Hold on to your cowboy hats, this is a long one, but honest. I was excited to be working with Print Cosmo (PC). I had done several quotes with other companies and PC was very responsive and had the best deal. When I let my usually supplier know what a great deal I was getting, they themselves requested quote. But my usually supplier’s quote came back almost 1.5x higher than mine. When she questioned why her was higher than mine, they said they would need to investigate. Weird, but okay.I decided to move forward with my order and when I let them know I needed the boxes by a certain date, since they were for a live event, they assured me I would be fine. The order process was great. They were quick to provide proofs and I was able to make updated and viola they were off to be printed. I was super excited since this was the first time we were doing boxes and was hoping this could replace our conference bags in the future.I checked in about a week before I was supposed to have the boxes in hand, and they said they should be shipping shortly. YAY, still on time! Perfect!The day before I was supposed to receive the boxes, I got a text message that they had shipped. When I looked up the shipping details – they were being shipped from PAKISTAN. The company is in USA but outsources to Pakistan. This is the day before (Thursday) they are supposed to be at my house outside of Seattle on Friday. I called the company in a bit of a panic, and they said that DHL always shows wrong shipping times, I should get in by Tuesday. TUESDAY – 4 days after I needed them.Fast forward, the boxes do arrive on Tuesday, but only 2/3 of my order shows up. My team and I scramble to make everything work so they do not go to waste. The final 1/3 come the following Friday after my event has ended.The boxes themselves look great, they were what I was expectingish. The boxes were just a little thinner than I wanted since it caused some boxes to break open spilling out contents to a surprised attendee, and the handles (gable style box) were a bit thin. All things I could deal with and fix next year because for the most part they are great.Unfortunately, when I brought up that 1/3 of my boxes came in after my event and expected to be compensated in some way, I was told they would give me a discount on my next order. When I argued that why would 2/3 come in and the remaining came in 3 days later, they said it was due to customs. Fine, but the fact remains that 1/3 of my order when straight to recycle. I sternly informed them that I would not be a repeat customer if they are unable to make this time right.You will notice that many of their reviews are from years ago. Maybe the business has changed, who knows. This is just my recent experience and highly recommend you find another company with better policies. Better yet, find a company where they are manufacturing in the USA to avoid customs delays.
