I noticed a propane smell coming from by my propane tanks, or regulator, a couple days in a row, back in late Match or early April 2021. My travel trailer was still under warranty until April 24th, 2021. So I called Gull Boats, and spoke with Karen. I told her I couldnt move the RV because we are hard piped to the sewer, loaded with our stuff, and 2 bearded dragons, and no truck to move it, if we could. She had Jason drive over, to find, and fix the problem. Jason said it was the regulator (which I read go out). He replaced the regulator under warranty. Thank you Gull Boats for working with our living situation!Just a side safety note: There is conflicting information on the internet, about smelling propane around the propane tanks. There are some people that say its normal to sometimes smell propane, when a tank is low. But, others say that you should never be able to smell propane around the propane tanks. Glad I decided to close the valves, and switch to ceramic heaters, until the leak could get fixed.

My husband and I came in with the intention of seeing what was available in the way of pwc. Our sales person Thomas, was very knowledgeable about the newest products and what they were capable of, based on what we told him we looking for. Bought an older jet boat that hadnt been run in 10 years. Now it sounds like it was brand new. The staff and mechanics at Gull were amazing! I am both a new boat owner and a relatively new RV owner. I have had two experiences w/ Gull Boats and RV. The first one the lead mechanic (Sean?) spent 20 minutes w/ me helping me understand how to operate my boat and some mechanically specifics. Second, was with the parts department (Tim) spent a lot of time w/ me trying to ascertain and order replacement keys for my boat, which was not an easy task. These two experiences yielded relatively zero revenue for the business yet they spent time w/ me to help me resolve my problems. Yep - I will be back. Highly recommended. Thank you.

We recently purchased a Dutchman Aspen Trail from Gull Boats and RV. Rick was our salesman and he was very helpful and took the time out at the end of his day to show us around ( even though it was closing time.) He also gave us his personal phone number and told us to call with any questions or problems at any time.We also worked with Luke, one of the technicians for the RVs, and he was super helpful. He came to our trailer and fixed our awning with out even being asked. They went out of their way to make sure we had a positive experience. We are very happy with everyone who worked with us and I would recommend them to family and friends!!

I lost a hub off a trailer while in Missoula. I was in a hurry and had to leave the trailer because they couldnt do a quote on it until the next day. They quoted amount was more than I paid for the trailer. I was also charged $152 for doing the quote. A fact they did not disclose when I left the trailer there. I ended up limping the trailer home 150 miles away. The total cost for fixing it was significantly less than half of Gulls labor charges. Several things were fixed that were not on Gulls quote. The axil was fine but on Gulls that was a $600 part. Overall where I took it fixed it for less than 30% of Gulls quote.

I am a rookie to the camper world and dropped my use camper off to have all appliances checked as some were malfunctioning and needed maintenance. Jason in the service department went above and beyond with the appliance check. Not only was everything fixed and functioning but when I picked up Jason walked me through my entire camper to truly help me comprehend how everything interacts and functions together. Jason then helped me load my camper which didn’t go as quickly as planned but he had an awesome attitude and helped me build confidence in hitting the road with my family. Gull crushes it!

I have had only had good experiences with Gull Boats and RV. I own a Lance pull behind camper and am in the market for a truck camper for those trips where I need to pull a drift boat or ATV trailer. Gull is the only place around to find Lance campers, which in my opinion are the best of the best (unless you need something over 27 or a 5th wheel).I have been to their service center, parts department, and have dealt with their salesmen. In all of my experiences I have been very satisfied with the service and products that they carry. Seems like everyone is professional and willing to help. I would recommend this place over other camper dealerships in the area.My sales guy has been Thomas K. and I would strongly suggest that you ask for him if If you are shopping for a camper or boat. He has been great to work with starting from our first meeting and has really gone out of his way to make sure that I was taken care of.On one particular occasion Thomas got me into the service department within a few hours of calling to have a technician look at the slide on our Lance 1685 that didnt seem to be closing all of the way. He met us back in the service department and personally brought the technician out to take a look. It turned out that everything was just fine with the camper, but his prompt attention and interest in the matter illustrated his excellence of customer service. He is also very knowledgeable about all of the brands that are on the lot and will do what it takes to make your experience a good one.

Do not give these people money. Not even a deposit. I canceled a boat deal with these guys two days ago. I then put a stop payment on a check they had taken pending appropriate financing. They never found financing. Then on Thursday two days after canceling the deal they ran my check through anyway. Thank goodness I had it stopped already or I’d be out $500. Be very careful dealing with Gull Boats and Bretz RV. They play major league HARD BALL and will do ANYTHING to make you buy.5-25-19. We have indicated strongly to you we will not do business with you. Stop with the harassment. Stop calling EITHER of us. Grow up! Surely there are plenty of other people out there to bother beside us. Sell someone else something and leave us alone. You’re acting like petulant children.

