Very hit or miss there. Some isles are fully stocked other are completely picked over. Staff was friendly. Store was well lit. The whole store could be better organized but that a corporate thing.

Being that Im a teacher I love Michaels Michaels is one of my favorite supply stores it usually has everything I seem to need and everything I dont need....

Worst Experience with Buy Online, Pick Up In Store or Same Day Delivery - Didnt receive any notification even after 3hrs of booking, called up the store to check on the item & they put on hold & didnt answer even after 15min, thinking it could be understaff issue, went to store to find that they dont have that item.

They had the item in stock what I went there for. I needed addition help but, not one could really help me, they tried in a small way but they just did not know and they was cold, maybe its a color thing with some Alabama white people. Two of the workers, one in the sewing dept, African American Mid to Older Age Lady wasnt so customer service oriented, she was a bit rude. I didnt take so well to it and held my tongue, cause Jesus Knows.....she took me to a different section, she got another lady to try to help, I think she was talking about me first, then she came with the other lady.....I even heard two white employees, one a manager or supervisor talking about how another worker got reprimanded.....I didnt get good vibes in this store.....it appears as if they have alot of drama going on among employees in this store and it spills out to the customers....Sad and SMH.

Nothing advertised online that I wanted was in stock despite website indicating it was in stock. I came back a few weeks later and same results. A wasted trip(s)-sort of. However, sales associates were nice.

I might be biased because this is my absolute favorite place!! The staff is really nice and have never had a prob using coupons I usually find what I need if not I can do so online which the shipping was really fast. Downside sometimes the store is a bit messy it’s hard to maneuver or find things when the boxes to be stocked are consuming the aisles. I can handle a few boxes but when it’s all over the entire store it can be frustrating to shop. More assistance on the sales floor would be nice also kinda hard to find an associate sometimes.

Michaels is a well stocked store with a friendly staff. If youre going to make some craft-related project, theyve got whatever you need. The reason why I didnt give them a 5-Star review is their lack of cashiers... Michaels would be perfect if theyd keep more than one lane open for checkouts. Waiting to give a store money is really aggravating and its your last impression before leaving.Great selection and staff, less than perfect management strategy for checking out though.

Nice craft, interior decoration, and hobby store. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Prices are fair. Parking lot is free and usually can find a good spot. Has other good shops near it as well.

This is a great Michaels store. I have noticed some are better than others and think this is one of the wonderful ones. Great selection of the latest mixed media products and planner supplies, along with everything else you would expect to find there.

The store seemed clean and organized. Found what we were looking for easily and even better it was 40 percent off. The cashier was super quick and nice. She was friendly and very personable.

Who knew there was so much arts and crafts stuff here. Found my girl exactly what she wanted. She was happy.

This location has a very good selection. Employees here are nice and the facility is well-kept. The pricing is reasonable, but slightly more expensive than Jo-Ann or Hobby Lobby. Today the store was crowded, and the checkout line was very slow. The Prattville location is usually less crowded, but the selection there isn’t as good.

I went to another craft store looking for an item they said they had stocked in store. However, could not find what I was looking for. Need less to say I went to Michaels and they had exactly what I wanted and it was on sale. That was a plus plus 😊. And the customers were great too! Everyone seemed so happy.

Found everything I needed and it was not expensive at all. I tried the pen paints for my project but they were more like thick chalk I had to return a 2nd time and get regular paint. I thought I could cut down on dry time but it was unsuccessful.

Store was busy and only had one register open!😞

I love this place. They are well organized and usually have all my items in stock. Could use more staff. Ive been in and walked out without purchasing anything bc I wasnt able to get the information I needed.

I think perhaps if youre looking to draw things with colored markers or pencils or pens this is probably a decent place for you to go if youre looking to do some beading I would just keep on down the road their selection is poor to non-existent. So unless youre drawing or you want to do some fake floral decorations with ribbons then this is probably not the place to go for crafting supplies. I did not see very many Associates out on the floor I was not asked if I needed any help while I was there. I can totally see why there was not very many people inside the store I think their business model is probably a little dated.

I was able to find exactly what I was looking for very quickly. It took some time to check out since there was only one person as the cashier. There was no one around to give any help.

Good sale on yarn, cashier was friendly and interested in learning how to crochet. I recommended the Crochet Crowd on you tube is a great place to start, the host Mikey is a great instructor.

This is a great store with great selection of your craft and hobby supplies. Their sales are fantastic!

What can I say about Michaels? If you need supplies for your hobby this is the place to go! They have an awesome frame shop too. However it pays to wait until they have a framing sale because the regular prices for a custom frame are a bit high.

I always enjoy visiting at a Michaels Store.

You need art stuff, they got it. You need wedding stuff, they got it. You need pictures framed, they got it. You need a tire rotation and alignment, you gotta go elsewhere.....

The capital of craft stores and not over priced if you use coupons. You usually will have to seek out someone for help.

I used to love Michaels but the last few times Ive gone, Ive had a bad experience. Being overcharged, employees being rude, not accepting a gift card I had, etc.

Asked an associate for help and she was ON it! Shalandra went out of her way to push a HUGE ladder over to an aisle where they kept storage for overstock trying to help and searched through quite a few boxes on the top shelf. While they didnt have what I needed, I am so very impressed with the great attitude and willingness to really put effort into helping me. Thanks Shalandra!

Found exactly what I needed and wanted for my wedding

I went two different days. The first day I found 80% of what I needed! Fantastic. Their servers were down however & I was told my products would go on hold & to leave my name & theyllhold it for 24 hrs. I wasnt upset, its not their faults & the redhead cashier was super nice. I return the next day & a completely different vibe! Different female cashier & a male standing over her shoulder who talked their whole shift seems like. I asked about the things on hold & he non chalantly says over there. The cashier dropped one of my balls of string & said nothing until the lady behind her pointed it out. She then forgets to bag up my ribbon! I can understand if it was something small you overlook but this was three 10yd glittery silver rolls of ribbon that can be seen 20ft away! Super rude & non chalant. It was also quite messy upfront.

Poor customer service. Never any one on the floor when you need them. I have been there when they acted like they where doing you a favor of being there. Spend your money at the other Michaels in Prattville. Or better yet go to Joann few doors down.

They have the 12 x 12 big pads of cardstock buy one get two free I stopped up. They also had the eight and a half by 11 ombre cardstock pax 3/10 I am good for paper.

Craft makers heaven. Good sales dailyIf you get on their email list... just about daily you get special sales and discounts on top of what Sunday ad runs. Theyll help you to your vehicle if you need assistance.DONT like their tiny buggies. For a store that sales baskets, large boxed organizers they wont sit down into those little buggies. Had to pull around 2 buggies at same time because they had these items on sale that I needed, yet couldnt get things in buggy. I looked like I was purchasing a lot...LOL Maybe they need 2 sizes if shopping buggies..or at least a few normal size buggies. (Unless theyd like to become personal shopper helpers and take your things to register or switch out your buggy when needed)
