I love Costco! Its the kind of place where you can save a lot of money, get more in quantity and quality. There is everything from lobster to clothes and everything in between. Plus its a great place to get gas!
I’m an so disappointed with this Costco. I had a blowout on the interstate. I was able to put the boot on and make it to Costco. I have a spare tire but since I didn’t buy it from them they would not put it on. This was a Sunday and I was left to find another place that would.Helping people stranded are worth more than policy. I had the tire, the money, Costco did not have the MORAL CHARACTER!
Under construction but still accessible and decent parking. Store is clean, well stocked and staff was friendly and helpful!🤓
Same as ever: essential, but the last place people really want to go on a busy day, which is probably basically everyday.Stress everywhere, just waking through a Costco raises your blood pressure and ignites you flight or freeze system, which accounts for inexplicable cart pileups. This enormous retail store could really, really benefit from some mood setting music... Or maybe a radio announcer spouting off deals, funny stories, random interviews or local news. Hey that idea is pretty good, perhaps I should take a run at VP of Mental Sanity. Perhaps I will.
Always a nice interaction with employees there. I think only once in 20 years have I encountered anyone unpleasant. worth the money, even when shopping for a smaller household. meats and veggies restaurant quality.
Always 5 star. Different stuff offered than in our state. PLENTY of warm / winter wear
Missoula Costco just started their expansion so it will be interesting to see how they continue to operate with such a big undertaking. Overall as Costco’s go this place is kept clean and they hire good people. As a side note I went in to by flowers for Mother’s Day and walked out with 2 swinging camp chairs, a 500 boat, muffins and some donuts. 700 by the time we walked out the door. Just about bought a tent. :). I can’t be trusted when outdoor stuff starts showing up.
Was a very quick trip. Store was clean and staff very friendly. I used the self check out and really it would have liked it if it had taken cash but that wont stop me from going back.
I had an executive membership. Cost was $120/year. No problem. However, when I informed Costco repeatedly I no longer wanted a membership, they automatically renewed billed my credit card the next day. I closed my credit card, closed my membership, and the thieves are still billing me $120 for a closed membership. They refuse to correct the problem and continue to give me a run around. I would NEVER recommend getting a costco card or membership to anyone. They are all full of lies and excuses. Plus, my membership was canceled at my request after 11 months even though I paid for the entire year. They are rip offs.
Costco is not very friendly and not for a train or to get someone to talk to or ask questions for customer service whereas I give it a zero if I could
Friendly. Helpful. Able to get what I needed. parking is always tricky.
A great place to shop for a wide variety of bulk items. Wonderful customer service and a very clean store.
Our go to store for most things. They are currently expanding the always crowded parking lot so it will be easier to park in the future. We also use the tire center at this location for all our tire needs. For many years we used to get our gas there too, but we have two ELECTRIC CARS now! Friendly and helpful staff. We are taking full advantage of our membership at this location.
I am not a member of Costco and you do not have to be a member for use in the pharmacy. Any time when I go to pick up a prescription I tell them at the door I am headed to the pharmacy. Today they said I had to wait for an escort to the pharmacy. I questioned the new ruling and she said the manager would explain that to me as she would be escorting me. The manager arrived none hurriedly. She told me we were being escorted because of the amount of theft. I told her she was treating me like a criminal then by assuming I was coming there to Rip them off. So does that also mean they assume all those card carrying members would not steal from them. It was a total insult as that was not my intent. I just came in to get my prescription and leave as I always do. My Plan D provider uses Costco, so I have no options. She never apologized or said I agree or I understand your feelings which made me even madder. It just confirms my reasons for not wanting a membership because of poor customer service.
Bought my new cell phone from Johnny he explained everything I needed to know. Im 70 and needed a little extra help. He took his time and set me up with T Mobil I get great service at a resemble price.
Friendly service, same Costco stuff you’d expect elsewhere.
Went into Costco to shop for a day to see if I would like it better than Sams club. Asked if they had a day pass and was informed no. I would had a better service if they said just no really snooty. I will stay with sam club now. Thanks for nothing if I could you would have gotten zero stars.
Very helpful staff and the folks in the vehicle services/tires were amazing. Good group of people.
Just want to say thanks a lot for the flood light in my face at your guys temporary employee parking. Keeps me and my kid up all night now and comes on all different times and days.
