We used Bitterroot Flower Shop for our September wedding last week and wow! The flowers were absolutely stunning! From the installation on our wedding backdrop, to the table arrangements, to the bud vases and the cake flowers, nothing was missed and I did not have to worry about the flowers at all. After Dotties retirement, the transition was seamless and I never felt like any communication was lost. Marjorie even put the cake flowers on herself during delivery. We cannot recommend Bitterroot Flower Shop enough after our wedding! The flowers were exactly what we imagined, especially our beautiful bouquets. I dont know much about flowers so I told Bitterroot some vague ideas I had and wow, they blew me away! Everything was just how I imagined it and SO beautiful!

I had the best experiences with them all the way around. From ordering (especially with card that was several sentences in length), to a timely delivery for the very next day, and then the beautiful bouquet that my friend took a photo of to show me. I even called, right when the flowers happened to be out for delivery, realizing I had forgotten one name on the card. They were able to contact the driver, en route and add it right before delivery. I was impressed with their services from start to finish and will definitely call them again the next time I need flowers delivered in Missoula.

Lots of glowing reviews here, but unfortunately, my experience was somewhat different. I phoned Bitterroot Flower Shop a full day and half ahead-of-time, about a special birthday event occurring the next day. I specifically asked if they had enough lavender colored roses in-stock (as pictured on their website), to fulfill an order for one dozen in a special arrangement to be delivered the next day. They said they had plenty - more than enough. And so, I placed (and paid for) the order, along with a written Happy Birthday message to be included.The following evening, the order was delivered as expected, but the name on the card was misspelled and didnt match the name of the recipient, the roses were all fuchsia (dark pink) in color, not lavender, as ordered, and oddly, there were only eleven (11) roses present, not twelve?!#@&?. Generally speaking, I dont like to complain about a given incident unless its egregious, which this most certainly was not, but one, two, three strikes, and youve got my attention, especially when Ive paid you over $100.00 for something so simple and previously arranged. So no, this was not a good first impression for me with this merchant. Sorry!

My Sister in law went in a few weeks to see if they had a specific plant . We were immediately attacked at the door for not wearing our masks quickly enough for them . I replied I am looking for a specific plant. I will wear a mask if you have this plant. Would you please just answer that question. We were still by the door more than 6 feet away from her . By that time there were 3 woman very rude unkind and confrontational. We were not intending to browse.They still refused to answer my question. Due to health conditions I could not wear a mask for a long period if time. If They had had it I would have put on my mask and walked through quickly Instead we left in tears . Costumer service rude and unacceptable. We will not be going back. I would recommend MONTANA ACE FANCY PLANTS. They were polite and answer the question needed. They showed compassion to those who struggle with wearing a mask .They have the best costumer service and prices in town . They do not even deserve the 1 Star .

My Mom bought be a lovely plant arrangement for my Birthday. It was delivered to my office last Wednesday. By Friday, all of the flowers on the Azalea had died, but I figured it just needed to be dead-headed so I pulled the flowers off. I checked the soil for moisture and it seemed fine, but I also figured since it had just been planted it would be good until at least Monday. When I came back to work on Monday, all of the plants looked sad so I watered it heavily. Everything but the Azalea bounced back, so on Saturday I took the whole arrangement into Biiterroot to see if they woiuld replace that one plant, if not for free then at least at cost. I came in, talked to the guy behind the counter and explained to him exactly what I just wrote. He was more than willing to replace the Azalea, but said they didnt have any left and wasnt sure exactly what to replace it with. He did say, however, that their plant specialist would be back shortly and if I felt like waiting she would know what they could replace it with. She returned right then, and without asking me a single question, ripped out the Azalea and the moss (which was still living), and planted new moss and a Cyclamen to replace the Azalea. She then watered it, rang me up, and said, thatll be $16.90. I was so surprised, I was speechless. I paid and left.My guess is this is a ~$50 arrangement. Even if I did kill the Azalea (which I find very hard to do over the course of 6 days) I dont agree with being charged full price for a replacement plant. First off, if she knew she was going to charge me, she needed to ask me if I wanted to BUY a new moss. Second, charging me the at-cost price of the Azalea would have been middle ground and it wouldnt have cost the business a dime. Third, even if they had gone above and beyond to replace the Azalea (and even the moss for that matter) for free, they still probably would have profited off of the expensive arrangement my Mom had bought me. If nothing else, they would have kept me as a customer. Instead, Ill start shopping at one of the other local flower shops.