Decided to give Gull another chance after a bad service experience three years ago that involved poor communication, my boat not being fixed for app. 6 weeks during prime season, and a $3000 price tag. Unfortunately, I had a similar service experience and was charged $383 for a battery replacement and running code on a wave runner. My future business will be somewhere else.Gull Boats worked hard to address my concerns and to develop a solution that would work for both parties. Their efforts were admirable and opened the possibility for me to consider doing business with them in the future.

I have taken my boat to Gull Boats for over a decade and have always had good fair service. I have them winterize my boat in the fall and then de-winterize in the spring. The spring work has always been included in the price of the fall winterization. This year I had them do the same only they charged me $62.50 TO CHARGE THE BATTERIES! Are you kidding me. A TOTAL RIP OFF. I heard the Gull was recently bought by Bretz RV which explains a lot. BRETZ RV IS ALSO A TOTAL RIP OFF. Check out their reviews if you want more info. All I can say is BEWARE!

In fact, last fall when I intended to purchase only a PWC I ended up also purchasing a 21 ski/surf boat.Most recently, the sales representative I worked with was Brody Miller. If you are interested in a watercraft of any type I highly recommend Brody. He is diligent, knowledgeable, courteous and fair. Most importantly, he has been there to help with things well after the sale.

We were traveling from Tucson and developed a propane leak in our overhead truck camper. The service found a loose fitting near the furnace and reset the propane alarm. They helped us out in a bind. I would recommend this business.

My boyfriend and I stopped into Gull Boats to look for a new Bayliner ski boat. We had a pleasant experience with a salesperson named Thomas. He spent the time with us to find the boat that fit our needs and answer all of the questions we had. We knew that the boat we wanted was going to be just out of our price range this year, but we are excited to pull the trigger next year when finances are better. Thomas has contacted us once since we stopped in to see where we were at with our decision. He was understanding when we told him about our financial position and welcomed us to call him at any time with questions. When I first walked into the shop I was mainly just going for pricing and wanted to look at a camper I saw on their website. Everyone was friendly and it just so happened that the man helping me happened to be a family friend, Patrick Nicklay. He was glad to show me what I came to see and we both agreed that the one I was looking at didnt fit my needs so he said let me look into this for you. Throughout about four weeks he would call or text me with new campers that have been traded in that fit my budget and we finally found the right one for me. I couldnt be happier with my purchase and the whole process was smooth and easy thanks to Pat.

I dont write reviews often, but I am inclined to share my experience so far with Gull Boats & RV. Our family has been in the market for a new camper since the beginning of this year. We had visited a few other dealerships before stopping into Gull, but none of them have given us the kind of help and consideration that the employees at Gull have. Out experience so far is nothing short of exceptional.Thomas Kreis has been our sales person, but we have also interacted with a salesman named Dan and a few of the guys in the parts department. Everyone has been knowledgeable, professional and courteous, but that isnt why I am writing this review. I am writing this review because of how these guys have gone well above what was expected to help us find the right camper.It is very important that we make the right decision on type, size, and features. We initially thought we wanted a back of the truck style camper and maybe even a pop-up. It would have been easy for Gull to confirm our desires and sell us one of the North Stars that we had our eye on. Instead, Thomas spent over an hour with me on the lot during our first visit asking questions about intended usage, years of ownership, camping destinations, vehicle, relevant family questions and more. He helped me discover that we would be much happier with a small pull behind instead of the back of the truck camper that we originally wanted. He saved us from making a mistake that would cost us money down the road when we would have had to trade the truck camper in.Thomas not only helped us narrow down the style of camper, but also helped us pin point the model that best fit our needs. He was very knowledgeable about everything from construction materials to the small details of certain features such as solar compatibility. When he didnt know a particular answer (and trust me I asked some tough questions) he consulted the sales manager and even the camper manufacturer at one point. This kind of attention wasnt expected.I wouldnt hesitate to recommend Gull Boats to any of my friends. If you are in the market for a camper or boat this is your place!

Decent folks, selling quality products at a competitive price. Called around the Northwest trying to source a Hewescraft, these guys managed to figure out the right deal for me. Sales staff is not overly aggressive, and the parts guys know their stuff.

