Recall,it was just a way to get you their.tryed to sell me wiper blades for 100.00,then said I had an oil leak.Just had a license mechanic to check it out before I bought it.Sad how they want 100.00 for rubber blade only,just had new ones installed,just cause I a woman I aint crazy

First I want to say that my experiences prior to today with McConnell have always been exceptional (which is why today surprised me). My family and I were in the Acura showroom today because we are in the market for a luxury SUV. We are vacillating between the BMW X5 and Acura MDX and decided to take a look at the model on the showroom floor because it was raining. In addition, because you all have such great customer service I was leaning towards just getting an Acura so I could purchase from McConnell. We were in the showroom for at least 10 minutes looking at the MDX on the showroom floor and the white gentleman in his office never acknowledged us. As a Black family we felt slighted and as we were about to leave another salesperson walked in and immediately asked if we were being helped. When we told her we were not being helped she was surprised and offered to help us. Connie was fantastic and she may be the only reason we every purchase another car from the McConnell dealership or refer friends and colleagues. We have purchased multiple new cars from the McConnell dealership and even referred friends who have purchased cars there too. That said when there are potential buyers on the showroom floor looking at one of your cars and in the market for purchasing a brand new car at the cost of $50,000+ (especially given the fact that the economy is hurting) it may be good to be sure all of your salespeople always politely acknowledge any customers on the showroom floor (particularly when they are perusing the booklets and looking inside the car). Because of my disappointment in the dealership I went online to see what other dealerships in the area sell Acuras. I see that there are Acura dealerships in Hoover and Georgia and considering that we are in the middle of a pandemic and our economy is suffering I really want to keep money in the local area and the state of Alabama. I certainly hope we dont have to take our business to the dealership in Columbus GA. Particularly, since we may actually purchase two new cars over the next year or less. We are really interested in the 2021 Acura MDX and hope to purchase one when it comes out in the next few months. It is my sincere hope that McConnell will gain our trust and confidence back enough for us to purchase a new car from the McConnell dealership by then.
Ive been a loyal customer of McConnell Acura since 2003 when I bought my first Acura, a 2003 TL.. Id had my Toyota Camry for 11 years and my husband was more than ready for me to get a new car so he could have the Camry. I was in Montgomery doing some shopping with my 15 year old daughter and stopping at McConnell was a spur of the moment diversion. The sales staff was very friendly. They were also patient and helpful with my many, many questions. Some of the questions were for my daughters benefit so she could see some of the things you need to know or at least be familiar with when purchasing a new car. The test drive was great and I loved the vehicles responsiveness. After getting all the details about the warranties, I was ready to buy. This was the first time I paid for a new car by pulling out my check book and paying for it in full on the spot. Maybe thats one of the reasons the Acura folks always seem pleased to see me, even the few times Ive needed a favor.The service desk people are very helpful and knowledgeable, especially Amy. I will only get my car serviced at McConnell. My current Acura is a 2008 TL and my McConnell Acura experience has always been exceptional.
I have always had a great experience at McConnell Acura. The customer service is always great! They are prompt to get you in and get your car back to you, and they always take time to explain everything that they have done to the car and what is suggested to be done in the future. Most likely, youll talk to Amy, who is also awesome! I trust her and know shes looking out for me and my cars best interest. Not only are Acuras great cars, but McConnell Acura customer service makes the overall experience worth every penny of the car.
Stepped on the lot waited ten minutes and a lady came out and put our names on a list. We had to wait to see a salesperson. Waited on the lot over 30 minutes and no salesperson assisted us. Finally a the same lady came out and stated somebody will be with us, but we left. Just never stepped on a lot and I wasnt greeted by several salesman. The lady who took our names were nice though.
Excellent, friendly atmosphere; Fantastic serviceI came in with an odd question about a car that is 18 years old. I felt ridiculous for asking, but, I could not locate the dip stick for the transmission. 2 service technicians went out of there way to help me and explained how to check the transmission fluid..
Just had my Acura repaired at McConnell. My story is too long for this post but I had been told by an Acura dealer in Fort Walton Beach my car could not be repaired under warranty and left me with no hope. Casey Horne listened to my story, told me to bring the car in, and his team got it fixed. We are customers for life for McConnell Acura and cannot express how stressed we were after our experience in Florida and now it is fixed due to the professionalism of the Acura team. Thanks from the bottom of our hearts.

This location returned my car with more problems than it went in with!!! My drivers side headlamp needed to be replaced, which is usually better handled at the dealership.. When they returned my car, the drivers side fog lamp was not working as well as the lights on one side of my dashboard. The only response I received was that water mustve gotten in my assembly and short circuited the wiring. While my car was in the shop the entire time??? The only reason I didnt pursue this further is because I wouldnt trust them to even pump gas properly.

I purchased a new vehicle at McConnell Acura in December, and they were great. I went in expecting the standard car buying experience (give them your trade-in keys, wait ... wait ... get a price, make an offer, wait ... counter their offer, etc). But the time from giving them my keys to getting a great price took about 20~25 minutes. I was definitely impressed. I highly recommend them and will be back the next time Im in the market for a new car.

We bought our 2006 Acura TL from Mcconnell Acura as a pre-loved vehicle, but it was in awesome condition. When our daughter turned sixteen, we turned the car over to her. I told her that when any warning light came on, she needed to take it to Mcconnell. The great service people there have never tried to take advantage of her; they do what the service requires and dont try to sell us something we dont need. They are very kind people and always give her a chocolate muffin for the road.

Disappointing service from a typically dependable brand. On a family road trip my A/C quit working. With temperatures in the upper 90s, my beautiful TLX became an ebony oven baking two small children, one grumpy grandma with a side of me. I called Acura expecting the brands usual efficient service only to be told they couldnt see me until a WEEK later. No options were offered, no loaner car available, no solutions just glib and careless responses of Too bad and see you next week. I should be able to get Acura level service wherever they are sold, but this is not the case at McConnell Acura.

Since purchasing my 2007 Acura TL, Ive been taking it to McConnell to be serviced. I have only good things to say about them. Amy always tells me ahead of time what the service amount will be and if its a big service, they allow me to take a loaner car. Theyve also made it so easy to just go online to get an appointment. Unlike other service centers, Ive never felt pressured to buy tires, batteries, brakes, etc right then. They tell me what is needed and what will be needed soon.I should also add that Amy is such a sweetheart and knows her Acuras!
I love my new car and couldnt be more pleased with the customer service at McConnell Acura. The process was smooth and pleasant (actually downright fun) which is not usual for other dealerships weve been too. Okia Landrum was professional and knowledgeable and spent a lot of time with us. She answered all of our questions and we felt very comfortable with her guidance throughout the process. I have owned an Acura TL for 8 years which was purchased from MCConnell. The recent experience I had at MCCONNELL Acura was terrible. Vehicle was damaged while being serviced and the dealership refuse to take responsibility for the damage. I will NEVER purchase another Acura after my experience with this dealership.
