Walked into Big Lots on La Paz and I was shocked at the changes that were made in the store. The place is huge looking inside.They also have a larger selection of food/snacks/beverages etc then they ever had!Definitely if the funds are low, go to Big Lots!!

I bought my new recliner here, which I am sitting in as I write. The price was good, and the people were very helpful. Even helped me load it up.I even found a new snack, dried tangerines. So good. So howl cool is all this? A new chair and a new snack. Life is good.Plenty of parking and wheelchair friendly. Go take a look!

Big Lots had a new layout and it is much better. It looks more professional and less like a discount store. I even had 3 people all if they could help me! Prices still seem low and I hope that stays the same!!

We came to the Mission Viejo Big Lots for a couch and a few other items. The furniture staff went above and beyond for us. I want to give a serious shout out to this branch. Thank you for everything you all did.

I havent been in here for a long time because of Covid, but theyve completely remodeled and it looks a lot more open and airy. Very nice.

Not sure why people shop here. Thought it was a bargain/ discount place. But this cramped store has a bunch of stuff that pretty much costs the same as it would if bought at Target or the Grocery store in a more pleasant shopping environment.

I recently started coming here. A great collection of seasonal items, much better than I had anticipated! Great coffee and snack prices, and friendly employees too! Great gift items too!!!!

Just bought a sofa here and spoke to Tina. She is truly someone who looks out for your best interests and will make sure you leave happy. The pricing here is bar none the best youll find in town for a customized sofa. I totally recommend this place and when you come in ask for Tina. She will make you feel like your at home. No high pressure sales just down home small business trying to earn your business. You will not be disappointed!!

Do not buy anything from Big Lots right now. Bought an umbrella two hours ago. Took it out to put on the patio and decided it was too small. Went back to return it and found out the store associate failed to tell us they weren’t taking any returns until after the quarantine. God only knows when I’ll see that money again. Not like I have another $150.00 right now to spend on another item that might actually work the way we need it too. This company is more than happy to have you walk all around there store touching items to buy but will use this quarantine excuse to not give you your money back.

Forget how much better than Wal-Mart on so many items. Found everything I needed + some.

Great finds at great prices. Beware though...some stuff is actually more expensive. I saw some nail polish that Target sells fresh for $1.99 for $2.50 and it was old and separated. If you know how to dig, they have amazing finds. Some things are always there...some youd better grab before its gone! Wonderful place for gift-finding.

This store always has a great selection of everything and is fantastic for holiday decorations and storage options for around the house. There is an older man who works there and I always get him as a cashier. You can tell he really has fun with his job. I bought Halloween decorations last year and they were skeletons. He said to make sure to feed them because they looked really hungry. It definitely made my day!

First time visiting this big lots... just running in for a couple items... Browsed a bit but not much... seems bigger than the one closer to my house... will come back again. Teresa has great customer service skills... very sweet and pleasant.

Organized, clean, friendly staff. Most prices were average to discount or even grocery vut random finds are always the bestLocal to town and parks for easy shopping. Dining and bowling in same center.

If I remember correctly big lots used to send us are rewards separately... Now I get them like this $10 off a $45 Purchase.Why do I have to spend a certain amount of money before I can use my rewards? just another scam 🤨

Were tried to sign up for the app with the the employee. They couldnt figure it out and refused us the $5 coupon even tho we were spending almost $100. Not a great experience.

This is one of several Big Lots in the area. The store has a good mix of food and housewares. The store seems smaller than others bit I could be wrong anout that. I was in here mid afternoon on a Sunday and the store was pretty empty.

I stop about once a week and get stuff on sale. The have a good selection of stuff and I always find something at a great price.

I can usually find what I need here. Dont expect to find the best of the best products. Youll find what you basically need at a good price and a decent quality.

Big Lots is popular with people of all economic classes. Spending too much us never a good idea. They have some excellent bargains, not just low prices.

Friendly associates, good selection of products at generally low prices. I knock off 1 star since the store is sometimes cluttered and has empty shelves.

Always great. Found just what I wanted in an 18 gallon sturdy storage container with lid under $10.

Everyone here is so friendly, and if your s prudent shopper done good deals can be found too. Gets 4 stars not 5 though because the stores layout has room for improvement.

Cool place to shop if youre on a budget or in a hurry but honestly the managers dont treat their employees too well. They spend most of their day in the office, not dealing with customers or product and seem to think that they are above or exempt from certain tasks like stocking merchandise and collecting shopping carts.

Great place, lots of every day things at deep discount ( returned items) Ive never had an issue with an item however keep receipt in case you do, and try and check to make sure everything is in the box in case something is missing.

Its just a Big Lots, but its clean, well-stocked with a friendly staff. And the have great coffee pods and reasonably priced whole cashews which is my weakness.

The employees are nice, products are cheap but occasionally broken or expired so check whats on the shelf before you buy it. I worked here for a little while and had to sign a ton of waivers, including one for asbestos poisoning. Hope that doesnt come back on me.

This particular big lots on margariete y la paz is exceptional. While it is a fact-that prices for mostly everything in the store are below set standard prices, it is the people who work there that make the difference the manager and employees are all point. You can see it thru out the store and then of course the service checking out and answers to any of my inquiries are more than satisfactory. I am grateful this place is so close to home as I wouldnt like to have to drive to this big lots but I would even then.

Went to the store with my family friend who has dark skin. Lady who claimed to be a manager Teresa followed him through the store basically yelling IM WATCHING YOU the entire time. Needless to say we had never been to this store before and continued shopping. When we were checking out she kept telling the cashier to make sure they arent stealing anything. If this was a real concern she should have followed store procedure and called the police. Simply rude and racist.

As I shopped the clearance section and was helped by 2 employees for my online store. I was stopped on my way out after not finding anything and a Hispanic male ( Rodolpho) accused me of stealing batteries. I took him to the item that I set down and I told him there you go, dont worry about it i guess it happens I was very insulted. As I was still shopping around he kept checking on me mad doging me. This was totally inappropriate! I will be filling a complaint!
