Went here for my first card game tournament. Admittedly Im a newer player, still learning the intricacies of the game. My opponents were all very friendly, and helpful. They gave me good advice on what I was doing right, and what I can do to improve. I had a lot of fun, and would recommend going to events.

People here are nice and make you wana build up your collection, in my opinion. My brother and I visit every once in awhile. Played 4 matches and didnt realize how much time has passed. Heh, Magic rules! I suggest Pioneer and/or Modern. Commander too, if you have a group to play with lol. Also my drinks were cold and the card case is pretty to look at while you wait for your buds to pick cards or sleeves.

Great spot to come and play, plenty of table space for games. Friendly and knowledgeable staff, and great prices on sealed product. Only improvement could be more individual cards; maybe binders to look through.

If you love to play card games, fighting games, and/or board games then this is the place to be. This is by FAR the best gaming store in the area. Great competitive scene and very easy going casual scene as well. Honestly all around I love this place and the people that come here. Every time I’m here, whether it be for a tournament, free play, or even to just hang out, I have the greatest time. The owner, staff, and community here are super friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. They really care for the community and want to help it grow. I don’t ever see myself wanting to go to any other shop as long as this one is around. 11/10

The best card shop Ive ever been to no joke. The owner is super personable and kind. The atmosphere is incredibly open and welcoming and feels very much like a family store. Its small but to me it doesnt matter. Five out of five for sure.

For an awesome and positive experience in gaming Rivals is the place! Great place to be for a casual game of trading cards to an awesome array of tournaments for those into the competitive card or video games! Everyone has something to offer and the owner is by far one of the best in the business.

This is a great gaming establishment with plenty of space to play any game. They offer plenty of tournaments for all games and the owner Dan is a top notch guy. The best owner Ive dealt with since I started playing card games 20 years ago. The people that play there are great to play with and get along with the environment is great all around. Also the owner goes above and beyond to make sure everyone is happy and having a great time and listens to the players and what they want.

As someone who is new to card games, Im glad to know that theres a shop nearby with a cool owner, as well as some good card packs at decent prices. Plus, Dragonball Super card games on Friday nights. Bonus!

I went there tonight for MTG (Modern) and it was such a great time. Very welcoming group. Everyone seemed to get along and be friendly with one another. As a new person to the store I felt totally welcome, which is not always the case in a gaming store. Ill definitely be back.

I’ve never had a friendlier experience in a game store. Full of helpful staff and regulars, always ready to host some kind of event. Good competitive tcg environment and very relaxing casual play as well! Plus an ever changing stock of cards for trad-in makes this place really stand out.

Nice little game store. They have vintage video game systems set up for play which is fun. Nice clean space with lots of tables. Somewhat competitive atmosphere which is nice for testing your skills.Atmosphere is casual with a lot of regulars hanging out. Community is friendly and helpful. There were a couple of loud vulgar people that detracted from the comfortable atmosphere.Big negative for me is they allow vapor smoking in the store. Several people were doing this, including the workers. I dont plan on coming back for this reason, as it made me nauseous.

Best card shop in northern Indiana. The shop owner is a friendly, family oriented guy who you can tell cares about his customers. Shop is always clean and the atmosphere is welcoming. Regularly held tournaments are always fun and the players are always eager to teach newcomers.

Rivals was my favorite place to spend my free time when I lived in Elkhart. Dan, the owner is the coolest guy around and all of the people are super friendly. I have been going to this shop regularly for about 3-4 months. Ive waited to review it because any shop can look good a few times. But not only does this shop continue to amaze me with their consistent friendliness and dedication to welcoming gamers of ALL kinds, but they also have an owner that really does care and does his best to make every single person there have a great time.The collection at Rivals Gaming is constantly growing and evolving. Staying current on most games or there and still respecting the origins of many. I dont know what everyone else looks for in a shop, but Rivals has the tournaments, the knowledge, the fun, and the new friends for anyone thats looking. I popped in here, and there was a whole wall of magic, and tons of tables set up. It’s great, but the only thing is Secret door games sells the booster packs slightly cheaper.

I was out in the South Bend area for contract work and found Rivals Gaming. My second time around I brought my deck to go play at their locals. Without a doubt, among the locals I’ve attended this one has the friendliest Yu-Gi-Oh! community. Not to mention, the owner (Dan I think) is chill, personable, and his deals are great. I would highly recommend and plan on going there if I’m back in town.

Made my very first visit to Rivals for a MtG Modern Tournament (which they host Mondays and Fridays). Great atmosphere. Video gaming in the corner, great group of individuals playing MTG (about 20 on that Monday night), friendly and well knowledge staff working the tournament and behind the counter. Will be visiting again

This is a great place to stop for Magic the Gathering cards, for dice, card sleeves, card cases, and anything else you might need. They gave me a bunch of free stuff too! Ill definitely be going back for more of what I need.

Awesome, they sell just about almost every card game there and they also have a lot of video game stations setup so if you want to play like she Fighters or any other fighting game if they have it you can play with someone else me personally I go there for magic cards they play Commander every Friday night certain other events if you go on the a page on Facebook just look up rival games on Facebook and youll get all the Intel on what they do every week.

This place carries a moderate supply of binders, card sleeves, deck boxes, and various card packs. There is wall with a good amount of in demand cards that are for sale. There are plenty of tables to play various card games on. Staff was friendly.

Great place friendly staff always make me feel welcome

While having a great selection of Magic cards and a good trade system, I was disappointed when taking my son into this shop. One employee behind the counter was very friendly and helpful, the other ignored my son and got kind of rude when my son asked about Pokémon cards. For that reason and the fact that multiple customers were being very loud and Vulgar, I will be avoiding this shop for calmer and friendlier atmospheres of other Magic shops.

Get location if you here for a few hours plenty of things to eat near by. I learned how to play magic from this shop and I love coming back to it. Realms has a great and friendly staff very helpful and knowledgeable. They host plenty of events for numerous different games whether its tcg games or video games.

There are multiple reasons why I find Rivals Gaming a great card/gaming/hobby store.- store itself: the store is a good size for the amount of people that show up. Plenty of tables. It’s not cluttered. Clean bathroom.- staff: in my experience, I’ve never felt ignored or had a negative interactions with any of the staff. The owner is especially friendly. He is consistently trying to improve the shop.- Variety: this is what I like most about the shop. Dan (the owner), puts in a lot of effort to cater to a plethora of gaming communities. Some of the gaming events/tournaments he hosts: smash bros, yugioh, MtG, vanguard, DnD.I highly recommend checking out this store.
