This is an amazing store. It always feels like a party because they serve mimosas, hot chocolate, and coffee and snacks! He had his grandfathers ring repaired and resized.I also love the jewelry that is designed by the people there. When I was looking for jeweler to design a custom engagement ring using the stones and gold from an heirloom ring, I happened to walk in to Krombholz, and I’m very glad I did!Though I didn’t have a consultation scheduled, Anita was happy to sit with me and discuss my ideas for the ring. She was very accommodating of my design ideas and constraints (my fiancée is a seamstress, so the ring had to be fairly low-profile so as not to snag on fabrics). From the beginning, they communicated clearly and accurately about the estimated timing and cost (which I found to be incredibly reasonable).In an iterative process of wax models, we refined the design until it was better than I could have envisioned! They were very receptive to my feedback along the way. Lee did an amazing job bringing my vision into reality! And most importantly, my fiancée loved it!

Ive been coming here for a few years now based on a recommendation from another friend who had a custom piece done. They are always friendly and welcoming, and have beautiful pieces in stock. The first one was to redesign a diamond necklace that was my Mothers. Of course this meant a great deal to me and I wanted it to be special to honor my Mother. Krumbholtz did a great job on our custom wedding bands 5 years ago, however if you are looking for the kind of place that you can return to for all your jewelry needs this is not the place Id recommend. They do not service or repair anything that you did not buy from them, which is very disappointing. If you are looking for the type of jeweler that can you can call on to keep all your family treasures in top form I would go elsewhere. We asked them about paying to resize a vintage ring and they referred us to Montgomery jewelry.

After many issues with my original custom engagement ring from another jeweler, Lee at Krombholz Jewelers worked with me to create a much better executed ring. He answered all my concerns that I had and worked with me to make a custom ring. I recently proposed to my lovely fiancée with an engagement ring from Lee Krombholz. He was extremely helpful throughout the process. After we discussed what I wanted, he was able to incorporate some of our family heirlooms with our vision into a beautiful custom ring. The result was absolutely pefect. He even had the ring appraised for me before I picked it up. Krombholz Jewelers exceeded our expectations and we will be life long customers.

Ill lead off with this: I cannot comment on premade pieces, even though they look nice--for my entire experience with Krombholz Jewelers has been in the custom-made sector. So if youre looking for the premade experience, this probably wont be the review for you.In my case, I sat down with my girlfriend about a year ago and asked her--what would she want in an engagment ring? Shed already mentioned amethyst, but I wanted to know so Id get things right. We talked, I sketched something based on her requirements, and did research.Krombholz, for the work I wanted done, seemed like the right choice after reading some mentions of their usage of CAD and 3D printing and great consultation with the client along the way. So I went there.I took my sketch in, they made some recommendations of size as well as had a huge amount of typical ring-shapes that could be modified for such a design, and after a couple of modifications (I initially had a tighter/smaller Celtic weave design, but went with a sturdier one, primarily) we had a plan.A few stops in later, and the ring was done. It was exactly what Id wanted, and more importantly--what she wanted.Great stuff.

My experience at Krombolz was beyond great. From the time I first walked in the door, I felt right at home and knew I wouldn’t be searching elsewhere. Anita worked closely with me and guided me on the journey of finding both the perfect diamond, as well as the perfect setting within my budget. Lee then went off with our ideas and designed an absolutely amazing ring. Needless to say, the outcome was phenomenal and my fiancé was instantly head over heels with the unique design and sparkle of her new ring. Even after walking out the door with ring in hand, Anita’s outstanding customer service has continued. From checking in to see if my fiancé said yes, to bringing us in for a same day re-sizing the day we returned from our trip, to inquiring about the details of the engagement, I can honestly say Anita and the rest of team have been great. Hats off to Lee for the stellar job creating the ring, and to Anita for educating me and keeping me calm throughout the process.

My experience with Krombholz jewelers was very rewarding both in terms of knowledge and a great engagement ring. Krombholz jewelers do one thing that most jewelers dont: they let you make your decision at your own pace. I visited Krombholz jewelers first based on the excellent reviews on the internet. I did not have a clue as to how to buy an engagement ring. Brad was very helpful with various details and the dos and donts at our first meeting and I started to get an idea of how to go about looking for a unique engagement ring. I provided Lee with a few design ideas to put in a personal touch on the engagement ring. Everyone in my fiances family are amazed at the wonderful job Lee did to adopt my ideas into the final design. They have a very comfortable home atmosphere and excellent pricing. I am very happy with my experience with Krombholz jewelers and they will continue to be the first jewelers I visit for future projects.

Went in to get watched resized, they were very helpful, took under 10 minutes and there was no charge! Highly recommended and a great selection of unique jewelry.

The best jewelers ive ever found - they can fix anything and the new designs make me yearn to win the lotto. they answer questions - check things out and know an amazing amount about the history of jewelry. this is so wonderful that i send my charms from california to lee if they need work, and his custom designs are the few modern pieces i buy. i am also amazed at how much he does for the local community. i just wish he had a shop here in pasadena!
