different than the other locations we had visited. We were greeted promptly by Ken A. He was polite, considerate, knowledgeable and most importantly not pushy! We found a chair that we decided to purchase and we went to process our payment. Jazmine was there to assist us! She was personable, efficient and helpful! You could tell that she and Ken and were a great team together and worked well together. They both had the goal to please the customer! They were genuine in showing us this attribute! It was definitely ingrained in their method of delivering EXCELLENT customer service! We were happy with our shopping experience and hopefully it will continue with the delivery process and using the rocker. Give those 2 sales associates the recognition and monetary rewards they deserve! They BOTH are gems!However, on another note, while I was trying to work with the other locations, I tried to place phone calls several times! In BOTH locations, the phones rang continuously and I wasn’t even able to leave a voicemail because YOUR MAILBOXES WERE FULL. Not a good first impression of a company who wants to earn a customer’s business! If I hadn’t had a credit with Becker, I definitely would have moved on and given another store (who deserved our business) the sale. I realize there have been cutbacks on your sales associates and staff, but it makes logical sense to get your bases covered for the initial impression of the company. When the phone rings continuously and you can’t even leave a message, that tells the caller that you don’t care if we give your store a chance. This BASIC 101 CUSTOMER SERVICE RULES and have been since the beginning of time!Another thing, I feel your prices are a lot higher than other furniture vendors. Often times, the quality is the same.Thanks for letting me give you my honest and frank response!

Worst furniture experience. We ordered furniture in April of 2020 and it arrived in the wrong color. Fast forward to July 2021, countless phone calls and emails trying to figure out what is going on, it finally comes in in the correct color. Day of delivery they call and need to pick up the set in the wrong color which is now in storage a mile away because it has been over a year and our house is complete/we moved. He says that won’t fit in the schedule and will call me back, never hear back. Such a joke. I tried to be patient as I know COVID impacted businesses, but this has been the worst experience imaginable.
The showroom was easy to navigate. Salesman Juan was very helpful and not pushy or high-pressure. He took his time to talk about what we wanted and then took us to a variety of items to help us narrow down our true needs. Having been in sales myself Juan did what I would do: Give the customer information and let them make the decision. Overall I was very please with the prices and selections available to me. The item has yet to be delivered but I expect to quite happy with the purchase.

Though our furniture was delayed 6 weeks past the original date, we received no phone call or communication from the store regarding the new expected delivery of the couch. When we called for more information, we were given a different date each time, and when we called to discuss this with a manager, we were sent to the sales rep, who sent us back to the manager, who sent us to the sales rep, who told us it wasnt his fault that the shipment was delayed.I will not be recommending Becker furniture because of the poor service.
I was pleasantly surprised to find exactly what I was looking for, in stock, and getting delivered in less than 2 weeks! Michael was helpful and patient while I shopped options. The full process exceeded my expectations for furniture shopping, especially in covid times!

We had great success with Michael at the Minnetonka store. He spent a great deal of time with us on Saturday and Sunday. We purchased 2 recliners and a sectional at 50% off - a great deal. The only reason Im giving 4 stars instead of 5 is the protection plan was not fully explained to us; the cost for the 5 yr plan was close to $1000. It came as a surprise but the plan covers a great deal and hopefully worth the cost. We understand we should have asked but assumed it would be more reasonable. We will shop at Becker again. Thank you for a good experience.

The manager Dee was excellent! We arrived right when the store opened Jan. 1 New Years Day and she guided us to what we wanted to look at and helped us until a salesperson arrived. We appreciated her help! And she gave us free delivery as the first customers in the store at 10am--a nice surprise and much appreciated!
I like the mattress but at checkout, a bomb was dropped that in order to get the trial period, I had to spend another $130 for a mattress cover.Naturally this upset me, as mattress covers and very good ones at that are around $35. Becker should be grateful my mattress is 20 yrs old and anything would do, but to spend $1,400 + on the new one and expected to pay another $130 to get something they advertise for for a free trial, well not mention the cost to get it had I known the two days earlier when I first looked at the mattress, I would have gone elsewhere.
My partner was looking for a recliner and she had purchased furniture from this store in the past, we were shown a variety of chairs in her price range but left when she couldn’t decide. They did have a very nice power recliner that fit her size very well and was on clearance but was still outside her price range. We left the store and continued our search with the same results - no decision on a recliner. I went back later and purchased the power recliner for a surprise. My sales guy was friendly and knowledgeable about the recliners and the store arranged the recliners nicely. Put this store on your list and you’ll be pleased with the excellent service.

