3 stars for product selection, because they really do have an impressive inventory. I love shopping around and looking at all of the different brands they carry. Store is very well organized and there seems to always be good deals around.Minus two stars because the employees make it really hard to want to go there. Im really empathetic to retail workers, because Ive worked my share of retail jobs and I know it can be so draining. But the glares, stand-offishness and general disgruntlement of the employees gives me so much anxiety about shopping here. They have consistently made me feel like an inconvenience. I accidentally purchased two of the same item, so I have one to return today. Ive been dreading the interaction all morning.

I love ulta and I love using their products as well. The website though is one of the absolute worst that Ive ever tried to navigate. I have incredibly fast reliable cell service and am on a contract plan so I pay a good deal of money for my data to run smoothly. Every single time Ive ever went to ulta.com to check on products Im interested in, they site is soooooo slow and takes a good 30 minutes to finally after 3 clicks and 10 minute waits between each click, get to the section I wanted to go to. To browse between different products is just impossible and stupidly time consumingThe app is Zero better

I have always purchased skincare and haircare from Ulta, but I’ll only be sticking to haircare now. I purchased a face serum that I’ve had before and I noticed the texture was off. I looked at the expiration and it expired over a year ago. I was shocked an expired skincare product would still be on the shelves and that there wouldn’t be something in the system when I checked out that would flag it as expired. I returned it and the cashier said sorry. I’ll still purchase Pureology here because they have good coupons, but I’ll steer clear of the skincare.

They love to profile & follow you around. I will not be shopping here again.

I did a color correction and an all over blond color with Allison and she was absolutely amazing. When working with her you can really see that she cares about her clients and goes above and beyond. She worked magic on my hair and I would recommend her to all my friends or anyone looking for a hardworking, dedicated, and friendly hair specialist. Will be retuning again and again!

I had to get all new makeup after a year of not doing it (covid). Staff were extremely helpful and helped me match my foundation.

Experience at the Ulta in Missoula wasn’t the greatest. I have been shopping and Ulta for a while now and usually go the the one in Kalispell. My mom and I went in to make a couple purchases. The general staff was very pleasant and friendly. Unfortunately the customer service fell short with the manager on duty. She was not friendly at all. She also was very rude to her staff that was cashiering next to her. Maybe she was having a tough day but as the leader of your store, I would expect better customer service.

Was in here with my partner today. We are an alternative couple and we were immediately profiled by one of the cashiers at checkout. She leaned over and around her coworkers watching us in the isles even though we had all our items in a basket, and when we got her on checkout she took our items and put them in the bag and proceeded to hold them behind and under the counter until our cards cleared for the items we were purchasing, as if we were going to swipe the goods we were buying. Ive never had a cashier do this to us here before so I know its not policy. They always leave the items on the counter and bag it right there. It was both embarrassing and humiliating to be treated like a criminal for no reason other than how we dress. We both spend a lot of money here but after this most recent experience I dont think Ill be going back.

Oh my is all I can say it wasnt good customer service it was stalking . My only day off and I just want to look around for some perfume for my mom and I couldnt turn around without someone right there like I was gonna take something I love ulta but Im not sure Ill be returning . I stopped elsewhere

I personally have not bought anything here but I came with my girlfriend for Black Friday. We came through around 11:30 and were met with surprisingly good attitudes from the employees given how late it was and the fact that it was Black Friday. We were helped at the register by Katie. Her name tag said she was a lead cashier and rightfully so! She was very very nice and helpful and left us in a good mood! She seems happy to help us and made it a great experience!

First time ever to Ulta and will not ever go back. Cashier was very nasty towards us. Great experience for my daughter shopping with birthday money.

My experience was NOT okay. I am never one to write reviews but I just had to because of how my friends and I were treated. My friends and I were profiled for shoplifting and the ulta employees were taking pictures of us with their personal cell phones. The whole time we were shopping they were following us around the store and whispering about us. We went back in to ask them why they took pictures of my car and the manager said they have to look at the film, where they will find nothing but us shopping. We even bought a couple items. Awful customer service I will never go back.

