Went to a meeting with the manager earlier today. Front staff was a your lady whom I thought was a customer the way she was dressed, and Come to find out she’s a cashier. Her work attire needs much Improvement. She wore the smallest short shorts anyone could imagine and Her blouse was unbuttoned and was very revealing. In my view, Such attire is not appropriate for any work place. I brought it to the managers attention and was assured it would be addressed.

I’ve been coming here for a little over a year and I can say with much confidence I’ve always had the GREATEST customer service and a very quick oil change performed on my vehicle. Just today I had a unique situation occur to my vehicle right before heading out on a 4 hr drive. I called superior for assistance on this, they took me in immediately and had everything sorted out in a timely manner with the utmost respect and professionalism. Due to these reasons I refuse to go to any other shop unless it’s superior.

Unreal TERRIBLE service, came in for an oil change and got conned into paying for a service that I didn’t need. I was told by the technician that my vehicle had an oil leak and if I wanted them to check where it was coming from. Of course I agreed since it’s my only means of transportation. The tech took my car to another area where the mechanic was going to find out where the leak was coming from. After an hour or so the mechanic comes in saying its not an oil leak. He said it was actually the water pump that was leaking. They told me they would order the part for me and let me know what the cost would be to install. Paid $47 for oil leak inspection but I wanted to get a second opinion as I’ve been scammed before by these types of shops. Vehicle got inspected by our mechanic who looked it over and he found no leaks at all, anywhere. I spoke to the manager on the phone and he said to come by for a refund, but when we got there, the (mechanic )was trying to show us where the leak was coming from, which by the way had no clue where the water pump was! The manager got very rude with us and refused to give me back my money. Which it wasn’t about the money anymore. It’s the fact that they take advantage of people. I did take a couple of days to write this review in case t I was wrong and they were right but guess what, my drive way is clean no oil leaks or water leaks. My car has not over heated and the water pump is still at max level.I doubt that this place will be in business for long if they keep conning people. I would not recommend this place to anyone, reading the comments here I now know that this place might be good for an inspection sticker, but as far as vehicle maintenance, they just don’t cut it. I guess they’ve never heard the expression, “the customer is always right”. Their service didn’t even come close to Superior!

Do NOT go here. I went for an oil change. Not only did they try to convince me I needed new air filters (which I didn’t), but they also left my windows down in the rain!! I went back to my car and it was soaking wet inside. Unbelievable. I’ve also had bad experiences here in the past when I needed an inspection, and they said I didn’t need an appointment but every time I went they said they were too busy. Terrible customer service!

Ive been going to them for about a year, and its been nothing special. but they recently messed up my heat shield, left it hanging, ripped it off, and said goodluck. Most of the people there are rude too.

I took my car in on May 17, 2021 when I walked in I told the front desk manager that the knobs on my A/C were not working. I wanted to show him and he did not care to see it. I left the vehicle with them, they never called me to tell me what was the issue, I had to call every day. After a week they said I needed an A/C kit. That didnt make sense, but I told them to do it ($1400), I paid it. A week later now they say its the radiator, I go in to speak with the manager and the mechanic. Mechanic says he graduated top of his class he knows what hes doing and that its going to get it fixed. I finally get a call that it is ready. I go and inspect the work, I open the hood several caps are missing. Very poor quality in workmanship, I ask for the top of his class mechanic about the caps, he said their in the shop, he then gets them and installs them in front of me. I then proceed to turn on the vehicle, the knobs for my a/c still do not work. I had told them what the problem was and they didnt even fix the problem that I originally went for.Later that day the manager calls me that he is going to install the knobs free of charge. Next day the manager calls me back that he has to charge me for the knobs and that the a/c mechanic has quit. Its been over two weeks and I still have not received my vehicle in working order. I call the manager he tells me pick it up if you want?? That is really bad service, they want to charge me with out fixing the issue. The car is still in the shop, I have asked to speak with the owner several times and no one wants to show face.They start working on the original issue, everyday the manager tells me that its going to be ready today this went on for about over a week. Everyday he tells me that they are not going to charge me extra. Well when I finally went to pick up my vehicle (3 - 4 weeks later). They did charge me extra, according to Jon, the back office person Zinnia needed to correct the ticket. Total cost for the job was $2,200 and it took them about 3 to 4 weeks. The point I am trying to make is that they never gave me accurate cost of the service they also did not know when the vehicle would be ready.It appears that Jon and Zinnia are the persons in charge of this business and they both do not know what they are doing. I spoke with Zinnia and the whole time I was telling her about how poor the shop was doing she was giving my son a whole bunch of junk from her office that wasnt even from their shop. He walked out with some Cup from Mr. G propane shop and a face mask for an adult. Instead of being professional and Listening to the issue she was ignoring the issue.I am sure they will respond to this message as they have to other messages saying that they offer Superior service and that they want to make things right. I have asked the manager several times that I want to speak with the owner.

