It was great! The customer service was OUTSTANDING. I was helped without having to seek help out, the person found a golf ball he didnt think they had and brought it to me later. They were friendly, smiled, werent standing around talking to each other - so very different from the other golf store. The only disappointing thing is the Ladies gloves, accessories and clothing sections are small compared to the mens. It is hard to find really nice, cute outfits, skirts, shirts to wear in MN. My mom has friends send her things from CA!

I have been here probably 10-15 times this year. And pretty sure I’ve spent money here each time = loads of money. Everything has been great when I don’t have to deal with the guys up front. Anytime I had issues with my purchases or clubs just following PGAs 90 day play policy, the staff were very rude each time. Once I get my TSI3 Driver back from them, it will definitely be my last visit.

I recently purchased new irons and a driver from this location. The wait for my Taylormade irons wasn’t fun, but staff at the store did a great job communicating with me about what was happening. I have been very pleased with my purchase. Two days ago the shaft on my driver snapped in half after hitting a ball on the driving range. I found it very odd this would happen after having my previous driver for several years without any issues. When I stopped in at the store in Wayzata, it was explained to me in a very polite way that Titleist may not warrant the shaft which had broke. Furthermore I would have to wait for a response from Titleist regarding whether or not this would be covered under warranty before it could be replaced by the store as this is store policy. Obviously, I was not pleased at all with this explaination and spoke with The store manager Nick about my displeasure. We had a respectful exchange about what my expectations were and what we could do to come to a resolution. Even though he didn’t have to do so and was fully authorized to let me walk out of the store dissatisfied with my broken driver, Nick found the same shaft in the store and replaced my broken one for me. In my opinion, Nick went above and beyond to help me out. I will continue to purchase my golf equipment at this store for years to come and look forward to coming back for my wife’s new set! Thank you Nick!

I went in to buy the full set of G410 Irons, Hybrid, 3 Wood, and Driver and one of the workers was absolutely rude. I got zero help and when I put my name down he crossed it off 25 minutes later. That same worker said theres a zero chance that I could hit the clubs. So I just went over to second swing and they got me set for $2,000 worth of clubs and I got to hit every club before leaving satisfied. For me being younger I believe he over looked me and didnt care at all.

I went in to buy a range finder and had already done my research on which one I wanted. I went to pick it out and the kid at the counter asked me why I wanted it and he straight up said my reasons weren’t good. It came across and really arrogant and I almost decided to just walk out because I was so put off by it. There are other ways to suggest other options without coming across as condescending.

I came here to buy a Driver. After a wait at Club Fitting, someone finally began “fitting” me. As in he handed me one driver, left, did not come back, then had someone else come say I was done and had to wait in line again when I asked if maybe I could test out another driver. What a joke. I’ve seen better club fitting done at park golf courses. Will never step foot in this store again.

I recently visited the PGA Superstore for a 90 minute club fitting.This is actually the fourth fitting Ive had from different fitters in the last one plus year.I was curious to the differences from one to another.I knew I wanted to purchase new wedges and possibly new irons as well.My fitting was with Ian and he was fantastic.Of the different places Ive been, he was by far head and shoulders above everyone else I saw. He was also enjoyable to talk to.After it was all said and done, I decided on a new wedge setup and after a few tweaks on my irons, we concluded that they were perfect for me.If youre thinking of getting fit for new or even existing gear, this is the only place to go.Frank

Well stocked, but awful customer serviceArrogant service guy, simple requests/questions require an annoyed answer. Won’t give you the light of day unless you’re spending thousands on a new set. Simple grip change, lie adjustment questions clearly are a big waste of time for him. Definitely not going back, plenty of other golf stores with incredible service regardless of how much you spend.

