Staff was knowledgeable and helpful. Told me about the product I was looking for (LTD Guitar), showed me some other options that would be worth considering. I played a couple guitars and found one of their recommendations was actually much more what I was looking for! My son was poking around as well (5 year old), and the staff was very cool with him! Hes a pretty gentle kid, but still nice that he was able to play around with some stuff! I would highly recommend this place, very knowledgeable staff, good selection, and good prices!
Lovely. The staff was super helpful. If im not careful ill spend my whole bank account here
The gentleman working on 02/11 was very helpful and had great customer service. He helped me with a very odd request and went out of his way to help me. You don’t find that anymore so I couldn’t let it go unnoticed. Thanks!
Knowledgeable staff. Great gear comes through all the time.
Best guitar store in the Twin Cities in my opinion . Staff know what they are doing and will help you in anyway possible. They even have a few left handed guitars for the small percentage of us out there!
They have everything you need, when you get there though, you will see you hadnt included everything you needed on your list.
Waited a week or two to post this because I was pretty livid at the time. Objectively, here we go:After waiting saving and waiting patiently for the right guitar to pop up locally, it showed up on their website. Came in to check it out, went to the back of the store where all the guitars are located, everything checked out. Great. As I came back to the front, store employee as well as another patron were conversing without masks and the patron didnt even have a visible mask even through theres a pretty easy to read sign on the front door saying they are required. Totally unacceptable when were almost a year into a pandemic - I ended up walking right out of the store and decided that I will take my business elsewhere.Masking isnt political, its for the safety of both people working and people shopping and I dont want to end up getting sick when things could have been prevented. As soon as your actions start interfering with peoples right to live healthy lives, we have a real problem.Support local non-chain guitar shops.
Joey and link went above and beyond. Took care of all my issues. The most knowledgeable people in the twin cities.
My daughter and I are learning to play guitar and she wanted an acoustic to play and practice with. We walked in and immediately greeted by Joey who asked all the right question and provided us many options. He worked with my daughter to get just the guitar she wanted and I could not be happier with the experience.Thank you for a great first impression. We will be back.
Amazing service, great pricing, far better than guitar center
I came in to ask for assist with restringing a guitar, and since the store was slow, Joey took the time to not only restring my guitar, but clean and recondition the neck. Highly recommend this store for all Music needs especially Guitars. Everyone I talked to was extremely helpful.
I should have written a review awhile ago but better late...Staff are great, friendly and knowledgeable. Prices are the best Ive experienced in the area. Just hope they can ride out the storm and resume their excellent service...
Great service and great prices on good instruments. Very helpful people!
Staff was friendly, but not much for sale unless you’re a guitarist.
Amazing instruments! And a cool atmosphere
Though I live in the north east, I recently purchased a gorgeous vintage Les paul from this shop online. I called ahead of time to ask some questions and the staff was helpful. I wanted to share my appreciation for the quality and accurate description of the guitar, as well as the care taken to pack and ship it in a quality box! great experience!
Helpful people 👌
This store is organized well with a great selection of instruments. They offer lessons and repairs as well. The employees let me look in peace while letting me know they were there if I had any questions. I was impressed as I have not had good luck at other locations. I will definitely return here.
Great place friendly people with a lot of patience 😁 and they also do trade-ins very happy with my new ukulele! They also have a sound room where you can go and play electronic drums as long as you like... Awesome!
I brought in an instrument to sell and got an honest, fair price from the owner. He took time to explain the instrument to me, did some research, and came up with a very competitive offer. I felt the owner treated me with integrity and fairness. This store is a real asset to the community, in my opinion. I plan to shop there again in the future.
Im a guitar player and I am like a kid in a candy store when Im in this place. They have a great selection of guitars, amps, effects, and accessories and theres always new inventory every time I stop by. The staff is awesome and if you have questions, theyre not annoyed... theyre happy to help you out. If they dont know the answer, theyll call over the guy that does. Have a knowledgeable conversation for 20 mins about the pros and cons of American guitars versus imports, or grab a cable and plug in a guitar and check it out for a half hour. These guys are happy to oblige either way. Great service, great selection, and great prices.
Very knowledgeable and friendly answered all my questions without forcing me to purchase a higher prices option. In fact just the opposite, saved me $65. Great customer service and a way of making customers loyal . well done
Do NOT confuse this place for Guitar Center. These guys actually know what they are talking about. As a sort-of chain, I think this location is still trying to find their niche in the Twin Cities music gear market, so their stock kind of reflects that. But their staff is extremely knowledgeable with what they do have, new and used. No sales BS and no searching the internet for product information. Just straight gear talk. They also have been VERY good about honoring returns for the cables I bought from them with lifetime warranties.
Great collection of electrics, but equipment presence is lacking. Guys are fun as hell though.
Ordered a used amp online, it came much faster than I expected, was in great shape and included paperwork to confirm it was tested. Shipping was handled with care. Very satisfied! Will definitely keep this in mind for future music purchases, thank you!
A swell place. Good acoustic guitar selection. All the chords and wiring. Acoustic amps. Mixers. Lots of acoustic strings
Love the staff here, everyone is super friendly and helpful. A pretty good selection too!
Solid staff and well versed in equipment and guitars. I purchased a guitar and some miscellaneous gear a while back from Music Go Round in MTKA. Although I was happy with the guitar, I brought it back in with some questions after a few weeks of playing it had passed. They made a few small adjustments and straightened it out at no additional charge. They made sure I was a happy customer, that was important to me. I recommend checking them out!
