I swear I’m probably in this store about twice a week. It’s a great place to be and even if I’m not looking for anything or if I’m having a bad day I love to just go and look around. The staff is so friendly and they have a very wide selection of crystals and herbs. The quality of their products are great and shout out to Joe for the tarot reading!! Best reading I’ve ever had :)

I habe been going here for years and I love love love the energy and vibes I get. Always leave feeling peaceful. Picked up some necessary items today for the super moon tomorrow. BEWARE OF FAKE CRYSTALS HERE! I started going here not too long ago and wasnt really educated on crystals at all and I fell in love with this place. Now, a few months later and exploring a few different crystal shops all over NJ and I have a better education about crystals, I have discovered that they sell quite a few man-made crystals and just overall fakes. Ask questions about what you are buying if you go here!!

I dont understand why people hate on this store, I came here with a couple of my friends and the staff was not rude that the store was crowded. Anyways, stop self promoting and stop being a Karen, this store is literally amazing, small, but its amazing. I felt such calming vibes and energy. The staff is very chill and will answer any question. If you dont like it, then thats your problem, you are missing out. If you had a problem with the store than it was probably YOU who started it, not them. HIGHLY SUGGEST TO GO HERE, haters can stay outside and keep bad energies to themselves

My favorite shop for crystals and the incense they make for the shop and sell is incredible. I buy a handful of them when I go and burn through several everyday.

Bad vibes in my opinion, I also have seen that some of the items they sell have been mistreated or not being treated with respect to the communities as well as the practices.

Good selection of small stones. There was less selection among larger stones, and what was on display was very expensive.

This place is beautiful and welcoming. I found the folks here nice, caring, extremely helpful and pleasant. And there is so much to see and look at - an enjoyable experience to visit and a great place to find all of those special kind of things!

This is the best shop for crystals . I live in Long Island and my family lives in jersey so we came to meet them for dinner in Montclair . We passed by this spot and were drawn to the shop . Glad we stopped by we ended up buying sage and some much needed crystals . The sales clerks a women and a man were really helpful and informative. When we checked out and they gave the cards for the crystal meanings it’s was the exact crystals I needed for personal situations/hardships . I’m looking forward to going back!

I wish I could give this business a +5 stars rating. When I first walked in a lady behind the registrar was helping another customer and even while doing that she acknowledged me. I let her finish up with the customer and while I was waiting Laura walked in and assisted me. She was very helpful. Both ladies were very kind and gentle spirited. We talked for a little bit. I explained while I had come in to purchase sage and they helped me find a few more stones to add to my new collection. Based on my short experience, I was moved to have a reading. I would def visit this shop again.

I can’t even fathom where these crazy reviews are coming from. People let’s try to love one another and not tear each other down. Blu Lotus is THE metphysical shop in my area. I love how they know so much about herbs and blends. The classes are great and always different. I count on them for stones and I dont buy stones anyplace else. When it comes to psychic readings, they have the best readers. Theyre the best!

Updated Review (6/12/18): Recently an ~alleged~ incident took place here involving the use of sexist & homophobic slurs as well as physical assault against a customer and her daughter, committed by one of the shops owners. The owners response has been underwhelming, to say the least. Until this situation is clarified, Id avoid Blu Lotus and instead recommend visiting Rockys Crystals & Minerals on Bloomfield Ave. This review will be updated if/when Blu Lotus is able to vindicate itself.

The young gentleman behind the counter was completely uninviting. He assumed we didnt have cash to pay for items by suggesting a much lower quality product when in fact I was inquiring about the product I had in my hands, and we made a few purchases. The young lady that was there was much more inviting, and we had a great conversation about my services as a spiritual trauma healer and spiritual advisor. She even went as far to showing us what products would be beneficial to our goals this evening. He even went as far to rudely ask if we were done browsing suggestively asking us to exit the premises. In these days in time one must be extra careful in hiring racist employees when your shop should adhere to the sensitivity of people from all backgrounds. If profitable business is of any importance this needs to be addressed asap.

I used to love this place until one day when I was going to get my cards read. An appointment was already set up for me and my coworker. When we entered the store and politely said we were getting our cards read, the woman at the front was very nasty and rude and barked at us saying the reader was with a client right now and we needed to make an appointment. We explained to her nicely that we had already made an appointment. She then asked us what our names were with a disgusting attitude. It put me off very much and I couldnt focus on my reading at all. Needless to say, I will not be frequenting Blu Lotus again. There are plenty other metaphysical stores in the area with much more welcoming vibes.

I’d give this place negative 5 stars if I could. My friends and I used to love it. But one of the managers assaulted and yelled discriminatory phrases at a customer recently. I’m never going back and you shouldn’t either.
