I purchased a new vehicle yesterday and the salesman Alan was great. The problem is in the finance department where I was helped by Alex. He was very pushy with the protection plans they sell. I asked if I could only buy a certain one without the others and was told I could not. It wasn’t until I refused all the services that they allowed me to. During the process I saw my name on his computer screen twice and was asked by Alex’s coworker if I had financed a second vehicle. This made me take a closer look and saw a different vehicle with a different interest rate on the screen. I advised him I did not and was told not to worry about which is a scary situation when they have access to all your personal information. At the end of the process, after asking several times for discounts and incentives and being denied, I was told they would discount one thousand dollars if I took the protection packages. I asked why I couldn’t get the discount without the package and was told it was only if I purchases it. I was also told by finance if I change my oil anywhere but at the dealership all my warranty is voided. Will never purchase from this dealership again.
The salesman at this car dealership are the most thoughtful, patient, considerate people ever. They took high priority in my budget, and worked out all the finances to fit my monthly payment alongside all my other bills. They worked very well to make sure I was comfortable with my purchase!! They gifted me free oil changes FOR LIFE. Gave me their business cards, constantly offered me coffee, water, multiple other customer services. If you’re looking for a GOOD car with REASONABLE, CONSIDERATE pricing, THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO!!!! I am a full time college student, and a full time worker at my job and the deal I received from here is more than amazing!!!!
Ii spent the whole day comparing Toyota and Honda vehicles and prices. There ability to work with my price range was not good enough for me.The i went to Kia. They meet my prices and has the best customer services I have encountered from all 3.Jonathan, Daniel, and Alex were super helpful and grateful about my decision. My husband and I both have our cars purchased through kia mission. My husbands lease was up about 2 months ago and because we didnt want to renew the lease or make another purchase we decided to refinance the car due to miles it had. It was a great buy at the end. To make this short, my husband has been driving around with an expired temporary license plates given from kia back in July. . Its been almost 2 months and weve called multiple times, no one seems to know what is going on, we get placed on hold and we always hear we will call you back and NO ONE CALLS BACK. My husband spend 2 Saturdays from his days off only to spend 3 hrs waiting just to hear we will look into it and we will call you back. Have we or did we ever hear from anyone NO. My car agreement is coming to an end and I dont see myself or my husband doing any future purchases through this dealership. Im disappointed in the lack of responsibility from kia in providing us something as important as our license plates that are mandatory in the state of Texas.
Our experience was good. The employees were friendly and attentive, and the explanations made sense. It took a while to finish everything but that’s to be expected.

Our salesman was fine but it all went sour when the finance person, Alex Cortex, got involved. We would have ended up paying $3500 extra if we would have gone forward with the deal. He said he didnt know about the deal we were given but the sales quote had his name printed on the bottom corner of the paper. Alex tried the same thing to me when he was with Frank Smith Hyundai. Do your research before purchasing.

I went early in the month to inquire about a vehicle as soon it was on the lot was notified it was ready to view, told them I would go as soon as I could. Sales man put no pressure on me to come in to see it, although it was a hot item, just thanked me for still considering them and that they would be happy to help me when I came by. Went and saw it later that day, didn’t buy it but got great information from the sales team. Once again there was no pressure in coming back, went on to see other vehicles at different dealerships through out the week, but decided on a KIA but most importantly at Bert Ogden KIA in Mission. Everything was great from the sales man Jose Hernandez, financing Daniel Vallejo and the rest of the team supporting them. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE ALL AROUND I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
I had no problem with any of the sales people there, they all were very helpful my problem is with the person answering the phone, she is very rude doesnt let you talk she transfers you while you are still trying to tell her who you want to speak with and then you get no answer. If you hang up and call back its worse. 😠
Parts Department never answers, called 15 times this week and cero answers. All other departments answer and transfer callsto parts but never got somebody in parts department to answer
Got a good deal on the car, but they are lacking on their customer service. My temporary plates expired and Ive called multiple times about and was told I would hear back from them but never did. Went in the first time to deal with and the receptionist didnt have the paperwork and couldnt find it. Got told to come back another day. Went the second time and filled out the paperwork and waited a little over an hour to be told that it wasnt going to be done that day.
Every time that I try to get service there is some issue. They dont honor their appointment times and have me waiting hours for a simple oil change. Yesterday, I was trying to schedule another appointment and give them a chance since this is where I bought my car. The lady said that for a simple oil change, I could come in as a walk in and they would see me promptly. I show up today and Im told that they are not doing walk-ins. If they squeeze me in it would be a 3 hour wait. Seriously. This place needs to get their act together.

