I have been going to Burnside for more than 45 years because they do excellent body work, have great variety of services and a friendly staff. The finished job always looks like new! They take the time to explain what services they are providing, the cost upfront and all the repair options you have. If there any delays they always call to update you and deliver when promised. They work with several insurance companies and a car rental company making for a seamless delivery of services. If you have a rental car you can return it to the body shop directly when you pickup your car. I highly recommend Burnside Body Shop!

Luis at Burnside is beyond awesome. Nationwide is NOT on your side. Luis had to send the same photos of my car a couple of times because the adjuster couldn’t find the photos. Then she wouldn’t get back to Luis. Luis was so patient and kept pushing the adjuster to get the approvals and send a check. It took 29 days for Nationwide to send a check. Luis kept me informed through the whole process, which I appreciated. I picked up my car today and Luis is still waiting for another check from Nationwide. Burnside is a high quality repair shop that guarantees their work but also wont hand over your car without being thoroughly tested and certified. Ive known Brent for many years and his staff always keeps me informed of the repair process.

I had a bender fender on my 2017 honda civic hatchback. Burnside was able to fix the problem and they fix other minor cosmetic damages i incurred previously. They quoted me for 4 days and finish in 3. They even contacted Enterprise to pick me up for my car rental. I would highly recommend them if you are looking for body repair. I have done business with them twice now.

My experience at burnside body shop was very good. I had a bit of a hard time with the front office and paperwork but the customer service in person made up for it. Luis was a very helpful and informative employee, that made this very stressful event a lot more Pleasant.

Came highly recommended, and I would recommend them with one caveat. Work is quality. Customer communication is unsatisfactory. Never received a call or callback on a Friday afternoon that repairs would go into the next week. Still no call late the following Tuesday morning so I called again and was directed to voicemail. No callback for more than four hours, so I had to call again to discover car was ready.

Burnside is well known in the area with a high reputation for timely, and quality work. Knowing this made it a bit easy to leave my precious car in their hands.This the process of repair, they ensure to connect with me to provide updates on damage and timeliness for completion.Relieved to get the call that my car was ready and the outcome did NOT disappoint! Absolutely NO swirles in the paint! Thats a pet-peeve of mine. The work was flawless, youd never know I was hit.I hope I never need to use Burn Side again. Burnside body shop worked on my car. They worked on my steering column replaced the ignition switch where the key goes they also repaired my door which was damaged when they tried taking my Honda Accord. They did a very good job. The people who work in the office are very courteous they are wonderful. I rate them at a 10. I would choose them again if I needed work on my car. (Any repairs. )

From the receptionist to the guy who explained the work done, our experience was awesome. The ease of dropping the vehicle off, and being able to leave the rental with them was unexpected but entirely wonderful. Hopefully we won’t need their service again, but if we have need, we will definitely be using Burnside.

I got sideswiped by a semi after not even having my car for a year. Jerrad K. and his team made it look I had JUST driven it off the lot again. The service that wasn’t listed was an alignment which they also performed beautifully.The one issue I had was the time it was in the shop because so many parts were backordered. I don’t blame the shop for that, so it doesn’t affect my review. Also a little pricey, but you’re DEFINITELY paying for quality.I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone (as long as you have insurance) because they do AMAZING work.Thanks again Jerrad and the Burnside team!!I hope I don’t have to see you guys again, but in case something does happen, you’re my first and only choice from now on.

Let me preface with this - I’ve been taking my car(s) to them for many years and have always been happy!! Not this time - they have changed! They Released car not completely fixed. Waited 3 + weeks to find a part and was unable to drive it -while waiting - gave back rental I should have been able to keep since car was not finished. Poor communication and treated me poorly. To top it off the main contact “Heather” was very rude with a huge attitude the entire experience - completely un-called for / I was nice and respectful the entire time FYI people with me and other customers noticed her attitude and rudeness as well. Another issue - They rarely if ever returned my text messages or phone calls - basically i was ignored! They do not treat you like a valuable customer anymore - this shop used to be my favorite go too auto body shop - local Modesto Mom & Pop shop - NOT anymore since moving to new location downtown by the Police station. My experience was so negative this time I will never use them again nor will I recommend them like I have always done. Not only poor customer relations but poor service - they returned my car with a lot of dirt, grime, paint & ink splotches on my leather passenger seat, arm rest and middle console also scratched the burl Wood bezel from wiping or vacuuming the broken glass improperly. Tons of glass (From broken windshield) still remains in car / they did not clean-up properly AND THEY DID NOT CARE when brought to their attention!. They did NOTHING to rectify situation or make things right. Clearly, taking GOOD care of & time with my car and with me (a customer) wasn’t important to them just getting paid by AAA! Even the handling of my claim with AAA was basically NO better and I’ve been a loyal lifetime member 40+ yrs. Does anyone care how they treat customers anymore? I requested my deductible back from Burnside since I had to clean up the mess their workers made on my leather interior - had evidence & sent them pictures - they totally ignored my request & They did nothing to make this experience right. Jerrad was the only kind one we encountered but still he did nothing to right all the wrongs that happened. Note to Mr Burnside the Owner - I guess you don’t need the business anymore ? you must have plenty of customers who don’t care how they or their vehicles are treated. Quite sad for Modesto - there goes one of the few local shops our city has left.