Taylor & Justin were awesome. I was in and out within 15mins for air added to a rented cars tire. Super professional
I would say that one Costco is the same as any other, but what sets different basically identical physical locations apart is the staff. I find them to be easy to locate, very friendly, knowledgeable (and when they cant answer a question they find someone who can) and professional.Shelves are always fully stocked and mostly well organized, although it does seem that corporate nonsense dictates random rearranging on a regular basis. And as always lines can be fairly long depending on what time (or day) you visit but getting customers checked out is quick and efficient. This location is soon to get a rather significant expansion (construction has already broken ground) to keep it in line with more recent locations, as this is one of the oldest stores in the company, and I will update my review after its open. But I doubt that I will amended much then.Recommended.
Always a go to spot when in Missoula. Great chicken fried steak, sandwiches and homemade potato chips. Of course the coffee is a must!
I was able to find the items I needed while waiting for rotisserie chicken to come out of the ovens. Sad to see prices creeping up (cheese).
Love to shop here because you never know what you are going to find. Always a pleasant surprise. Just one complaint...please have your wonderful stew meat available again, PLEASE
Costco is a corporate wholesale outlet it provides mainly for businesses or large families but for things that you need to stock up on Toilet Paper and all that kind of stuff when figured out it does save you a lot of money in the long run and you can stock up and never have to worry about running out specially during these times of the pandemic. They do have good prices on meat and frozen food and vegetables and they have the cheapest gas in town by 3 cents and I know that cuz I worked at the gas station and I know how it works, I had to change the gas prices every day according to what other gas prices were in town and there are always 3 cents cheaper but you have to have an American Express or Costco cash card no cash accepted.
Very helpful clerks when I cant find something. Instead of me looking and looking, the clerk found it and brought it to me.
Some construction and part of the parking lot is closed off, so plan around least busy times. Girlfriend and I started Keto, and Costco has a bunch of that stuff, substitutes for a lot of carb things, even snacks covered in chocolate. There are self checkouts now, so if its just a few things... but maybe snag a box first. On my way out the parking lot I was almost hit by a truck, red chevy, bowhntr you know who you are and everyone around us does too now. Watch for pedestrians, dont block traffic with your car to talk to someone and if you do, turn your head and look in front of you before you put your foot on the accelerator.
Costco tire locked me out of my car, and wouldnt do anything about it. Gave me a coat hanger and said good luck. Cost me $22 to fix the leak in my tires and another $55 and 45 minutes wait time for a tow company to come put and unlock it.
Great store. Put your mask on before you enter. Keep it on the whole time you are in the store. Wear it properly. Thats it! You wont have a problem and you wont have to worry about employees being mean to you. Pretty simple.
Close to I-90, best fuel prices around.
The eggs Benedict were excellent and the service was great in spite of it being a busy Sunday morning.
SOOOO...why not add cart paths for shoppers along side or around the perimeter of the parking lot? Who wants diesel exhaust fumes spewed in their face after being basically this manic amazing race? This store ADDS to the stress of being human. No signs, a sea of frantic energy and dazed people...why build an obedient working consumer class only to play with their time and HARD EARNED PENNIES ? COSTCO should at least step it up in design and execution...this store is alittle insulting to the American people...we deserve more out of a consumer thirst trap..
Great place to shop. It stays busy all the time though. Its hard to get on and out at all quickly. Their deals are always good and the staff is always friendly.
Food court service was extremely rude on the phone. Not nice at all. Costco management needs to work on phone skills with these people.
News! It would seem that Missoula Costco is expanding parking with activity around the lot East of the store. This is welcome and needed here in Missoula.I picked up just a few items today and used the self check out which was quick and easy. The clerk was friendly and available if needed.
Good old costco. How does one review you?Lots of things everywhere. Great service. Knowledgeable staff. Clean facilities.Overall a good shopping experience.
Christmas Costco is pretty busy right now but it is still manageable. Their staff is very efficient and courteous. its kind of been my go-to place to buy clothes now because they have fantastic deals on clothing. I am a single person so sometimes buying and bulk is incongruous however I just divide up the meat and put it in the freezer and the rest of it I share with friends. I do love Costco but I spend way too much money there!
