I brought my car to them for a tint repair on driver back window after dealership had damaged it. After paying $285.00 and receiving it back, It did not match and was much lighter than the original window. I brought it back and was told it was too much work to try and make the incorrect window match the others. They would rather change the corresponding window (passenger back) to match the one that they had originally worked with. If that was okay with me. It was ok with me. When I returned to pick up my car I was met with a bill of $123.00 and two gentlemen telling me that they SHOULD have told me it would cost money to do this but in fact DID NOT. They did the work and would like to be paid. I am a business owner also and would never have had a client pay for something knowing fair well that I brought my car in for them to fix what they failed to fix the first time. I paid the bill as they did do the work but will not be recommending them to anyone. I am sorely disappointed in the way they handled the situation. I was taken advantage of by Abes.

Great experience with this business. They also stand by their guarantee. My stripe on one side was removed by the car wash VISITS and the owner didnt hesitate to replace it.

This is actually my 4th time working with Abe’s. And just as the other times, never steered me wrong. After a insurance repair, they had to install window tint, expel film and ceramic the entire car. End result- pure perfection. This was on my baby, 2015 corvette and I will be honest, I am really a perfectionist. Everything was done prof, attention to detail as we lol as waiting for my arrival was the icing on the cake. Abes does great work! They tinted my windows late in 2019 and recently installed my rear carbon diffuser with a sequential brake light. The pricing is good as well.

I had new headlights, fenders, and a dispersion hood put onto my Jeep Wrangler by Abe’s and it couldn’t have turned out better. They matched the paint perfectly and even matched my red trim perfectly as well. The service was great and the value was very adorable. The paint lasted through winter and still looks brand new. Overall I was very satisfied with what they’ve done to my Jeep. Highly recommend!

I went to Abe’s to get my rear bumper fixed. They did a great job through their body shop. I also had window tinting done at a different shop in Orland.. they put on cheap window tint film that caused bubbling on the rear windshield. Abe’s was able to fix the issue with their good quality film and ensured me that I had a lifetime warranty if any issues were to arise. Five star service! Highly recommended!

I have had Abes work on multiple vehicles I own. Latest vehicle was my 19 Mustang were they dis complete clear wrap on front cover, full hood, fill fenders, lower sides, mirrors and sides of rear cover. Xpel is a great product, they also tinted the windows and windshield. I just came back from a 1500 mile highway trip with no nicks, chips or marks anywhere. Very grateful for this investment. Quality work at a fair price, highly recommend Abes!

I have been going to Abes customs for years and had all my vehicles serviced through their shop. My last experience wasn’t so great and ultimately made me not use them for any further cars i will own. I brought in a brand new 2021 Chevrolet and had paint protection and tints done. The tints were great, but the ceramic coating and buffing was horrendous. I got my new truck back and noticed swirl marks in my new paint and all over the vehicle. I was not pleased but I didn’t complain. The next day i noticed that my passenger mirror was full of swirl marks and i called to have them repair the mirror, being that it was a brand new vehicle. They said that since I hadn’t noticed it when i took possession of my vehicle that they would not replace or fix my mirror. I was furious. Needless to say, it was a great shop until this incident. NEVER USE THIS SHOP FOR ANY PAINT PROTECTION OR DETAILING. They will destroy your paint job and you will be left with a vehicle that you just paid almost$1,000 to get detailed being all messed up and in need of another shops much better work.

Got my windows tinted here because of the Lifetime Warranty. After about 2 years the tint started peeling off of the drivers side window due to it being installed improperly. Brought my car in to get the tint replaced and they DID NOT back thier alleged Lifetime Warranty. After the man behind the counter looked at me like I was out of line for even asking that they back thier lifetime warranty, they claimed they had to send pictures to 3M for warranty work and that they would call me once 3M approved everything. Never heard from them.... Just ended up having to pay someone else to do it properly. Incredibly disappointed and I will never go back here again. Dont pay the inflated price for the Lifetime Warranty! Its a scam!

