I need to come back and add a photo, but dang I sure love this store. All of my gardening needs, so many of my household needs as well everything from replacement vents that you often find in old Mission homes to drill bits, screws, you name it.And the staff! They are the best and most friendly people, who if they dont at least enjoy their job, they sure as heck are fooling me. Super helpful and knowledgeable, always willing to stop and think with you to problem solve potential solutions compared to the other stores who...well good luck even getting any help from an employee usually.Anyways 5/5 love this place and I havent been to another supply store for a good while and have no plans to change that. How do you beat small town style relationships?

A real Hardware store. Most anything you need in regards to HW, paint, screens, or just the popcorn. Staff are friendly and ready to help.

Has all the things the big stores dont carry.

When I go to Mack Hardware I ALWAYS know that I will be treated like I am the only person in the store. The personalized customer service is so far beyond anything you would ever experience at the box stores. I can always count on complete honesty and be able to talk to the employees about diy options before having to purchase a new item. I have somehow adopted Steve there as my go to person - he is very familiar with their products having been there so long. I can easily access him on the phone when I have questions before I get out and about and can always count on his amazing help. The store is fun to browse as well, much like a general store in many ways. I find the prices most reasonable. Thank you Mack Hardware for being there for our community! Other stores should pay attention. :-)

This place has been our favorite mom and pop hardware store for years. Yep They are extremely knowledgeable and attentive.

Macks has been around a long time. It offers top notch service. Its more expensive then the big chains but they probably have to be to survive. Still you will have way better service.

Its a smaller home improvement store thats easier to navigate if you dont like the crowds or big box stores. My only real complaint is that everything appears to be slightly more expensive without the quality also going up.

I can always get what I need for my home projects. Great customer service and friendly employees. I used to live 10 minutes from the store and now I live 45 minutes away and still shop there. A+ store!!!

Great location for your home repair projects. Personal service is always available for your needs. Easy access with storefront parking. Many choices for out of the ordinary parts needed for fixing and/or repairing many household items. Give them a visit, they are willing to help you.

I needed some paint Home Depot was crowded so I thought I would spread the money around. I went to True Value and had the store to myself. Not really but it seemed like it. The staff was helpful and I ended up buying more than I needed. I highly recommend this place. Very clean. Had a wonderful time. Go see them.

I have been looking for certain products for my garden and gone to numerous stores, including the big name retailers, and have had no luck. I went to Mack True Value today and was able to find EVERYTHING I needed AND the prices were shockingly low!! I will NEVER go anywhere else for my gardening needs and I will go out of my way to tell all of my gardening friends to go and check out Macks!! Excellent store...would give 10 stars if I could!!!

What can I say about these people. They love helping you find what you need for the projects that you are working on. Emphasis must be placed on what you NEED. Time and again they have steered me to what I Need as opposes to what THOUGH I NEEDED to do the job correctly.The best part of Mack is they remember you and care. The second best part of Mack is that they are a local merchant who have served the Mission community for decades. They recently underwent a renovation that spoke volumes to their desire to stay and serve the local community in spite of the oppressive big box store infiltration. They are weathering the storm well by taking personal interest in who you.Do you need a nail? Theyve got it. Do you need a lawn mower? Theyve got it. Do you need paint, painting supplies, or some technical know-how to do your best painting job? Theyve got it and are ready to divulge their secrets.These are kind and warm people who are willing to engage and relate to you as a human being in an impersonal world. I cannot speak more highly of Mack and all the staff who work there. Very helpful staff! When I need a project done or have an odd part, missing piece or antique fixture the service comes thru with the right parts every time and a quick turnaround. I (did) like the free popcorn!No aimless wandering around the big football stadium size hardware store wasting my time.

This establishment has it all and I mean has it all. Owner is great. 100.5% of the staff is phenomenal. Easy to find. While the sidewalks are amazing, parking is sucky, thats really the cities entire doing.Fun fact: the joint has been around since 1939. Impressive!Whoop whoop!

Staff was excellent! John and Kelly went above and beyond to help us with our new purchase of the Kamado Grill. We needed the larger size and they had it there in less than 24 hours. True Value Hardware is a full line service hardware store. There are always several employees available to answer your questions and help you find what youre looking for. I am known by my first name and have been a customer there for 25 years.

Great hometown, family owned, local hardware store. They have things the big box stores do not have! Customer service and items for the older homes in this area!

Large selection of all kinds of things and the people working there are as friendly as can be! Feels just like a small-town hardware store, but with the items youd find in a larger store. Will definitely make this my go-to hardware place!

I’m giving you guys one star because of my experience today. I love the customer service you guys provide but when I’m only looking around and I get asked 5 times from 3 different employees if I’m finding everything alright and I tell them I’m just looking. And then on top of that I have one of them follow me out to my car after I didn’t find the exact product I needed for a specific project at home. She asked if she could help me find anything and i felt it had gone too far for the fact I was leaving and she came out. Very unhappy and I actually felt like I was being watched the entire time. Love your store but don’t like the judgements being passed on me.

Went into fix a foot brace for my mother in law and Steve was able to help me out. Cost 1.02 . Very satisfied with Mack hardware.