My husband came today at noon to do an oil change and they tell him there’s a broken alternator belt. Ok he agreed to replacing it. It took them 4.5 hours to complete the work. According to the guy at the front desk at 2:30pm he had it on and tightening it. Then at 4pm he said the guy was having issues putting the belt on. So inaccurate updates too. Til I suggested having someone else do it if it was taking the one guy hours to complete.

Went to get an oil change about a month ago. Came to realize that today when i checked the oil it was running low on it.... My mom had clearly seen that no oil was put and when spoke to the lady at the desk she said she didn’t know what we were talking about. 1st and last time I go. Not recommended.

$7 car inspection. They are quick. Remember to take a copy or at least a picture of your insurance.

Extremely courteous. And so fast! I showed up prepared, with some earphones and something to read, thinking Id be there for a while. I had my entire oil change, tune up, filter changes, and inspection done in less than 40 minutes. I sincerely appreciate how friendly everyone was, especially at 8am. Will definitely be returning for any vehicle needs that might arise.

First they told me state inspection will be done within next 15 minutes. I waited, waited and waited 45 minutes past and they told me there are two people in front of me so I go to another place not far away in Mission and it was done right away...superior in misleading customers, avoid this place...it’s not even that, man at the front desk was eating his breakfast spilling food all over desk and the phone and ignoring people

Terrible experience. Got a suspension service and during the warranty had some suspensions issues and they didn’t want to fix the problem. They’ve lost my business and every person that visit my business I tell them to never visit Superior Oil Express

So I went in for an oil change and an inspection, as soon as I get off my car I hear a man coughing like crazy, he approaches me and speaks to me, at least he was wearing a bandana as a mask, then as soon as I walk in, the guy in the front was clearly having trouble breathing and with a runny nose, so also clearly sick, indoors and not wearing a mask, I saw a couple of employees looked pretty sick. During covid its very distressing to see the man in the front desk clearly sick and handling cash and paperwork and not even wearing a mask. I noped the hell out and disinfected my car as soon as I got home

Used to like this place but Im changing my mind. Went yesterday for a straight up sparkplug replacement on a 6 cil. They wanted to charge $430 for it. Plus the $95 they charged for the diagnostic. Preposterous!Cashier John doesnt use a facemask when dealing directly with customers.Ended up spending $70 at the Advanced Autoparts next door on the sparkplugs and swapped them myself.

Waited over 2 hours for an alignment. After they were done they charged me and handed me my keyes. I asked for a report of the alignment and the person who charged me didnt have a clue what I was asking for. The manager stated that the tech forgot to print a report out, which should be part of the alignment. They had to put the car back on the lift to do what they should have done already. Manager walks to the shop only to chat it up with one of the techs leaving the one guy to do it alone taking longer

Service seemed too quick, now my maintenance due light is still on. Makes me wonder if they did anything at all.

Very friendly staff, went there for a Motorcycle inspection they performerd it without hesitation and took care of it very expeditiously, thier inspector works most of the week all day, unlike to other nearby shops this was very convenient.

Ive only used this place three times, but the service was immaculate. The staff is very friendly and the place looks very well kept and organized. Only issue I had was that I took my work truck for an oil change and it turned out they didnt accept ARI fleet insurance like they said they did and I had to pay out of pocket. I hope they renew their account soon so I can continue to take my business there. Other than that, this is a great place to use.

This shop and the mechanics are all top notch. I cant even begin to count the thousands of dollars they have saved me over dealerships with my cars. They are honest, and know their stuff. I have a friend with 2 high performance show cars who could not get his cars diagnosed anywhere. He took them to different shops and they couldnt figure out what was wrong but wanted to charge him out the wazoo to diagnose the issues. He brought his car here & the master mechanic diagnosed it within 5 minutes. As for me, they have gone so far as to drive me to my house & drop me off. How many shops do that? They have price-matched, etc. I refuse to take my cars anywhere else but here. Finding a reliable auto shop can be tough, so Im glad I can trust these guys. I am an actual customer, and have been for years. My wife knows the owner, so she tried them out first. Now we both take our cars here.

