This ice cream place was awesome! This staff were so kind and friendly. I sampled both the vegan strawberry lemonade ice cream and vegan chocolate ice cream, and both were delicious. I ultimately chose the chocolate, and I would highly recommend it. The ice cream shop itself is so cute, and it was a great pit stop on our road trip :)

The opening time on google is 11am, got there at 11:20 and they are not open. The sign on the door says store is open 12pm. Went for a walk and came back. It is now 12:20pm and the door is still locked, and I’m leaving. There are two girls inside the store that clearly noticed customer waiting outside and are still just chatting to each other without as much as acknowledging me. The least they should have done is come to the door and let me know why they are opening late or how much longer the wait will be. Extremely dissatisfied with this type of service no matter how good the ice cream may be.Visited September 10, 2021, Missoula location

This ice cream was so good we ate there twice in one day-and then again another day at their Whitefish location. We also bought tshirts and a print, so yeah, we’re officially big fans 😄 The honey cinnamon and strawberry rhubarb were spot on!

Sweet peaks is always amazing, but I got to complete a bucket list item on this specific trip. It was slow enough that I was able to sample every single ice cream. It was epic. Still love the huckleberry shake as my favorite, but Ill never turn down a scoop of under the big sky. Its like floating in heaven.

The best mint chocolate chip (Mint Mountain) ice cream I’ve had in my life. Anytime I’ve gone it the staff has been incredibly friendly, even when things are busy. Sweet Peaks is in a great location for getting ice cream and taking a walk downtown or by the river.

Best ice cream joint I’ve been to in a long time and I’m a Coast to Coast truck driver. Their flavors are extremely unique and tasty. The shop is simple and modern. The employee that served me was extremely friendly. One of those places that you are happy to put in a good review for.

Terrific and upscale ice cream shop in downtown Missoula. Lots of great flavors such as huckleberry, cupcake and also vegan sherbet. Prices were good and so was the atmosphere.

Get the waffle cone here! They are light and crispy and made fresh. There is a good selection of unique flavors of ice cream as well, all the flavors I tried were yummy!

I highly recommend the salty caramel and huckleberry.

This was SO good, we had to come back a second time! So creamy, so many flavors and just quality ice cream. Highly recommend! Good portion sizes and fair prices. Local ingredients too which is nice. The flathead cherry, honey cinnamon and s’mores were our favorite.

Too busy to stay today, but I will be back tomorrow with my date!!

The guy scooping ice cream was really, really nice, very friendly! My brother and I both had a black bear sundae-yum! (Huckleberry and chocolate with their wonderful hot fudge sauce) My sister in law had a salted caramel mixed with chocolate love milk shake (she got that flavor from Molly Moon in Seattle) and my other brother had a huckleberry shake. We were all very happy with our choices, alto I also had a sample of the cupcake (❤) and the pumpkin spice(❤❤) Its just down the street from Notoriuos P.I.G. BBQ, we also got food from there. But, dessert first!!

Im giving it 4 stars because everyone Ive talked to has said that the ice cream is really good. I am dairy free so ice cream is usually out for me but then I saw Yeti Tracks. Its made with coconut ice cream....... i unfortunately assumed that this coconut ice cream was the same as the dairy free coconut ice cream i get for at home. It was not...... it was coconut FLAVORED ice cream made with real milk. They didnt have any dairy free options on the board the girl said but some times they do have dairy free options.

Great place in downtown. Plenty of excellent flavors. Quality dairy. No funky foam or froth when this stuff melts. Brick cold when you get it. Prepare for a brain freeze if you cant wait to dig in. Friendly staff and free flavor samples. Whats not to like? Bring on the summer weather.

Just okay. It’s ice cream, so you can’t go wrong - but it’s a little noticeably grainy in texture and not as smooth and creamy as really satisfying ice cream should be. The mix ins are also just alright.

We gave it a year and then my kids talked me into going back. Good cream but very expensive. You do not get very much. About the size of a golf ball. (Splits $5, super small singles $4 plus tip). Headed back to Big D.Wow, I appreciate that you are a MT company as I am born, raised and still all MT, but...we have been with you from your start, always supporting you from Whitefish, Kalispell, Missoula, and once Bigfork. Today we were at your Missoula location. Apparently these days you have raised your prices to $3 for a golf ball sized kids cone and $4 for a very small single scoop. I dont need much to satisfy my sweet tooth, but until something changes, I wont be bringing my family to your parlors. You wont make it at this rate. Go back to taking care of MTns. Charge the out of staters more. There are too many of them these days anyway. Wish they knew we dont want them.

Huckleberry Ice Cream. Wow!

Love this place! I definitely prefer Sweat Peaks over Big Dipper, but I know many people will disagree. I love the flavor variety and that everything is locally sourced. They always have such amazing season flavors. My only complaint is that I often fall in love with the seasonal flavors and then they are gone and I have to wait a year to have it again. I even go here frequently in teh dead of winter when its -20 outside!

Really good ice cream. I used to think I only loved Big Dipper, but I hardly ever go there now because Sweet Peaks is just that much better. I love their rotating seasonal flavors. They are always so unique and have crafty names that make you want to try every one. Cute independent I e cream shop. They have unique flavors including a chocolate flavor that has crickets in it (tried it it was good). Unfortunately, they were out of a couple of their more uniuqe flavors when we visited and while the service was great they needed to clean up the seating area some.

My family loves this place. It might hurt some feelings to say this but if I was forced to choose sweet peaks over big dipper I will always go with sweet peaks lol. The quality is amazing and you will never be disappointed. For example on fathers day 2018 they had a whiskey ice cream which was phenomenal. You wont find that anywhere else in town.

This shop has some of the best ice cream Ive ever eaten. They have unique flavors like bear scat, along with the traditional ones. I personally had the bear scat, which is a chocolate blueberry ice cream and the espresso. Both were very good. The outside seating is okay. It was a picnic bench their parking lot.

Best waffle cone I’ve ever had.

Loved our visit here. The staff was very friendly and willing to allow us to sample before buying. I loved my split with huckleberry and bear scat, there later being a dark chocolate base with blueberry syrup and dried blueberries. This was a highlight of our visit!

I happen to be an icecream conissiour and have had many different brands of ice cream. This place has amazing milk shakes. One might say they are even better then their regular scoops. If only the specialty ice cream was an option for such a shake. Sigh..

Best waffle cone Ive ever had!! I dont know how they make them, but they get 5 stars just for the waffle cone. It was sweet, crunchy, but not dry. You could tell it was made with love and not just store bought. No matter what ice cream you get, you must try it in a waffle cone. It will complete the experience.

Arguably the best ice cream in Missoula! They always have interesting flavors like bear scat (chocolate and blueberry) and honey cinnamon, as well as tried and true classics to choose from. You can also pick up pints to take home or special ice cream for your dog.

Comfy, Montanan style shop, friendly staff and good ice cream with some delicious non-traditional flavors. Waffle cone has nice flavor (some I’ve had at other places are quite bland). Location is next to Jimmy John’s in the quiet little corner.