I went in yesterday to find myself a first set of clubs, fully expecting to deal with a disappointed salesman upon discovering I wasnt able to write a blank check and get the nicest set in the store. What actually transpired was likely the best shopping experience Ive ever had with a store associate.After wandering around for a minute or two, my friend and I walked up to a couple associates at the testing simulator, intending on jumping right into swinging clubs.We were greeted by Jon, who asked about my skill level and budget before going any further. After thorough explanation of my options and which routes could provide me the most value, we grabbed a couple sets of clubs that were within my price range and I was allowed to sheepishly hit as many balls as I needed to determine which clubs felt the best and would improve my game without emptying my bank account.Jon took the time to explain the design of the clubs, what to look for as a newcomer to the sport and swinging clubs, and made genuine conversation with my friend and I. He made the learning and, ultimately, the purchasing process incredibly painless and low-pressure.Jon carried my clubs up to the front while we walked around the store for another twenty minutes or so and helped me find an inexpensive stash of balls that I wouldnt feel too bad about firing off into the woods or the pond, but also wouldnt be inconsistent and hinder my game.The icing on the cake is that we went in on a weekend an hour or two before closing, so the odds were even higher that the associates wouldnt want to be working. This didnt end up being the case.All in all, my experience shopping here was entirely positive. I wouldnt hesitate to shop here first and recommend them to others, and I think Jon deserves a raise.

Amazing customer service and lesson! I was greeted and asked by several employees if I needed any assistance while I waited for my lesson. I was able to warm-up in a bay prior to my lesson with Andy. He fixed my horrible slice in one lesson and explained issues I was having with my swing on video.I went to the dome today and hit most of my iron shots straight. I will definitely be back and am looking forward to my next lesson.

Ordered clubs back in August was told two weeks and shipped to your door. Here it is October and still no clubs. A few phone calls of hearing yup they are on the way and since August a few emails and when sent questions back no answer. I called today October 19 and they are suppose to be shipped not holding my breath. When I called today they couldnt keep the story together he even told me they were shipped on the 13th and I said hmmm its the 29th story changed. I had to cancel two trips due to no clubs asked about compensation and heard the Covid line, I understand that but how about communication? Its not my fault you have 60 customers waiting for clubs and that you were gone 4 days. If you had better communication I wouldnt be leaving you a 1 star review.

My husband and I visited this store multiple times over the last few weeks. I decided that golfing was a sport that I wanted to try as my husband has been golfing for years. I would agree with other reviews that we were not approached by anyone in sales to help us on our first visit. This was actually fine with us. We were not looking for help as we just wanted to see inventory and get a feel for pricing. We went back a few days later after doing some research. We were ready to buy clubs, but actually decided to wait based on an employee recommending that I take lessons prior to investing in clubs. I took a lesson with Benny and I could not be happier. He is easy to work with and a great instructor. I look forward to returning for more lessons. We ended up returning to the store again and buying a set of clubs. We were approached by an employee at this visit who was again very knowledgable. Overall, I would recommend their services.

Skipped over in line and offered no explanation... Went to buy a new set of irons (mizunos or srixons) and they put my name down to hit in the simulators, was second on the list. Wandered around a bit, looked on the sheet (out in the open) and they had added a few more names after me. Man ahead of me was helped, they crossed out his name, I was next. Looked at the sheet a few minutes (been waiting about 20 minutes total) later and the person after me had their name crossed out and saw a new person hitting in a simulator. Asked for an explanation (maybe they had an appointment, maybe the person left?) I was told sorry, dont know how that happened, which tells me that I was indeed just skipped over. Asked how that happened (its a simple list) and was told again, sorry, dont know how that happened. This was coming from a kid (20 years old?). I told him to go find out and he was annoyed and said, like I said Im sorry. At this point profanity comes out of my mouth and an older worker next to the kid gives a Hey Hey the kid then tells me to go to 2nd Swing, which I suppose was to be an insult... what a joke. UPDATE: just bought Mizuno jpx forged online and will pay for a professional fitting, not these jokers. PGA should be more careful who they license to.

I like the size and availability of products at this store but the staff has been nothing but dismissive and rude. My wife and I went in to look at a new iron set for her, nobody came to help and when we looked online, we found the same iron set for $175 less than what they were selling them for.We simply asked if they could match or get close to matching the price we found and the employee simply scoffed and asked well where did you find it for that price? Not helpful what so ever. Not very happy with my experience here so far, which I have been here 5 times now.