Had wanted to do a project on my motorcycle for sometime now, and after some companies would not touch it was lead over to Abe’s. Talked with Henry about project for bike graphics, and clear vinyl paint protection. He was very accommodating, and excited about doing the project. I had only one request that was I gave them a general concept of what I wanted, but wanted them to have artistic input. I picked up the motorcycle today, and was blown away by the work done THIS PLACE WILL DO ALL MY WORK FOR ME!!!! Paint, body, vinyl, and everything they can do. Price was very fair, lower than a couple competitors that would even do it, while nice added benefit was not my driving force. P.S added note just to show their integrity, I have a custom gas cover on my bike they thought they may have scratched when moving so they ordered a new one over $125.00, and apologized, but that was already scratched by me so I bought the new one from them. Took in my GS350 F-Sport for chrome delete (vinyl wrap ), LED lighting upgrades including a new front lip bumper that required painting and installing. From the initial appointment to pick up the service was outstanding, Abe (owner) and Henry (son) and even Tyler are top notch guys and not only did the results speak for themselves but the work and service they turned out was impressive. My car not only looks great but Abe and his crew are really cool and nice peeps too. Abe is very personable, his attention to detail is excellent and broke down all the work performed on my car and how to treat and maintain it etc.. Just had my windows tinted and what a great job they did.

Both times I went into the shop not one worker was wearing a mask. The second time I had to ask them if they could wear one as I paid for my services, to which they agreed. Its hard to believe that after being in a pandemic for one year, I would have to ASK employees to put a mask on before speaking to their customers.

I had messed up tinted windows on my audi and I came to this shop to get them re-done. They did an awesome job with removing the old tint and applying it all over again. I took my car to this place for a repair due to somebody hitting my car in a parking lot and the owner abe personally looked at the damage, had a quote for me very quickly and he even dealt with my insurance company. I went to Abes recently to have the windows on a new Lexus tinted. The shop is very nicely done with a great waiting area. When I wen in I was greeted and want through all the options available, pros and cons, etc. Got to see some cars they were working on in the back as well - very clean and well done shop. Prices were right in line with other quotes I received locally. They squeezed me in the next day and the result is outstanding - highly recommended. Ill be using them again for some other work in the near future. And to top it off, they vacuumed the inside of the car and wiped everything down. Great services and very friendly, easy to deal with.

Had windows tinted with 3M crystalline a few days ago. Abes was knowledgeable, patient, and well priced. Brought car in in the morning and picked it up in the afternoon. Called them the next day with some additional questions and they were helpful. Everything seems great so far. A good experience and Id definitely recommend them.

Best tint place in the chicagoland area. I had my cars tinted at other places before none of them come close to Abes. Great customer service and tints are top notch. Laser cut ( a lot of other shops use razor blades) I always recommend them to my friends. A+. Also waiting area has a nice couch and a TV

Went to Abe’s Custom for windows tinting and clear bra (paint protection) installation on my 2014 Audi TT. Most of our communications were made by emails, getting an estimate, making an appointment, progress update etc.… Chris responds my emails within an hour and some time within minutes. Customer service is excellent; the staffs there are very friendly and professional as well. The quality of works (the results) is simply outstanding. I recommended Abe’s Custom to all my car enthusiast friends and I will definitely go back there again!

Abes did a great job on my 35 % window tinting. My car was done promptly. I like the way the car looks. I like the tinting for the privacy that it provides. Dont know where to begin. Family owned and operated have worked on every car I own..never once disappointed. The fit..finish and overall craftsmanship is why I continue to keep coming back. The tint application has been perfect every time..there are other places that can do for less money, but the quality is not the same. Big lesson here...LESS IS NEVER MORE...I had another place complete a tint job which Abes had to remove and reinstall. I know what it is like to pay twice for the same job. Keep up the great work!