Terrible customer service. Asked the sales person to look at an item and he kept on texting on his phone. Had to ask him 3 times in order to get a reply. Staff is not friendly when you walk in they just say hello and dont ask if you need any help. Very disappointed in customer service. Would not recommend for people to come to this location. Some of the worst customer service and follow through I’ve ever experienced. I had a custom dining room table and chairs made by manufacturer Canadel. Bad quality. I ended up returning the table and took one off the floor for a third of the cost and better quality. We liked the comfort of the chairs, though, so we decided to have them make a new set. They arrived and were also of poor quality—nicks, dents, cracks, unfinished areas, and the fabric was crooked. I called Becker, got three separate 1-800 numbers, one department passing me on to the next. I sent an email with photos to two different people in customer service because no one ever got back to me the first time. It seems like when you finally do get through to someone they pass it to the next person and never look back to make sure things were taken care of and then you’re constantly having to call and try to get ahold of someone to try to get a resolve. Very frustrating and time consuming. Customers should not have to put in this much work to get help from a company.
I was dreading having to purchase a new mattress set. Michael at the Minnetonka location made the experience pleasant and enjoyable! No pressure and answered lots of questions. Had a new bed by the end of the week !
For many reasons, I wont buy from this company. I could spell it out, yet its not worth it. Chose wisely.Edit: After spending hours in the store and on the phone.. getting two different couches, this one is still coming apart (not even two weeks of having the couch). Staples coming off the upholstery and the lever for the one manual recliner broke off.

I was in the market for a power recliner loveseat, and then reconsidered and ended up with matching recliners to replace our old ones. We were able to match the leather perfectly, and the comfort is fantastic. I can’t wait till they get here. Juan was very patient and well experienced in the products he sells. Ordered our furniture end of November, was told that we would have all of it by the end of December and still have not received it. We are very disappointed. If we were given a more accurate date we wouldnt be this disappointed.

Dont even bother ordering anything on line, it is all a scam, nobody has any idea whats going on. Its been 4 months since we ordered a dresser and a nightstand. Every two weeks we have to call and spend an hour on hold until someone says they can see in the system the order will be delivered in two weeks. Now four months later, we still dont have the order and now they dont even know where it is. They always say they will communicate to you and they never do.Worst place ever, do not waste your time or money, it is a scam, a mayor SCAM!!!!!!!!Not lets see how long it takes to get a refund. I recommend you record the conversations and take note of dates, names and all the BS that you will get. Once I put together all the screenshots I will post.

I ordered bedroom furniture set, loved it, but they ordered the wrong size nightstand. I decided I wanted a second one, but wanted the size I originally ordered. So I went to the Mtka store and explained, the manager said no money down, when the two smaller nightstands come in I can exchange the bigger one then. I called 5 weeks later to check on the order and was told that they were never ordered because there was NO MONEY DOWN! As I said earlier, I was told I have the one to exchange which would be considered down payment. I am not happy that now I have to wait another 6-8 weeks for the nightstands that should have been delivered with my original order in August!!!
Salesman was very polite and helpful in selecting the right mattress for me. In just less than 2 days, I will be the proud owner of a brand new Tommie Copper mattress. Thank you Becker Furniture World for all of your incredible service.

Shopping for new bed. Met by salesman Mike shortly after entering store. Mike was fantastic. He is very personable and knowledgeable about different mattress types. We took the sleep diagnostics test and Mike showed us several different types based on our scores. We found a bed that fits us perfectly. Highly recommend you go see Mike if your looking a good night sleep.