I bought a KIA OPTIMA on this location several years back. I brought my business back thinking it would be appreciated but there must be obviously new Management after all this years and it truly was an experience that left to much to be desired.The manager Juan Saldaña seems to micro manage its employees because our sales person seemed very limited on the decision making, every little thing he had to check with the manager. I see it as an extension of management, where they are really not trusted on the decision making. Jorge was our sales persons name, and he really seemed he wanted to work something out, the delay on the decision making really came about when he had to check with Juan, the manager. We decided to meet the manager, talk to him directly, and it took forever for him to go out and greet us. he just kept looking at us through the glass walls of the office, but never came out to say hi, it was extremely awkward. I decided to walk out, Im not going to be begging for someone to want me to sale a car, a real shame, since again, a previous experience here was great, but not anymore.
While doing an online search on the dealership’s website, I entered my information and to my pleasant surprise I was quickly contacted and assigned a salesperson, Gabriel Garza, to assist us. Mr. Garza quickly got to work and found us what we needed. He (along with all the professional staff at the dealership) made the experience so seamless and memorable; we truly appreciated his proficiency and the level of care and attention he provided. The Finance department was also accommodating and everyone made sure we were more than satisfied. This truly speaks to the quality customer service they provide. It’s been awhile since we shopped at Kia and we quickly fell in love with the new models and the awesome warranty which comes standard with every vehicle. We will definitely be back for our next vehicle here.

Would take my Kia Sportage for oil services until I decided to change it myself. I found out they never changed the oil drain plug gasket in 1yr and a half since I was the one who installed it over 1yr ago. Who knows what else they cut corners on. The gasket would leak slowly but not drastically so I never noticed anything after 5 oil changes there. Do it yourself, rest assured. Also set up an appointment and took a vacation day just to get turned away we are too busy today You know it says something when customers are willing to drive to KIA in Harlingen rather than mission. Avoid this place !
Went today in order to purchase a K5 Gt line vehicle and after being attended by Todd who got us a great deal we dealt with the manager and a different sales person. After we received the amount I decided I did not want to get the millennium option that would save us 2,500. After I told the sales person Alan to remove the “option” he came back minutes later saying that the manager had marked up an extra $2,500 to the price. So the Millennium package apparently isn’t an option at this Dealership. So if you try lowering the amount by removing options they will just marked up the price forcing you to pay what they want!! Worst service ever from a manager!!!

The manager Robert at Bert Ogden Kia service center is the worst. This is my 2nd car that I have purchased and has needed service and the manager doesnt return calls to have your car serviced. And when he calls you back he knows nothing or gives you excuses as to why nothing has gotten done. Not even a simple oil change can be done without a hassle from this service center. The lack of staff, knowledge, and follow through is a big problem. They sell you insurance that cost $1000s of dollars supposedly to protect your vehicle and promise you the world only to fall short.. Dont spend your hard earned money on promises for service that you never get.
Kia Telluride keeps coming out as number 1 SUV. Reason for which we got 1. If we would have known that this dealer has the worse service we would have never gotten this car.Unfortunately, this dealer is relying on the rating of the car. If you are thinking about getting a Kia, think also that every time you will need service it will be a nightmare almost impossible to get it! Very disappointed in the dealer.If you order a part, you will have to chase them because they will not contact you when it is in. Their service overall is TERRIBLE!If you try to get an appointment, get ready to wait 2- 3 months. They are always short on staff.Next time we buy a car we need to think about it’s dealer’s service unfortunately.