I have had multiple vehicles tinted by Abes and sent friends and co workers as well. I just purchased a 2017 SantaFe and they did the front windows, clear wrap on front bumper, hood,mirrors,door handle pockets, door edges and rear bumper. Everything was done perfectly. It is obvious there is a lot of pride in the work they do and it shows in the end product. Highly recommended!

Dont go anywhere else! I researched almost every tinting shop around me, (Frankfort/Mokena area) and this place is by far the best. Some other places looked good, but upon looking into them more, they turned out to be unreliable risky shops. This place has great service and good prices. Got my 2004 Honda Accord Coupe tinted for $195. Love it. Highly reccomend.

They might be good with tints but I wouldnt know. I do know you should never let them work on anything that deals with the cars paint.

Abes twice failed to tint my vehicle properly, so I decided to get my money back before I gave them my vehicle for a third time. The first time my vehicle was given back to me, I was pulling out of the parking lot as I noticed deep scratches all over the tint of each window. This was blamed on an old tool. I rescheduled, was assured this time the manager had looked it over, and when I picked it up there were bubbles all over my rear window and in other spots as well. I showed this to the manager who stated it was unacceptable and again would need to be fixed. I decided to cut my losses and ask for my money back since the quality of work was so poor and I did not have anymore time to waste. To make things worse, Abes did not even offer to take the bad tint off my vehicle. So now I have to pay the next place to not only take all of the tint off but then tint the vehicle properly.

Over $550 to tint a Altima, highway robbery. Got it done at a different shop in Orland for $220 looks great, I don’t see why Abe wants to charge so much maybe his rent is high.

I wouldnt give a dime of my money to this place ever again worst experience of my life. They destroyed the paint on my car so bad it had to be taken to a body shop to be painted. Trust me dont go here!

I made an appointment for a Thursday and the night before Chris the manager called me to reschedule due to his detailer going home sick and probably not going to be in the next day. That was fine so I rescheduled for the following Tuesday. They were to pick up my car at 8 am. At 8:15 I called and asked if we were still on for the detail and Chris said. Im glad you called my detailer called in sick. SO, he did not have the courtesy to call me and let me know but I had to call because they were late. He apologized, blah blah blah and said we could reschedule and he would discount the detail. I was hesitant because I figured they would skimp on the detail to make up the discount...but I accepted and rescheduled for Thursday. On Thursday they were on time and they picked up the car. At 3:30 they delivered the car and seemed clean.....BUT, upon inspecting the car you can get much better by just a full service wash at Fullers. The paint had roughness on it, so it was not buffed or clay barred which they say they do with the full detail. The window had been rolled down after and the rubber was still wet so streaks were left. There were circles on the roof from aerosol cans and oily streaks all over the paint. The first thing a car detailer learns is that the windows need to be lowered slightly to clean where it seals against the rubber, all 4 windows still had the grit outline from where the window seals and was never cleaned. The windows must have been cleaned with the same rags they use for window dressing because inside and out the windows were greased up and streaked. The tires looked like zebras because the tire dressing was put on very sporadically and without effort. Im thinking the extra tire dressing was used on the seats for extra slip instead of good leather conditioner. I have to completely redo the windows with Invisible Glass to take off all the greasy film and residue and clay bar the whole car, buff and re-wax because of the negligent job Abes did. Im not sure if the detailer called in sick again this day and no one else knows how or if they are just so incompetent in the work they do. Lets see if they reply and hear their feedback. Maybe Abe himself is not aware of the ongoings and Chris is hiding it all behind his back.

Excellent, 5 stars for sure. I first went to Abe for tinted windows, they couldnt have came out any better. The 3MM film they use might be a little more then you would pay somewhere else but you are guaranteed that it will not turn purple in the future! I owned a stock 2016 STI, until I found out his company works with Cobb. Was very fast recieving the parts/installing (acessport, exhaust, intake, tune). Everything on the car sounds great!!!! I couldnt be more happier. Best part about it is that its on the southside close to home! Im not much to write reviews but when a place is this good its hard not too!John Hernandez2016 STI
