My experience with this company had always been excellent. Its quality is comparable to your other big box/brick and mortar brands but what sends me back (my third visit will be on Monday) is the price and while home depot or lowes will say their shipments will be 2 to 3 months for delivery (and Im sure itll take longer) I could depend on these windows less than 2 to three weeks. Ill be going back this Monday for 2 other windows that both home depot and lowes is not stocking grid inlaid. Ill be sure to leave another review on how soon its completed for pick.

Replaced all the windows in my old cinderblock house with custom built windows from Gilwin. Fit was excellent and easy to install because of the the precise size they were able to make. Definitely going to be ordering more for my new house project.

GREAT WIDOWS, REASONABLE PRICE. BOUGHT OVER 20 WINDOWS, 4 SLIDING GLASS DOORS. PER HOME, USED THEM 2 TIMES ON DIFFERENT HOMES HAVE HAD NO PROBLEMS IN THE LAST 10 YEARS WITH THEIR WINDOWS.

Extremely difficult for warranty issues, and there are a lot of warranty issues.All of the locks come loose over a small period of time. The single hung (verticle operation) windows are all problematic. They arent tight, and the steel components loosely fit the vinyl holes whe they attach.You have to guide the larger slider windows closed, as they dont line up automatically.They will litterally never return a call. You have to call over and over before you catch someone on the phone.I believe you should buy local, but in this case I wouldnt recommend it.The saving grace... the professional technicians. Ive had 2 different techs come out to my house and they are fantastic!The original installer (not Gilwins fault) didnt seal 4 of the windows at the top, and that resulted in a water leak and mold.Overall, I would go with Milgard, or Anderson windows next time.

If I could post a NEGATIVE star, they would get that. We called and left multiple messages for this company, was told that the driver FORGOT to put our door on the truck, instead of following up on my door which shattered for no reason I had to call them. They took messages and never returned my calls. They kept saying that the manager wont be in until later and that the plant manager is out of the office. That we dont have to date for you yet. What kind of company waits 10 days to decide when they will get back to you?If youre a builder or home owner, go with someone else. There is NO CUSTOMER SERVICE with this company. Its been a horrible experience and we decided to go with a completely different window company which was charging us more. Ill pray that they will eventually get betterGood luck to those of you who are trying to get hold Gilwin Windows.
