I purchased 2 Sauder closet/armoires from Home Depot for my daughters room. When assembling the first one I found two of the four plastic foot pieces missing. I had to take those two pieces from the other one I bought to complete the project. I was a bit upset at first because I did not want to have to lug that heavy box I had to open for the other pieces and return to home depot then wait on another one to ship to exchange just for those two pieces. I then calmed down realizing there were a lot of pieces in that box so based upon sheer volume for assembly, and packaging they do in their warehouse, it is reasonable to presume some of their products sent out will have missing pieces here and there. Instead, the next day I called the customer service number on the instruction manual and was able to speak with someone right away. The customer service representative was very helpful and apologetic for what had happened. The ordering process was very easy. I just let the representative know the part numbers I was missing and they sent them out priority mail, straight to my home which I received within 3 business days. way quicker and hassle free compared to dealing with Home Depot on the return. The representative also asked me for reference numbers and manufacture date to reference location of facility then document and address for quality control. Tonight I will be building the other armoire hoping there are no missing pieces besides the one I just had shipped. If there are, no worries, I know I can count on Sauder to send me what is missing with no issues. The armoire is a nice and very useful piece too.
