SVS Monroe the doctor was good. But Im going on 3 weeks waiting for my contacts. SVS Monroe said they would call me when the contacts where in. I had to call they had no idea where they are. They have NO follow up. They leave you hanging but they have my money!!

Your optical specialist did a great job of evaluating my prescription changes and evaluating my eye health. Good job!

I recently had a wonderful experience shopping for new frames at SVS Vision in Monroe. Usually I dread having to choose new frames, it can be so overwhelming, however the customer service was outstanding. After a consultation to find out what style of frame I wanted, Cathy selected several styles, and I found exactly what I was looking for. I also appreciated, that Cathy took the time to review additional options for the lenses. I had never worn Transition Lenses before, and I absolutely love them!

I have used this location for years and most of the staff have been there for years so they know what their customers want and their personalities. Every eye doctor that checked my eyes were always professional. I do wish they still carried the English Laundry brand but did find one pair that worked.

Personnel are always professional and friendly. Dr. Irwin is very knowledgeable and takes time to explain things. Opticians are helpful and knowledgeable as well.

Wanted to thank the staff for being so nice & accommodating today. They were on their game from start to finish, I was even impressed how they had it set up with the Covid restrictions. Dr was very nice& explained everything. Special thanks to Jason, He was so patient & helpful, explained things to me I never knew about glasses & the care of my glasses. Great asset to the the staff. In the midst of everything going on right now it was great to go to a place that felt safe. The protocols were clear and easy to follow. Everyone at this location are always super friendly and go out of their way to make sure I know what is being covered and what isnt. Very disappointed had my eye exam on 4/21/21 everything was great woke up the next day to pink eye or something going on in my right eye. So I called the office to see if they could write me a script for some drops. Lady on the phone informed me that I would have to pay 60 dollars to be seen as they don’t bill medical. My thoughts were that it’s odd I go on for an appointment and try on new glasses and such and just so happens I wake up the next day with this I shouldn’t have to pay for the visit. Well on top of that she was supposed to check the schedule to see what times would be available for me to come in for the visit and proceeded to tell me the office manager said it takes a week for pink eye to show up. Well lady all I know is I was fine yesterday and woke up today like this. She then hangs up on me and still here I am with no appointment or anything. Definitely will not be returning to this location very unprofessional in my opinion.

Consistently good care! The new eye doctor, Dr. Angela Taylor, is WONDERFUL with kids. Very energetic and a joy to be around.

I came in ten minutes before my appointment was sent to sit in the back, Then watched three other customers receive service, sat an additional. 20 min after my appointment time and was never given any help, poor service and will be going to a different company

Friendly staff, although very busy. Don’t spend a lot of time with the customers. Prices are OK.

The optometrist explained everything he was doing. Took his time with the exam to make sure I had the proper prescription. This is my second time using SVS both times I was not rushed. I am referring to the lens changes, better one or better two and so on. I felt very comfortable with the exam after it was over. The staff who work there have been very helpful and knowledgeable about the frames they have. I am glad the anti glare coating was offered makes a difference at night. It was a very pleasant experience for me and my wife. She agrees with this review, as she got glasss the same day.

Always fast to get us in. Everyone gave outstanding customer service, but Kathy stands out and always makes sure we are taken care of 100%.

I was very impressed with the superb customer service, knowledgeable staff, and nice Dr. Prices are very reasonable especially if you have a complex prescription. I would recommend trying SVS.

Highly recommend. Went in for the first time ever to get an eye exam and they got me in within days! When I went to my appointment everyone was friendly and helpful. Got fitted for glasses and went home with more knowledge about light sensitivity issues. Work with your insurance and quick process, was only there for 45 minutes.

The staff is very, polite, and always seem to remember you. They are quick to help and are always happy. Their customer service is the best around. I have been going to them for more than 5 years and I don’t plan on going any where else. My whole family goes to them. Three of us wear glasses and two do not. They are wonderful. You will not be sorry.