Our club fitter Ben could not have been more helpful. He spent close to 40 minutes with our 15 year old son fitting him for a driver. Overall, we had a great experience after being at two other competitors earlier in the day. Great personal service if you can be patient for your turn.

Excellent selection of pretty much anything a golfer could need. The prices are about what you would expect shopping at a major retail store. The only thing I would like to see is the sales associates paying a little more attention to customers, there were plenty of them and none of them approached me. I had to track one down for a question. Even so, I will be a frequently returning customer.

This is the only big box golf store thats worth going to in the area. Huge selection and helpful staff. The only thing is, you really need to make sure you see out help. This isnt a problem, but some people may have a difficult time if they dont speak up. For example, if you want to use the simulator to test golf clubs, ask. Otherwise, you could be sitting for awhile waiting.

Went to the Minnetonka location near Ridgedale Mall. Plenty of staff in the store, but every single one of them ignored me and my girlfriend. We had to actively seek out a staff to ask questions about irons. During my questions, the employee walked away before I was done, and we had to actively seek him out again, where he asked us to wait a minute, while he looked at a driver himself, unrelated to my visit. While looking for new gloves, another staff, who was stocking, gave very short one worded answers. The only staff that talked to us without being talked to was the gentleman at the register on our way out. I had merchandise in my hands ready to go, and decided to put it back and go to another store.

I try to walk into every retail store with an open mind but this visit really caught my attention. Ive been in the service industry throughout my high school and college years and currently work in patient care at a local hospital. I had called earlier in the AM to see if I needed to book a club fitting. I was transferred to the club fitting department and the gentleman I spoke with said that I could just come in with your clubs and I would be attended to. So I did. This was my first time trying to fit my clubs with a knowledgeable individual. I walked into the store and made it past the front counter until I heard Brett from Duluth, MN rudely ask Where you going with that bag? I explained that I was heading to the club fitting section. I was then asked by Brett to leave my bag behind the counter and switch out my clubs to their bag, which is understandable. When I went back to the club fitting section, the gentleman back there acted as if I needed an appointment and was inconveniencing him by just bringing in my clubs. Classic case of the right hand not talking to the left. When one of the stalls opened up, Brett passing by said Go warm up in there again in a very rude and terse manner. The overall club fitting was good and informative done by a gentleman that I wont name but I wasnt impressed. Again he seemed to rush me in and out because I didnt buy clubs from there (I had got a new set over this past winter). Overall and very poor experience and the only reason I didnt give 1 star was for the information I was given during the club fitting. I will never be returning to this store as it seems to be a pattern judging by past reviews. This is a retail store that should be focused on customer service and being more inviting to purchase clothing/clubs/balls/etc. from there. It really feels like a place of cocky, know-it-alls that act like they are golf gods. I really believe an overhaul of upper management needs to be done to set the tone for people on the retail floor.

I stopped into the store around noon on Tuesday figuring it wouldnt be busy. About six shoppers were milling about and I stood looking for a new set of clubs. I walked around the entire store and saw no one helping customers. All of the employees were behind the counter doing something other that helping customers and one was assisting someone in the cage. I stood around for about 20 minutes and never saw an employee helping customers or doing anything else in the retail area of the store. I was prepared to spend $2,000 on new clubs but will find somewhere else to do so.

The store does offer nice clearance prices on some clothing which is the one nice thing, but other than that, do not try to get actual golf gear if you are looking for any professional assistance.

I should have read the reviews before going to the store. Like a lot of other reviews... the customer service is atrocious. I went in completely set on buying irons that I needed for the weekend. Was not helped for 15-20 minutes so I just started browsing and hitting clubs until I tracked someone down across the store later. When I finally spoke with someone they told me to the irons I liked (used) were a set made by the manufacturer only from 5-PW, so I purchased. When I returned home I looked up to verify and saw it was actually missing a club and they were incorrect. When I called in to notify them, instead of apologizing, offering another club, or a discount.... they told me I could return and use in store credit. Way to treat your customers!