Visited the store with a guitar question, the crew was very kind and knowledgeable and gave me some great help. Got some new strings and my guitar plays much better thanks to them! Id recommend to anyone who needs help with existing instruments, or is looking to start a new instrument.
Bought a used Loar acoustic guitar . Was disappointed that more cases or gigbags were not available, but understand this particular Music go round is up for sale
Mark, the jefe, goes above and beyond for customers. After a week my newly purchased used guitar had dropped and the intonation way off. Mark took it and put in some time to make it right and didn’t charge me a nickel. He deserves your business!
Great Experience. I worked directly with the owner of the store. He arranged to get me exactly the instrument we needed. It was in excellent condition, and it had been professionally cleaned and reconditioned. The best part was the price was better than anything I had found on all of the classified listing sites. I highly recommend checking with Corwin before you make a purchase anywhere else.
Awesome store!! Great selection and the employees are very helpful.
Good little shop. Helpful sales staff that will leave you alone to brows or will engage you if you have questions. Good used electric and acoustic guitar selection at many price points.
I ordered a Marshall Valvestate head from them (for a pretty good price) online. I called and asked about it and they answered all my questions. The gentleman I spoke with was knowledgeable and pleasant to work with.
AMAZING experience! Joey was extremely understanding, helpful and knowledgeable and had great advice, and Im really excited about the equipment I purchased :) thanks for everything!
Very helpful staff. Took back a speaker cabinet that turned out to have problems. TEST what you are buying before you leave - its mostly used equipment. Recommended.
Helpful, robust staff that is obviously invested in music outside of work. Fair prices and pretty good selection.
Very knowledgeable staff. Great instrument selection. The staff are very friendly and helpful and are happy to let you plug into any amp with any instrument and jam away with no pressure.
Big store. Great selection. Really helpful and knowledgeable staff. I will return to buy more.
Excellent customer service! Went the extra mile to help us with our son’s guitar. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Would recommend them to any music enthusiast.
Went to have a guitar repaired and setup. Super friendly and helpful and they did a great job.
This one is larger than most and they have a pretty good selection of quality used stuff. Staff was very helpful.
Good service. Prices a little up but I guess it pays off with service and an actual place to test the gadgets
The guy I always see when I go there comes off like a bit of a grump, but thats okay because Im a bit of a grump as well. In reality hes very friendly and so is the other staff Ive encountered. Ive always gotten very fair prices if Im selling something and this store has tons of really awesome instruments. Its always worth it when I go there.
Couldnt have asked for a better experience! We also were served by a very helpful staff member.
Great store of new and used musical equipment at reasonable prices.
Factory 2nds, high prices on Used gear. Offer less than pawn shops on your good used gear. Id go to Craigslist or eBay for better prices.
Very helpful sales staff, have sold multiple pieces of gear at this location and have gotten a fair price from kind people.
Sold me a BROKEN keyboard, they didnt even check to see if it was working beforehand they just sold it to me and I couldnt return it. The only good experience I have here is selling my trumpet, for a very good price.
Expensive but they have a lot of variety in quality recording gear. Staff is very helpful though. They have some awesome guitars.
Staff was very helpful. They tested the keyboard controller I wanted prior to my purchase even though it was right at closing time before a big snowstorm.
Beautiful store with a great selection of guitars, pro audio, and band instruments and pretty good prices. Knowledgeable staff and cool looking store
Found my new cable head quarters!
The staff here is super cool and offer you actual fair prices when you are selling. I went to the one in Burnsville to sell some of my stuff and the store owner offered me complete garbage prices. I passed and took my stuff to the Minnetonka location and got even more than I was expecting. You can tell that the staff here actually care about what they are doing. The Burnsville location however, feels like its ran more like a pawn shop.
Wide assortment of instruments. Many choices for plugs and electric cables. Good choices of strings; electric, steelstring, classical. They could use some more hardware effects boxes. They could make more of an effort to suppliment the mayhem of the electrified acoustic guitar player. Decent prices. I would go back to look over the rest of their acoustic instruments. Hopefully find a bass and an acoustic amp. Nice homeground location.
Nice fellas
Prices are higher than you may expect for used gear though the staff is friendly. The stock runs from less expensive student instruments all the way to pro quality instruments.
Friendly and educated staff, quality selection of instruments. Great place to buy or sell!
Hi, John Hurt....1/29/2017, I brought in a Fender guitar & traded it in on a acoustic, a Les paul & hard cases, I felt very welcome & was given a genorous trade in value, no pressure in selecting & trying out my purchases. Left with a great deal & reward points to boot!.....great staff & shop, keep up the great work
Good place to buy second hand musical items, though I felt its a bit costly
Great deals here. Good employees
Staff was knowledgeable and helped me find what I needed.
Friendly staff, ok prices, decent mix of used gear
Very helpful sales staff
Very helpful staff. Nice selection
As friendly as it can be! These guys will take good care of you!
Been their several times for guitar chords accessories.

Good selection of cymbals, reasonable prices
Yassss. Super cool place
A professional players treasure. Say no more, just go.
Quality dudes running this place. Go there.
Why buy new when slightly used will do?.....or something.
Not a great shop for professional musicians. Most products are for students.
Friendly, great selection!
These dudes bring the brutals.
