Not friendly or helpful at all. Not interested in helping us. Felt like it was because we werent young girls coming in, is the vibe we felt. Not busy and not interested in assisting us. So, went to Famous Footwear from there to buy 3 pairs of shoes.

Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. We were able to get comfortable shoes that fit both my husbands and my needs. Store got a little crowded but staff kept people moving while paying attention to our needs as well. A little expensive, but if the shoes last, then its worth it. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a more personal shoe buying experience.

I was very impressed with the customer service at this store. Nick spent a lot of time scanning my foot, trying different shoes, and watching me walk with each of them to assist me in finding the right orthotic and shoe. The attention given to help you get into the correct shoe cannot be beat. Thank you Nick.

I came in to be fitted for trail shoes after injuring my foot. I went on a hike with the wrong shoe and paid the price. Donovan was very helpful and got me in the right shoe so I could heal without discontinuing my regular activities. The other gentleman chatted with my children while I went through the fitting process. I am so thankful for these gentlemen and the service they provided. Very positive experience.

Went into the store looking for shoes as my feet hurt after working 12 hour shifts. There were 2 employees, one was helping a customer and the other was chatting up with someone who had already paid. Stood there for 10 mins and then left. I know you are helping someone but it takes a second to say, “Hi I will be right with you”. It’s customer service 101.

Just bought my first pair of comfort/running shoes from here and the atmosphere is fantastic! Donovan (or Dominick forgive me for forgetting!) is VERY knowledgeable on foot health and finding the best shoe for your need!!! Was super helpful and patient with me and made sure I loved the pair I was purchasing (brought out 3 for me to try on and didn’t let me lift a finger practically!) . Even showed me a neat new way to tie my shoes!! The other employees were also very kind and friendly, best experience I’ve had in a store in a long time. Did not feel attacked and no one was trying to force a sale down my throat. In fact, when I first walked in, I think they gave me some time to look before realizing I needed help! Not to mention, I forgot my mask and they were offering some right at the front! :) Thank you so so much for your help, I am loving my new shoes! :)

Bought proper running shoes from here for the 1st time and Sam made the whole process simple and easy to understand. I never once felt pressured to buy anything but that I was genuinely being helped find the best shoe for me. Ended up buying some Brooks Adrenaline GTS 20. Top quality customer service.

This is my absolute favorite place to buy running shoes. They have an amazing selection and the staff are super helpful and go above and beyond to make sure your feet are happy. :-)

The staff here is amazing! They are very knowledgeable and make sure to fit you for what your individual needs are. I work in the medical field and I am on my feet all day every day, they always find the right shoe for me. If I have any problems after I start wearing them I bring the shoes back and they give me back my money or they find me another shoe and exchange it for something that works. I wont buy athletic shoes anywhere else now.

Went to this store to buy my wife a pair of running shoes. Great customer service. Although the place was busy they acknowledged us and let us know theyd help us as soon as possible. Once we got helped, this machine analyzed my wifes feet and recommended her the a few pairs that were suited for her feet. The staff is really knowledgeable. Although I only went to buy her a pair of shoes, I was so impressed I bought a pair as well.

Came here looking for a certain insole for my husband but they didnt carry that specific one, Donovan went above and beyond looking for this insole for us. We had many questions and he answered all of them with no hesitations. At the end we ended buying insoles for my husband and our son from here. No sales were pushed onto to us. His customer service was what sold us. Definitely will be back!

Thank you so much for going above and beyond for my brother. My brother ordered shoes and when we picked them up there was only one shoe in the box!! Hmm, you may be thinking why give this place a 5 star when the box came with one shoe? Well, they immediately apologize for the inconvenience. Not only did they call to have that other shoe delivered but they personally came to our door to delivered the shoe themselves! They threw in some goodies as well which was extremely nice. Everyone is human and makes mistakes but this company goes above and beyond for their customers!!

Their individual service is good BUT when there are five to six customers waiting there needs to be a balance. Get shoes for a customer start them, help another and check in with previous. Find a balance or have more than two employees in the store. Also, a treadmill would be an excellent addition to the store. Let the customer try out the shoe.After writing review I was contacted by email. They wanted me to elaborate. After communicating I would change my rating to four stars.

Its a nice small place, the staff is very friendly and helpful, and tend to all my needs, my Doc referred me there, Ive got everything for my feet to ease the pain😀👍 I have a plantar fasciitis, I recommend this place!!! First of all I just want to compliment the employees that work here! They are very knowledgeable and friendly. They have a machine that properly scanned your foot so that you get an accurate shoe size. Its called FIT ID. They bring out multiple pairs of shoes for you to try so that you get the best fit. Not once while I was there did they make me feel like I had to buy something. I highly recommend this location because of the knowledge level of the employees and the quality of the products. Make sure you join their rewards program!

They have a well supplied, well organized store.They definitely had a nice flow of customers flowing in.Mackenzie was very helpful in fitting me with the proper shoe, use their fit machine and brought out three choices. I tried on New Balance, Brooks, and ended up with the Hoka brand shoe, which is too me at least, a fairly new brand. Got some inserts to help with a slight correction needed.Not really a fan of the shoes in the middle of the room, but I understand it maybe easier for the staff. Call me old fashioned, but I like display walls.

I loved my first experience here. The young lady that helped me was friendly, informative and super helpful. I never knew so much about my feet until today. She addressed all my needs and concerns and I walked out confident that for the first time in my life I have the right size shoes!

Was hesitant to try a foot specialty store thinking prices would be expensive. Pleasant surprise with very helpful person that analyzed my feet and gave me 3 choices that would work for me. Bought a pair and happy feet again.

I havent been running much lately so now that Ive joined Modesto Moves I came here for new shoes. The service was great. The shoes were not cheap, but they fit perfect. My first run went well, too.

It is great to have a specialty running store in town. The selection of shoes is great. On a couple of occasions, though, the associates could not answer my questions. It wasnt a big deal; just a little disappointing.

They have a great sidewalk sale once a year and you get 130 dollar shoes for 20 bucks, there are other items also with that same great discount.

Third time going into a fleet feet store, 3rd time walking out without the shoes I liked that were on display however never have my size.. 10.5 isnt an uncommon size.. or is it so common they cant keep inventory.. whos managing Stockton and Modesto I can order direct faster than waiting for the store to get them to me.

Ive been buying shoes at Fleet Feet for years, first in Stockton and now locally in Modesto. Co-owner Tony and employees Donovan, James and Mackensie are just excellent. Personalized service and shoe/foot experts. Im on my third pair of Hokas (intensity fitness walking) and second pair of Brooks (casual wear). Throw in a Garmin Vivoactive 3 fitness watch for good measure and I am the proud beneficiary of top-quality products from Fleet Feet. An extremely friendly atmosphere and answers to all my questions will insure my, and my wifes, return for years to come.

This is a great store and very friendly staff.