Always had a positive experience. Staff were very pleasant and seemed knowledgeable. Good selection of frames. Staff are all Teamster Union members. Being an ex Teamster of 15 years I am a pro union guy so that was an added bonus for me. Just my personal opinion though. Overall great experience and probably going to be a lifetime customer.

Dr Patel and Tammy are the best! We will never go anywhere else for our eye care. Dr Patel was knowledgeable and caring. She explained everything. Tammy is hands down the best optician! I walked in, and I was immediately greeted by the lady at the desk. The place was soo busy but they still acknowledged me and Tammy helped me. Best SERVICE EVER!!! The first pair of glasses she suggested for me were the ones I went with, despite all the trying on I did. She was so helpful, honest, and so genuine! I am so glad I decided to give them a try. I love my new glasses!!

Everything was fine until I asked to have my frames adjusted at time of pickup. Person was very rude, didnt want to do the adjustment but did. She didnt even clean the lenses. First time I encountered this experience.

I Got A piece of metal Stuck in my eye at work. I called them last minute and they got me in very quickly. I get there obviously in pain they take me back immediately. The doctor I saw was very patient And did an awesome job and got My eye Cleared in no time. I’m not an easy patient and the doctor handle me with ease. Strongly recommend these folks

I liked my visit. The eye exam went well, the optometrist explained everything in detail. She truly seemed concerned about my health and the steps that I should make in the future. The woman who helped me pick out my frames was knowledgeable and put me at ease with my purchase.

Highly unethical salesperson. Purchased glasses at this location, and quoted a price that was roughly double what my insurance company had indicated I should expect to pay. I contacted customer service and was advised of several premium options that were added to my lenses that I had not been asked or even told about. In fact, I was simply told that they just put my prescription and insurance information in the computer, and this is the price that comes out. It wasnt until I spoke with customer service that I learned of each of these optional upcharges that I had requested. Stay away!

Even though I had an appointment the wait time was a little too much. The staff tried to sell me on over-priced frames. However, the doctor who performed the exam was very courteous and friendly. He was very knowledgeable and explained my changes in vision very clearly to me. Way more professional than most locations for vision exams.

We love SVS on telegraph. They’re always fast and polite. I tried on a dozen pairs of glasses and asked for opinions because I’m indecisive and they helped me pick 3 pairs without a single complaint or eye roll! The best customer service!

Not only did the eye glasses professional James Shannon fix my frames on the spot he had the optometrist squeeze me in for an exam. I could not be more pleased with our local SVS. Very professional and knowledgeable staff (Cathy is like no other!), and they have a great assortment of trendy and traditional frames.I have avoided progressive bi-focals for years. When my blind range became so great that daily activity was impaired, I had to try them. I was certain I would be dizzy and unsuccessful. Cathy was so supportive and guided me into the correct lens and frames. She is a highly trained professional and the process was painless! I wore my glasses out of the shop and even returned to purchase a second fun pair and to convert my sunglasses to bi-focals. Cathy inherently knows what you need, fit, best style for you. etc. Simply amazing!

Chose this place because of good reviews. I was surprised to walk in and not be greeted. Not offered a seat or anything. Tried on glasses by myself. No one asked if I wanted help. Employees scrolling on phones. After exam, I was treated poorly because I didnt find glasses I liked and was going to look elsewhere. Sales lady said they cant help me if another place messes up my glasses. Uh yeah ok. Still not buying glasses here. Overpriced and poor selection on top of abysmal customer service. Wont be back. Boyfriend hated experience too. Says they acted like used car salesmen, aggressive but less friendly. Very odd business tactic.

My niece and her 6 year old son went. The exam was quick but thorough. All questions were answered satisfactorily.

I had an appointment on Saturday with two of my sons. We all had thorough exams by the assistant, Madeline, and Dr. Christianson. Every staff member was friendly and made the process easy and enjoyable. We will definitely be back.