The salesman who initially assisted us, Jose Gracia, was very professional and helpful. He allowed me to test drive the car, and answered any questions we had. However, once the finance manager, Daniel Vallejo, stepped in, it became a different story. He was condescending, aggressive, and quite honestly ruined the experience of searching for a new vehicle. There’s a way to make sales, and the approach he took was from from what it should have been.
Went into KIA not knowing I was gonna leave with a beautiful 2021 KIA K5 GT line. Todd did an amazing job at showing me multiple options along with detailed characteristics of different models including test drives. Upon purchasing my car I was given an extensive and detailed explanation of every feature that the car had to bring. All in all, Bert Ogden Mission KIA provided first-class service from start to finish. Astonishing experience!
I went to the Bert Ogden section and no one was able to help me so they sent a sales person from the Kia section to help and even his attitude was .....this is not my area but I am helping you out because if I dont know one would be helping you .... as in like he is doing me a favor... I should just have walked out but I realy didnt have the time to go car shopping so i stayed....after being passed around from one two and finaly the third car sales person i finaly got a car.....then when it came down to getting my car the last sales person who sold me the car was lost no where to be found they didnt even know where the car was at ......fastword to today I took my care to get a tire fixed and they couldnt even do that... she was I can olny work with appointments .....how very sad and fustrating I guess I shouldnt be surpried .... I will never ever go back to buy a car from this place

Worst service ever. Have bought cars at different dealerships and never have I been treated this terrible before. Mr. Munguia has the worst customer service. He treated me with so much disrespect that I hope everybody that reads this never goes to the dealership to purchase a vehicle. I have never written a bad review over anyone before but I am so upset of the way I was treated that it astounds me that Bert Ogden would hire someone like him.

Pretty horrible place. Went in to buy a used forte for $18k and they hit me with a note of 344 for 75 months with equals to $25,800 which is ridiculous even if I don’t have perfect credit. Went right next door to Payne vw and got a brand new vw for 350 for 72 months and that car was $22k to start with. Then salesman got mad that I didn’t buy from here and kept my ID and now I been waiting for my ID for 30 minutes. This place is horrible go to Payne mission.

The WORST WORST WORST service ever!!! Terrible communication, never follow through and they give you lots of hurdles just to talk to a service person. I have a KIA Telluride because of its ratings and its a great vehicle but Bert Ogden Kia has the worst service ever! I paid 54K for my Telluride and this is the treatment I get?!! Buy the cars, but dont expect good service. The only good service is when they are trying to sell you their products.

