We were experiencing transmission problems on our way to Lake of the Ozarks and when we stopped at a car dealership in Moberly Missouri it was recommended that we go to C and R Transmission. Charlie was a God-send and got us in right away, had one of his staff check out the problem and had it solved quickly. I highly recommend this shop - they were tremendous!

All the workers are very polite and wonderful. I had a tire issue and went there for help. They had several people pull it in and work on it to get me home safely. I appreciate their kindness and going out of there way to help me in a quick manner. I would highly recommend them.

These guys are the real deal. They are fast, transparent and get the job done at a very reasonable price. One thing that is lacking from most car repair shops is transparency. Those shops never like to give estimates before working on your vehicle. They would usually just surprise you with a ridiculous bill then show you all the extra work that was done. By this time you have no choice but to commit. On the contrary, Charlie, the owner was able to give me an estimate before hand and when there was extra work to be done, he first contacted me to update me before moving forward so I was not surprised in the end. I stopped in to have an inspection and oil change, and they let me know it would be a while there and called the shop on Hwy 24 and checked if it would be faster there, and sent me over there. Everyone was friendly.I would have prefered to use this shop as i literally live down the street, but the new shop on 24 is much nicer inside.

I have had a lot of vehicle work done by C&R and they have always been very easy to deal with. They tell me every detail of what they had to do and break down the costs when I ask. They are very customer oriented and have great communication. I will do business with them again.

I appreciate their honesty and diligence to fixing problems within the price range they quote. Theyve done everything from mounting tires to installing new transmission for me. I find them trustworthy and give them my recommendation.

This place is great, had to have my car towed to their shop because it wouldnt start. Most places when your female and alone have a tendency to take advantage of you. I was pleasantly surprised at how reasonable their charges were and how quick my car was ready. I will recommend them to my family and friends.

I absolutely love Charlie and the guys at C&R. This is the only shop in town I go to for my repairs. They do it all from my oil changes to new tires etc. I always get apeedy service. I love how Charlie checks in a few days later to see how things are going with the repairs! Great Service!

Mark and Tim (thats who Ive always dealt with at the front desk) often diagnose the problem before their talented mechanics even take a look at the engine or other troublesome areas. They are direct. Specific in what demands to be repaired and will (when warranted) suggest other repairs for the health of your vehicle and driving safety. Reasonable charges for exceptional work. I highly recommend C & R Automotive and Transmission.

This is a great shop. They explained everything and set very reasonable expectations. They did an excellent job and the vehicle has remained fixed the first time. I would recommend them for all your service needs.

They are awesome at explaining what is wrong with your car before they go ahead and fix it! They are very fast and effective at what they do and I am very impressed! Check this place out!

They say they checked all fluids but when you look at the transmission dipstick it has not been pulled out in years. Covered in greasy deposit on it thats never been knocked off. Maybe they figure sense a girl took it in she wouldnt notice but when the transmission started slipping and I checked it. I discovered it was 3 quarts low and that is two days after it went to their shop. And before you say anything we only had the car for 5 days. Disgraceful but they definitely wanted to put the up charge of a new air filter in. Guess its easier to say you needed a new air filter then to actually check a dipstick.

Rented a uhaul truck here recently & they had it ready to go and I didnt have to wait around!

Unfortunately I wasnt able to get my service done here recently.. Communication wasnt effectively used. Granted they were slammed with other appts. Still need to communicate with the customer. Mark up front though is awesome. He will do his best to take care of you.

This is the worst shop Ive been to in Moberly. I gave them a second chance after one bad experience a few years back and found myself stranded on the side of the road during the worst snow storm weve had in years - with the exact same problem that they fixed less than two months ago. Now, Im without a vehicle again, I have to pay expensive towing fees and I have to pay someone else to fix the problem that C&R Transmission were paid to fix. Its incomprehensible to me how they have so many good reviews. I dont know how these people sleep at night.

Took forever to get a quick fix done on the transmission. Supposedly fixed a wheel issue but after the dealer picked my jeep up it barely made it 15 miles then had to be fixed all over again. Fixed something and charged the dealer with it before getting the dealers permission. I told them not to worry about fixing it. That was another 100 spent. All around, from the minute I walked threw the door, it was a horrible experience. WONT do business there again and wont recommend it.

This place is great...they have worked on my ca a couple times...reasonable price and good work..today I called them because my friends locked their doors with keys inside...I allied c and r...they came right away and when my friend went to pay him...he said merry Christmas and didnt charge them...C and R..really good people

The gentlemen who answer the phone do a wonderful job. I got in with a same day appointment and was in and out in about 35 minutes. The atmosphere was pleasent - Jeopardy was on TV. The waiting room is small with a free bottle of water.The only thing that caught me off guard was that the technicians in the bay area were smoking cigarettes. I thought that seemed a bit off and dangerous.

I am a college student here from Pennsylvania, and we have all heard the horror stories of people getting screwed over by mechanics when they are out of state. These guy have always treated me well and given me extremely reasonable prices. They are always able to fit me in within a couple days, and sometimes even the day of! I recomend all my friends to go to C&R, and would recomend them to anyone who asked.

Every time I go into C&R they always take great care of me from the little things to the big things like needing a new Transmission. They have always treated me very well and have always made me feel like I trusted them. They give me quotes and let me make the choice on how much money I want to spend at the time. So if I dont have the money for the better parts and I have to settle for sub-par parts then I can do that.I would recommend them to anyone. They would never take advantage of you and I dont have more problems show up a few weeks later after I bring my cars in like some places I have been to in the past.I am one satisfied customer!