I took my jet ski here to get an overheating issue repaired and had a very bad experience with their service department. I would emphatically discourage anybody else from going to Gull for service work, especially for jet skis. The primary reason for my one star rating was their initial attempt to overcharge me for diagnosis work and, once I took my jet ski elsewhere to get the issue repaired, it was discovered that their diagnosis was totally incorrect (see full review below).I dropped my jet ski off in early July and asked them to diagnose the overheating issue. I asked them how many hours diagnosis would take (they said about one), and asked them to give me a call before doing any more serious work. Because I hadnt made an appointment, I was told it would take about 3 weeks for them to get to my jet ski. The duration seemed a bit long but no huge deal.After about three weeks, I was told a technician had grabbed my jet ski to start working on it. For another week, I was told it was in a service bay, but that it was still being looked at. This DID seem like a suspicious amount of time for it to be in the shop for just diagnosis work. Finally, I received a quote and was surprised to find that they charged me 2.5 hours for diagnosis work, about $360 between their hourly rate and additional service supplies. This was more than twice what they initially estimated diagnosis would take, and I feel an extra 1.5 hours of work (or $200) warrants a call to a customer.After bringing up this issue, they instead charged me 1.5 hours for diagnosis work (a move I very much appreciated, but still far too high a price for an incorrect diagnosis as will be described below). At this point, however, I had lost trust in the ability of their service department and opted to take my boat elsewhere for service.The icing on this story is that I took my jet ski to a shop elsewhere in Montana, and they had the overheating issue diagnosed and fixed within 48 hours. The repair they made was completely different than the one Gull quoted me for (and much cheaper), and I have since taken my jet ski to the lake and have confirmed that the issue is fixed.I dont know if my situation is representative of the entire service department or just one bad technician, but overall my experience was very poor from start to finish and I will not be returning here again.

They say you can tell the quality of the sales department by their service department. Gull RV Servicing is the best we’ve found after traveling the country for 20 years. We arrived in Missoula for Lance warranty service by Gull. The slide was bound up and no one could fix it despite hours of troubleshooting and repair. We all know how vacations can go sideways by repairs that have to be made. Gull was determined to get our trailer repaired no matter what it took. We arrived on Thursday with a coach that wasn’t even registered for warranty purposes and by Saturday at closing, the new slide parts had arrived overnight from Lance and were installed by Gull. John Kirby was their excellent technician who did the work, Chanelle Julian handled all the warranty interactions with Lance brilliantly, Karen the service manager took over on Saturday, and KC fed our dog constant bones and handled service writing so seamlessly. We cannot say enough about Gull Boat & RV. 5 stars is not enough. We are on our way to our vacation in Glacier with smiles on our faces and appreciation in our hearts.

We recently purchased a 2017 Seadoo Wake Pro 230. We worked with Brody. He worked diligently to negotiate a deal that would remain within our budget. Even when we thought there would be no deal Brody called us the next day with news that not only would the price work, but we would also get the model we wanted. Though it was close to the end of the season Brody and Greg accommodated our schedules to get us out on the water by completing the deal in a timely fashion. They also helped us when the lights on the trailer werent working. A big thank you to the service department as well. We plan to purchase another wave runner and will be glad to work with Brody again.

We Took our 2018 Bullet in for some major repairs from an accident.We worked with Alex in customer service. We can say they exceeded all our expectations and beyond. We got our camper back looking just like new again. Before we left with our camper Alex went through everything that was done on the camper and made sure everything was as we hoped for. Thomas Kreis was my salesman at Gull Boats. He was diligent in making certain our questions were answered. He was prompt and courteous. He worked hard to ensure we were satisfied.

I recently had an issue with the service department at Gull Boats. It had nothing to do with workmanship but had to do with poor communication or lack there of from the staff. My conclusion was that management was not concerned with customer service. I since learned that this could not be further from the truth. They have gone above and beyond to determine my issues and convince me they care about their customers. This does not change the fact that I was unhappy with my interactions with the service department but frankly, Bretz management obvious concern about how their customers are treated, over the long haul, is much more important to me, than one negative experience. As first time boat buyers we werent sure what to expect but Thomas walked us through everything from start to finish and made it a very smooth and comfortable process. We left there with a boat we love and plan to go back when its time for an upgrade.

Ive been a longtime customer of Gull Boats and RV. The most recent purchases have been a Lance Camper in 2013 and another this year in 2018. Both units I have purchased through Dan Gustin. Dan has been a great person to work with, he spends the time needed to know what you are wanting and gives good suggestions as to what add ons you may require. My family and I were so pleased with our first Lance purchase with Dan that when we traded in and bought our new one this year we asked for Dan again. Dan has always answered any questions we had and has been great about keeping in touch with any new items or information that he thinks would be helpful.