Jordan is amazing! I have found my brow girl for life! She shapes them perfectly and always listens to what I want. Shes so friendly and takes her time with you. This past visit I had her tint my brows and I love them! I they look so full and match my hair. I havent had to fill them in for over a week now! :) :)

Everybody was nice and helpful. Except for one person who was rude about the location of restrooms. They do need a restroom sign in their building and parking could be better but otherwise a great store!

Hands down best makeup artists. A big shout-out to Kaau for always making my daughters experience so wonderful and going out of his way to make her feel special. He is solely the reason we go to Ulta. His years of expertise and passion for his craft show with how amazing he treats customers and he goes beyond to make sure people get what they need.

Trisha is absolutely wonderful. She is so talented and so thorough. She has cut and styled my hair twice and I will be a long time customer of hers. Thank you Trisha for always taking such great care of me and making me love my hair!

The ladies there were amazing today. I bought a lot of new products last week. When I tried them out, the foundation I bought and the eye liner just did not work with my face. Without question they refunded me my money and recommended another brand for me to try. Very pleased with how helpful they were!

I have a love/ hate relationship with this place. I can never get out the door for less than $600. Its fine as I can take anything back even if Ive opened or used it. They are great and understanding and help find the right color or style that looks best on me. I think im addicted.

Dont get me wrong, I love Ulta, and I shop at them regularly. The last time I went to this store was to exchange unopened/unused products. They were purchased over a month prior but I had the receipt on my phone app. I guess I shouldnt have been busy moving across the country to a town that didnt have an Ulta. The manager said the digital receipt doesnt count, and refunded me the lowest sale price on store credit. That didnt seem right to me or the online customer service rep who gave me full price of what I paid. Ill never step foot in this particular store again, its obvious that manager just didnt want to do her job.

Jordan is hands down the best! I look forward to my monthly brow appointments. She does a wonderful job, takes her time and makes sure I dont walk out of there looking crazy! I highly recommend her.

The staff here are friendly, all of the products Ive bought are amazing, the ladies that have waxed my eyebrows there have all done a great job every time, my eyebrows always look awesome.I definitely like being able to test products to make sure Ill like it, or testing foundation/concealer/etc to make sure it matches or goes well with my skin tone. Ulta is my favorite makeup/skincare/haircare store here. Sallys, Im sorry girl, but you take 2nd place.

Don’t waste your time going to ULTA I’m Missoula. They are poorly stocked. They are willing to order the item with delivery to your home. They have done this twice for me and both times they ordered the wrong product. I am now ordering the same products on Amazon and get them in less than 2 days.They lack professionalism and have mastered poor customer service.If no stars was an option, that’s what I would have given them.

I later ended up on Sephora site & used their match app 2 get skin tone 4 other products based on match @ Ulta.Wish Ulta had a feature like that...but N all fairness, I had lotsa VIB pts 2 use up N that regard. I absolutely would & WILL return 2 this ULTA store. The gals their kno their stuff & were so Ncredibly helpful!! Fall weather is startN 2 settle N here @ this location...which means dry, crepe skin undereyes but still oily N T-Zone, but they ptD me 2 product that seems 2 B helpN. I went into Ulta for Black friday was not at all impressed. They had nothing on sale and the workers were also not helpful in finding what I needed. When I checked out my cashier barely acknowledged me and was talking over me to someone else. Even things on sale were more expensibe than getting the same product on Amazon. From now on Ill be shopping online for products.

This is a small store. Not the full range of what Ulta normally provides. I asked the sales girl where the NARS products were and they had only a handful of products. Bummer since Im out of my foundation. In addition the sales girl did not offer and assistance in finding a comparable product. She just went back grooming her brows.

Out of my price range. Help was a little on the snobby side. My sister wanted to go I probably wont go back on my own.

I asked an associate which overnight moisturizer she would recommend and she told me “Well, this one says ‘hydrating’ so it’s probably good” but they all said “hydrating” .... I asked another associate if they had a Michael Kors perfume in a roller and she couldn’t tell me which perfume was Michael Kors. I could not find anyone in that store that knew what they were doing, very frustrating.

Poor womans Sephora. Lots of great brands but not the high-enders like Nars or the boutique perfumes that Sephora stocks, like Tocca or Derek Lam.Strengths: Excellent selection of top skincare brands. And comprehensive haircare section Sephora doesnt have.