Great, although I think Xmas music is too early
Costco has such great prices and have really expanded their selection of organic and gluten free items. I dont always get to check out the non food sections, but any time I go in without my husband or kids I stroll through all the aisles and am always impressed with what I see. Cant wait for the furniture to return! We bought furniture at another store and then a couple weeks later Costco got their furniture in and we realized wed made a mistake. Costco had beautiful leather furniture for less than what we paid for fabric, plus their warranties etc are always amazing. Well be getting our dining table at Costco next.
Its always good never had a problem no lines
I wish theyd bring back the blueberry lemon muffins. The food court is the best lunch spot!!
I like the variety of things that go through Costco. Most of them are priced affordably.
Costco has put a lot of time, energy and money into ensuring Covid safety. Feel safe health wise whenever we go to Costco. Of course sad that we no longer can taste test their products due to these restrictions. Since most of their products are innovative, healthy, less expensive, etc., worth the membership price. I utilize all sections (yes eyeglasses, pharmacy, gas, seasonal items and hearing section) for those items that I have room for by buying in bulk. They have been a godsend for purchasing in bulk during Covid shortages.
I wanted to write this review - as we had a silly incident at Costco a couple of weeks ago and an employee of theirs went above and beyond. From beginning to end, it was your typical Costco experience. We stopped to get a couple of pizza slices on our way out the door. I love the way they expedited the food ordering process. Anyway, on our way out the door - my husband dropped a slice and with a toddler who needed a nap - we wanted to load up and get home asap. It was completely our fault so we took the loss. Well - we were parked at the entrance of the parking lot... literally three stalls from the exit and the kindest employee ran over to us. He had gone and got us a replacement pizza! I dont know his name - just knew he has silver/bleached hair and was younger. He was so kind and thoughtful. It made my week!
Fast pace store, always clean and super helpful staff.
Great deals. Looks like they are expanding. YAY!!!
Im now an instacart shopper....and to be honest when I have to go to this Costco Im excited. Knowing I have a time limit Costco employees are very helpful in getting me to the right areas in a timely manor.
Love it! They have very nice products that are way better than the stuff you will find at any other store. They have a place to eat inside, and the store is big with just about anything you can think of inside. You must have a membership to get in as you can save money by shopping here. Nice staff as well and good customer service overall.
Costco has what you need for a great price. As important, they actually take care of their employees.
Unloading guys r rocking they unload u before ur apt .but very congested cuz evrywhr construction goin on.
VERY SMALL parking lot!!! Ive never seen such a small parking lot for a COSTCO!!!
Lines for gas werent bad at all
Its Costco. The parking is a nightmare but the staff and selection is worth the hassle. The tire center is the only place Ill buy tires from here on out.
The people at both the hearing center and optical center were tremendously knowledgeable and polite. Great experience.
Always have what I need and not very busy for a change. Appreciated not having to wear a mask once fully vacillated.
Always a scavenger hunt to find items! Not nearly as much fun as I get older!
Great gas prices, just like any other COSTCO
Great place great prices incredible selection
The tire center had a great deal on a set of all season tires. Not only did I get the manufacturers rebate, but Costco was offering an additional $80 off. I save $150 on tires with a 70k mile warranty!
Always spending more than you anticipated but with a quickness cause the cashiers are fabulous
Its Costco! Love it.
Went in for dog food and walked out with a hydraulic wood splitter!
Shipping was good. There was a couple things I could not find but I will have to search better next time. Bisquick and Minute Rice have got to be there somewhere.
Love my Costco! Best deals on high octane gas .
When it shop here I love it. Im not a bulk shopper
Upon getting an executive membership, It was my husbands turn to get a card and take a picture. He did, we walked a short ways to get out of the way of the line when a very rude employee storms up to us within 2 feet, not social distancing, and demands my husband get his mask on. He was literally looping an ear. I said ya we know and explained he just got his picture taken. She very rudely said if you dont have a mask on you cant shop here and walked off. We were both in shock. I hope you dont treat all your new members this rudely after getting a picture. We are very dissapointed from the rude treatment received at this Costco. Please be kind.
Forcing employees to wear masks. What joke.
Excellent shopping experience. Wear good walking shoes.