I have ordered several times from this flower shop. I live in a different town and my daughter lives in Missoula. They have always been fast, caring, and have a beautiful selection of flowers for any occasion. My daughter has always loved receiving flowers from them. They also have add-ons such as coffee cards, ice cream coupons and such from local vendors which I love to add to the flowers as an added treat. I would recommend them to anyone who wants great service and beautiful bouquets of flowers.

My pastors wife’ elderly mom was In the hospital in Montana and I called This shop to order flowers. Since I was in Nevada I had to order these over the phone sight unseen or knowing who to call. I got a picture of the flowers and it was just not what I had communicated or wanted. I called and talked to several employees and a manager and not once did I get any defensive excuses. Instead they were very apologetic and insistent they would make it right. The very next morning a new arrangement was delivered that was exactly what I wanted. Top notch customer service and I would order from them again in a heart beat. I had a very surprised and happy recipient despite undergoing a huge operation these flowers delighted her day. I contacted Bitterroot Flower Shop to create the floral arrangements for my wedding this past spring. I was working with Linda, one of the employees at the shop. We spoke on the phone and she told me to send her my ideas via email. I took a considerable amount of time writing and adding pictures to the email to make sure it expressed exactly what I wanted and was easy to follow. I then received a very short email from Linda disregarding everything that I had mentioned in the email saying, My daughter is in town and I will be busy with her for the next week. I will get back to you in a week. I totally understood and waited patiently for her reply which she did. We then moved forward with somewhat of a plan of the flowers I desired for my wedding. At that point I thought I had found a good florist. I then wrote her another thorough email trying to further the details of my wedding flowers and I received an email back saying, I am going to be really busy with Valentines Day coming up. I will get back to you after it is over. Well, Linda never got back to me even though she said she would, and lost out on a huge sale. She was very unprofessional and did not make me feel like a valued customer. She also wasted my valuable time which upsets me more than anything.

I highly recommend Bitterroot Flower Shop for your flower delivery needs. I was in a rush to order flowers for a funeral the following day. I phoned Bitterroot Flower Shop about one hour before close. I explained what I was looking for and asked how they could help. They were kind enough to see if there were other deliveries being sent to that location, which happened to be about 45 minutes away. They found that they were delivering to that location the following morning and were able to help. The next thing I needed help was with selecting flowers. They were kind enough to describe every arrangement they had on-site, and were patient with me while I looked up every flower to see what the arrangement would look like since I was unable to select something per the images on the website due to short notice. We selected an arrangement with white oriental lilies, yellow snapdragons and purple stock. I received a photo of it the next day and was so happy with the selection. The flowers looked absolutely beautiful and were better than I imagined. I did not want something drab or sad looking; the arrangement was very lovely and sentimental yet carried a happy tone to it. I am very happy I called them and trusted their judgment and expertise.

Usually get beautiful flowers, last delivery was beautiful but full of bugs! Little flying bugs! Tried to call got a message to leave a message, press one. Pressed one invalid response??? This is easily the best flower shop in Missoula. I went in a week before my wedding and they were able to give me all the flowers I needed. They set aside the ones I would need to make all my bouquets and a special plant for our unity ceremony. The day my mother-in-law picked up the flowers, they threw in a few extra at no charge. This is hands down the best flower shop in town. I have been using them for years, and will continue to do so. The flowers are always beautiful and fresh, and last at least a week. The bouquet they prepared for my mother on mothers day lasted almost a month before the flowers began to wilt. I have never had a bad experience with them.

Ive been using this shop for years. But early this week, the bouquet came up 1 rose short. No big deal really, but called to let them know. Next thing I know, we are getting another delivery to make up for it, on a Saturday, and way out of their way. When I had called I said I would be be back, and meant it. I payed money for a certain thing, I told them what I wanted. They were not able to produce that thing because apparently they can’t actually put together flowers like they claim. They give me a completely different arrangement, and said “it’s beautiful and original”, they completely missed what I asked for and forced me to take it. Horrible service and execution. They ruined my event and I hope no one ever makes the mistake of buying flowers from these imbeciles.

I placed an order for my job, flowers for clients and for our showroom - the arrangements for our clients are consistently gorgeous and fresh - only once had issues with flowers we were sent at the showroom but I called to ask them to replace them and it was done within 20 minutes - absolutely fresh and a great variety. The customer service for those who answer the phone could improve a bit but Lindsay is second to none. I will happily deal with her from now on.

A special thanks to the woman working in the houseplant area of the store — she helped me pick out an assortment of new plants, gave me detailed care instructions, and even repotted a couple of plants that Id nearly killed. She and the shop are amazing.

