This is a great local furniture store. I love how Mr. John gave me the time to look over all the options that was available and assist me with urgency. If something wasn’t Available he help me to decide with the same item but a different color and a better quality. I didn’t fee pressured or rushed due to him being the only person available at the time. He was super friendly and helpful. Competitive prices too. Would definitely recommend. I would be purchasing AGAIN.

Where do I begin!! From the beginning great furniture selection. No hassle of sales agents pushing you to buy. All furniture name brand but much discounted. Very affordable prices. I even had to change my delivery dates, and the manager was accommodating. Once I receive the furniture, the guys who set was done 1hr tops. I will definitely be back to buy more furniture.

I order some bedroom suit from here in April!! I only got my king size bed! They gave me the wrong dresser and still been saying they will switch it out for the longest! At this point I just want my money back for my dresser this just sad!! Sadly I can’t give 0 stars

I purchase an entire house at this place back in March of this year. The sales rep told me that the furniture would take 4 to 6 weeks to come back. However, I received one called in June that stated that parcel of the order had arrived. The girl that called me was so dam unprofessional “I was like who in the heck gave her a job in sales/ customer services. I was asking question about the rest of the furniture she told me that she would give me a call back and never did. Here it is October I asked the sales manager if I could get a refund on the rest of furniture due to, I no longer wanted at this point. He tells me that that is a 25% restocking fee. On the paperwork that I signed stated that it was 15%. After speaking with the management and they tell me that I could not get a refund on the remaining of the furniture we pick up. I promise you the experience and customer service that I have gotten from this place I would not tell Jesus, a blind dog, or person to shop here. This must be worst place in Montgomery Alabama to buy furniture from. I am so dissatisfied with this place they need to shut down and the key should be thrown away. I dont even want to give them a star but however, google only let you place a comment if you put at least one star they dont deserve not one star. SMFH

You may think you have been to the best furniture stores and found the greatest prices…..however, unless that place was Birmingham Overstocked in Irondale, AL ….you have been miss-led. You’ll not experience any better or more courteous customer service, find a more unique collection and WOW, the discounted prices….from anywhere. Michelle and Victoria go above and beyond!!!!! I have been buying furniture for 40+ years. Wish I had known about this place a long long long time ago. If you have ever told others…..”I have found the best little furniture outlet….” Unless it was Birmingham Overstocked…. you’re cheating yourself and misleading others.

This place has a lot to choose from with very reasonable prices. Ive purchased a bed and couch from here so far. The movers were very careful with my bed pieces. John was accommodating. He was friendly and made sure I was satisfied with my purchase.

I went to Montgomery overstock on Friday and purchased a queen bed & mattress. On that same day I asked about delivery, I spoke with a man who told me it would be delivered the next day which would have been that Saturday. As I am typing this post it is now Sunday. I have yet to receive my delivery, I received a call around 7pm Saturday night letting me know that my bed was never loading on the truck to be delivered. And I should expect my delivery on Sunday morning by 9am. As I am typing it is now 9:24am Sunday morning . I have not received a phone call nor have I received my bed. If I had known this prior to going, I would have just paid for a u-haul and loaded up my own bed and kept my $70 that I paid them!!!

We went there to buy a king bedroom suit and was met by DJ. He was amazing and we got an amazing deal. Highly recommend DJ as your salesman.

If I could give them 0 stars I would. My mom ordered a sectional here in June and gotten a call July 10 saying it was here, and My mom did alot of rippen and running to pick it up today and when we got there they informed us that it wasnt at the warehouse and that the sectional my mom wanted wasnt gonna be here until next year. One of the men that work there had whispered to us saying the people up there steal and sell peoples furniture!!!. This place has bad business be careful.

We waited a while for our items but Dee was very helpful and got us taken care of. Dee’s customer service and leadership was exemplary.

The staff is friendly. Prices are compatible. They have really nice stuff. They do offer a line of credit but the require your bank information. That was my only issue.

We purchased a washer/dryer before 2:30p and was told they would be delivered between 5-6pm. The products didnt get here until 8:40p but they were the wrong ones. So they had to go back and get the ones we brought them redeliver again. Luckily, I not only had a receipt but I was smart enough to take pictures of what we purchase. Finally received the correct washer/dryer @ 9:34p. Were still debating on how the washer/dryer works.

I order a tv stand February 12 they told me it would arrive about March 10. I went into the store that day & was told that it would get here till April 9th. I have been calling the store to see if my item has arrived & nobody has picked up ones. It sends me to voicemail & I can’t even leave one because it’s full. You guys need better service with answering phone calls. Other then that I enjoy going into the store has great items & good prices.