I ordered a brand new (unused) Scotty Cameron putter online for in store pickup and they forgot to process the order and had no idea what to do when I arrived at the store the following day. After it took multiple employees to figure it out they gave me a putter that had multiple dents in it. When I told them it was dented they said it has plastic on it as if plastic wrap somehow proved that it was not dented. Then they gave me another one that I later noticed had a scuff mark on it so I will be returning it and buying one from a store that actually sells new equipment. If I wanted a damaged putter I would have gone to 2nd Swing and purchased a used one. A brand new putter should be mint whether its $50 or $380. Lastly, the employees act snobby, which if pretty funny considering they have job that pays less than McDonalds and doesnt even require a high school diploma.

Extremely disappointed with this store. First of all, not that I must be greeted but the gentleman on the phone must have been having a bad day because he just stared at me and gave me an angry dirty look without even a head nod or a smile. While I started browsing the extremely expensive clothing, I noticed there were maybe 10 customers in the store, it was only 2:30pm. Not once was I approached for service assistance by the several employees working. Then I went to the golf club area, walked every aisle, noticed at least 5 people working in that area, and not one of them asked me if they can help. I went to find someone, and asked for help, and he seemed a bit annoyed, and to ignore me. Finally, I bluntly asked someone else for help, and they did not have what I was looking for. OK, I get that what I wanted was a couple years old however :No effort was made: Can I show you sometime else? Would you like to demo some other clubs since every hitting area is EMPTY?!!!These people have no idea if they could have sold me another club, irons, a driver, or a $2000 set! And maybe a hitting mat to practice with. And some tees, and balls? And a towel to keep them clean, and a iron cleaner, or a new glove. Maybe I would like them fitted, with upgraded high tech grips. And guess what, its my Mothers Birthday this week and she needs new gear too!Bottom line -----TERRIBLE SERVICE. Especially for a supposedly top shelf store. I do not see them making it with that HORRIBLE LEVEL OF SERVICE, especially with those prices. I realize many of the prices on clubs are regulated, but they have far over priced clothing and accessories, and again, terrible service, just in case I forgot to mention that.

Worst customer service! We bought a brand new Taylor Made M2 Iron set, and only played two rounds of golf with them. They turned out to be defective, I called this store since it’s where I purchased them and I was on a golf trip in Arizona, asking if they could help me get new clubs down in Arizona. They told me I was going to have to call Taylor Made myself and figure out the warranty policy. They were not willing to help me. I called the corporate customer service line and they said the same thing. Called a local pga store in Arizona and the employee did everything he could to ensure we had a great experience with the store. Very disappointed by the lack of help that the corporate customer service gave me. I am very blessed by the help of the local Arizona man who helped me, however I will no longer go back to this store because of this situation and there lack of help.

I was looking forward to this store opening for a long time but Im very disappointed in the level of service they provide. I was in there for over 40 minutes and nobody asked if I needed help so I went on a search for a employee. After 10 minutes of searching I gave up and walked out the door. I will be taking my money down the steet to Golf Smith. At least they value their customers and no I do not work there.

Today I went here and tried getting fitted for some wedges and then the man who we tried to ask for help multiple times kept walking away and giving me short answers. First time there and 0/10. We were not greeted at the door either. While we were checking out we tried to tell the cashier that we were not able to be helped she was rude nor was she apologetic about the terrible service.

I wont knock the selection of equipment and apparel...it is impressive. But after SO much anticipation for this store to open, I have become extremely disappointed. Since I work across 394 from the store...and also being a golf equipment wh0re, I have averaged a visit per week since its opening - sometimes to kill a lunch hour, but most often to make a purchase. As others have mentioned, the customer service is severely lacking. Long lines are common at check out, Ive walked out twice when the single open register is 8 to 10 people deep. On two other occasions Ive gone to purchase items only to have the clerk inform me upon checkout that those items were mis-marked and would cost more. No apologies, no sense of urgency, no apparent concern for quality control. Im done with this place...and it saddens me.

Waited for a clear range to hit some drivers and after about 20 minutes one cleared. The associate gave us 5 minutes to test 3 drivers, then kicked us off the range. I guess they dont want my money. Worst service ever.