Walked in hoping to buy a low priced car. Something simple that I could afford. Ive had bad experiences with dealerships before so I wanted a quick buy option. My sales rep Chris Martinez got all my information from me. Credit scores, paystubs, last years income. And he was able to place me in a 2020 Kia Forte for only 304 a month!?!. Of course it all varies with your credit score and everything. So, I dont know if itll be the same for you. But everyone was nice and Friendly. The director Robert came out and said congratulations and told me I could talk to him if I had any trouble and that he also was in charge of the Mazda next door. He also mentioned the car helping my credit out even more. Its my very first lease and Im happy I got something that I actually like and that I can afford. If youre looking for a new car that affordable check out the Kia in Mission, TX. Ask for Chris Martinez.Edit: Forgot to mention that I set an appointment online with Elaine Bienevidas. I hope thats how you spell her last name, Setting the appointment made the time spent in the dealership easier. Elaine told me what I needed for my current credit situation and before we got started I told Chris to start with the bank and so we didnt waste each others time. It took me six years to rebuild after divorce. Just go in be honest and bring those paystubs if you think your credit may be challenged. THEY DO PULL ALL THREE CREDIT BUREAUS. Its up the the lender which score the choose to base you off they could choose the middle score or the highest. So make sure you have been paying off your debts. Hope this helps someone out there.
The people there sux. My wife gat a ticket from Austin, TX, for running a toll booth. Thing is Austin is 5 1/2 hours away and we havent been there in years. The temporary tag of her new car, a kia rio, wound up on a Nissan over there. Asked them how this could have happened and they never called back. Went there any told me that i should go to county and say we dont have them anymore even though they took it when we got our permanent plates. Rude people.
I jumped the gun 2 months ago by giving this place a 5 star rating. At the time I was very happy with the way my salesman treated me. I bought my car signed my contract paid for my car and guess what 2 months passed and I have not received my plates and registration. I called 3 times and was told that the plates were not in and they would call me back to let me know what was happening. Never received a call back! I go in HOT and frustrated and the receptionist tells me that I needed to sign some paperwork. She said she would call “Richard” to ask what was going on. In other words she didn’t know s*!t. I was told to talk to Danny and Danny was sooo RUDE, condescending and unprofessional. The sales manager was called in and tried to excuse Danny by saying the poor guy has alot of work. To make a long story short he gave me his name of Juan Saldaña, I call on Monday and the receptionist says there’s no Juan Saldaña here. So I ask for Gamez the GM and I’m told he is not available. I’m still waiting to hear from someone there. Please Please don’t go there, go somewhere else, the service is terrible and not worth the headaches. I should’ve gone to Houston to buy my car like I always do!!!
Ive gone multiple times because my kia has a chrck engine light and an oil leak. We have extended warranty. Service Department is horrible! Took my kia soul in for its 1st oil change on Saturday and the lady at the dealership tells me they cant take it in because she cant file a claim on the maintenance plan on a Saturday. So I then offered to just pay for the oil change since I couldnt come back another day and my car is over 7500 miles NEEDS MAINTENANCE. After I say that she then comes back and says oh I just remembered my boss said I cant take in new cars were booked Seriously!!! Just say you dont want to help us..... Why have a maintenance plan if i cant use it when i need it!?! We then just decided to make the drive to Harlingen dealership... Service their Took in my car right away did oil change and a complementary car wash without any hassle whatsoever! THANK YOU KIA HARLINGEN!

My husband and I purchased a vehicle through Bert Ogden in October of 2020 and have had a difficult time trying to speak to the manager regarding obtaining my license plates. My temp plates expired Dec 22, 2020 and we are now in March of 2021... without license plates. I have spoken to Jennifer and Alicia and have had no help in trying to get the this solved. I keep getting the run arounds. All I am told is that someone will call me back but no one ever does. I do not know what else to do at this point.

I would rate it 0 or negative stars. I just waited for 3 HOURS for a SCHEDULED service on my car, only to find out they never even started! After 2 hours, I inquired on status and the service person said she would check and let me know. Never heard from her. After waiting another hour, I inquired again and decided to stand in front of her while she called the technician, only to hear that they never even started work on the car. Her excuses were: 1) they only have 1 technician and 1 machine to do various customer’s work, then 2) my ticket got routed to the wrong technician (who apparently didn’t have enough brains or motivation over 3 hours to route the ticket to the correct technician)!?! I did get a call from the service manager when I returned home, but it’s too little, too late. In addition, I strolled thru the new car showroom, seeing what might be next. Not one single salesperson took notice of a potential customer!
I just wasted 2 hours in this place, I went to buy a sportage that I saw on the website that supposedly was in the Mission dealer ship, they did not have it the guy brought a similar vehicle saying it was the same price as the other one, when they did all the paperwork it was 10 thousand dollar more, saying that the one I wanted was a loaner that it was not for sale even though it was in their website, I just left that place. If you go there make sure they dont lie to you because they will not hesitated to do it. I will never go to this dealership ever again.