Purchased a sectional months ago.. Heard nothing from them about delivery for weeks.. On the expected delivery date i called to find out what the situation was and was told that our couch was delayed for months.. Understanding that with covid, supply chains are a bit screwy, we went in to speak with the manager who seemed very helpful in helping us pick out a different sectional that was not on such back order and getting it all switched over to that one instead. Well once again, the delivery date has come and gone with no communication from them. And now, when I call, i sit on their hold system for 30 minutes only to eventually be turned over to a voicemail. Which does not get returned. I have been told that I would get calls back a total of 5 times now and have not received a single call back. Not sure what they are trying to pull but its all seeming pretty scammy to me.

The salesman Chris who was helping me was so arrogant and off putting that it made me really uncomfortable. Somehow he turned me buying a mattress into a way to rant about himself and not let me exit the conversation. Weird vibes.

I am a retired person and I was not sure what to ask about the prices and or the delivery ! She asked me if I would like for her to call me and she did and it only took a few minutes to get my entire order completed!! We found a couch online and then went to the store to physically see said couch. From there we were told the couch we wanted was a custom order bc we wanted the color available online vs what was in the show room. The process to place the order in store took nearly 45 mins and our estimated delivery date was 3 months out. All tolerable circumstances until our delivery date came and went without contact. Followed up with the store where I found out our sales associate was no longer with the company and our purchase was transferred to a different associate. Again tolerable... until we were informed our delivery date was pushed out an additional 6 weeks and the replacement sales associate should have informed us. Asked if I could cancel the order and I was told no bc it was a custom order... again a couch we saw on their website was classified custom. I was informed a manager would call the following day to discuss the order and that call has not been made. Very dissatisfied with my experience and fully intend to never purchase from Becker Furniture again.

Eric helped us find the perfect table for our dining room. We originally thought we wanted something lighter, but he recommended a darker table to accent the room. Glad we went with his decision as it looks absolutely amazing in the room! We also got a chair side table and cocktail table to go in our living room and they also go well with the table color. Eric was very quick to add those to our original quote and getting it emailed to us.The delivery was very fast. Scheduled for 8:30am, they arrived 10 minutes early and had the table, chair side table, 4 chairs, and the 2 leaves in by 8:35. They covered the doors with blankets to protect from scratching and managed to get this fully assembled table up a tight staircase.
Really bad experience with Becker! the worst ever!! Ordered a $3K sectional sofa on 02/24/2020, ETA changed many times from Mar end to May end to June end, then eventually delivered on 7/2/2020. One day after the delivery team left, the control panel on left recliner did not work. Called to filled a claim, a service tech was scheduled in 2 weeks later to trouble shoot the issues, then ordered a replacement part to the manufacturer. 3 days after the tech left, the control panel on the right reclines stopped working! :( Called the customer service again, they scheduled the tech to come in, then cancelled a week later to save cost, they just ordered two sets of control panels, then submitted the order to the manufacture, then told me to wait till the end of Aug 2020 to receive the part. On 08/27/2020, I called them again to check the status, then customer service told me sorry, we mess up the order, the original order was returned by the manufacturer, and nobody was ever working on it, they have to correct the error to re-send it to manufacturer! :( lessons learned - i called every week to find out the status, on 09/14 they told me the ETA for the parts is 9/23/2020. After 7 months since the order was placed on 02/24/2020, i still do not have a working sectional sofa in my house!!! what an experience with Becker!! - too bad, the worst ever! Stay away with Becker based on my experience!
I came in to the store with an agenda. I had spent considerable time on the website, and wanted to see what was on the showroom floor. Juan was able to help me first by listening and then asking questions. He found the best options and I came away with more satisfaction with my purchase than I had expected.
The sales staff at the store were great! We had a house fire and had to replace all our furniture and they made the selection process very easy by their friendly and knowledgeable manner. Kansas, our sales representative, really took care of us well. He is friendly, knowledgable, trustworthy, etc. Id highly recommend this Becker location!Also, the furniture delivery crew were great. They arrived on time, were friendly and helpful and did a great job placing and setting up the furniture ... and there was a lot of it! Thanks for your great work!

