Pace of play was good. Nice size greens. Fairways are lined with mature trees. We will play again
Affordable 9 hole course, nice people, nice layout. I dont know what some other reviewers expected. Youre not gonna get private club amenities for $17 walking 9...
Expensive course for 9 holes. Tee boxes were mainly dirt. Ground all around the course is very hard and not very well kept. The greens were the worst I have ever seen. Mainly hard dirt that has cracks everywhere. No actual grass at all, just seed powder everywhere. Can see all the previous hole locations with large circle cracks. Course was practically unplayable.
March 2021- Oh my, where do I even begin. Well, I knew it was going to be a bad day when the first tee box was backed up with 4 different groups. All fairways were dramatically sloped in either direction. Tree branches all over the ground. Don’t even get me started on the greens. Plenty of divots, grass missing, uneven grass. The ball would hardly roll! Willow run is by far the worst course I’ve ever played on, and that is saying a lot-coming from a broke college kid. This place is a disgrace to the golf community. They ought to just sell the land and let someone else take over. Don’t waste your precious time and money here.
I want to like this golf course so much. Super friendly staff. Nice elevation changes, interesting holes, not too many sandtraps or water hazards (great for a beginner). Only a few holes which are a little narrow. The only problem is that the greens are in terrible shape: very little grass on them. Being August, it becomes a very hard, fast surface. The fairways are also a little rough in spots, but acceptable. We saw many maintenance people and a watering vehicle, so not sure why the course isnt in better shape. It could be a place we would visit regularly with nicer greens.
Nice course except for the greens. Like putting on a giant chinese checkers board.
I used to love this course. Played today and it is in the worst shape Ive ever seen it in. Fairways are like concrete and the greens are like playing on dirt. The staff is friendly, but overpriced and unplayable.
Cheap golf .. Real easy to get a tee time online..
Greens were in much better shape than in August when they were basically dirt. Too many leaves, but it is fall.
Have no clue what happened here. This was a great course to get some weekday holes in, but it has become unplayable and at its current price point will struggle to find others who feel differently. In the matter of a month the greens were dead, the tee boxes were moved to absurd locations, and the course seems to have taken major steps backward. To make matters worse they are still charging full price. The greens were completely barren left with only choppy dirt and gouges. The tee boxes were moved to places I had never seen before, greatly shortening a 9 hole course. Would love to see this course return to what people have grown to expect from it.
Tees and greens had more dirt than grass on them. Its a cow pasture and they have the audacity to charge what pristine courses charge. Unbelievable.
Stay away. I can’t even call this a golf course. There literally is no green and course is obviously not maintained at all. Literally like hitting on cement. Can’t believe they charge $20 knowing the condition of this course.
Great 9, great staff, great prices.
This course was in bad shape! Surprised they were even open for business! The bright spot? Golfing with my son😊
Very enjoyable course for anyone looking for a pleasant round of golf. Has all the amenities of any traditional course, with a friendly staff.
Willow run in very good condition
Beautiful course. A bit tight, but well manicured
We came here for an event and played 9 holes. Super casual suits me well, since I am a novice golfer. It’s very friendly neighborhood feel ... definitely for the amateur golfer🏌🏻♀️ ... we had a lot of fun!
The greens on the golf course are in bad shape. For example, there are a lot of bald areas, with very little, or if any grass. The fairways are okay. The only positive experience was the service I received in the club house.
The course is in the worst shape ever, more dirt than grass on greens, horrible fairways. the worst shaped course I have ever played on in 20 years. really doesnt deserve 1 star.
The course was in terrible shape. Ground was hard, grass was dead and the greens were like putting on dirt. The whole course was a mess. Definitely not worth the price.
A very fun course that is doable but still with many challenges. It is well run with greens in very good condition. Tee boxes are tougher and hard to put your tea in. The distinction between the Fairway and the Ruff is somewhat tenuous, but certainly does not impede your play in anyway. This is a favorite Golf Course of mine. Staff is great, also.
I have been playing there every Wednesday regularly for several years. The course is well suited for the low skill to high skill golfer with good challenges yet not overpowering to be discouraging. The course is in good to very good shape all the time. The management and crews are excellent, friendly, accommodating and are pleasant to all. The rates are GREAT and the location is very convenient. Myself and my fellow golfers rarely think about playing anywhere else.
September after some serious rain and watch as a course and all of the greens were dried out and not playable. Kind of a joke.
Worst golf course I have ever played at!I want a refund!
Its a good 9 hole course.
Green were extremely slow and were very bumpy, Could not get a straight roll on any of the greens. Play was really good, we were done with 18 in about 2:45. Staff were really nice. Its a short course so if you have a wife or beginner that doesnt play much this is a great option!
Nice old school course for the average player. Several blind tee and approach shots if that is not your taste. Reasonably priced.
Nice 9 hole course with reasonable prices and good beer selection.
Really poorly maintained. Price high.
It is in great shape. A nice easy nine for the right price. They have put some money back in the course and it shows.
Worst condition ive ever seen a course in its so funny
Great 9 hole golf course
A great place to teach children the game but if you are below a 20 handicap I would not advise playing here. Tee box grass is long, fairways are like rough, and greens roll about as slow as rolling on a fairway.
Greens very poor shape, much worse than a few weeks ago
This place sucks. Tee box grass 2+ inches high with weeds. Fairways 1+ inches long. There was a sixsome in front of my twosome, they wouldnt wave us thru so I called the clubhouse and asked do you allow sixsomes and he says well it depends. I said not today, I paid to play so come out and talk to them. I hit then went to the next few box and asked the sixsome if they were playing poker or golf. I questioned their golf etiquette and they said anything goes out here so deal with it. The guy from the clubhouse finally came out and told them to make 2 threesomes. They werent too happy. What a joke. Dont play here.
Always a pleasure. Nice little course with good prices
Course is absolutely trash only ab 2 bunkers green conditions were like a fairway,, fairway was like backyard grass,, almost made me lose my love of golf
Great place!!
Greens need some TLC.
Awful condition!!!
Nice place to play golf on the weekends.
Always enjoy playing your course
Great wolf course nice people
The fairways and greens are beautiful!
Too many drunk people but I like walking through it in the winter and at night
It ok