Came in 7/6/2020 at 3:32 pm, & reception lady said theres a few cars ahead of me. I asked how long, & she said 30-40 minutes. Asked again at 4:13 pm, & she apologized & said 2 more cars. Barely took car to stall at 4:28 pm.If I dont get to tag renewal substation on time, then Ill have to take additional time off from work.Also during a conversation with an employee about battery replacement for their smoke alarm, he said the F word.

Went in for inspection on car, several employees without face masks even though they have signs requiring them, when I was there from the three employees behind the front desk 2 did not use the face mask and the third one with face mask and a bad cough. Not a safe environment in the waiting area.

Reasons for these choosing of such qualitys of references towards this shop is due to conflict caused by one another yes some customers may have visualize these actions occurring during shop hours which makes the job site unprofessional. The employees have to up sale every single vehicle that comes in to earn commission checks which is understandable but why do so if the vehicle is not needed why lose loyal customers just to make a sale its outrages especially reading the state inspectors comments that caught my attention a employee thats manager who tried to buff headlights for 30 too 40 dollars as well a parking brake that couldnt be fixed even the manager John Trevino explained to customer and quote dont worry sir Ill take care of it then later the problem wasnt fixed I dont recommend this place but the employees that do get things done and will provide assistance of what Ive seen are the two ladys in the front desk not John Trevino alvaro very generous man, damian the drainer and certified mechanic, mill house the drainer, Santiago the manager who does the best he can just needs to lighten up the attitude, and their female state inspector if the staff reads this review no doubt they will get a hint of who speaks the truth and what Ive seen occur since was a staff member as well

I have been here twice now and I will go back for more oil changes.Update: 5/11/16I have now been there multiple times for an oil change and I have been treated with the utmost respect and friendliness. Excellent customer service very helpful attention to detail I even got a ride to the motel while they worked on my truck and they picked me up after the work was done. My AC now is super cold and I am thankful to these guys. This place is got to be the best automotive shop I have ever seen in the valley. I have a personal mechanic so I use this place when necessary only. They dont knock my socks off with service but theyre pretty straightforward. Its not always fast, so figure the peak time because if its slow, youre in and out in less than 30 minutes. I watch anyone who works my car like a hawk, Im cool with Superior. They are who we thought they were.

Con: Went in for a State Inspection and ended up needing a hand brake job. Needed brake shoes and they worked on it and did a bad job; hand brake did not work. Manager said he would make sure the hand brake would work and take care of the cost; didnot work or took care of cost.Then they said I needed to replace both rotors(drums); bought them and now wanted to charge me more money for the labor. Too much BS and run around. Should have taken my truck to Brake Specialists and had it done by professional certified mechanics. Lost my business plus at least several other family members.Pro: Acceptable oil changes and thats it; nothing else.

Always a quick no hassle service

I have been there a few times for an oil change. Everytime I go there they tell me that I need other things done ranging from leaking gaskets to power steering problems etc. Each time I tell them no. I bring my truck to my own mechanic and each time my mechanic tells me everything is fine and that the employees at Superior oil express lie to every customer to increase the amount of work they do. I as well as others I have talked to about Superior oil express have had the same problem with them. Pass the word! This business intentionally rips people off! Pass the word!

Got a overpriced oil change and noticed it was leaking turns out they left a loose bolt and oil filter on my truck luckly I got to it before I ran the truck without any oil

Just went to get a wheel alignment and the truck came out with same problem. $150 down the drain. Ask the service guys what was the problem and all three gave me different answer. Hopefully my $150 bucks helps them meet there numbers because that’s all they would talk in the front desk.

They told me that rotating and balancing my tires would be $29.95 and I told them exactly what kinda vehicle I had when they rang me up it was $49.95 and they refused to honor the price that i was quoted Ill never come here again smh.

Heard great things about this place but when i called they were condescending and rude. I asked how much they charge for an oil change, guy on phone says for what? i said... for an oil change? he said FOR WHAT? i was confused and i finally just asked what he meant and he said for what kind of car? how the hell was i supposed to know thats what he meant if he was just kept asking for what when i asked for a price quote? He was also just rude and apparently angry i couldnt read his mind and interpret for what as for what kind of vehicle maybe thats on me but just feel like that was really bad customer service right off the bat.