Absolute WORST customer service I think I have ever had at the Minnetonka store. My salesperson was good but the followup post purchase has been horrendous. Ordered my couch February 16 with an estimated delivery date of March 15.This was pre-Covid. Date was pushed to early April and I was notified of that and was okay with it. Covid hit. No one ever called with an update but due to Covid, I was okay with that. FINALLY, I call them mid-May and the gal who answered said oh yeah, its here. We just need to schedule delivery and collect the balance. I kind of thought Why didnt THEY call me?Its gets better. I schedule and receive delivery for May 23. THREE WEEKS AGO (Im writing this June 12). Delivery guys were great BUT the couch is missing a part and its impossible to recline without. Delivery guys told me they would call service before leaving my home.A week goes by. Nothing. I call the store manager. I get NO WHERE. No one has EVER called me back except this past Saturday (June 6 or Monday June 8 - I cant remember. A gal from Becker service calls. She needs to serial number on the couch so she can order the part. Very difficult to find but I did. WHY was this part JUST ordered this past week? She PROMISED me she would email me to give me an ETA on the part. Obviously - nothing. NO contact at all. $1804.25 and I have a non-functioning couch. Thank you Becker.

Just wanted to tell you what a positive experience we had at your Minnetonka Store. Our salesperson was Amanda. She was knowledgeable and very helpful. Just a real pleasant and personable young lady. I have been dreading furniture shopping with a vengeance. I told her what I was looking for, she led to to several choices and in less than 30 minutes we picked out fabric and placed an order for two new chairs. We thought we’d make the rounds and spend the entire President’s Day sales shopping and we found what we wanted first stop and close to home!
The sales woman who helped me was good at giving me enough space, but being there when I needed her. That’s the kind of service I appreciate. She help me find some things based on my style and then afterwards she even helped me carry it to my car because I had my four-month-old son with me. That was super nice of her.
Could not be happier with the bedroom set and mattress I purchased from Becker! This was my first time buying furniture that wasn’t from Ikea or Target. It was intimidating at first walking in and seeing all the options. Michael, the sales person that helped me was so nice and knowledgeable and made the whole process super easy! Amber helped with picking out a mattress and again was so helpful and answered the many questions I had with a smile!! Becker will definitely be the first place I go when I need more furniture. The somewhat spendy price tag is absolutely worth it. Also, free delivery!! They gave me a 3 hour window of delivery (which is amazing) The delivery men were very professional and quick. They had the whole bedroom set and mattress moved in and assembled within 30 minutes! Great service from start to finish.
BEWARE OF PREDATORY LENDING. I purchased approximately $4700 worth of furniture at the end of 2017 and was encouraged by Becker to take advantage of their 1 year same as cash financing option through Synchrony Bank. I could have easily paid for this in cash or any other credit card, but I was lead to believe this was a good deal.But heres the kicker...After 1 year of auto-payments being deducted from my bank account, Synchrony Bank auto-deducted approx $1811 in retroactive interest for the previous year. Thats 38% interest on a $4700 furniture purchase!I do not mind paying a reasonable credit card fee (of course this is what I thought I was getting) but apparently the fine print allows this line of predatory lending.When I asked both Synchrony Bank and Becker Furniture World to rectify this outrageous fee, I was basically told theres nothing anyone can do about it, and Becker continues to partner with Synchrony knowing they will legally be ripping their customers off in a big way.

Recently purchased a sectional w/cuddler. Matt our sales person was super easy to work with. From sales to delivery everything went perfectly and delivery was exactly when they said it would be. The automated calls let you know almost to the minute when the truck will arrive. The delivery guys were nice, careful and clean. I will be back! Thanks Becker

SHADY SALES AND BAD PRODUCTLeft the store happy with our service and purchase, of a sectional, back in April of 2019. Waited the three weeks for our custom order and delivery, only to find out we didnt get what we thought we ordered. Needless to say we were disappointed, but decided wed make due. But this week, after less then six months of use, its literally falling apart. The (one!) bolt that holds the sections together comes loose, and we have to constantly screw it back in. Id recommend buying elsewhere as this was nearly $1600 well never get back!TURN BACK NOW!

Ben (sales person) addressed all my concerns about buying a power recliner. We spent a good amount of time comparing recliners that would best match my needs. The size, color, and quality were all covered. The recliners are on order and I hope that they (bought two recliners) work out well.