I received a beautiful arrangement from my daughter for my birthday on Tuesday. Today when I got to work they were looking a little rough so I called them. Within an hour hour or so not only did I get a new one but I got a lovely gift bag with candy in it. That is why you can always count on Bitterroot Floral:)

I know that they are amazing, Ive used them many times in person. But I have been trying to place an online order and I get all the way to end and it just stops. I have been pushing place my order and nothing happens. So guess Ill call and hopefully they can still do it tomorrow. But think I will only do orders over the phone or in person from now on.

I made a same-day delivery order and it came within a few hours. The bouquet looked better than the picture, and the note was handwritten. They even sent a thank-you note in the mail a few days later! 5 stars all round!

I have placed several very expensive arrangements for my Aunt in Missoula over the past several years which were good. I called this morning to order her annual Christmas arrangement and was told “we aren’t taking anymore orders - we are at capacity.” It’s the holiday season. Consider hiring more staff. I’ll never order there again.

Dottie was amazing and the loose flowers and greenery we ordered for our wedding came in healthy and absolutely stunning. We ordered some italian ruscus and a few white flowers and they were really affordable. The greenery is still alive now, even a week after the wedding!

Bitterroot not only sent a beautiful flower arraignment they also stopped to get a gift card for this fantastic person. Being from out of town and ordering from somewhere you dont know is tough. I went in asking for a simple bouquet for my wedding and the girl at the counter refused to help me pick out flowers from the cooler because it wasnt in her job description and failed to find someone to help me do so. I then went to Garden City Floral where they had everything ready for me in 2 hours. I dont know if the word wedding is a buzzword that freaks people out but Jesus, all I wanted was 3 simple boutonnières and a bunch of daisies or something. Now theyve lost all of the business they would have gotten from my reception in July. Some of the worst customer service Ive ever experienced.

I am not someone who writes bad reviews, but after the experience my wife and I had at our wedding, I would absolutely hate for anyone to go through the same ordeal. On our wedding day alone, they FORGOT to deliver the flowers to our venue until we called asking where they were, pushing our ceremony to start later in the day. On top of still being charged for the delivery, they weren’t even the right flowers! The elegant white headpiece my wife ordered was replaced with a massive red rose bulb, along with other mistakes. The WORST part of it all was we had been trying to stay in constant communication with them for about a year! From the first day we were very up front about what we wanted. The times that they would respond to us in email or by phone (which wasn’t that often), they would reply with emails containing flowers that had NOTHING to do with what we asked for (colors, flowers, etc). We are incredibly easy to work with, but working with these guys was an additional stress that I wouldn’t wish on anyone preparing a wedding.

I ordered flower through my florist in Oceanside CA, for my nephew and niece on the birth of their new twin babies. The first attempt arrangement was ugly and very poorly done. I went to see my florist and contacted Bitterroot and they said they would make it right by delivering a new arrangement the following day which they did.. that arrangement was poorly done and ugly. I am so disappointed, for the amount of money I paid. So so inferior. Never again will I use this florist.

I ordered a bouquet of flowers by phone for my daughters birthday on Wed. 2/11 from out of town and the whole experience with Bitterroot Flowers has been horrible. I had the arrangement sent to her workplace as she lives out of town.The bouquet was late getting there, so she didnt even see them on her birthday, the arrangement was pretty but old so they wouldnt last long, and when I called them about it, they took so long taking care of the problem, that they missed her the next day also. As of Friday morning she still hasnt seen her Birthday Bouquet and that isnt acceptable to me considering the amount of the whole transaction.I have ordered flowers for her since she was 16 and now she is 43, (you do the math) and I have never had a problem until I used Bitterroot Flowers.I dont think I will be using them again.

Worst experience ever! My husband ordered flowers to be delivered for Valentines Day, two days in advance to be delivered to my work. Not only were they never delivered, their excuse being the busy season, she then stated that they would never have given a time for the delivery to arrive. I work 8 to 5. Then he called them and said the flowers could be delivered to our home.. still by 6:50 p.m. they were not delivered. We cancled the order, the suprise was ruined, not to mention how horrible my husband felt thinking he failed me on Valentines Day.. my suggestion to this business is if you cannot handle all of the orders on this busy day.. STOP TAKING THEM.

I live in another state and picked a relatively expensive arrangement online to send to my mom for her birthday. She thanked me for the flowers and sent me a photo. The bouquet looks NOTHING like the photo. In the order I made online the bouquet had several small Roses and lillys and her arrangement didnt even have either of those in it! Im not very happy right now about spending my money on flowers she didnt even recieve.