Every time i changed oil they found something else wrong just to charge you for other services and parts like air filter and windshield wipers, went to get inspection and was told tires did not meet requirements, i changed 2 tires and within a month had a ball on one of tires, went back and was told by manager tires were not covered. very unethical and felt taken advantage of NEVER will i go back again

Horrible experience. First they told me I needed a tire rotation and alignment, so I agreed to the rotation for $50. Then they came back and told me I needed brake pads and rotors. I declined to that being that it was too pricey and I needed to shop around. But the guy would not let it go, he was so pushy, I’m sure that’s what they do when they see a girl alone. As I was leaving the same guy came back and told me, pretty much my tires were trash and I had to get new ones like today.. which is what he should of told me before suggesting a rotation. Why am I gonna rotate 4 bad tires? To top it off, after I left I noticed they hadn’t reset my dashboard.. so I had to drive all the way back and ask them to do it but no one knew how!! They had me waiting for about 20 mins while they were trying to figure it out and no one was able to reset it. Not to mention the mechanic giving an attitude the entire time. I’ve owned my car for 5 years and do oil changes regularly and I’ve never had this issue. Ridiculous. I expressed my discontent and all they said was ok sorry.

Expensive oil change. Had an inspection done and the found problems on a car with only 5000 miles on it. They relented and completed the inspection when I asked to see the inspection code for that covered the problem they found. They then relented saying that in their experience the car was going to be a safety issue. 34,000 miles later and an inspection by Subaru later and there isnt an issue. Curious.

Where do I start with this place, dont be fooled by how nice the place looks the incompetence runs deep here. First the group on deal is a utter joke, and be prepared to shell out an additional cost to have your oil changed here. The deal covers 5 quarts, but an additional quart runs a total of 15.00 bucks after they add all their ridiculous fees. Second, I repeat do not have them touch the air pressure in your tires, upon leaving I had 2 tire pressure alarms on my vehicle and realized they deflated 2 tires to 20psi and over inflated the other 2. They love to walk around and thank you for your buisness, but dont be fooled they are screwing you over. I will never be back and I hope you reading this dont waste your money here.

Nice facility. Really quick. Even had tacos for customers. But they told me my car needed a special filter and charged me a whopping $21 for it. A quick look online shows the genuine Kia filter is available for $6.88. I understand a few dollars convenience charge, but that was ridiculous. Add in an extra quart of oil and tax, and I had to pay an extra $31 on site on top of the standard (synthetic) oil change charge. If I hadnt had a Groupon, it would have been a $95 oil change on my minivan. When I told the cashier that Id never had to pay for a special filter, she just shrugged her shoulders and ran my card. It seemed pretty disingenuous, and I felt like they took advantage of me because of the Groupon, but I just wanted to leave- not worth fighting over $20. But I wont be back. Ill stick with National Lube Express on 10th Street.

Took my car in for an oil change, and I should have known it wasnt going to go well when the girl at the counter tried to tell me that my car wouldnt turn on (implying that it was broken) when in reality she just didnt know how to drive standard. The next thing that really just made me furious is that the young mechanic put grass and leaves from the field next to the shop onto the cabin air filter and then called me out there to see how dirty it was and to persuade me that I needed a new cabin air filter. Now, I know this is a scam because I just finished a 12 week internship in an area that didnt have any of those leaves and I hadnt driven anywhere since entering the valley except to the shop (2 miles from my house). Upon seeing the filter, I told the mechanic to just whack out the leaves and set it back. This was 2 days ago, and I have just finished a 600 mile drive back to college, and there is not one single grass leaf orEat of any other sort in the cabin air filter.

I rate this less than zero. I went in there for an inspection to get my license renewal and they said that my front brakes were bad and I needed a complete brake job including rotors etc. before they could pass me on the inspection. I passed on their assessment and went to another place and they checked brakes etc. and passed the inspection without any problem. This is the second time that they have tried to rip me off -- the first time was for an air conditioning problem and cost me $80 and they said they had put more refrigerant in the system but the air conditioning worked exactly the same as when I went in there. I had a friend look at it and he checked the compression out and put more refrigerant in it and it has worked perfectly for the last two years (in the Texas summer heat). My advice is STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. They are rip offs and liars!

They will overcharge you in every opportunity you give them., Every time you go, they will tell you something else is wrong with your car, ex. Go for rotation and balancing and they will tell you suspension or something else is messed up, Expect an expensive unnecessary quote......

If I could give negative stars, I would. I paid for an full oil change. They didn’t even try to take off the oil filter cap. Also, the put too much oil, like- WAY TOO MUCH. These people give mechanics a bad name.