Pretty much just okay. Not really compatible with a lower income house hold because bulk things cost a fortune. There are many membership services that save a ton of money if you utilize them however. Glasses, hearing aids, and best of all...technology. I go here to get tech at the lowest possible price. Never disappointed.
Always a nice variety and good sales
MASK NAZIs after youve started shopping, I counted 15+ customers and 2 employees without masks after Id been shopping without one but ordered to put one on even though Missoula County doesnt require this ridiculous action any more. If theyre still that paranoid not worth my time or money!!!
Always love shopping at Costco great customer service and quality products
Very friendly staff and grate food selection of bulk food, they even have pnnara mac and chees
Good food. Good meat. Getting cold. Lets eat.
Costco is the best. Bulk items at great prices, nice seasonal clothes that last more than one season. Not to mention the food court food is always delicious.
I went for Senior hours. Lots of people but could keep distance and very quick checkout. All staff very friendly and helpful. I was surprised to find well stocked even with toilet paper.
My husband had to do a job and it was at Costco and they were incredibly rude to him and were not helpful at all.
Costco is great. I can feed a family of 4, including two still-ravenous young adults with significant food allergies, a mostly hypoallergenic and largely organic, if not somewhat one-note, diet for about $1200 a month. I know the people stocking the shelves and operating the cash registers are getting a liveable wage and good benefits. Its a fine of example of how capitalism and humanism can be balanced if owners act with decency and ethics. If I bought the bulk of my groceries anywhere else, Id either go bankrupt, or have way higher hospital and pharmaceutical bills to counter all the Frankenfood thats otherwise the norm of American society.
Costco for when you absolutely have to have 5 gallons of mayonnaise
Great prices on gas if you have a Costco card!
Lori and the employee bagging for her(I forget her name) were amazing. Through no fault of my own(an item had mold on it) the bagger ran to grab me a new one. I unfortunately had to wait in the front of the store where I was yelled at by Sara. She told me that I needed to be 6 feet away from everyone(which was impossible in the cramped store, unless I literally flew up into the air or stopped existing). And she told me to go in front of optics, where I was yelled at yet again! The manger was very nice and so was the cashier that’s why I’m giving a 5 star rating. The rudeness of Sara and the cramptness of the store gets a zero.
Been a weekly visit for years. The hearing aid department is unbeatable.
Not a fun place anymore. We have dropped our Citibank card from Costco as we are now on a set schedule of 1 visit per month for necessity items only. The one good thing about covid is our spending has decreased substantially and we have developed better spending habits. Consumerism, civility, and friendly smiles and service are becoming distant fond memories.
Costco at 10 am is quite pleasant, with relatively uncrowded aisles. But why did you have to install self service check out? What about hiring more clerks?
Parking needs improved, but other than that you will get in and out the store real fast.
Parking is a joke, need a second location on the south end of town to take the pressure off of this one. Too small. How wants to deal with Reserve St. to get there. Ill go to WinCo, thanks.
Great pharmacy people.
Love shopping at Costco.
They need to expand. Need to repurchase something you love? Nope. Products are always changing out. We’re from Alaska & their Costco’s are better. Billings’ is too. Costco here sucks. It’s like the dumping zone.
I hav been a long time customer of costco, but recently they have gotten so rude at the entrance that I plan on cancelling my membership and supporting more local businesses that treat me like the valuable human that I am. I dont want to subject my children to the inhumanity that some businesses think is okay these days.
I hate the membership but theyve got a lot of stuff at great prices.
Friendly employees, good value merchandise.
The most pleasant shopping experience Ive had in 3 months. It was so nice that everyone was respectful of one another and the requests of the establishment. I actually felt like smiling at others and wasnt on edge the whole time. Also I appreciated that carts were sprayed and no actual passing back and forth at the check out.
Very nice people
No complaints about the staff - they are great. My only issue with this Costco is selection. This store seems to remove things from stock more than any other Costco Ive shopped at before. Not to mention basic things that youll walk all the aisles twice before you realize they dont have them - stuff like normal salt, or onion powder (spice selection is not good) or tater tots.
Looking forward to the expansion. I use the self checkout as I am in there 2-3 times a week.
Great prices and huge selection of goods and services. Healthy foods and produce and a lot of staples that are bulk yes but priced right! Friendly, helpful staff and the lines werent a mile long for.checkout even with social distancing! Yeah!!