Ordering furniture during a Pandemic is a freaking headache. I was told my furniture would arrive from Ashley co in December 2020, then January then March 2021. I went inside Overstock and the manager was VERY professional and helpful in making sure our family walked out of the store the same day with something and we loved it !!!!!! We are thrilled with what we have and how quick the team in MGM was able to accommodate us . It’s going to be a Merry Christmas after all. God is good !! I definitely will return

This is my first time and last time every ordering from this place. I made a purchase back in Febuary. I was told that my order would be in mid March. I have yet to receive my order and a order status. I even made a trip to the business to find out my order status and all they could say was mid March. And when you try and make contact with the business the answer machine come on. Never again

After waiting since June of 2020 on my mirror and dresser, the manager Dee, took my call and offered an immediate resolve. My bedroom set is finally going to be complete. Shout out to Dee for potentially having a repeat customer

Just go there and you will not need to go anywhere else. I was looking for a few months and so glad I went. I had gone to all of the other retail stores only to find overpriced items that were “not in stock”. The best any of those other stores could do was “hopefully” get what I wanted in 3-4 months. I went into Montgomery Overstock (first time) and was greeted by a friendly and helpful staff. Victoria and Darecus were super helpful! I found a few pieces but settled on one and they made sure I was happy. Highly recommend.

I ordered something off of Wish and I came to pick it up from here, the lady could not get it for me because I had to provide pictures. After I called before I went and she said all I had to do was show a QR code. I had that when I arrived. The staff didnt even scan my. Qr code.im pretty sure she didnt care too much about my order.

Worse service bad attitude three failed attempts at delivery then when I call the store to inform them of the problem she nastily says call whoever is delivering it when she clearly set up the delivery I put my money in her hands two weeks for one child’s bed that I still don’t have please bypass this place if you need furniture the worse customer service ever

Customer service is horrible. No one offered to assist me. I walked around in the warehouse for 30 minutes. While one employee stood talking with her friends who clearly was not making a purchase. I took a picture of the items I was interested in and went to the front of the warehouse to purchase them. I stood waiting at the counter for 5+ minutes before the employee behind the counter even looker up from his phone to realize I was there. I inquired about the price of one item and was told he didnt know the price. He gave me the total so I asked can he find the price of the other item he said No it would take to long. No I did not purchase anything. I prefer to pay more than give my money to a company with horrible customer service.

The Bedroom Suite was worth Every Penny.

I have been watching a certain living room set for about 3 months. It was out of stock and no one would sell me the display. I finally went in today and not only, was I able to get the set, but I was able to get a delivery scheduled for the next day (thanks to John), and my Sales Rep Mandi customer service was amaaaaazing. Aaaaaand it was only her second day! Everyones customer service was great, but Mandis was EXCEPTIONAL.

Nickia greeting with me with a warm welcome I had a picture of what I wanted and she was able to check her inventory to find with the assistance of Victoria who also stepped to assist me with the furniture for my entire living room set. I was a very happy customer, this is my second time using this establishment for my new home.

BEWARE! I bought a 3 piece sectional and one piece was damaged, used and missing parts. On several occasions I have attempted to resolve this problem but I was told all sales are final. Now I have a $1,000 sectional I can’t use. They will not replace or credit me for the sectional. Everything is boxed up so you can’t see anything until you get home and open it. If you want to chance shopping there I recommend opening everything you buy BEFORE letting them load.

Came in today looking for a specific sectional and they had it on the floor. Victoria and Kristal were very helpful getting my credit pulled up and getting the order placed. I would definitely recommend Montgomery Overstock for all your home furniture needs!

I purchased a bed from overstock, they would not allow me to pick it up, instead they sent it out on their truck with a young man who kept it at his house for two days, when I received it I was charged $200.00 received a headboard scratch up and didnt fit the frame, screws were missing. I called several times and got no satisfaction, I am now trying to get an Attorney. I do not recommend this place at all.

Victoria has sold me furniture for my entire apartment and has always taken time out to answer my questions and give me an awesome, easy buying experience. When an order was missing a piece of assembly equipment she went out of her way to correct it. Best prices in town. Exceptional service!

These guys are pretty good! We have bought 2 bedroom sets from them and have been very pleased. One set is over 5 years old and still looks new. The sets we bought are Ashley brand and super cheap. They were well worth the money and have held up perfectly for children! Why pay more in a traditional furniture store when you can save so much money buying here?!

I puchased a Uhaul in Montgomery and it was a lock on their truck and Uhaul stated it wasnt their lock and it was ok to remove it. Mr. John from Overstock got the lock off the Uhaul with no problem and he was also very professional in the process. Thanks for all you do!!!

I was there to pick up my orders from Wish. The customer service was very good considering the state of the world with Covid19!

It used to be an alright store but the girl I dealt with was a complete joke ❗❗❗ to busy tryna eat while trying to help me and then got the nerve to have an attitude after five minutes I just got up and walked off BC clearly it wasnt gonna end well PERIOD I dont even give it a one star but to post this comment 🤷

Slightly dodgy looking part of town and entrance, but great selection of beds and couches, they also have a smaller selection of appliances. Decent delivery prices and helpful staff. Walked away happy with a new bed, and a new washer and dryer.Would love to see a better office area, and more appliances. But I would definitely recommend looking here for mattresses especially!