Worst financial department ever. Been waiting for a freaking call back about cancelled warranty and gap and keep getting the run around. Efren Pena is the hardest person to get a call back from. This review is for the Service Department only. I took my 2016 Soul in for a factory recall problem with its computer software. I was told that it should take one hour according to their service guidelines. I had an appointment for 11:00 and showed up five minutes early.After more than TWO HOURS I went looking for my car. I was told that it had just come out. That may have been true, but nobody was trying to find me to tell me about it. When I got the paperwork to finish things up, I learned that they had done an oil change I hadnt asked for and didnt need. Also, the guy there couldnt find my keys. I had to stand around for another 10-15 minutes while he found my keys and fixed the problem with the unnecessary oil change.The irony is that I got a text asking me for this review half an hour before my car was ready! Well, incompetent is the nicest adjective I can think of for their service department today. Its a shame too because Kias are awesome cars and a great value.

I took my Sportage for service for an engine failure. They replaced the engine with a brand new one and I didnt pay anything! Im so thankful! The service manager was very helpful and professional.
I will never be returning back to this location again. I was overcharged and had to contact CarMax to settle the situation. My car was left a mess with plastic wrap all over the seats, steering wheel, and floor (they did not bother disposing it for me). To top it off, my car’s initial problem was fixed (smell of vinegar in the cooling system), however, another problem just arose(The AC does not cool). I called the dealership and they state “we did not touch anything”. I would rather deal with this new problem elsewhere. In summary, terrible service and terrible communication.

Came in looking to buy a vehicle pretty late on a Saturday. Despite that, all staff was very attentive and polite. I recommend this dealership.
Within the same week of getting my car it shut off on me. When I took it to get checked by them I called almost every day for an update and didn’t hear anything till a month later. They didn’t even bother to tell me their service department wasn’t working on my car, they had actually sent it to Ford. I kept it for a whole year after that and it still had a problem of shutting off. They claimed that nothing was wrong with it. I’ve finally traded it in and now that we need to cancel my warranty they won’t answer the phone. Every time we call we’re told the managers are in a meeting and they will call us back. That was a week ago. Now we’re having to drive all the way to Mission because we’re from Harlingen because they won’t pick up the phone and return calls. This is the worst experience I’ve had from a company period. Worst customer service.
Not the best sales team out there, wont try too hard to help and vehicles aren’t priced as they should be.somewhat unprofessional not the worst experience but nothing not near the best either

Amazing and fast service
Took my vehicle in for an oil change and after they called me that my vehicle was ready they couldnt find the paper work they were extremely unorganized and the reason they couldnt find my receipt was because they had my car under someone elses name when I had given them all the info when I made the appointment to take it in. Also they couldnt find my keys and when i saw one of the guys trying a key that I knew wasnt mine i told him it wasnt the key and he have me attitude saying he wasnt responsible for the misplacement of my keys he was only trying to help the girl find them. I was only trying to help because I knew they werent it and that way he wouldnt waste his time instead he left the keys and started doing something else.

If you’re looking to buy a car here ask for Everardo Sanchez! He is an awesome down to earth salesman and I was very impressed with the whole process. I was looking to trade in my Chevy cruze for a 21’ Kia Forte but after spotting a beautiful blue K5 I had to jump on it. I was not pressured to even look at the K5 I just happened to see it the day I walked in to make a deal on the Forte and wanted to test drive it and check that out instead. Everyone here was very nice from Everardo, to the finance manager, Mr. Pena even Mr. Ivan García, the car specialist, who showed us around the K5. All very nice down to earth individuals. There was not one second where I felt pressured into buying anything. They don’t mark up their new model vehicles unlike other dealers in the area like Payne Weslaco Motors who marks up any new model car they get. The service advisor didn’t call me to tell me that my sorento was going to take longer. Disgusting service!I checked in at 2:20pm. And still don’t have my vehicle back. Nobody answers me or cares to at least let me know it’s gonna be till tomorrow. 👎
Went in to trade my 2020 Kia Soul for a 2021 Soul process was smooth and quick...I was in an out in under 2 hours start to finish...They gave me the price I wanted for my trade as well as the new one...Couldnt be happier with the process and outcome..
