The owner is wonderful. The first time I came, I wanted to purchase a variety of boba drinks. He was extremely helpful with helping me find exactly what I needed. This time around, we received the same wonderful customer service. He has a huge variety of hard seltzers than what I’ve seen at other places and his prices are fair. You can tell he has a passion for this and takes his time with hand picking what he puts out. We will be back again the next time we are in town!

An all around, if you need it they probably have it good store. Clean and a friendly staff.

Excellent selection of all things alcohol. The customer service was really good, the representative was very knowledgeable and super helpful! It was a great find, a pleasant surprise, and one of our better experiences during our first week in the area.

This place is a beer lovers paradise. Prices are good, and the guy running it talked with us for a long time and made great recommendations. Tons of stuff we dont get in Iowa. We drove over an hour to check it out and will definitely go back.

As a craft beer lover and someone that wants to try new beers all the time, Central Store for me is like being a kid in a candy store. I drive 1.5 hours each way to purchase from their amazing selection. The staff is so knowledgable about beer styles and they recommend new beers for you to try, based on your taste. In my opinion, this is one of the best craft beer bottle stores in the Midwest.

Beer selection is great. Love that they sell local food goods. Drunken cashiers that lack social skills will have me shopping elsewhere though.Update: nothing defamatory in my statement. I spoke to the owner on the phone, who has always been great, and it was explained to me that the employee was angry and clearly intoxicated. Whatever, its a beer store...until he starts getting weird with customers for no apparent reason.

This is currently the only store I go in. Its big, open, and clean, with a huge variety. You can get your regular chips, candy, and soda, but you can also get a huge assortment of craft beers, hot food, and unique Asian snacks. The staff is perhaps the friendliest in town.AND they deliver beer! 🍻

Came from out of town for the beer selection, The guy in the store was more than helpful. The selection there is probably the best Ive seen out of all the beer stores Ive been to. Everything can be purchased by the can which makes trying a variety of stuff. Will make a excuse to make the hour and half trip regularly!

Ive been frequenting Central Store for nearly two years now and its an awesome addition to the neighborhood/city/quad cities area! It raises the bar for convenience stores to an entirely new level. The store has an amazing selection of hot/cold food including his mother-in-laws homemade egg rolls (Fridays only)! Even though Im not much of a beer drinker, its fun to just browse the hundreds of different craft/specialty beers offered. I live in the neighborhood and sometimes pop in multiple times per week for everything from snacks/drinks/tobacco and staples like bread, milk and even fresh fruit and veggies. Its more a mini grocery store to me than a convenience store! Chris (owner) and his crew are always friendly and helpful.

Unassuming and perhaps underappreciated store with a unique selection of items not found in the area. What drew me to this store was all the buzz I was hearing on social media about its fantastic beer selection. The buzz was spot on! Literally the biggest selection with the highest quality of craft beer I have encountered. Craft beer aficionados know that 4.0+ untappd ratings typically indicate above average beers. This place is loaded with them and each beer is available individually so a mixed selection doesnt cost a pile... especially at CSs reasonable prices. The guy running the place was super helpful but not pushy; real easy to get along with. Very fresh, and cold selection with availability up to date on Untappd menu. Great place well worth the 1+ hour drive!

Was here last weekend to pickup some Japanese soda and some snacks. The guy working would not stop trying to get me to buy beer (I dont drink). After refusing numerous times he proceeded to ask me if Id go out for drinks with him (not into other men). One of the most uncomfortable experiences I ever had at store. Go to 7 11 instead!

Initially the store had good pricing for household items but appeared to rise shortly after opening. Its very spacious and they have a decent selection of beer and spirits. The owner is weird, he comes off as a bit braggy or even pushy. For example the handful of times Ive been in, he has informed me he owns the credit card processing companies. Thats great I guess, but is that relevant to my experience? No. While Im sure he is attempting to be friendly and helpful, its nearly impossible to peruse the selection without his constant input and reminder that hes gotten everything below value and in turn has the best retail pricing on inventory, not true and again irrelevant to me. I think its great to take pride in your business but it does come off as braggy and pushy. I would say judging by his social media presence, maybe tone it down. The selection is decent, the pricing is ok and the location is good, but something about the owner makes me uncomfortable, in turn impacting my experience.
